I had I think their #3 and oh my God! It was truly amazing. It was the western BBQ burger. I love BBQ and this meal was truly awesome. For all you BBQ lovers out there like me.

The good was perfect as always. Fast service. And the manager was very helpful with correcting a small mistake. There service is great. I'll return and recomend the clearlake Carls Jr.

Had three $5 meal deals for eat in service. There was no one else in the place. The two chicken strips ordered both came with barely lukewarm fries but the store replaced them with fresh when asked to do so. The chicken strips are more the size of chicken nuggets. It's always hit and miss with this place.

Easily the best fast food in the area but is shockingly expensive. You're looking at around $15 per person. I wouldn't recommend their shakes though.

Carl's Jr. Is probably one of the better fast food places around here, though expensive, their all star meals are a great bang for your buck, 6$ you get 2 burgers, fries, a cookie, and a drink. Food also tastes wonderful! Much better than the local McDonalds

Hot fast and fresh! The employees are usually very nice and the burgers are delicious! I have not really ever had much of a wait time any time I have gone through the drive through. I would definitly recommend to my friends and family.

The best best hamburgers for fast food in Clearlake, CA. The service is usually friendly and fast service. The food is a tiny bit higher than other fast food places, but the burgers are bigger and tastes so much better that's it's well worth it. They have a wide selection and even have a "Green burrito" inside. I have never tried the Green Burrito even though it looks great and I hear it is good, I just love the burgers there so much that it's what I always order. You just can't go wrong at Carl's Jr.

This place is everything a customer wants from a fast food place. Customer service is excellent - always - don't matter who service you.... Food is always deliciously fresh and hot... Clean and neat environment... ....and what else can I say - it's my Mom's, my Fiance's and my Favorite place to go for delicious burgers and fries that are fresh and piping hot.

Better than Jack out of Box

The folks working here are always smiling and happy even though they do seem to be stressed from being understaffed. Going through the drive-thru line does not take very long compared to taco Bell in the same town.

The biscuits are hot and super fresh. The staff were friendly. They drive through was slower than it seemed it should be. But the quality made up for it.

It's still fast food but Carl's seems to be either faster or less popular, because I rarely have much of a wait .

Western bacon cheese burger was excellent. The lady behind the counter had some serious issues with staying focused. Appeared to be high in my opinion.

If im not in a rush i rell them to make my order fresh. Also request no salt on your fries guarantees them to be hot n fresh.

Carl's Jr. is 1 of my Favorite Fast Food places to eat. Unfortunately, they are outrageously over priced! For what they charge per meal (let's say average cost being $15) you can Literally go to the nearest Safeway, buy the hamburger and make the Burgers yourself for 3 ppl instead of 1. Granted I guess you're also paying that extra $10/person for the convenience of not having to make it yourself.

They moved to a better quality beef and I don't feel sick after eating them like I do at Mac's. One hot summer day I walked in and on the counter was a big red bin full of ice and genuine Coco Cola in the glass bottles. It took a bottle opener to open them. Someone remembered how good it used to be and took the time to recreate that feeling. I was surprised at the changes that Carl's Jr has made and have had some good meals since I discovered this.

Make sure you check your order if you go through the drive-thru. Ordered a beyond famous star with cheese and no ketchup or tomato. Got it without cheese and ketchup and tomato. Even charged me extra for cheese. And these people want 15 bucks an hour?

We went through the drive through. The guy who took our order was VERY nice, very friendly, and very courteous. However, he may have been high as I repeated that I needed four famous star meals three times. After we figured out that an order was missing, we informed him and he let us know that he only had us down for three. And, we had to drive BACK through to order it again lol! In addition, they were out of ketchup! What?! It was more comical than annoying. But, I can see how some people might have become enraged lol! But the guy was just so darn nice. And, as usual, the food was the best fast food you can find.

I go to Clearlake Carl's jr because they have the meal deals. Upperlake doesn't have the deals. And every time I go there the order's wrong. This last time we were at Clearlake I ordered 2 BBQ chicken sands and Xtra BBQ sauce + cheese. I got a plain chicken sandwich. No sauce or cheese. Paid 42.00 and wrong order.

Pretty good place to get a breakfast burrito, if you're in a hurry. They have some magical chemical concoction they spray on their meat that makes it taste grilled. I'm sure I'll get cancer from it, but it's delicious. I recommend you only eat here occasionally, otherwise you'll surly die.

Foods usually always good, fries are another story, sometimes fresh most times mediocre. Service at night is sometimes meh, Morning ppl r usually better. Fact is its gonna take 5 to 15 mins at times. But truth, their burgers are bigger then McD & Jack. McD is unreliable to be open like advertised (24hrs), Jack is cheaper than Carl's but not by much and their size of the sandwiches are NOT worth the price. Carl's is almost always open 24hrs. Plus Broiled burgers are great.

