A good $6 breakfast burrito; huge and a meal and a half all in one. Free chips and salsa bar. The potatoes used are non-deep-fried, but cooked, french fries. This adds a unique texture. "When fresh" these are "really good" breakfast burritos. Too much for one person, so share. However, don't order enough to take home to have later. The taste changes drastically for the worse; like many foods that are better fresh. These french fries become soft, mushy, and with a flavor reminiscent of cardboard. The cost for a soda is on the high side at almost $3. Consider takeout and bring your own soda and save $2 on your meal. Don't let that put you off, come hungry, and come with a friend. How could you not like Adalabertos. It's by far the most superior Mexican fast food restaurant in the world. I truly look at it like I look at in n out because the food is amazing, and they never disappoint ever that California burrito is truly something I could eat everyday and they load that tortilla up with tons of meat and fillings. I couldn't recommend it enough to ppl and it will continue to be a staple in my life. Great food , friendly service equals a perfect product. They need as many locations as McDonald's has in my opinion.

This place has the best burritos in town. Ive been coming here for years now. The employees at drive thru are always fast and get my order 95%of the time. They food is fresh and hot. The night staff is extremely kind and goes above and beyond to assist those of us with vehicles that are too large to go through the drive-through. When they have a moment, give them a call on the phone, and they will come out and accept your order. Thank you, you guys are great.

Went to McDonald's to get breakfast and no one showed up on time, noticed Adalbertos is 24/7. Not sure how they do it but I'm grateful. Always loved Adalbertos, guess I'm not bothering with McDonald's anymore.

That being said if you want to get the best juicy filled shredded chipotle chicken tacos in corn tortillas with onion and cilantro you have to ask for it. Oh my God food authentic taste was beyond my grandmother's cooking I had a tostada my daughter had a giant bean wrapped up with sauce kind of burrito it was chicken it was absolutely phenomenal with sour cream and guacamole my granddaughter had a quesadilla that was just the cheese was just remarkable nothing was overpriced everything was so delicious they had chips on the side you can get with some different kinds of salsas can ask for a better place I highly recommend this if I ever come back to town this is where I'm coming thank you all for being so great oh and by the way the bathroom was cleaner than the hospital bathroom at Sutter

Ordered the Carne Asada Fries, Churro, and Horchata. The fries is the reason for 4 stars because the fries were not great. They were skinny and soggy. No crisp to any of them, even ones with any toppings. The churro and horchata were sweetness I needed though!

Welcome home! I've been gone from Sacramento 12 years now. Crave Adalbertos all the time. Texas doesn't know how to make a Burrito 🌯! They are maybe 1/3 the size and the same price. Nothing at all has changed with Adalbertos. Flavor, the fillings.... EVERYTHING IS AMAZING. Hot and fresh. Great service. Putting your own special twist on an order is always done without a mistake. Get your $$'s worth at Adalbertos!

I ordered and paid for sour cream to be put on my food and it wasn't there otherwise my food was delicious.. Service was fast.

Sad to say, compared to Chipotle the burritos are pale, and dry. I have many friends that love this place. I finally found an order I can live with. Crispy chicken taco, and a there free chips and free salsa bar is what makes this place totally worth the price.

Normally I'd give 5 stars but the last 2 times I ate there they really shorted me on the carnitas for my carnita fries. It was finely shredded bits and sprinkled on top with more fries to make it appear large.

First time here and highly recommend the super nachos and burritos. Salsa verde was the best at the salsa bar. Staff very friendly and will return!

Been going to different stores of this chain. Recent visit was the one on greenback near Auburn Blvd. My wife and I always have and or get great food. People are always friendly. They try to upscale but are not pushy. It's a good place to do guisness.

I'm evaluating two items. I love their tacos better than anywhere I have ever ordered tacos. I feel like they take pride in their tacos. You can order any kind of meat and they stuff the taco full of fresh shredded lettuce topped with a little cheese. The chili rellenos are great also. I've never had better chili rellenos.

