Their grilled meats are very tasty!! 😊 Ample parking and the service is very special, I recommend trying their corn bread served with ice cream!
Excellent ambiance and food. The chou-fleur was amazing and the Pastor negro.. uff best ever!!!
It's a peaceful place to visit with the family. Pleasant background music and sports on the screens. They follow all the hygiene protocols established during this pandemic. A variety of dishes and drinks are available. The service is prompt and the waiters are friendly. The restrooms are very clean. A great option for lunch or dinner.

I have traveled many times to Monterrey on business, but this time I asked my wife to join me. I took her to La Palapa to enjoy a local lunch experience. We had a great experience and will recommend this restaurant to our business colleagues. By the way, the upgrades to this restaurant 3 years ago are outstanding. Very good place to eat, cheap and with friendly and professional staff.
✅Pros: -The meat was super delicious and tender (arrachera, T-bone, and flechita) -Everything was piping hot -It's not as expensive as you might think (keep it up!) ❌Cons: -It was incredibly hot -The charro beans tasted way too garlicky (they're practically inedible if you don't add enough lime and salsa) -The parking lot is a nightmare when the bank is full
It has a good location, a nice family atmosphere, tasty drinks, and friendly service that makes you want to return. Personally, I think the food could use a little more seasoning, but it has great potential as a restaurant.

Ordered enchiladas suizas, they were good but would have liked to have more cheese and green sauce. Food was served hot and timely.

The beans are flavorless and the cheese is of very poor quality, better go to Los Fresnos
Came with family frijoles were agrios. Trompo not much flavor asada and bistek were good. Tuetano didn’t diliver much over cooked and dry. You pay for the ambiance food over priced
If you're just looking for a bite to eat and aren't in a hurry, this is the place. However, when I visited this branch with my colleagues, the service was incredibly slow, the food took forever to arrive, they got the drinks wrong, and the steak seemed undercooked. Everything could be improved, but I wouldn't recommend another visit.
We ordered delivery and the portions we received didn't match the price. The presentation was unappetizing, and the taste only confirmed it. There are few breakfast options in downtown Apodaca, and La Palapa is definitely not one of them. Over $500 for an order of tacos, "eggs with ham," and "pancakes"
DINNER RUINERS!!!! I ordered the guacamole dish for delivery (includes butter gorditas and tortillas)... Only the avocado arrived... but they charged me $137 for it... I called the restaurant and what they told me was that they were out of gorditas... but they charged me for it... instead of not charging me... or instead, they could have compensated me with another dish!!!... and they didn't send me a dish as compensation... anyway... lack of employee ethics... this restaurant neglects the ethics of its people...