Extremely high prices that keep going higher. 3. Employees who hate their lives (and therefore their jobs) and do not take pride In What they do for a living. This results in sloppy sandwiches and angry humans. I do not like dealing with sloppy sandwiches or angry humans. 4. They are no longer “fast”… any time that you save ordering food from a fast food restaurant is lost when you die years earlier from diabetes, obesity and other health-problems related to eating food that is HORRIBLE for you and full of preservatives, sodium, fats and processed sugars.

Their fryers need to be changed out more then once. Tasted more burnt onions then fries in my order. And I ordered waffle chips. Ug I loved the customer service and attitude of the workers. Wonderful.

Then I asked the fella at the counter again if he could check with someone. He immediately stopped what he was doing and asked the line cook who I had just spoke with. 2 stars because that's what we ordered. "Famous." They were good. No complaints about the food. 1 star because the young fella at the counter that was also managing the drive through orders this evening, was a star! He is quick and has good social skills. The manager that also was the line cook was good at the food side but lacked patience and good common sense. Assuming he is not deaf and was not wearing ear plugs.

The person who took my order must have been angry, short and told me that they were out of what I wanted. paid $40 for a meal for two and they could not even put whipped cream on top of our milkshakes. No smiles no thank you no nothing just pay and go.

This is the second time I came threw drive thru and ordered the new blt Angus thick burger and got the chicken one instead. I clearly said blt ANGUS THICK BURGER but didn't get it yet again

What a sloppy, thrown together sandwich! Even if it is fast food or closing time, I would have hoped for someone to take a little initiative towards their job.

Soooo hit and miss. The only time it's on point is when the female manager is there on days. I got a grilled chicken burrito with extra chicken , there was literally 3 prices of chicken in it, and the rice was so overcooked and old itwas paste and had the consistency of refried beans.

Ordered the two for $6.99 burgers. Decided to order two medium fries to go with them. Total price? $15.76!!! They must be the most prized potatoes Idaho has ever produced.

Don't let the title "fast food" fool you. Doesn't matter if you go in, drive thru, or even if you're the only person there, you're going to wait a painful amount of time for your food. I've attempted going back multiple times thinking maybe it was just a bad day for them and each time was more painful than the time before.

Always out of something. I don't care if its slow at night, its wrong to work alone what if something happened. Its should be posted if you stop serving at a certain time for the public, so your employees don't take the wrath of the public when they order. No ice cream/ shakes etc after 11pm. Easy.

Cashier seemed uninterested in helping me. We ordered online and they gave our order away before we got there!! Then we had to sit and wait while the cashier called the store manager (because there wasn't one on duty) to get the okay for them to replace our food, and in the end we still only got an IOU!! Did I mention that was after the cashier told my friend that he expected us to call management and try to get the okay to have them replace our food... WHY!?!!

Wow, there was a hair in my husband’s burger, our “charbroiled” patties were not at all, they were soggy and looked like the defrosted it and tossed it in the bun, they were like warm and tasted about what I expect dog food tastes like. So disgusting.

The hand breaded chicken strips sucked I won't be ordering them again. They had chunks of extremely over cooked breading and no seasoning at all. overcook pieces and under cooked chicken.

Always a long wait in the drive through and you need to double check the order because it's wrong. It doesn't seem like they have enough people working there and the workers act very unprofessional. The only positive is that the food is hot when you get it.

STOLEN CARD !!!! I went through drive through this evening, I was tired and didn’t realize they didn’t give me my card or receipt until I got home. I froze my card through my app immediately then Tried calling the number that they had online only to discover the business phone number was disconnected or no longer in service is what the recording said. I went back and sure enough they had my card. I asked if the employees name was on the receipt, the young man said yes. I get home and check the receipt and the cashier name on the receipt says Carl’s. Tomorrow morning I’m calling the bank and corporate office to report the incident. The only reason I gave them 1 star review is because I had to to write this review.

Carl's jrs sucks claims to be open 24 hours but they don't serve breakfast until 4am what kind of stupid garbage is that? I don't want a burger at 3am I want breakfast.

Carl's Jr is on average a good restaurant, but this Carl's Jr in Clearlake, CA is terrible with many mistakes and poor customer service. Management is lazy and wont respond to problems. I had to contact the corporate office just to get a response. The prices on the menu board are not always the price you will be charged. I was told that the manager was too busy to fix the menu board prices over the last 5 days since my first complaint. The drive thru is also painfully slow. Any other fast food is faster than this place.

