Its a great place to eat. Had a shrimp ceviche tostada and a fish ceviche tostada, and they were loaded. Someone from my party ordered flautas with lomo and cueritos and they were also loaded. Lots of choices.

My fiancé had the shrimp enchilada plate and it was so delicious! Very recommended! The torta and tacos were very good too. I love the music and spicy food but I think both can be lowered just a tiny bit for everyone to enjoy a better meal. I still give this place 5 stars because the servers were amazing, very friendly and attentive at all times, and the food didn't take too much time, although they made the mistake of bringing the appetizer last instead of first. It was our first time here and we'll be definitely returning.

Chavela are good when i go i get the tacos de tripa and the carne asada quesadilla. they have,a juke box so good place to drink some beers and bump some jams.

My torta de carne asada was good. Bread was fresh, veggies fresh would of liked a refill on my drink .

He was sitting down inside on his phone not even wearing a mask. Since, 👨 the place it is not being manage by anyone in charge one employee at entrance was not wearing a mask properly. Too cold out. They had the outside heaters inside but never connected for the clientele outside. So sad the some employees are doing their best for others to mess up.

The food is great here, especially the camarones a la diabla. The beans they use could be of better quality. The drinks are really good. They have live music on the weekends which play 1 minute versions of a song you request and you're safe with their 2 armed securities patrolling the restaurant. I gave it four stars because of the waiters, they seem to be a little on the rude side, but overall pretty good.

There are many Mexican restaurants to choose from in Coachella and I'm grateful to have chosen a good one! Seriously, there is a Mexican restaurant right next door to this one! And another one in the same plaza! Both the food and the service was good here! You won't be disappointed!

When I went here I paid more than the cheesecake factory if you compare both places cheesecake factory is a fancy restaurant comparing to this restaurant. But the food is good.

This is your typical mexican restaurant that offers the ususal items such as tacos, fajitas, shrimp coctails , etc. I had two chavelas, the original and the mango one. The original was really good, but the mango one was not good at all. It tasted watered down and had almost no mango flavor. The food was fairly standard, but had good flavor.

They took for ever to take our order and when it was time to pay was another half hour to give us our change back...

You can not have the AC off in this valley's weather ..I drank a beer and felt dehydrated and I had to take my food to go..never eat in a place where they won't turn on the AC ..it was hot , sticky, and humid due to the weather out side ..i will go back in Nov

Waitress mistook our order ..salad with chicken was served instead of chicken enchiladas we ordered..and we still had to pay for it! She didn't understsnd it was wrong. We finaly got enchiladas... Sauce was so hot..but had no flavor I had odered a tostada...came toe dripping inwater..no crunch... No beans

Food is ok but the service is a hit or miss. Sometimes I get great service and others I get mediocre service. Once I had a phone order, I picked up my food and went home to see they didn't get my order correct. I called them and the girl said she read my order on the phone but she didn't. She said if I wanted to make another order but denied because I didn't want to wait 20 minutes more and drive back. I would've given a 4 if the employee didn't lié about saying about reading my order.

Honestly this place is a miss. Take out orders are ALWAYS wrong even when I ask to repeat the orders on the phone several times. Once I show up they assure its right & of course its not. Wish the food was better I really wanted to like this place but based on the food I've tasted- tacos, sushi, & shrimp plates its below average. Asada meat dry, sushiflavorless & small, & rice on plates hard. Hope they step it up soon.

Went to pick up an order and I waited an hour and ten minutes. People that arrived after me got their orders first.

The tortas there are bad, all they put in them is lettuce tomato and meat. Like come on they should improve their tortas add beans or something. I could of gotten this in subway.

Service was horrible there was a worker sitting down eating while taking orders , no customer service , they never came to check on me she sat there eating her food then getting up ringing up customers , very unprofessional after she rung me out she sat down and continued eating without bothering to wash her hands , bad experience

To my surprise my party of 6 including two kids, automatically had the 18% gratuity included as if we were a party of over 8 in some fancy place for horrible service 🤦🏻‍♂️ constantly had to call another waiter which I understood they were busy but if the tip is included and I still have to do someone else’s job then that is unacceptable. This restaurant was my go to and now it’s regrettably the last place I’d come to.

She brought a michelada and a chavela told her we didn’t want michelada just chavela and an adios. She rolled her eyes and gave it to a random guy sitting across from us. She brought an adios that genuinely tasted like soda,”and ive had some pretty weak adios’s” this one took the cake,almost as if it was made purposely weak for some unknown reason 🙄 .we watched 3 families of 4+ come in after us,waited over 40 minutes,watched them all receive their meals before us,only for our waitress to return and ask if we were ready to order 😤 we paid for drinks and left,as she let out a sigh and gave us another eye roll

Loved the place at first but over time the food is plain and doesn’t have flavor at all. The ceviche is bland and tasteless. As for the chips and salsa, they were absolutely disgusting straight up tomatoe juice.

