First time at this Druther’s location. And I was not disappointed. Great food, great drinks, great vibe. Bartender was attentive and perfectly engaging and friendly. The building and grounds and outdoor seating/bar are top notch and so well done. Having music, cornhole and TV on top of everything is fantastic. Will definitely visit this location again!

Emily was fantastic! My wife and I both work in Customer service and we would both be proud to have Emily on our team. She was very informative. Very attentive with our 4 year old son. She also helped us sign up for the mug club. ….$150!?! “That seams steep”. She was not pushy, rather informative. She broke it down and showed the true value. She is clearly passionate about what she does and it shows! The word no was not in her vocabulary. Our son kindly asked if they have strawberry milk. It was not on the menu, yet she didn’t let that stop her. She was quick on her toes and thought outside the box and made it happen. This creative thinking is what today’s workforce needs. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! For this, we will be back. Thank you Emily : Chad and Family

I completely forgot to take a picture and demolished my food! I totally get why the Beer Cheese and Pretzels is a popular dish. It was absolutely amazing. We came here for a birthday celebration and I would definitely come back again. The Pork Belly Tacos were delicious as well! They also have a wide variety of drinks! Totally recommend!!

Had a party of 13, unfortunately their online reservation system doesn't allow for more than 8. I arrived early and they graciously accommodated us. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Their beer selection is wonderful and I had a seasonal Gumdrop one, delicious. The appetizers were great and very shareable. The meals came out all at the same time, were hot, and very tasty! Would recommend, will be back.

Very nice place and beautiful landscape. Inside dining and outside dining. There is also an outside bar that had live music. Behind the outside bar was an artificial turf area with corn hole. The food was very good.

I am a major Druthers fan and this location is fantastic. The food is bangin' and the building is very impressive with a modern rustic atmosphere. The service is superior 🙌 and I will certainly be back soon.

Mac n cheese… BOMB, but too much. There was enough for 2-3 people per serving… I liked it, it was different. Before and after pics… couldn’t finish it.

Tuesday happy hour is every hour. Live music on weekend nights. Shelter inside or breathe in some fresh air outside. Three bars and loads of seating, but make sure to reserve a table. It gets busy.

I typically go to my local Druthers in Schenectady, but found myself out of the area and needing my fix! The Druthers in Clifton Park is super cool! Love the barn style building, and the inside is HUGE! Staff was friendly and super tentative to the table. Food is always good at any Druthers! Will definitely come back in the future!

Love love love, super cozy atmosphere and just a great place to relax. We only had a few beers this time, but everything was excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic beers, oversized food portions, friendly and helpful staff. Don't (or do?) order a mega grilled cheese and the mac and cheese and expect to split between two regular-hungry people. Either would have been enough! Stellar flavors though, I have no regrets and would do it again.

Only 20 min wait to be seated. Really pretty inside. Service was great. Food was delicious! Our first time there, we will definitely go back!

This druthers is by far the nicest of the three. So much seating outside with self serve tables as well. Drinks were really good, they had 4-6 corn hole set ups to play with friends while you enjoy some good food and good beer. The outside bar is a good size and looks nice it was pretty crowded but didn’t take long to get a drink.

We stumbled upon this place while staying at a local hotel for a quick 1 night stop. We did not eat or drink here as we had already ate. But we walked through and this place looks incredible. Wish we had a place like this where we lived. Indoor and Outdoor seating. Good vibe kind of place and a huge corn hole area. So Fun.

This place was very amazing. We had a reservation for 35. They were able to accommodate us to perfection with separate checks per family. Amazing! The pretzels with the beer cheese was amazing! The cheese sauce was thick and delicious! They had cider on tap! That’s my favorite! I had a burger and I was nervous about the pickled onions but it was so incredibly flavorful! Loved the live music, outside bar, and corn hole. Lots of parking….what’s not to like about this place. If we lived closer I would be here often. Sorry to say we are hours away. Bravo to this place, it’s truly magical!

“Silenzi, Bruno” Pilsner was very good. Swordfish tacos were also very good. Great service. I would definitely come back.

This place was spectacular. The ambiance alone reminds you of an Adirondack resort. The wait was long, but we sat in the beautiful rock garden and had a few drinks from their outdoor bar. The place has just opened last month, so kinks still have to be ironed out which is understandable. The food was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely ne returning.

We were up visiting some friends who brought us here on our way to the airport. I was expecting decent food and beer. What we got was a very positive, spunky and great attitude from Ella our server. The food and beer both turned out great but we all loved Ella’s positivity and just all around pleasant attitude. Even if the food came out just ok you would have gotten five stars from me just because of her. People don’t talk or act like that anymore and it was a great experience!

A really fun visit with friends for dinner on Saturday night. The wait time ended up shorter than the hour or so we were quoted, and flew by while we enjoyed beers in their garden and Cornhole. Beers were good, food was good really great spot, especially when the weather is nice.

The best Druthers location. An impressive new structure with a good variety of brews and above average food for a brewpub. A large outdoor space which should be great when the weather permits.