I think everyone is hard as into it but the quality of the food in the consistency is very lacking. The bacon can be extremely overcooked and hard as a rock or can be wrong when your mouth and you really don't know so after going to this place for two decades I just won't order anyting of their breakfast burrito anymore because you just never know what you're going to get. I'll order the carne asada supernaturals with extra jalapenos and that's always consistently good but anything on their breakfast burrito menu is just untrustworthy. At least the drives through services pretty quick. And the fact that they're open 24 hours is nice also. I have eaten everything on their menu and I would say the torta is good the nachos are good the breakfast burritos lack any consistency and quality so you never know what you're getting. The machaca burrito is very good but I would suggest ordering with no lettuce on it.

Pretty good food! I got the carne asada fries and they tasted great! The only setback for me was the prices, they are fairly hefty for the amount of food you get.

I should've taken pics of my super carnitas burrito... It was impressive. The carnitas was a little dry and rough, instead of moist and tender like I prefer, and their flavors -not enough cilantro & onion, in my opinion. The customer service was good as was their establishment. I took notice to how clean it was here. All tables were clean/ the floor was spick and span!👍🏼 I liked that very much. I'll come back🙂

Good spot to stop by for some quick Mexican food. I liked the tortas as they're typically cheaper on the menu. Also enjoyed the asada fries. Would recommend giving Adalberto's a try.

They have excellent food. But their very high priced. Always check to make sure you have everything you ordered. Seems to get screwed up everytime I go there. Excellent late night hours and food is delicious!

Tried the California Burrito for $11.99 and it was pretty good. Id forgotten they add potatoes to this burrito, but tasted pretty good. Aiming to try the chili Relleno' burrito next time. I would recommend.

Went after a girls high school basketball game! Smashed some carne asada fries, a super burrito, some fish tacos and an abodaba plate I believe #16? Absolutely delicious and flavorful! Loved the self-serve chip bar with multiple salsas to choose from! Staff was friendly and attentive.

We have only ordered through the drive thru and we typically get Caritas Super Nachos, Carne Asada Fries and/or burritos. Portions are good. The Carne Asada fries are just ok, the fries are similar to McDonald's and are usually limp not crispy. Ive had better versions at other places. But the Super Nachos have always been good and you get a really good portion. The burritos are also good with good portions. And they will give you extra salsa if you ask for them

I always get a breakfast burrito and quality is getting more hit and miss. Hot sauce hasn't been included or offered in last couple trips. Their delicious house hot sauce is never offered unless specially asked for. The burrito itself is getting more times of unmelted cheese and limp bacon which is disappointing because prices keep going up. Portion is still the right size and flavors are solid.

Merry Christmas!!!! I was SO HAPPY that they were open as I have been craving their chicken super nachos, which is always delicious. My fiance ordered a asada torta and asked for extra asada. It had just one thin slice of asada, without much flavor. We paid over $30 for a torta, a nacho and two drinks. Horchata is yummy!!!!! Lady working was very friendly. Carolinas is better, carne asada here is always chewy, lacks flavor, must use salsa or most of everything is dry. Hit the taco trucks that have way better tasting food.

went through the drive-through and ordered one ground beef supreme burrito. One ground beef crunchy taco asked to wrap it separately so it would get soft by the time I got home, and a ground beef enchilada and charge me $26 I asked why it cost so much and she said because of tax got home the taco and the enchiladas were wrong kind of meat. Called to complain About how specific I was on ordering my meal and got something totally different. The same girl that took my order hung up on me twice so then I went in to the restaurant myself nobody spoke English so then I was directed on the telephone with the manager which she refunded me $10 not even a half of what the meal cost me and I didn’t eat the beans or the rice. This is my second time that I was let down by this place. If you plan on eating this Make sure you check what’s in your bag before you leave lesson learned.

Normally not a guy who reviews but this food was extremely disappointing. Got a quesadilla that, while giant, was thoroughly soggy and not fully cooked. Also asked they make sure there was absolutely no spice to it as it makes me have slight difficulty with breathing. And what do I see? Flecks of pepper everywhere and some real heat to this thing. Definitely won't be coming back, which is a shame since it's so close to work.