They don't know what they are doing. They end up throwing away more food than they make. Poorly ran establishment. And gave my order to someone else. Took 20 mins plus for a easy order. Good food, but with no clue what they are doing as a whole. It was sad to look at. I felt bad for them.

I'm at Carls jr. It's Friday night. Not one car in the drive-thru at 10:15pm. The fast food place across the street is packed. We pull up to Carls Jr. Window to order the employee says NOT hello, instead greets us with, I still have 25 minutes on lunch, Im on lunch. We said what? I'm on lunch. We ask, so we can't order. He says Im on lunch. I still have 25 minutes for lunch. We say ok and go to the fast-food joint across the street. Service there was efficient and friendly. Unlike Carls JR.

We had Carl’s Jr on 10/24/24 at 7:50 pm and the worst customer service we ever had the worker named Linda was completely rude and unprofessional and on top of that my mom caught food poisoning I highly suggest not going here

Food is delicious I handed the checker an extra 20 because I was sleeping dude gave me no change and insisted the register had no extra 20 even tho the receipt said 20 change. I didn't wanna bring it up he'd probably spit on my food Aldo got the order wrong too yall gotta do better

it seems to appear that my milk shake was slightly warm and i rather have it mount Everest cold, by my milk shake being warmish made my day go from great to mid and i very much don’t appreciate that especially when i have the munchies no bueno just ruined my high.!

Food is okay, but its just fast food. I just took home a guacamole burger with med fries and shake and one famous star burger med fries and shake, with tax bill came to 30.86 for two fast food burgers with medium fries and medium shakes. You can eat at many nice local sit down restaurants for less, and get better food. Sorry Carl's but I must vote with my feet your price gouging .

THIS RESTAURANT WILL STEAL YOUR INFORMATION IF YOU USE A CARD. I used my card here over a year ago 2 nights ago they started charging things to my card . Now my account is locked the card is locked in a safe as I definitely have camera footage proving my card and I where both home all night. Thanks for the huge inconvenience right before a major holiday weekend. I will be boycotting your place of business hope you enjoy the pickiting. I originally stopped going here because the staff is some of the rudest people on earth . Now they are thieves to .

March 21st: Payed >$9 for a Santa fe chicken wrapped in lettuce (with a bunch of bugs in it, on way out of town. (Upon opening item, there were a bunch of tiny bugs all over in the lettuce.) Throw item out and try to call restaurant. Phone number does not work. Upon getting back into town, go to Carl's Jr to tell them what happened. Show picture. Was offered a refund by (presumably manager), but me trying to be nice just said, "no, a replacement Santa fe chicken would be fine." He walks away. Another girl talks to (presumably manager) then eventually comes to register. I tell her what item. "$9+" she says. I repeated to her, confused, "$9?" She confirms, again asking for the $. I honestly didn't even know what to say, as I had gone in there just trying to rectify the gross bug incident in a calm manner, get a replacement (hopefully BUG FREE) item, because I'd preferred this place to McDonalds and didn't want to cause a stink and end up looking like some whole a** Karen. I was disappointed. No wonder this place is rarely busy. I get it now. LITERAL bugs in the food, and they couldn't care less. Who's running this place? I HATE writing negative reviews, but come on.

We came in late last night door was open it was 945pm. The older lady is already mad looking at her watch finally she comes over hella rude took the order wrong was mad because they were out of small cups so I asked for medium without a lid she smaller our cups to us. None of the employees seem like they wanted to work was told we had to leave because the lobby closed at 10 horrible service. It would be so much better hiring people who know & want to be there. I was surprised to get treated with such bad service and attitude with 3 younger girls.

They forgot fries in my mobile order. I came back to get them. I was super polite and explained the situation, but when I got to the window, the guy claimed that he bagged the order himself and that there were fries in my bag. I admit, there was a single fry in my bag, but no container. He ended up giving me fries, but I feel the attitude was unnecessary.

Whoever is working here on Tuesday feb3rd at 5;52 she was extremely rude. I asked her about coupons on the app she said she had no idea how to do that and they don’t use that here she said no one’s ever used the coupons on the app and I asked her if she can get someone who might be able to help us she said no she’s the only one here. I’ve worked in customer service before and an answer I would give is why don’t you go ahead pull up to the window we can figure it out together. I want to add no one was in line behind us so it was not super busy. I’m not sure the employees name but she definitely needs more training.

She rolled her eyes while telling me, I was supposed to tell her I had a coupon when I ordered then complained she had to redo the entire order. (I didn’t know) She then apologized to everyone in the drive thru who was in the vehicles behind us who were ordering when we got to the window because my grandmother was using a coupon. That we were taking forever “the people in front are using a coupon sorry they are taking so long” absolutely INSANE. Never experienced anything like this. She was rude throughout the entire transaction.