S
Steph Couvrette

Our group had a great meal - we tried the stout, a sour, and an IPA and each person liked their beer. We loved the Druthers chicken sandwich, the shawarma pita, the fish and chips and the chicken tacos. The fried chicken sandwich was great, especially the jalapeno ranch, and the fish and chips were huge! The service was friendly and super fast.

Our server Jordan was excellent! Our food was great. Wish I lived in the area so I could go back. Especially for their new amazing outdoor patio.

Full marks for our visit! Despite being a graduation day with lots of groups and families there, seating and being seated was instant. Food coming was snappy too! We did lunch with drinks, the beer cheese appetizer to start, i had the epic 'Loaded Grilled Cheese and fries', my friend got the carnitas tacos. Everything was tops. It does run a lil pricey but the portion sizes are decent and the quality was right up there! Will go there again. AFK they have a TON of parking but it goes back behind the pavillion. From the front it may seem too busy to bother. Check anyway! This is a big resturant!!

I had a very nice time at Druthers. They have a huge location with lots of outside seating on the patio. There is a large spot purely dedicated to corn hole and a nice food truck out back in case you don’t want to order food from the kitchen. It feels like a resort it’s so big!

We had such a great time at Druther’s Brewery in Clifton Park. Schyler was one of the most amazing bartenders we’ve ever had, super attentive and friendly. Our wings were crispy and cooked perfectly, and the overall ambiance and conversation made the night even better. We’ll definitely be back.

Great experience at Druthers in Clifton Park. Came in on a Friday and expected it to be really busy and our server, Bella S, did a great job. She was incredibly nice and very well rounded. Definitely will be coming back!

Fantastic location and perfect atmosphere to enjoy some time with friends over well crafted beers! The sour beer selection is awesome! They offer a full liquor bar and non alcoholic options as well. The outside patio bar area has corn hole boards, and live music. Plenty of parking and space for large groups as well. Definitely enjoyed our visit here, especially at sunset!

Went there for a quick lunch outing for some pizza and wings and was not disappointed. Food was phenomenal. Service was great, all servers passing by were also friendly and attentive. Nice secluded area outside too for the kiddos to play as well. We have been there before and I got the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese then and it was so good I didn't have time to get a pic! Had enough to take home. The pizza we had at this visit was delicious, 0 leftovers.

Last night, our party of 8 celebrated a birthday and had a really good experience. I read the reviews and was hesitant based on the solidly mixed reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. Both the mac and cheese and the Nashville wings were declared excellent by the other members of my party. I had half of the BBQ chicken sandwich (bbq sauce on the side so I could add my preferred amount) and half of the burger, with candied jalapeños added. I absolutely loved them! The burger came out as requested with no pink but was still juicy. And the chicken wasn't too thick and had great flavor. I also enjoyed the strawberry fields salad. My only sad note was the fries, which used to be my favorite item here. They were soft and starchy instead of the crispy shoestring fries I used to crave. I hope this wasn't a permanent change. I personally do not drink, but Druthers is known for their beer and the people in my party who ordered drinks were happy with their selections. Our waitress Morgan was terrific as well. She kept the drinks coming and checked on us regularly, as well as apologized when the birthday guy's meal was the only one not brought out with the rest. Excellent service, which at this time isn't always easy to find. I will note that the experience in total (not including the 10 minutes or so we spent after paying the check) was a little under 2 hours, probably due to how busy it was inside as well as out on the patio. We didn't mind as it was a family gathering, and we had time to catch up. But if you are in a hurry, this may not work for you. Overall, I definitely recommend trying this place out. Next time, I will probably sit outside and enjoy the patio.

First time at the CP Druthers and it was exceptional. I've been to the Albany one a few times and eh. Clifton Park? Excellent. The food was sooo good, the service was great, the atmosphere was stunning. We sat outside next to the gardens and it was just beautiful. Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful landscaping. The waitress recommended a strawberry basil margarita and it did not disappoint, I got a second. We just split appetizers, the corn dip and big Mac taquitos, both were delicious, especially the taquitos! Plus the beer cheese was so amazing! I will say the bill shocked me a little bc I wasn't paying attention, especially since there were no entrées but it was with my long time friend and we don't get together often, so it was worth it! Would definitely recommend and will likely return!

Love the whole way this place is setup. It's like a giant timber barn. Great covered outdoor bar area and corn hole area. Not sure if all location layouts are the same. First time here. Pretty simple menu. Handful of different choices in each category such as appetizers, burgers, salads, etc. Everything we had was quite good. Loaded mac & cheese portions are huge. Only downfall is noise level inside can get where you can't even your server. Outside seating seems to be nivlce and relaxing. There are even solo stoves with Adirondack chairs.