What I got was very little egg and bacon and tons of french fries instead of fresh potatoes. When I tried to reheat the leftovers - I was even worse the next day. Had to throw it away. Meh. Just meh. The best part was the cucumbers at the chip bar. My tostada was low cheese, sprinkling of meat and so plain. And was very cold inside the cafe. Not stoop here again, probably. I’m so mad that I just spent almost $15 on a plane and boring tostada. They look nothing like a picture and I also bought a small soda for $2.79. It was only able to fill it up twice making it feel like I just bought two sodas for $1.50 and feeling ripped off

Terrible guacamole quesodilla at 11:30pm. Ordered from doordash, barely any guacamole and incredibly thin amounts of cheese. The tortilla was cooked enough so the cheese would melt by had absolutely no crunch or char. Terrible location. I will be ordering from another in perpetuity.

When I ordered I had to repeat myself 3 times to be understood. Then the man behind the counter took my debit card and disappeared for 5 minutes which made me feel very uncomfortable. To top it off my torta was burnt and the chicken on my taco rolls tasted old.

Do not waste your time and money coming here!!!! Literally one of the worst burrito and salsa I've ever had. The green salsa had a very unpleasant bitter taste and the red just tasted like tomato sauce.

I have no idea if the food was good, placed my order, there were two people in front of me at drive thru, 20 minutes later I left there were still the same two people in front of me at the drive thru, they hadn't gotten their orders yet and I didn't know how long they were waiting before I pulled up and placed my order.

This place has gone down hill. Over $7 for a breakfast burrito with four items and they left out one of the ingredients. Big chunks of gross ham on one side and a little bit of runny egg and cheese in the other. They don't even scramble the items together, it was bad enough that I tossed it. When I called, doesn't seem like they care. They didn't offer to replace it, I would've brought it back to get a better one but they didn't even offer. No more Carolina's for me.

I used to live down the street from this location and up until today, this was my favorite one. I now live 40 minutes away but I made the trip for a special treat today. I ordered two California burritos and I replaced the meat for rice. I double and triple checked that these were as ordered with the person at the window and tipped well for the special request. Not only were these NOT California burritos...they had meat and extra rice! Luckily I cut them in half to share where as normally I would have just bitten into one like a normal person. Now I am 40 minutes away with food I can not eat...

Most adalbertos are good but avoid this one at all costs. Stale food. Just terrible. Every time I go I think maybe this time will be better but nope. Idk what it is this location is just terrible. Given wrong order multiple times. And the food is just disappointing compared to other locations. There employee turn over rate is crazy too always new people that seem very unhappy working there.

Unfortunately our food was not as expected. Today, I purchased a California Burrito for my boss, his usual... it was cold and OLD! We work only one block away so what he received was straight from their drive thru window. I have never purchased "fresh" food that was clearly not fresh. The cheese was not even melted. When he called the office they responded the reason it was cold was from the Pico de Gallo, understandably we have cold spots from pico at times but it has never affected the entire burrito. They could care less. as neighbors, we wont be coming back here again. Where else is a good burrito spot around here?

I’ve never had a quesadilla in my life made with American yellow cheese — and that’s exactly what they served here. Kraft slices melted on a quesadilla? That’s not Mexican food, that’s a joke. If you’re looking for real Mexican cuisine, don’t waste your money here. It’s awful.

I’ve been coming here since highschoold and I’ve always loved this place, but, where’s the eggs at Aldalbertos?????? I get there is a price hike on eggs, but you guys are jipping us on eggs, and charging us way more than you used to. This is all ham mixed with probably one egg and cheese. We are noticing this, it’s happens in your “egg, cheese, bacon and potato burritos too. This is ridiculous. I’m so frustrated, I don’t want just ham for breakfast.

I asked for the breakfast plate it’s on the menu they hand me a burrito I told the cashier I ordered the plate and the cashier told me they don’t serve a breakfast plate I told him I know you do I see it on the menu he got the manager and the manager says “you said breakfast burrito” like ight bro glad I tipped to receive the wrong order and for you to tell me first that it doesn’t exist and second that I said the wrong thing just tell me you won’t replace it and charge me for the food I actually wanted won’t be going there again. :(

I don’t understand why there’s a bunch of locations with this place. The food is EXTREMELY bland and boring. Salsa is nothing to write home about. My chicken burrito was full of chicken with tendons and cartilage still attached. Nasty as heck. Go to literally any other Mexican joint for better food. Done patronizing this business.

