Our favorite Panda location out of all of them. Don’t listen to the reviews telling you not to come here because of “dry food” or people who are complaining about the fact that they ask for a donation to their charity. The food is delicious and fresh every time we order and the staff is so incredibly nice. I have watched them move a 20 person line in about 10 minutes on several occasion. These people are hard workers and they care about the quality of service they give. Great location and great employees.
Always friendly service. Always tasty food. I get the 26 oz of teriyaki chicken and that gives me about 160 grams of protein.

This Panda Express in the Sacramento area is hands down one of the best I’ve ever visited! I’m giving them a full five stars because the experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with genuine respect and kindness. The staff went above and beyond, even giving me extra food when I asked—such an appreciative and attentive employee, though I wish I caught their name! If you’re near Birdcage, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I come here way more than I like to admit! They are my guilty pleasure! Their food is always fresh and well seasoned! The food melts in your mouth! I am a panda fanatic! But this location is by far my favorite! The restaurant is always so clean and the staff is on it! They are quick and efficient and do not rob you of the portions! I recommend this location to any and every body! I wish they were open longer but I am a night owl so I like to eat late! I do wish this location had to pot stickers some locations do and this one doesn't but their service and food make up for it!
Too long line. Food soggy, not crispy, servers too stressed out because not enough workers, nobody smiles. They need more ppl working to give faster service.
Very tasty and always crowded... does it means popular? Or popular, good, and good prices? There are different opinions... and tastes. Someone mentioned: “Young Chinese descendants said this food is not like home; some old Chinese people said this is gourmet food” What do you think?
It is located just off of Sunrise and is easily spotted from the road. There is seating inside and out. They have umbrellas outside to help with the summer heat. I was disappointed when they advised me that they stopped serving the fried rice and at the time they were out of white rice. It is still shown on their menu as being an item hence the ding of one star. The food is good and quality is as well unless the serving bowl is near the end and it can get dried out or overcooked especially at off peak mealtimes. So take a good look if near bottom of bowl and ask for fresh. It only takes a few minutes typically as it usually in process.
So tonight I got a bowl with brown rice and orange chicken to go. I was disappointed with how little they put in the bowl! The pictures on Panda Express’s website show them nice and full, and for the price that’s what I expect! (The pic I posted shows the bowl after I ate only two small bites.)
Guys, is it even legal to cook rice this badly? I once ordered grilled chicken from you (at a different location), or however it's prepared, and it was delicious. Now it's nothing special, and the rice... well, I'm throwing away almost a full box, it's inedible, it's dry, and the vegetables are awful.
Good service but they can't cook. Rice, noodles are worse i ate in all pandas
There was a problem with my app and the order got placed to the wrong location causing me to drive 30 minutes out of my way when I finally made it there I asked if the food could be made fresh and they refused, waste of money.
Nice staff, clean restaurant, but please Panda Express can you stop begging for donations on your purchase screen??? Inflation through the roof, everyone begging for tips, other stores asking for donations also!! people trying to survive and you're asking for donations! Doesn't matter what cause! Donate it from your profits! Don't be asking your customers to pay on top of already extemeley high prices!! I misunderstood your worker with accent and they charged me for donation!
Husband went in and ordered food, during said order my husband specifically stated half chowmein and half fried rice. The lady did not understand him and proceeded to place just rice, then took it out and placed just noodles. After the third of this, he had asked if they did half and half still. The lady responded they did and corrected it to half and half. My husband moved on to my entrees, the next lady had proceeded to give a small portion of teriyaki chicken. When inquiring about why the portion was so small, when any other time it has been significantly larger. They explained this was the way they’d always done this. Frustrated, my husband moved on and they asked if he’d like any sauce with this. Under the assumption that if you order teriyaki chicken, it should come with the sauce. Right? Wrong. Not only did they not place any sauce but they did not place the chopsticks my husband asked for in the bag. When going back in to retrieve said items. The employees were super dismissive and disrespectful. Asking him if he had taken these items out of the bag before coming in to get more. I will be contacting corporate, this is in no way how you conduct a business.