What an excellent job they did over here! The building and property itself is a destination and even better the service was fantastic. I've been there twice within their first week of opening? Lol Food is fresh and they have great portions to share if you can't pick just one thing off the menu. Definitely check it out and if the weather is nice you can check out their outside bar too! Update- went back this afternoon and it was another great experience! The server was pleasant and even after we stopped ordering and came back to check on us frequently. Got all the apps on the menu and had a nice time

First time there, really nice inside. Can’t wait to see it in the summer time. We ordered boneless wings to start and they give you quite a bit. Good crunch and blue cheese. My burger was good and my girlfriend’s bbq Mac and cheese was huge. Will be back again!

Druthers is almost chain status in this area, but the Clifton Park location is different! Such an amazing building, bar area, outdoor patio, and outdoor bar area! The waitlist was long, but we were still able to sit at the bar and then get food to go. Food to go was quick and warm. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the outdoor space further. Edit: the space is still really awesome but the food is just alright. Chicken sandwich felt like a frozen chicken patty and flatbread was nothing special. Need food improvements to match the quality of the space.

Their ordering and serving procedures outside are inefficient. Once you order food at the bar, you have to keep an eye out for the food to be brought to the bar, rather than delivering it to your table. I ordered fish and Chips which was not hot. The so called tarter sauce was not tartar sauce, but some kind of dll sauce. The fish was not fresh and didn't taste good. Disappointing because the last time I was there the shrimp tacos I ordered were very good. The venue itself is beautiful.

F

Food was great, service was also great. The scenery outside the restaurant is beautiful. The acoustics were not good, so it’s loud inside. That’s really the only flaw with this place.

B
Bruce Weber

Ate outside in a beautiful, lush patio atmosphere. Best part of dinner. Pretzel bites were fried, not baked, and only about four of them were consumed. Waygu burger was pretty good and very filling, though nowhere near the medium I ordered.

R

The restaurant itself is super cold and made it unenjoyable. The waiter was not friendly and not attentive. He was borderline rude and never asked how things were. My mother got the milkshake she ordered before her meal after she had already finished eating. Even ordering just another beer took a long time to get it. The pulled pork sandwich was good. The outside looks really nice with a musician and place to play cornhole.

I recently visited Druthers Brewing Company while visiting my brother and his family in Rexford. I was thoroughly impressed by the beautifully landscaped outdoor patio, which creates a serene atmosphere surrounded by nature. The venue offers a delightful children's playground and a thoughtfully designed bean bag toss area, providing entertainment for families while adults can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The centrally located bar is conveniently positioned near the restrooms, ensuring that guests have easy access to refreshments. With great live music enhancing the experience, Druthers Brewing Company truly offers a cozy and relaxing environment perfect for unwinding. One of the standout features of my visit was the food, especially the pretzel bites, which were undoubtedly the best I've ever had during my travels. They perfectly complemented the craft brews on tap and added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. However, I did notice that the venue can get quite crowded, and seating can be limited at times. Another setback was the amount of gnats and flies. Albiet, it was Summertime, but when you have guests eating outdoors in a venue, it would be highly recommended to spray or control the amount of pests that are around the food. Despite this, the overall ambiance and attention to detail make Druthers Brewing Company a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a unique and memorable outing.

It's September 28th and guess what, Druthers just opened their 4th location in Clifton Park and decided come give it a try. The place is massive and probably can seat close to or over 500 people. The restaurant/brewery is located in the heartbof Clifton Park. All this is going to do, is add to the traffic woes on Rt 146! The restaurant looks beautiful and with high ceilings, multiple bars and an amazing outdoor space. I would rate the restaurants service 4.5, ambience and crowd 5 and food 3. I don't drink but tasted Druthers Manhattan, which I would rate a 4.5.

Beautiful patio with plenty of seating. Corn hole and an outdoor bar too. Mac and cheese is a must. We came as a party of 8, and were seated right away at a table on the patio. There seems to be plenty of seating so great for a large group of people. The table split the street corn style Mac and cheese and there was plenty for everyone. The flavors were so good but I couldn’t possibly have that all to myself! I had a burger with fries. I got the sauce on the side and no cheese, personal preference. The burger is smash burger style so you can’t specify the cook. It was a double patty- pretty solid burger but nothing to write home. The burger sauce was really good. I had a strawberry basil margarita which wasn’t too sweet or tart. Good summer drink. I didn’t try the beer but saw the waiters coming out with intriguing flights to other tables. I’m not from the area but would be interested in coming back to try some more of the selection. Service was quick and friendly. Overall, would recommend for large groups and great summer night vibes.

Good selection of beer and a really impressive building. They appear to be shorthanded. I got the beef tacos that were ok, but nothing remarkable. They definitely have some really good canned beers.

We went yesterday for Father’s Day. Really beautiful atmosphere. Lots of outdoor space with Corn Hole and seating to enjoy the summer time! Food was good as well. The 2 stars I give for service though. We had a large party so sure I understand that things take time. However, when the waitstaff is just standing around chit chatting and it’s been over 15 minutes for our drinks, I don’t think that is good customer service at all. Kind of ruined the experience for me being honest. Other than that, I would say it was good.

