Woke this morning wanted a steak and egg burrito, went to the best drive-thru carne asada in town all you need to due is add eggs and bean. I got machaka burrito don't know,how they missed that up should of just went to bought some ranchoria from the corner store saves my some gas

This is the greatest Mexican food restaurant maybe not the best but the thing I like is that it's cheap, good, and the tacos have a lot of meat; I mean me and my family can make two tacos out of one and it's double tortilla. Quesadillas are bomb too they have meat in them and they taste just perfect if you don't like this restaurant then go eat at another where they serve dog without you knowing it. Honestly I think I have eaten dog tacos once in Mexicali they only costed 1 peso so I think it was dog but it was still good.

They have the best carne asada fries around! Although, the drive is far it is always worth it. Their Pina juice is also delicious. I am bit a huge fan of their tacos though - the tortillas weren't very good.

Had a couple of tacos to go and as usual they were delicious. I go to Aldos whenever I am in the area or have a craving for Mexican food that is my go to place. It's the closest to home cooking I have found in the Valley. Go there you won't be disappointed.

Open 24/7 for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner cravings. This place smacks—it’s amazing how consistently good their food is. They have all types of meats, mariscos, and traditional dishes. The prices are fair for the quality but if you’re ordering for a party of 4/5, you’ll easily be looking at over $40. Most people get the Carne Asada fries (fries topped with carne asada and sour cream + some sort of guacamole, it’s not the chunky kind you might be thinking). They’re also known as “super fries.” You’ll find big groups of people here most nights and some car meetups outside, but don’t expect any problems. Just observe and take in the culture! Lastly, let me put you on somethin: Shrimp burrito with no pico de gallo but add sliced avocado, sour cream, and fries. Thank me later.

Aldos is a fantastic place to eat at, great tasting food the prices are a little high but the portions differently make up for that. The employees are kind and professional as well and it's usually pretty fast service.

SO I TRIED THE PLATE THAT COMES WITH 3MINI TACOS THEY WERE ACTUALLY A GOOD SIZE VERY FULL IN FLAVOR THE ABSOLUTE BEST IN MY OPINION. ALSO EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WENT THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU BUT I DID SEE THE DINER OPEN N THERE WAS PEOPLE EATING OUTSIDE AS WELL. OVERALL MY 1ST VISIT WAS VERY SATISFYING TO SAY THE LEAST. I'M SURE I'LL BE GOING BACK. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

I love this place, every time I go I always think I'm going to get something different and I don't I always end up getting the same thing. And it's bomb every time!! It's bacon cheeseburger combo the fries are amazing and my brother always orders the club sandwich also really delicious.

The food is superb. The portions are awesome. The Carne asada chunks and flavor will draw us back again. The self service salsa bar was very clean and well stocked with fresh salsa and pickled carrots and peppers.. Which by the way are awesome as well..

It's Clichè to say but the Caldo de Pollo is close to what I remember eating when I was younger...that's a good thing. I also like the Tortas, especially the Asada.

Love this place specially the NACJOS and ASADA FRIES, but sometimes theirs times when we go and the fries aren't freshly made and taste different. Otherwise I would love to give it a 5 ⭐ but other than that I love it. Excellent price and service

I've been eating here for over 10 years at least once a week. I go here for the carne asada fries. Pricey but worth it. I've tried every other place in the Coachella valley for carne asada fries but NO ONE comes close to these! They really load up on the carne asada. They don't skimp on anything here. Everywhere else they skimp. Believe me they do. Ordering here is quick and they serve you fast. But while you wait, you can ask them for some warm chips topped with fresh pico de gallo salsa on top. They don't charge for this. The quality of the food here is always fresh. The staff is always friendly.

Went to cochella week to looked for a Mexican while shopping for my drive back and asked him for the best place to get a breakfast burrito. The rest is history, the steak was so good and portions were good for the price. There's also a gosht spirit. I know it sounds crazy 🤣 but the employees told me I was not going nuts and that it's a friendly gosht IDK never experience that before. I don't even believe in Jesus so IDK 😶 either way check it out 👍

They have some of the best Mexican food you can legally get in the US. The Quesabirria w/ Consome goes extremely hard. I can’t stop coming back to eat it. So so good. All their tacos are pretty dang big too, not a just little street taco.

I highly recommend the Carne asada fries. With a horchata, their horchatas are the best, and the workers over there are so nice and helpful. I love the food. I also love that they have a bar where you can pit vegetable and more.

Aldo's is a regular Mexican restaurant with lots of different dishes to choose from. It's kind of got a fast food feel to me but definitely good quality meats. I believe the best thing about it is the fact that it's 247 so you can dine at anytime of the day!