After seeing the server serving very small portions of food to customer's I turned around and left. Will visit different panda express
This afternoon I went to buy my panda express as always, the only bad thing is that the manager who was there at 2 in the afternoon always made a racist face. I think she shouldn't treat people as they look and it's not the first time she treats me like this. I hope they take
I would not recommend going to this location. They are the rudest people you will ever meet I went in and ordered my food. I repeated it quite a few times. Even when I checked out. I repeated it to the lady quite a few times because she asked me what I had ordered They rang me up. I went home. I realized they forgot one item and I went back and asked to talk to their manager cuz this has happened a few times in the past they said we're going to need me to wait. We need to check the cameras. I was like you know the food's going to get cold. Can you just give me the item you forgot they go No we have to watch the cameras then they come back and say ma'am you never ordered that. They shows me the receipt and I said but I repeated it multiple times to this lady. This is your mistake and at this point I just want to return the food and she's like why just buy the extra item I said how much is that. She basically tells me it would $10 for just some fried rice I believe fried rice is only like $5.60 there and I was like that doesn't make any sense I get this all the time. It does not come out to that amount she goes. Oh it's because you got the shrimp that has nothing to do with ordering fried rice. basically blaming me that I never ordered it but I repeated it multiple times when I checked out. So at this point the food's cold and I'm like I just want to return it. They didn't want to return it. They just wanted me to buy it. At this point I do not want it so the lady yells at me says you're not going to talk to my employees this way all I wanted was a refund. They were refusing at first I could totally understand if it was my fault, but this was not my mistake because I repeated it multiple times to make sure that it was correct if a customer wants a refund it shouldn't even matter why you should just give them their refund if they didn't touch the food. I would not recommend going here. They are very rude.
What is the point for ordering pick up when standing in a big line would be faster service. I literally was standing in the pickup line waiting for my order when I saw the staff scan the receipt which gave me a text message that the order was ready but she didn't even start working on my order until 10 min later. I ordered 7:45, in the app said that my order will be ready at 8:03, got my order done by 8:11. If you want to get the food asap stand in the line rather than ordering online.
There seems to be a competition at all Panda Express locations to see who can get away with serving the least amount of food, and getting away with it! The portion of chow mein was 1/4th of the large section on my plate, and the broccoli beef was 3 tiny pieces of broccoli and 3 little cuts of beef! Food was NOT fresh!
I think Panda Express has problems with the cooks and staff. I used to eat at this restaurant almost every day, I won't anymore. The food became bad and tasteless. The staff is indifferent to customers. Today I ordered, Super Green and rice... The vegetables looked like they were prepared from waste, like for animals on a farm. The rice was very burnt. This happens in almost every Panda now. Until the quality changes, I won’t come to Panda anymore.
How did they get plastic bag in the white rice? See pics! Went in today at around 5pm. Place was busy with everyone getting take out. People were angry, felt sorry for the staff but there were like 15 people behind the counter so... Food was bad, order was wrong and to top it off, there was plastic bag in my white steamed rice. I've been in the F&B industry for over 30 years. I wouldn't be as surprised to see clear plastic in the white rice, but the cut out from a bulk of white plastic to go bags? How did you guys pull this one off? Beef and Broccoli was horrid, they gave me the end of the last meat (obviously) and since they were slammed threw new raw broccoli in at the switch out. If I was expecting raw broccoli that would be fine but that's not what I ordered. The beef was mostly un- chewable with tons of gristle and yes it was overcooked from being the last of the barrel. Worried that the chicken was raw. The steamed rice was good except for the plastic part. Hope I didn't eat some already, seriously! I only caught it because I was so attentive at how bad it all was. This is from a large bulk of commercial plastic bags, so no I did not add this on my own! Oh first off my side of chow main for the kid was some spicy peanut dish. At least my wife got to eat. Never again. I mean, the only way to win at these places is to check everything with a fine tooth comb at the location before leaving and preferably paying.. Let's face it. It's fast junk food posed as "healthier" food. Just get a steamer, save your money and your heath, eat at home. The kids at the counter were nice.
You order a LARGE entree with your family meal you expect a large entree. Not only that, but it was the honey walnut shrimp, I paid the extra premium price. I got a medium size in a large box. Asked the guy at the counter, he said you get 20 peices, asked to speak to a manager, she said you get 20 peices, it's always been that way. Sorry, We have been eating at this panda about once every 2 or 3 months for the last 4 years we have lived in Citrus Heights. Don't lie to my face, at least make it real. Say you have rising food costs or whatever, it has not always been that way. We always get a full container. And not only did I pay $15 for a medium size entree, if you were just honest, I would have paid more for a full container! This is the only thing from panda my 7 year old will eat, so no one else got to have any. I will be contacting weights and measures about this, you cannot advertise a large, charge me for a large and then give me a medium.