Loved the vide at this brewery. Located right of 146. It's a huge place. We were a group of 20 ppl and went here for lunch. This place has the decent sized resturant with an outdoor seating. In addition they have a separate bar area ouside. There is corn hole board next to the bar area. There was also a food truck that aserved food for the outside bar area. We sat at the outdoor bar area and played cornhole with some beer. The place looks new and well maintained. The beer selection is excellent. I recommend trying the honey dew or the uncurious from their draft menu. They are really good beers. We ordered food from the food truck thats next to the bar area. It was the opening week of the food truck. The food was decent. I got the pulled chicken ceasar sandwich. It was good. You need to buy sides seperately. I got the pretzel with cream dip and burnt cauliflower. I highly recommend the burnt cauliflower . It tasted really good. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. This place has a long wait during the weekend. So plan ahead.

I came here with only my expectations from the Saratoga Druthers. The ambiance is extensive and I cannot wait to be here in the summer to enjoy the extensive patio. The food is identical to the previous establishment. As before their beer cheese pretzels are out of this world and keep me coming back for more. Also as before their beer hasn't improved. If you like IPAs then you're fine, but if you like stouts like me then your SOL. (Luckily there a ton of other great local breweries in the area who do have stouts, so don't worry too much, just explore!) Big warning to those who are sound sensitive. The inside eating area echos like no tomorrow. It makes it hard to hear people who are next to you. I wish I had brought my sound cancelling earbuds. Also even though it's been over a month since they opened it's been packed. We had to wait 30 minutes just to seat two. I highly recommend calling ahead or ordering to go.

Druthers Brewing is a nice place for a get together with friends. Food is good, and plentiful and good variety to choose from. It was busy but we didn't feel rushed and we didn't wait too long for our food or service. Lots of beer varieties. Our 2 friends enjoyed what they tried. We would definitely go again!

It’s a really nice-looking place from the outside and the inside. Big open space with a nice, long bar. We stopped in for lunch and had a few issues with the food order. I generally prefer the druthers in Saratoga.

Lots of outdoor areas to hang out. The food was really good and the portions were big. The only thing was that it took a while to get food/drinks, and we couldn’t sit inside.

J

Great food. Great atmosphere and location. Disappointing service. First time we sat at the bar for after-work drinks. Zero acknowledgement when sitting down. Took about 10 minutes to get a drink order in. Had to ask for menus. A common sight was everyone at the bar with an empty glass. Bartender was MIA for periods at a time and when they were there, they were catching up on drink tickets from tables. Second time was for lunch after shopping on a weekend. It wasn't busy so we were sat pretty quickly but then waited 20 minutes before a server arrived for drink orders. Again, seemed the staff would disappear for periods of time. This doesn't seem to match the rest of the Druthers locations. I've never had a bad experience at Saratoga or Schenectady. Staff seems young so my guess is they need a little more oversight. We've also been here for their ticketed Oktoberfest the last two years and had a great time with friends. Everyone seemed on their A-game those days.

Service is odd, almost indifferent - underwhelming food. Mac n cheese cold in center and looked like a hot mess. Prices have gone too far- 28 for fish n chips. I might go for a beer again but that’s about it. We got there at 6 on a sunny evening and the place was almost empty. Might be over their skis…

Service was great, atmosphere is fun, open. The food was the biggest problem. I have had their food from the Albany and Schenectady locations and never had an issue. The CP location was a huge let down. I ordered the chicken sandwich and unfortunately I was so disappointed. The coleslaw on the sandwich was wayyy too sauced, so the bun fell apart as I ate it. The chicken gave McChicken, bland and the breading was flat. The beer as always was good, service was friendly and attentive and the ambiance was inviting. The food however left much to be desired, especially for the price.

M
Melissa

Great location and outdoor set up but that's about it. Don't expect to get what you ordered. 10 people in our group and half of our orders were missing items. We sat for almost 2.5 hours and never once did we get offered water again. If you're just looking for a summer outdoor bar it's great, as far as food keep your expectations on the low side. This review is after 4 attempts to like this place.

The facility is beautiful. Most staff are great, a couple always seem as if they hate their job, and it shows. One of the hostesses seemed like I was bothering her, didn't care to make sure the phone number was accurate for check-in, and thus, the notification. We said we would wait at the bar, I checked in later, and she somewhat rudely said that our table was ready and that she had notified me. I hadn't received the text. She went back to looking at her phone. Another hostess was very friendly, even though she wasn't attending to us. It's always a 45-minute to 1-hour wait, no matter how many people are there or how many tables they have open (maybe not enough staff for the size of the facility?). Beer is always great. Beer cheese is my favorite, but nearly 20$. Burgers and sandwiches have gone downhill a bit. The quality of presentation was on par with Friendly's across the street. Burger had cheese and a couple of pickles, no lettuce, onion, or tomato, and no dipping sauce for the fries. The "crispy onions" were barely noticeable. Burgers and fry servings seem smaller. Shrinkflation I guess. The fried Chicken sandwich was running all over the plate. Like the cooks need to strain their coleslaw before putting it on the sandwich, otherwise it makes a literal puddle, and thus the bun sops up wet. Seen this 3 separate times I have been there. At the prices, 21$ for the base burger (no LTO, add-ons could make it a 30$ burger, $3 for jalepenos?), I'll get the beer to go and will eat elsewhere. I get the feeling that management is struggling to ensure quality control over the growing spread of facilities or were overzealous in the scope of this facility. I hope they pay attention to feedback and can make it a little better, as I look forward to going back and trying dinner on the patio.