Okay so portions were huge and great value for the price but I ordered the chilaquiles and definitely got huge heavy portions but it was more of a salsa than a chilaquiles/enchilada sauce and I wasn't impressed but if you want giant Carne asada fries this is the place

Solid nachos and huge tacos. Definitely worth it if you want some Mexican lunch. This is a place if your trying to pig out. Went for lunch so got the good happy workers. I might go two days in a row. Asada didn't have any fat or inedible nerves so I appreciate that high quality. Many places try to cheap out on quality of meat these days. Very nicely decorated inside

Not the best asadero I've been to. Although the tortillas were handmade by the time they were brought to the table they were already hard. Server was not to pleasant and broug;t us two orders that weren't ours.

I love aldos carne asada frys. I just hate when they give me old cold frys. It's happened to me a couple of times already. I can tell the frys are old. I want fresh hot frys. Stop being lazy. Other then that the place is great. Love all there salsas too.

Ive eaten here for majority of my life and it is not the same as it used to be I can imagine the Hardships of the pandemic and of the crowd a good 24 hour place can attract all kinds of life so the cut backs of time and quality can be understandable its simply just a shame and even as more time passes by I can imagine more restraunts opening up of all kinds especially fastfood can create even more competition If it is open and the ingredients are up to youre liking go for it great place to stop by but is on a decline that I hope can change Asap with much love in this review but you are simply not the aldos I grew up with anymore

I've been a patron of Aldos for many years. It's sad to see this restaurant follow the suit of many others by cutting down on serving portions. The tacos significantly shrunk in size, and the prices went up. It's a real shame. Visiting this restaurant will put a dent in your wallet. No Thanks

Couldn't believe the prices. $13.95 for some carne asada fries. (Large) Didn't find out the price until I was at the window. It was my choice to get them. I remember when I got them for $7.95

If you have never been to an actual “Alberto’s” or even a rip off version of an “AL-Blank” or “Blank-BERTO’s”…then I can see why people think the prices are ok or the food is great. I wasn’t impressed with the food and the plus sized girl in drive-thru… maybe she should switch to a position where she no longer interacts with the public. Maybe she is the complete reason I’m offering three stars. I’ll go out on a limb and say that if I spoke Spanish that my experience would have been better.

I only eat here for their Al Pastor fries. Everything else I have had here hasn't been the best. The portion they give you is definitely enough for two. I share them with my husband. If you are not too hungry you can order them in a half order.

Great food. Not open 24hrs. They close the restaurant between certain hours in the AM, please disclose the time the restaurant gets closed for whatever reason it may be. Otherwise people will drive up to a closed front door and buckets in the way of the drive thru expecting a 24hr place.

Worst "California" burrito I have ever had.$12.75 and was bean/rice/carne. Horrible. Asked for a fish taco with just cabbage and white sauce. Got a carne asada taco with cabbage. Asked for 6 rolled tacos and got 3. How they have a favorable review is shocking.

Foods always on point.but prices go up a lot. Mini tacos are perfect, price is good and amount by of meat is generous/ I changed my re iew because if you go in and ask for 3 mini tacos they charge you for the meal and act like they know no English. When I go thru the drive-thru no issue. Watch you don't get overcharged.

COME ON ALDOS! GET IT RIGHT! Or I'll never spend my money here again. The quality of the food has dropped! The meat tastes different, the salsa they gave me at the drive is gross! The salsa is no longer runny to apply to my burrito. I had to scoop it out of the little container with a spoon. I paid extra for sour cream and didnt get it on any burrito.

The service is bad! The tacos that I ordered were made very sloppy, the shredded meat was hard and old and disgustingly greasy! For the price that they charge for a taco it's not worth it. Went thru drive-thru and ordered a machaca burrito..in a hurry! Yes, in a hurry because la mujer on the other side of the speaker wouldn't even let you finish a sentence and not a good customer listener. Sh needs to be trained to listen first to the customer's needs and then talk. Kinda rude if you ask me! To make matters worse the machaca burrito was the worse I've ever had. I wonder if the cook ever tastes his own cooking. It had no flavor whatsoever other than been salty..very salty! What a team they make there! Bad CS and bad cooking. Oh! And the red hot salsa..or should I say red watery substance? Who ever told them that is salsa doesn't know what a salsa really is or the owner wants to save on tomatoes and Chile's. Not coming back here for sure!

I bought the burrito De Cabeza, not only was it expensive!! $13+. The meat was dry and old, that was very obvious! They have the audacity to charge premium for old food, and they don’t even add anything to the burrito just onions!! The only people eating this garbage is drunk people @2am. Santanas has better burritos than this place and that’s embarrassing, they should shut down!

I usually keep things to myself and drop it but not this time. It's been years since I've stopped by here and that's for a reason. Tonight l, I was craving some Carne Asada nachos so I decided to stop by. I waited about 5 minutes to get acknowledged by the staff even though the place was empty. The cook saw me standing by the register and the guy mopping did as well but never said anything meanwhile the cashier girl was facing the opposite direction talking with the guy mopping. Once the girl took my order and the male whom gave me my order, instead of kindly placing it on the table or handing it to me. He threw my order on the table and walked away. In despite of all this, I wished the staff a Good Night and no one acknowledged me again. This is a great example of bad customer service. Not to mention the food is still as bad as it was years ago made me sick. I guess for someone whom just came out of the bar it's ok but not for me and I will never return to this place.

