We were invited by friends to this restaurant for lunch in November to try the pizzoccheri, and we weren't disappointed at all! Delicious and creamy, they made you want more and more! The meat and sciatt main courses were also very good, as were the desserts. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent restaurant serving traditional cuisine! If you're looking for traditional dishes prepared well, this is the place to be. The location is very convenient: it's easy to find and there's no problem finding a spot thanks to the large reserved parking lot. The hospitality is one of its strong points: the staff is very friendly and makes you feel pampered throughout your dinner. I absolutely recommend booking, especially on weekends, as it's always very busy (and rightfully so!). Excellent value. We'll definitely be back!

We had dinner at this quaint place. It felt like home. I'm lactose intolerant, so I was truly pampered. They offered me everything and more to satisfy my every need. Aside from the food, the staff's kindness and exceptional availability were a strong point. We'll be back.

I've been coming to this establishment for years for work, and now I'm happy to return with my entire family because the welcome from Franco, Nanda, and their daughter Francesca is always fantastic. Their cuisine is an immersion in the authentic flavors of Valtellina. I've eaten the best pizzoccheri ever here, with handmade pasta, vegetables from their garden, and family-made butter. The dedication and care they put into their work shines through in every dish. It's a place to return, and return, and return.

Francesca and her parents are fantastic! 5 stars for their courtesy, cleanliness, and excellent food. A wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere. Everything is authentic, starting with breakfast in the morning, with lots of homemade, wholesome food... the freshest vegetables from their own garden... the dishes are always fresh. The price isn't just good, I'd say it's excellent, and the peace and quiet are priceless. Sleeping there is truly relaxing. We had a great time. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful location, excellent restaurant, and good accommodations. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. There's also a small terrace with chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing in complete tranquility. The owners are fantastic, helpful, courteous, and very attentive to their guests' needs (they even made room in the garage to shelter our motorcycle). The pizzoccheri are delicious, as are the wines, liqueurs, cheeses, and desserts. The portions are generous, and if that's not enough... second helpings! Very good prices.

If you want to try traditional pizzoccheri and sciat, you have to try them here. I'm from Valtellina but haven't lived here for a few years. I stayed at Restorante Belandin with my family on the way back from Genova. The stay was awesome. The staff is very nice. Even we were late beyond checkin time but Francesca Andreoli waited for us until we arrived. The breakfast was very tasty and good. The location is very nice near to swiss border. My kids were very happy. Thanks once again 💯 % recommended 👍

Fantastic meal! We called a day before for pizzocheri GF as well as the traditional plate. The lunchmeat appetizers were served with local pickled veggies and a fresh zucchini salad. Wonderful light, but full of flavor. The pizzocheri is placed on your plate from large serving bowls. And they come back to give you seconds… the homemade red wine was served with dinner, good and smooth. Not California quality, but very pleasant and easy to drink. The man that runs this place is very proud and runs from table to table to ensure everyone is happy, eager and ready to bring you another serving of whatever you want. A very simple decor, but perfect meal. Will go there again soon.

This review is for the restaurant ONLY, as we didn't stay. Recommended for the pizzoccheri, "the way they used to be made," I must say they didn't disappoint, nor did the sciatt, which are eaten like cherries... one leads to another! The staff is very friendly, and the owner, with his genuine manners, delights customers with his stories, but above all, he's very proud to show off photos of his enormous pumpkins, which he grows in his garden. Whenever we're craving pizzoccheri, this will be our go-to.

I went to the Belandin Hotel and Restaurant. Before I could eat dinner, I asked the owner: "Could I charge my phone, since I already have my charger handy?" The answer: "Yes, but I'll set a timer to measure the charging time and charge you for the electricity." It's absurd that a guest should have to pay for the owner's electricity. Otherwise, I would recommend this establishment because the food was good and the service was excellent.

Il Belandin è un ristorante storico, dove fin da subito potrete respirare un’atmosfera autentica e retrò. Siamo attaccati a Teglio, patria dei pizzoccheri ed è il piatto che li rende famosi nella zona. Costa 7€ una porzione (con ipotetico bis a 2€). Sono i pizzoccheri di una volta, con la pasta fatta in casa, a un prezzo più che ragionevole. Li ho trovati di un buon livello, dove prevale di più il sapore del burro e dell’aglio rispetto ai formaggi (come invece il vicino Da Silvio). Le tagliatelle al ragù di cervo, invece, le avrei preferite più cariche di ragù. Capitolo Sciatt: sarebbero stati potenzialmente buoni ma avevano un retrogusto particolare, probabilmente dettato da un olio ormai esausto. Vengono 50 centesimi al pezzo. Strudel rivedibile, ma a 4€ ci si può passare sopra. L’impressione del Belandin è proprio questa, vale “quasi” quanto costa. Nulla di più…ma quel “quasi” fa suggerire qualcosina di meno, considerando la nota più dolente della serata, ovvero la tipologia di servizio. È pressante, sembra che ti vogliano vendere qualsiasi cosa. Il signor Belandin è indaffarato a tener traccia di ogni singolo sciatt, e di ogni singola aggiunta in comanda. Con modi cartooneschi e,mi spiace dirlo, furbi nel momento del pagamento in cassa. Vi consiglio di controllare che non vi abbiano aggiunto niente in più. Non ho mai avuto modo di provare la loro pensione e dubito che lo farò mai, tenendo conto di come ho visto venir trattata una coppia di turisti stranieri in fase di check-in. Situazione tragicomica che c’ha fatto uscire dal Belandin con l’idea di non aver mangiato cosi male, ma di non essersi trovati affatto bene.

Solo pernottamento,molto scarso. L accoglienza buona, la nostra moto è rimasta nel loro garage. La colazione, essendo i proprietari in agricoltura, mi sarei aspettata una torta fatta con le loro mele, o con la loro confettura. Ottimo lo yogurt fatto da loro. Un panorama stupendo.

Vino come aceto, pizzoccheri untissimi ma non ne ho ancora mangiato di peggiori! Prezzi non esposti, pagato uno sproposito per quello che abbiamo mangiato, mai più! Costine buone, sciatt buoni! Ma prezzo comunque fuori per un posto del genere e per quello che abbiamo mangiato . Pizzoccheri buoni di sicuro non li.

I went to this restaurant with friends for lunch. I think the older man was the very GRUMPY owner! We went for lunch and especially the special Valtellina dish, pizzoccheri. It was truly awful. Pizzoccheri didn't even exist at all; it felt like gnocchi. Then there was the pizzoccheri menu for €7.00. When the staff came to take our orders, they told us they weren't offering à la carte, but rather that they were offering the courses, and we were supposed to take what we were served. So I wonder why there's an à la carte menu? Ribs with salad. Honestly, I was served one rib in the course, my friends barely got two ribs. The final price, with 1 liter of wine and water, was €158 for 6 people. I won't be going there again!!!!!