Top shelf? I dunno about that one chief. Had a hankering for some Fish and Chips and I had been watching the construction of Druthers in Clifton Park for years, now that I've finally had a chance to stop in I have to say I'm not too impressed. Ordered ahead over the phone for the "top shelf" Fish and Chips and a Beer Cheese Dip, coming to a whooping $50 total. Woof. I've had some pricy meals before, but they have either been worth it and blew my socks off or were just all hot air. Unfortunately for Druthers they were the latter in this case. The fish itself was cooked quite well, nice and flaky, a nice crispy breading outside, but not much in the way of flavor. I was quite liberal with the lemon wedges and dipping sauces included, because the fish was just that bland. And those chips, man, I've had better "chips" from Burger King. They were so sad looking, not crispy at all, just kind of laying there in a big clump at the bottom of the box. Much like the fish they too lacked flavor, so that was pretty disappointing for a $27 dish. How about the Beer Cheese Dip then? Well that was actually surprising and also not, because I was not expecting just how hoppy the dip was. Like, wow, felt like it was 70% beer and 30% cheese in there. So the dip got a thumbs up, for actually being more than just a cup of melted cheese. The pretzels though, I just, why is it everyone salts their pretzels so much? And these weren't even sea salted that I could brush off, it was just table salt, and they were coated in it. Totally ruined the dip, because that was already salty enough, you didn't need to triple the salt intake with tossing the interestingly bake? fried? pretzels in even more salt. Too much. Now normally I'd only dock a single star for the food being less desirable than anticipated, but at the exorbitant prices they were charging here, just adds insult to injury. And since the food is what I came for, the overall result is a full star down.

Staff was very friendly with about a 30 minute wait at the time. Got Cheese Dip (Bavarian pretzels) The came out a little warm and the cheese the same way. 6.3/10 Loaded Mac was just ok nothing to write home about. The center of the dish was barely warm. The cast iron dish was very warm and if you ate around the edges the food was good. Asked for Alabama white sauce and never got it. 3.5/10 The server was great, very friendly, and helpful. 8.2/10 The overall experience was not what I’ve had in the past from their other locations. My total overall experience is rated at a 6/10

Website we looked at online said Happy hour 3 to 6:00. I ordered a drink at the bar at 5: 32 pm. The bartender said happy our was over so instead of paying $3 for a margarita I paid $16. He was about as friendly as a rock. We then got a table and had a large party of 11 celebrating a birthday. The service was good and the waitress was very friendly but the food was nothing to brag about. Not cheap either. $440 with a tip and it just wasn't worth it. I will go elsewhere next time.

We went back on a Friday night and they kindly accommodated our large party. There was no wait. I had the K-BBQ (bulgogi) tacos and the taste was dependent on the sauces rather than quality meat. The tortillas were a little doughy. They were also small compared to the old adobado tacos, which I loved. My party also got the Cesar Salad, the Fish and Chips, pizza, and burgers. Although the atmosphere is lovely, the food quality seems to have gone down a bit. Prices are up, but I suppose that is a sign of the times. Also, for a brew pub not to have a stout on tap was surprising to me, but if you like IPAs, there were three. Overall, we have an okay experience on this visit.

When this opened I saw the huge outdoor seating area with the Adirondack chairs and thought, "what a great place to come have a beer with our dogs" since we regularly take them to breweries, wineries, cideries, and restaurants around the area and all over the country when we travel. Unfortunately, and somewhat bewildering, they do no allow dogs, so we usually visit the plethora of other dog friendly breweries in the area including Single Cut which allows dogs inside -wonderful in bad weather when outdoor patios aren't always fully covered. As far as the food, beer and atmosphere. Food is good. Have been happy both times we've been here having short ribs once and a really good burger on a gluten free bun the second time. We've also enjoyed various apps. Beer is good and my wife who doesn't drink beer was impressed with the cocktail she got. They also have ciders. I really enjoy the adult milk shakes, which aren't common in the northeast but you see the in the PNW and elsewhere. Atmosphere is generally very loud indoors. Not a big deal as long as you know that going in... But it's really loud. We haven't sat outside yet as it's either been cold or raining. And that does look like a great space.

Kind of disappointed they have no happy hour specials outside.. when I order a margarita I always look forward to a salted or tajin rim and they dumped it inside.. I know all drinks are expensive now but for $16 dollars a drink and the food was okay.. it wasn’t worth it to come here

UPDATED: "Was" our favorite of all locations. Especially in the summer. The outdoor area is awesome. Editing a few years later.... I recently went to the Clifton Park location. Food quality has just tanked. The last few times our food was cold and quality was poor. I got the reuben special for St. Patties day, and there was hardly any sauerkraut, and virtually no cheese. My daughter ended up with food poisoning this last visit, and that was the needle that broke the camels back. I have no idea what happened to this company. The beer was always okay, but we went back for the food. Now, neither are great.