I called at 2:07am to order carne asada nachos like I always have. The person who answered said that they do not take orders after 2:00am which was new news to me. I had family visiting out of town and I took them to Aldos but after Nancy failed to correct a complaint, we will no longer be visiting!

Called and pre ordered 2 Aldo burritos over the phone I went up to speaker let them know I was picking up an order for Maribel I then drove up to the window received my order and left . When I arrived back at work to eat my lunch I immediately noticed my order was incorrect I then called the restaurant to let them know what was going on I got put on hold twice while they were trying to figure out what to tell me I guess a short time after the lady who gave me my order at the window gets on the phone and rudely Tells me how she repeated my order at the window and how it wasn’t her problem pretty much !!!! I just wanted my order to be fixed and made correctly to what I had called and pre ordered for . I did go back and return the first order and got my original order still very bad service no one apologized for the inconvenience I asked for names they denied and kinda just laughed and asked why I needed names .

Their fries are great, but goodness is it a struggle to order every time I go. It's not even a language barrier because I'm Hispanic and speak Spanish just fine! I literally do not know what the problem is. Every time I go it's a struggle. I went today and they flat-out told me that what I order does not exist. (Even though it's literally on the menu! It's not some special custom dish) I asked when that happened, since I just ordered the exact same thing just 2 days ago, and she said they NEVER offered it. Like?????? What in the world. Where have I been all of these months, then? Some alternate universe or dimension? Was I in some weird fever dream that I finally awoke from?! In the end they charged me for 2 sizes larger of my food and 1 size larger for my drink. I also got a free side of gaslighting, so that's cool I guess. Sigh. I think I'm done with this place.

Saturday the 11th I stopped by to get carne asada fries I asked for extra salsas and the girl by the window gave me attitude and rolled her eyes She closed the window and I don’t know what she was saying, but she looked upset after I asked for the salsas When I got home, I realized they gave me nachos Asada instead of my Carne Asada fries besides getting attitude from the staff there they got my order wrong. I just had gotten out of work. I was too tired to go back and argue. Bad customer service the same it’s the same girl that every time I go, she gives me attitude all the time when you ask her for extra stuff.

Asked for a carne asada burrito with everything in it and then gave me just a burrito with only meat in it. Then labeled the bean burrito as the asada. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t respond to her in Spanish that prompted her to mess with my order but it felt targeted. I didn’t know that they didn’t sell tamales there but when I asked the lady she just kept ignoring me and pretending like she didn’t understand me. But when I told her in broken Spanish what I meant she started responding in English to me. Tacos aren’t good because they are beyond greasy, the meat is under cooked and slightly cold . Majority of the time at castañedas they provide the onions , sauce and jalapeño … Aldo’s doesn’t have the curtesy of providing . The Hibiscus 🌺 water is probably the only thing that’s actually tasty.

Horrible service, short line, waited an hour in the drive through couldn't get out of line!! I kid you not! and then messed up my order... I had ordered a #17 and they gave me a cheese taco? Ordered carne asada fries with everything. This is what they gave me..Tried to get my order straight and they refused to fix it. They said they were too busy so I called in the morning and was told it was too late and they hung up on me! Thanks Aldos for the $17 cheese taco and the nasty dry carne asada fries that I threw in the garbage. Horrible service! Food looked nasty too soaked in lard. So many other mexican food places that are so much better! I seriously have no idea why this place is even open and operating. While doing the drive thru you are at the mercy of a nasty person that just gives you whatever they make. I highly recommend to avoid this place like the plaque..

I loved this place for 15+ years. However the service has been going down fast the past few years. They made up for that with the food quality, but now that’s going downhill too. Their menu is getting way too expensive AND they are making their food portions smaller. The price increase might’ve been justified if their food quality/portion sizes stayed the same, it’s just not worth it anymore

This place had horrible service, and the food was mediocre at best. I ordered $60 worth of food, which did not come as ordered, and when I pointed it out, the employees argued with me. When I tried to bring it up with the manager, Nancy, she was no help and said nothing could be done. I even had a receipt that clearly showed what I ordered, but they still denied it. Other customers in the restaurant noticed and agreed with me, but management still refused to fix the order. I’m definitely not coming back here. I'm so disappointed with my food. I ordered a torta with NO salsa. They not only gave me some but put a ton of it making it soggy not only this but there was nothing else except old tasting meat no beans or guacamole, the bread tasted old as well. I spent like $40 bucks here for the torta and carna asada nachos which were amazing. But I will not be eating here anymore, especially with wasted money on food which is not freshly made. Gross.
