Great Korean BBQ. You need to make sure you are hungry as the price is on the high end ($34 and$44) for all you can eat. Highlights: The ribeye was tender and tasty. The tongue was very good. The pork belly tasted great. We only had a few sides, including a very good miso soup and a really good kimchi rice.

Really cool spot in Chula vista. This was the first time I had Korean bbq In the states. It was bountiful and had a really cool delivery system for the items you ordered to cook. They had plenty of options so everyone would have something but they have this little robot that brings you your meats, veg and condiments for your meal

I have been more than 5x and used Hanu to introduce KBBQ to first timer friends! Always great service. The wait is never longer than 20 min - if that. I am always the "cook", which I don't mind. And I try a new side every time. I live for the soju/calpico mix. And everything always feels fresh, thoroughly cared for by helpful staff and it's a good time 😎🎉!

Hanu is my go to AYCE Korean BBQ spot. I've tried a few in San Diego and something about this place keeps me coming right back. I recently stopped in the Friday before Valentine's day to treat my wife and daughters to a nice dinner. This was their first experience with a meal like this and it definitely was an experience they haven't stopped talked about. To start off, there was about a 5-7 minute wait around 6pm which worked out perfectly. Our server Anthony went above and beyond without even knowing it. He along with every other staff member working that night was on point. Within a few minutes I had started cooking our first round of meat. Everything from the sides to all the different types of meat we got were amazing. Anytime I asked for anything whether it was another fork, another side or round of meat for the table, Anthony was on top of it. I had to get his attention before leaving and thank him for truly giving us an amazing dining experience. I would absolutely recommend coming here anytime you're in the mood for some BBQ.

First time to try this place on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t busy at all, we were seated within a few mins. The ambiance is really nice, clean and well kept. Service is outstanding, younger employees working hard. They would check on us every 5-10mins and changed our grill when needed. The meat is fresh and has great quality. All in all our experience was wonderful. Def will be back!

Me and my family sat outside in the Patio where the outdoor fire pit kept us warm the whole time, and I liked the music they were playing. We had the premium option, and really liked the giant supreme short rib and boneless marinated short ribs. I was surprised to see that they had a full bar option for the cocktails as well so I’ll be sure to try out the different drinks next time. Cheers!

90% of the servers are on point and alert to your needs. A few of them may get overwhelmed and forget about you. Understandable as it is a very busy place. The protein is delicious because it's cooked to your liking by yourself. The sides are also very good, I really enjoy the corn and cheese. They usually don't hassle you for the time when it's not too busy because we had a large group and we're there longer than expected and they didn't hassle us at all. Give it a shot, you won't regret it. It is a little pricey though. Thank you but I think it's worth it.

The staff went above and beyond to make our night special, providing attentive and friendly service that truly stood out. The food was just as impressive. Our grill was fired up almost instantly, and the selection of meats looked good and portions were large. The sauces were packed with flavor, and the variety of side dishes added a great balance to the meal. The quality-to-price ratio was excellent, making it an incredible value for the experience. One thing I regret is not trying one of their delicious-looking drinks from the bar—definitely something to look forward to on our next visit! Having visited numerous KBBQ spots around San Diego County, we can confidently say that Hanu is at the top of our list. This has officially become our new go-to spot for Korean BBQ. Highly recommended!

My husband and I love this place. We are always remembered when we come here and we have great service and a great time here. The food is great! I'm very picky with my meat and the bulgogi here is always good I love it.

South Bay only has Mana and Hanu for AYCE KBBQ without driving to Convoy. I would say the quality and meats here are really good and the service was exceptional. We had a party of 6 and tables weren’t ready so we hung out at the bar. We came at 6:30. When we got seated at a table but came to realized, all the food will need more room so they moved us to the semi-private area. They have a really good vent system because usually I’ll smell like bbq from head to toe but I didn’t here. I love that they don’t just put all the side dishes out. You order what you want which is not wasteful. They have a list of rules and it’s a maximum of 3 split cards per table. Loved the corn cheese and japchae. We ordered a variety of meats but I like the ones that aren’t marinated to dip in the sauce. Lots of drink options. Plenty of parking in this plaza.

Nice experience and great food. Our waiter was really helpful in recommending foods from the menu. As nice as the place is, I was surprised that the bench in the waiting area was broke. Sat down and almost fell through.