Zero complaints about the fish and chips; pretty good. The beer was very good. I ordered the Mediterranean salad minus the olives. Thank goodness I do not have an olive allergy, because I could taste the olives in the first bite. There were 3 olives buried in the salad. Apparently, they thought they could pick them out and that would be fine. I continued eating, but didn't even eat half, as the salad had little taste, other than the feta and olives, and the added chicken was very dry. I took the salad home. It dawned on me that there was no dressing seeping into the cardboard box. I looked at the menu online - "lemon dijon dressing on the side." Aha. Didn't get that, and that definitely would have given it more flavor. SO maybe the salad would not have been so bad if the dressing had been served with it and the salad had been made without the olives. If there had been an allergy involved, simply picking out the olives could have caused someone to have a very bad night (1 star for service). The outdoor seating area is incredible. I would go back, but I wouldn't expect the kitchen to accommodate special orders.

Pretty consistent bad experiences here. Made a reservation for a family bday, I came inside and things were pretty dead. They smooshed us all into a tiny table with tons of plenty of empty, larger tables all around us. We got apps, entrees and drinks. There wasn’t space to put anything. It was SO awkward. But it’s ok! Just politely request to move somewhere, right? But some Karen looking manager refused to move us to another larger table (that there were plenty of, unoccupied until we left), after asking nicely. She gave us “once drinks are on the table we are unable to move people”. Like okaaaay. I said I was willing to help physically move things to help them help us. It was extremely awkward.. and this tiny table with 5 people, we were in direct sunlight and it was sooo extremely hot and uncomfortable. Don’t think there was a cm radius of free space, if you put own thing down you have to hold something else in your hand (why.. not just move us with room everywhere else? So bizarre. The hostesses didn’t seem all there, sorry). The next time I ordered food to go, they gave us one tiny sauce container for all of the wings we got (half filled, like a container you get for blue cheese or something). I think it lasted maybe 2-3 wings and then we were out. We didn’t ask for sauce on the side or anything a pain to make, just plain ol buffalo wings. There was something hard (plastic?) in the burger. These mistakes add up and i wouldn’t recommend this place at all. People make mistakes and I’m able to give places a 2nd or 3rd etc try, but the Karen hostesses and manager that make the experience just lousy when the table clearly doesn’t suit a family was just weird. I really want to like this place. It is so pretty inside and they have a good menu. My advice is, when customers are very and noticeable uncomfortable and there is a super easy solution, please don’t be lazy and listen to them especially when they’re polite and kind to you. I work in retail, I get it, dealing with customers suck but at the end of the day I still try to make experiences better for people and not worse.

Sorry, not sure what the fuss is all about. Pizza was soggy, wings were ok, and they were out of 2 beers that we wanted. The guy working the desk for outside seating was as helpful and enthusiastic as a sloth. Tons of empty tables, others were full of garbage. Not what I was expecting due to the hype around this place. The outdoor bar/pavilion was nice looking at least, but the female bartender seemed annoyed to be there. Maybe I’ll try again next summer.

Stick to beer. I ordered a gobbler, which was supposed to be turkey, cranberry, stuffing, and cheese on a baguette. I ordered without cheese. When I got it, there was not enough turkey to fill the bread, no cranberry at all, a dollop of stuffing so small I had to look around to see if the rest fell off, and a purple smear of something that I am assuming they will say was a cranberry mayo. I hate mayo and would never had ordered this if they said cranberry mayo and NOT actual cranberry. My wife had ordered the same sandwich and hers was equally disappointing. Don’t order food from here, only go here for drinks.

Great atmosphere, regular bar food but jeez their prices for beer is insane now. $8+ for the beer they make themselves. I would go more often, but not willing to pay those prices for ok beer.

Someone gave us one of those happycard gift cards with the Druthers name on it and we decided to go to Druthers to use it. It turns out, they do not accept the happycard gift cards with their logo on it, even though it just swipes exactly like a visa gift card. They claim it's because the company put their logo on it without their permission. They will gladly swipe a visa gift card without their logo on it though, which makes 0 sense... Sounds like they're mad at the company and taking it out on their customers, even though the gift card was the whole reason we went there in the first place. Otherwise good food and experience, but made a bitter customer when it came time to pay.

We got put on the waitlist, quoted 30min. 1 hour later we go ask and are told our spot was canceled. We get seated next and wait awhile just to get a waiter to come speak to us. We ordered boneless wings(no way they aren’t Tyson frozen wings🤮) and the pretzel with cheese which were ok. I ordered a burger with “chopped bacon” which just ended up as rubbery bacon bits from a bag. My guest got a salad which they didn’t have the advertised lettuce. The restaurant looks nice but the food isn’t worth $18+ a dish.

