Fresh and clean. The back area looks very well kept and the vegetables look and taste fresh. I am highly impressed by the crispy taco and regular taco. Carnitias is cooked perfectly! Tacos between $3-$5 each

Los Gordos has become a regular establishment for myself and my wife. They have some of the best Mexican food in the area at a GREAT price! I have tried several items, and I am never disappointed. The green enchiladas are my favorite, though. The green sauce is robust and flavorful. Besides the food, they have the friendliest, most efficient, customer service that I have seen in a long time. No matter who it is or when we go in, the cashier/servers are always in a great mood, and the food comes out extremely fast. I highly recommend Los Gordos to anyone in Sacramento looking for good Mexican food at a good price!

When you order a jumbo burrito they don't play. Whatever you thought was a normal portion of meat does not exist here. They put a whole entire half of a pig in my burrito somehow and I'm not sure how they profited but I'm scared to ask. 10/10

The food and service here are great, but my favorite thing about visiting Los Gordos is the community. The staff has a loyal clientele. It's like everyone is just popping over to their friend's kitchen for a bite to eat and a chin wag.

I ordered this off of DoorDash just to try something new, and I was amazed at how delicious it was! My husband has been looking all over for some good carnitas tacos, and now he is in love with this restaurant! Will be coming/ordering from here more often! Great prices and great food!

Los Gordos is a regular stop for my partner and I (sometimes the kids). They have the best food, the best service, and the best atmosphere. I'm relaxed there and don't feel rushed. Everyone that works there is amazing and I feel welcomed each time I come in. Los Gordos will always be a place in my book.

I had the fish taco and Chile relleno! The fish taco was excellent and beyond expectation! The fish was very fresh, the sauce was so good! The chille relleno was superb and very fresh! It didnt taste like any other mexican food place I've eaten before! My new favorite! Cant wait to try other items on the menu!

If you’re in the area and you’ve never tried this place, then you’re missing out! The food here is delicious. Grab some Tacos. Grab a Plate. Grab some chips and salsa ( Thank me later 😂) Every thing here is always fresh and piping hot 🔥The portions are always generous. And you can’t beat it for the price. Other places in town are charging way more for their food. And it is not as savory, tender, chopped up right and mixed with the right ingredients. Their Spanish Rice inside the burritos are so delicious 🤤 I’ve been to a ton of places all over this state. I’ve even been to 5 star & Michelin Rated places such as Nixs tacos out in Roseville… ( which i’d never go back to ). Only places like Modesto, Turlock, los banos has Mexican food this delicious Until you get farther down south and into LA and San Diego! Come give it a try! You will not be disappointed!

Every time I come here the food is amazing and the employees are very friendly. The tables are clean and the wait time isn't too bad. If you haven't tried this place out yet, I highly recommend giving them a try.

Went to lunch with my parents here. Very impressive! I had the combo meal with a chili relleno. And a chicken taco. It was great! My mom had the gazpacho. Very good. Neef to back to try more stuff. Very friendly staff too.

First time here. The young lady working the front was an absolute sweetheart. I ordered the 2 enchiladas with red sauce and it was so good. My husband ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito even though they stopped serving breakfast at noon they said no worries we will still make it for you. Chips and salsa was very good. I would highly recommend this place. We enjoyed it.

I loved the hole-in-the-wall vibe and it seemed easy to get to as well as having a nice area to park. I wanted to try the Chilaquiles, but my cousin ordered for all 5 of us, Menudo, while her son got the Asada plate. The broth, tripe and I forget if it had hominy or not, but I remember it had great flavor, and comes with all the expected trimmings and side tortillas. I made a point to try my younger cousins rice off of his Asada plate and indeed the rice was really good. Inside the decor is not memorable and I felt it was a bit humid. They have micheladas, and domestic and import bottle beers. Overall this place was really good and I would come back just for the Menudo.

I just moved back to Riverside County a couple weeks ago, and right before I did, I made it a point to eat there one last time.

I had the steak rancheros and it was delicious the steak was tender, tasty and fresh . The customer service was fabulous a perfect place to eat, get full and have leftovers. Will come back

I honestly love their food and how kind they always are on the phone. The portions are great, they always give you utensils and napkins for your to go orders (I know this is weird to mention but some places just don’t!) and their stuff is always fresh and yummy. They have an amazing huge menu up on the wall next to the cashier, with pictures of every dish; so helpful! I honestly haven’t gotten one bad thing from here.

The food is good. The service is excellent! I don't ask for much when I go out to eat, but that I get food that tastes good and is a great value. Los Gordos fulfills both those criteria and more. The selection of meals is wide and reasonably priced. I also love coming here because the staff is so nice. My family and I have been a handful of times and every time they've remembered us and treated us as if we were special guests everytime. This is my version of a good Mexican restaurant: a little hole in the wall with great food, great drinks and very friendly people.

I ate here around 3:30 pm on a Sunday. The noise level was unbelievable. 🤣 I was the only person in the restaurant, and from the kitchen, Mexican music was blasting so loudly that I had to shout my order. While I was there, several people dropped in who obviously knew the staff, because they were shouting and laughing over the music. The woman behind the counter has a lovely personality but her laugh is so loud and high-pitched, it would explode crystal glasses. 🥳😂 My order was taken at the counter. I ordered a Chile Verde chimichanga without rice, and I posted photos. It was huge! It came with Mexican cream, some guac, salsa, and that green salsa that I'm not too keen on. The food wasn't really seasoned, and they don't have hot sauce. Is suggest bringing your own favorite hot sauce, then you'll be set, because the food is ok. I finished off with a flan. I love good flan. It's the characteristic flavor from the caramelized sugar, but this flan had none of the flavors I associate with Mexican flan. So if you're thinking you'd like flan, bring some caramel sauce. Overall, I liked this place because their food is plentiful and inexpensive, the staff are really friendly, and the noise level might be crazy but it's friendly. I'll be back.

A note in Los Gordos favor - most of the other customers were Mexican guys getting off work. They seemed to like the food!

Breakfast burritos were absolutely terrible!! No flavor, beans and rice but I couldn’t even tell there were supposed to be eggs in there. Husband got chorizo and eggs and again, no eggs. Beans were more like soup and both meals were nearly inedible. I was super disappointed by this because the reviews were so promising.

Disappointed after the reviews I had read. Starters the counter help seemed very disinterested, she missed my daughter's drink order. Portions were good but food lacked any seasoning whatsoever. Had the relleno and enchilada plate and a beef crispy taco. Most likely won't try again.

Not terrible, but definitely not something to get excited over. Food has very little taste; well cooked, but just add seasoning 🙏🙏