We drove 3 hours and the food was undercooked and there food was unseasoned . the tortillas was doughy. All the food came late and the kids meal came last because they forgot it .They never brought us out utensils. The fish smelled really bad. Adding on the ceviche tasted fishy and bland . Overall Very bad service and very disappointed in the food quality. Wont come here again!

Food has been good which is why I was a regular customer when I’m in the area however my first actually visit to this place of business did not go well I ordered the Agua Chile’s as usual which says it $16.50 I was charged $19.50 I was told they did a price change on the menu when I showed them what the prices were online and also my delivery receipts from the November 9th and 10th I was charged the correct price and told next time I would pay more. When I finally ate my food it was not good the taste was not what I usually ordered not sure if they have a new cook but not satisfied at all!!!

After being a party of 6 they add on top of their high prices 18% of tip almost 50$ for having the worst service, they took more than 40 mins to bring our food and by the time it got to our table it was cold. Food is ok but service is the worst. At the end i wanted a break down of what we where paying for and waitress was rude all waitresses are rude they do not make you feel welcome. Went 2 wks ago. I will not go again!! This plc used to have great service and food, not anymore. I do not recommend this plc. Chairs a filthy, decor is Beer, beer and more beer. I counted 13 beer signs. If someone is sitting at the bar it is difficult to get to the other side of the restaurant without disturbing the person at the bar. It took 8 min to get salsa and chips. It seems not long but there was only 1 other table occupied. Then it took another 7 min for the server to return with the chips. She left then came back after 6 min to take our drink order. Another gentleman came in. When we finally got our Large drinks it was a 20 oz. cup filled with ice and little soda, I beleive u get just one refill. After that you repay. The server then came and gave the gentleman his chips. No hello no smile. She went back to the bar. It wasn't until 8 min later that another server walked in the door and she came to take our food order. The gentleman got up and left. He wasnt waiting. My husband got a shrimp cocktail, my daughter got the kids rice, beans and 6 shrimp. The shrimp was not seasoned, not even with salt, just boiled. My sons got a quesadilla and I got a milanese torta. The quesadilla was oily, and my torta wasnt toasted and the bread was stiff and was most of the sandwich, the milanese was ok, not great. Then the server came to the empty table where the gentleman was, took the chips and salsa and put it back into the chip pile and the salsa back in the bowl. GROSS After we finished my husband went to pay, the register is literally on the same counter as the kitchen counter. We paid $67 for the crappy service and OK food. I have paid 80 at Olive Garden , that include never ending soup,salad and bread sticks, not to mention the Soda. I will NOT return to this plc. And I do not recommend anyone to go here either, unless you like to be ignore, ok food, and high prices.

This place has terrible service. We sat waiting for service for about 20 minutes before we got up and left. We weren’t given menus or acknowledged at all, the bleach blonde waitress didn’t even look in our direction the multitude of times she came out to the patio, but did spend a considerable amount of time hugging and kissing on two guys who walked in after us. It was then she offered to redue my order which by then everyone else was done eating! This use to be a good place to eat. Now I don't recommend. It at all. It gotten to expensive and the service and taste is horrible! The restrooms were nasty doors don't lock. Women's restroom door is very hard to open. The added the gratitude which I don't agree with because the service was terrible. Never did they came to offer us refills or to check up on us. WE had to call out for the service! The total cost for 3 tortas, the sauce on the side a 3 cokes was $83.64. Please think twice about going to this establishment. They are highway robbers! I will let everyone we know of our experience and advise them not to eat at a establishment that doesn't care about the clientele.

Although, the restaurant only had two other tables, the service was incredibly slow, more than 30 minutes went by and we were still waiting for our order. When the food arrived, my food order was incorrect. The waitress offered to change it, and returned moments later with my food. Either way, the food tasted pretty plain. Our group size:5 What I ordered: Huarache de cabeza and a Jarritos soda.

I give them a star because they lied. I told them the Tacos if they were regular size small when I got them, there was too big and I really don’t like tacos looking like burritos that’s why I give them a star and then they’re very expensive. I’m not coming next time here.

Waited 20 min more and I noticed 2 tables of groups of people that came after me, had gotten their food. Soon, another waitress said they'd give me my food right there and there. I think I overheard the cooks laughing at me when the waitress asked them. Since quesadilla was almost done, I decided to just take it to go. That was my Sunday Night. Terrible service! I don’t plan to ever go back there again.

We stopped for a work lunch today, this was my first time here. Although, the restaurant only had two other tables, the service was incredibly slow, more than 30 minutes went by and we were still waiting for our order. When the food arrived, my food order was incorrect. The waitress offered to change it, and returned moments later with my food. Either way, the food tasted pretty plain. Our group size:5 What I ordered: Huarache de cabeza and a Jarritos soda.