Had my daughter’s 14th birthday party here. Called a few weeks in advance to make a reservation. Specifically chose this place for the patio and ambiance of the landscaping/lighting at night. Showed up 15 mins early to make sure we were there first. Was informed they don’t allow parties larger than 8 on the patio. Reservation was for 20. Told them I called in advance to ensure this wouldn’t happen and received push back. Not one for confrontation and my daughter is the typical teen who is petrified of anything “Karen” like so she interjected and said it was fine in order to end the discussion. She was clearly disappointed though. Was told our table wasn’t ready as they had to prepare. What? The place was empty and it was 5:45 on a Tuesday night. Proceeded to watch them immediately walk over and push three tables together that run the length of the bar. Simple prep. Cut to 32 minutes later as we’re all jammed into the front entrance still waiting to be seated. I go up to the hostess to ask what the hold up is. I’m told they were waiting for me to come back up. What? I’m standing ten feet in front of you with 15 people for the past half hour. It’s YOUR responsibility to seat YOUR customers when YOU’RE ready. So two major issues with service before we even get to the table. Then we’re seated and it’s freezing inside. Irritation from not being outside is now escalating. We then proceed to wait another 10 mins for our server to come and take drink orders. Understandable because she is running about 10 other tables both inside and out. Again, what? I called in advance to make a reservation for a large party and you have her serving a section with seating for 50+ other people and bussing her own tables? Who is managing this place? Cut to 10-15 mins later as she has to tend her tables AND fill all of the drinks for our entire party AND run them by herself. Remember, we’re right in front of the bar and where they run food from so I can see all of this. She then asks if we’re ready to order. I tell her we want to start with a bunch of appetizers. She takes the order and then immediately asks for my entree order. I tell her we’re not ready yet and she insists that I order; stating that it’s easier and she’ll run them out separately. I get that, but again, I just got a bunch of 14 year olds to figure out what apps they want. They haven’t even started thinking about dinner yet nor am I ready. I don’t feel like arguing so I tell them to start figuring out what they want on the fly as she wants us to order our dinners now as well. A few of them knew what they wanted already so I told her to start at the other end while I decided and asked if she could grab a kids menu for my youngest daughter. Half of them then proceed to order the same family size mac and cheese platters and boneless wing shareable plates. No guidance from her whatsoever as I’m focused on hurrying up to pick my own meal on the fly as she insisted. Again, these are 14 year olds girls. Most adults would struggle to put down a pound of mac and cheese or 20 boneless wings. A heads up would have been greatly appreciated. This is something I could have easily managed, and was intending on doing, if I hadn’t been rushed to order. Food wasn’t very good. Best thing we had all night were the waffle fries nachos. Beer cheese with the pretzel bites had a weird taste. Chicken sandwich I ordered was cold and had no crunch. Had to open it up to see if I had mistakenly gotten a grilled chicken breast. They clearly made the food all at once and let the main courses sit around while we ate the apps. Bill ended up being over $500. Tipped 25% out of habit. Not worth it or deserved though. Worst part…the girls went outside for pics only to see huge sections of the patio empty with chairs up on the tables. They could have easily accommodated us without issue and made the night much more enjoyable. They CHOSE not to though. Disappointed would be an understatement. Place is understaffed because they spent too much money on the building/grounds.

Incredibly disappointing meal and service. Reception team outside was quite unwelcoming and did not help get us to where we needed to go. Took almost 30 minutes from order to bringing out of food. One meal came out completely cold. Took almost 20 minutes to get the redo of that meal. All of this was capped off by the waitress asking us to “hide” a milkshake we ordered out of view of another table because the other table had ordered one and she had said they were out. So unprofessional to ask customers to do that and cover for a lie! Not worth it at all for $20-$25 a plate. Had I not been with my wife and children on Father’s Day, I would have asked for the meal to be comped, because it certainly wasn’t worth what we payed for the poor and unprofessional service we received.

First time at this location. The outside patio decor is beautiful! However, I wouldn’t go back. Fruit flies in my beer AND water. $17 for blackened shrimp tacos that was just a few pieces of lettuce and shrimp. I never like to post negative feedback but it was honestly just disappointing for the money spent.

We tried druthers again in clifton park..... I don't know why but we did... The taste of the food is good , but the food is always cold. This is probably the fifth time we've gone there in a row and the food is cold.I don't know why we continue to try , but this will be our last time. We left and brought our food home so we could heat it up and eat it. We would have stayed and had more to drink and eat ..sad, it's a beautiful place and the flavors are good. We have brought this up to the staff previously, and clearly no one is addressing it.If you ever decide to address the temperature of your food, please post it to the public. So maybe we'll give it another try.Until then.We are done.

Always “out” of the tomato soup. Every time I try. Went today at 1:20 and they said they were out. Went once to the one in Saratoga right when they opened and they said they just didn’t want to make it yet. Shouldn’t have it on the menu if they don’t want to serve it. Other than that, they have good food and I usually enjoy the experience. But this is my 4th time now hearing this.