I went to this place twice, first experience was ok. The food was awesome. Then I came back on 1/31/2026. This is a drive thru very convenient. I ordered the same food I ordered the first time: 1 Chile verde plate and 1 beef crispy tacos, I get to the window and the cashier said bill is $45!!! What!?!? For a chile verde plate and a crispy taco??? She said "oh I thought you said 5 tacos" ah hello I cannot eat 5 tacos I only need one crispy taco. Does one sound five to you? I did not say that to her. Then she said bill is $21 and change ok, I gave her my card. I signed the receipt gave her $4 tip total bill should be $24.73 I asked for the receipt. I came home and ate. Three days later the charge on my card from this Adalbertos is $24.91 and another charge for $24.73, wow, swiped my card twice?? I was mad, I filed a dispute with my card company, sent my receipt. I am still furious, I never dispute transactions because merchajts are honest, apparently not this one. My card company said it takes 60 days to investigate. What an inconvenience. Very disappointed. Dishonest merchants have no right to operate a business.

This is the fifth time I've gotten Carne Asada Fries, and the fries were cold, and tasted like they were made a long time ago. I'm the past, I've just dealt with it, and been disappointed in my food. This time, the fries were so cold and gross, I left my house just mere seconds after arriving to get my money back. By the way, my house is within 2 minute drive. Not a chance of they actually cooked this fresh out would be stone cold by the time i got home. Of course they will only refund the amount of the fries, not the additional tip I left. I will absolutely never give them another cent of my hard earned money. Worst ever. Would give them less than 1 star if I could.

If I could give 0 stars I would. When i tell you the chicken burrito had nothing but sour cream and cheese and beans there was barely any chicken and it wasn’t very flavorful. They charge almost 15 for a super burrito and although portion size is good. Food quality is horrible.

I used to love this place, went there to order 3 street Carne Asada tacos with cilantro and onions with guacamole added to them, with a side of rice and beans and Limes. They said it cost $33 plus for this , the tacos are 3.25 each. How is that $33. Absolutely robbing people!

We received the incorrect orders twice in a row. Their Shrimp Tacos are DELICIOUS. We ordered four today and when we got home, they were BEEF tacos. The receipt does say shrimp tacos. Last Friday night we ordered Chips and Guacamole and got Carne Asada fries. Nice drive thru staff. However, there is def some sort of communication issue in the process. And they charge an ATM fee and we did not use a ATM card.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I usually enjoy Aldiberto’s, but this time was really disappointing. I ordered through DoorDash, and the menu only gave me the options of chicken, beef, or veggie — I wanted carnitas. I paid $23 for this plate and ended up with shredded beef and bell peppers, which wasn’t what I wanted at all. When I called, the person I spoke to said they couldn’t make an accommodation because they couldn’t upcharge me — even though I’m a regular customer and already paying a premium for the meal. At that point, I was frustrated. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I ordered, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. I won’t be DoorDashing from here again. I honestly think it's this location. I would say go to Taco Express instead....all the doordash comments show they are lazy but we are being upcharged.

I go to this restaurant regularly for breakfast/lunch, but that is going to change starting now. I was eating my breakfast burrito and a quarter of the way through I took a bite and felt something sharp that cut my inner cheek. I spat out the bite and searched it thoroughly and found some type of blade in the burrito. All beware of this restaurant as it seems quality and safety for their patrons isn't in their policies.

Ordered street tacos went well…. “Flan” was moldy and I had to drive back to show the woman that it’s gone bad, at first she refused and denied / soon as I mentioned FDA or post online she got her act together!! Spent 40 dollars on 2 burritos and 2 drinks and this is what they gave me. Absolutely trash customer service and theyll overcharge you and apparently give you less food. Rocklins location has never once done this. 100% do not waste your time waiting in the 20 minute plus line here, Rocklins location never has a line and is only 10 minutes away. The menu here is also more restricted, as they do not serve extra large anything. All in all, this place sucks.