I have been going to Druthers since it first opened in Saratoga and it has always been fantastic! Then they opened in Albany and it was also great, never had any complaints. Going to their Clifton Park location, well, the atmosphere was nice and the outdoor bar area was beautiful and a nice vibe. However, the server we had was not good. We were sat about 10 minutes before another party that was larger. We ordered as soon as we sat down and yet our food came after theirs. When our food did come, it came out cold. I got the mac and cheese because it has always been a favorite but I was so disappointed and couldn't even have more than four bites. It was cold and not seasoned at all. It was the most bland mac and cheese I have ever had. I am so disappointed in how far Druthers have fallen. We had to wait about 20 minutes to pay and the server never came back with our receipt. It was not busy outside, and the server was rarely around. It was overall a very disappointing experience.

I used to love Druthers. All of their locations. The past 1-2 years, the prices have skyrocketed, the portions have gotten smaller, and the quality of food has gotten worse. I used to be able to get 3 to 4 meals out of loaded mac & cheese. Now I can barely get 2. Loaded grilled cheese sandwich is smaller and very greasy. Our waiter was rude and rushed us, then he had to come back because he forgot what our drink order was. I don’t know what they are doing, but I don’t think I will be back anytime soon, if ever.

Deeply confused by this place. They are now giving out hourglasses when you sit down. If the sand runs out before your server gets there you get a free order of fries. If service is a struggle, then putting it front and center when I first sit down isn't going to help. For the last few times in a row, my food has also been cold. Not just lukewarm, but cold. Unless the prep window is directly under the A/C, I don't know how this happens so regularly. Different times of day, different days, same cold food. The food itself, when hot, is great. The beer is great. Some of the service staff is great. I don't know what they need to do as a team to get out of their own way and just run a good restaurant.

Got there at 7:45 appetizers came out quickly but food we didn’t get until 9:25 & it was very underwhelming. Food was cold as well. First Clifton park experience & it might be the last…

Came here for a birthday tonight. The birthday girl was a bit loud. The bar tender came over and said you’re bothering the regulars if you don’t stop yelling I’m cutting you off. First of all I’m not a child I don’t care if you cut me off. I had two drinks and was done anyway. I said you could have said nicely ladies some people would like it quiet at an outside bar. . I would have said oh ok we will keep her quieter although I’m not sure why. She didn’t like it that I said that and cut me off lol! I thought it was a fun place to go until that. Wow. So we all 20 of us went somewhere else where you can have fun. You don’t have to be drunk to have a good time. She was a little power hungry. Poor thing. She lost the tips for all the other bartenders. Oh well.

My $28 fish and chips was two tasteless frozen fish pattys over a bed of mediocre fries. My friend's $23 cheese pizza had very little cheese and a lot of giant bubbles in the slices. Never again.

ordered a chicken sandwich which was pink on the inside and a side salad 🥗 to go which wound being a box of lettuce with nothing else no onions 🧅 tomatoes 🍅 croutons peppers 🫑 as any other establishment would have done . the most pathetic take out ever.a salad is a combination of selected vegetables 🥗 not a box of basically grass . you should be ashamed to call this a salad and to list it as greens …… absolutely pathetic 😡👎

Pizza was cold. Had to ask to reheat. Strawberry salad with chicken was mostly lettuce. Little chicken and was very dry.

This is such a sad review. This was my first time at this new location, it was following my last visit to the Schenectady location where the mac and cheese we were served was room temperature to say the least. Arriving at this location, the first indicator was the menus being out front in bust bins. Waited 20 mins longer than anticipated. Was trying to find somewhere to sit to wait the 45 minutes total and by the third time we were asked to move we were finally directed to some Adirondack chairs what was an approved waiting area. In the entire patio, when we finally got a table was seated in the corner of the dark awning. The food was average and table service average to say the least. This experience has made me second guessing my next visit to Druthers.

By far some of the worst service and blatant rude behavior I have ever received. As a server I rarely ever have anything to say about any service I receive because I understand that someone can have an off night. However, Emily couldn’t be bothered to actually do her job because she was too busy trying to impress the two men sitting less than 5 feet from our table. It would have been very easy to check on us each time that she went to their table by just simply turning around. Our bar drinks were watered down by the time we received them. She never checked how our drinks or appetizers were. I had to stop her walking away from their table to even get more water. She tossed boxes onto the bench seat next to my friend while walking behind her without saying anything shortly after we received our meals. She reminded us that the boxes were there as if to tell us to leave when the restaurant was still open for another hour. Again, I feel the need to point out her difference in demeanor and tone of voice. The difference would not have be as noticeable if that table wasn’t so close that we could reach out and touch each other party. To end things on a positive note, the blonde hostess with the half up pigtails was wonderful!

Said there would be about a 5 minute wait - even confirmed that a table was available - then proceeded to studiously ignore us for 30 minutes. If it’s going to be 30 minutes, say 30 minutes. If you truly believed it would be shorter, it takes very little effort to give a quick update to someone sitting 6 feet away.

9/6 4:13 Waited 22 minutes for a table of 3. While lazy serves just stood and watched 1 bus-boy take his sweet time. Absolutely embarrassing to this great restaurant.
