Coahoma Cafe

I decided to stop and see what was poppin food wise at this joint and I was not disappointed. I ordered the Chicken Swiss and it was very good. The mashed potatoes was very good as well. I will definitely go back.

Im not sure why I haven't tried this place before. Its close to where I am staying while working out here and it exactly my cup of tea. Wonderful owner and staff and even though they ran out of the special tonight, it was not a deal killer because i was actually seeking the CFS and it didn't disappoint. Will be back.

This is a great family style restaurant with down home charm. The food is excellent and just like home. This restaurant has the best chicken fried steak in Howard county in my opinion.

Been working around Cahoma and finalky stopped and ate breakfast here. This was fast and friendly, the food was outstanding and reasonable. The pancakes where the size of my plate. Highly recommend!

Had a party of 8 and paid about $130. Not bad at all, and for the price the food was amazing. One can nitpick about slow service and the fries being a little floppy. But the main course completely made up for it. The chicken was amazing clean and juicy. I had the "Mad pitbull" (Jal burger) the burger was awesome, good and juicy. If you've got time, it's definitely worth a stop.

The burger was very good. My waitress Megan was very nice.I will be back. If you are are hungry and in Coahoma, tx stop by and get some good food. The staff is very nice people. Love small town cafe's.

I usually don’t give 5 stars on places while I’m traveling, due to the fact I pick odd places to eat, but this was pretty good! I was greeted quickly and I got to pick where I sat. The man who served me was very polite and was overall a great guy to talk to. Food was better than expected and very quickly brought out to me. If you are traveling in the area around lunch or dinner, I’d recommend going to this place.

Omg omg omg recommend 100 out of 10…. Best food I have ever had!! The bull dog was perfect!! Salad was more than a piece of lettuce… they truly care about there customers.. if you are driving Thur you have to stop! I could not eat all of my plate way too much food!

Great breakfast and good service!! Update: Food has went down hill. Burgers were overcooked. Fried mushrooms are pre-made and a smaller portion than it used to be. Just wasn't that great, and hoping it was a fluke!! ☹️☹️

There isn't anything at Mary's Cafe that isn't good. The food is awesome and the staff are as well. The fish and shrimp on Friday's is so good along with everything in the menu. The special on Wednesday is ribeye and they are very good. If you're traveling on I-20 and you get to Coahoma, stop at Mary's Cafe, sign still says Coahoma Cafe, you will not be disappointed. The tea is good as well, we get ours to go.

They're always super friendly. The food is always good. You get a lot of food for low price. It's well worth checking out and ever since we moved here we try to go once a week.

Home cooking at it's finest. Great food and service. It can definitely get busy at lunch but they do take call in orders and offer a drive up window.

Love the food and staff at this place. Their burgers are amazing. The only thing i would change is the gross carpet in the dining area. Not very sanitary.

I ordered the chicken fried steak with brown gravey on the mash and white on the steak, green beans, and roll. 😋 It was on a short wait for the piping hot food to arrive at the table. It was all delicious. I did add salt and pepper.

Best home style cooked food I've had in a long time!!! Almost everything is made from scratch, the rolls are fresh 2. Food came out fast everything was fresh made to order. The appetizers were good as well, the Buffalo ranch cheese fries!!! The servers & owner were nice.

Great hometown cooking but the servers could be dressed a little more appropriately, in my opinion. A tank top and short shorts (especially when you don’t have the body for it) is not attractive. I know it’s close to the oil field and maybe you get attention from all the men in the oilfield but geez, I would suggest some dignity honestly. And then there’s the ones that look like they just got out of bed to come to work and haven’t even combed their hair. This place could use some good old fashioned pride.

First food was delicious but it's the staff that takes away the stars they do not pay attention to you at all, our server cashed us out and then followed us outside shouting that we didn't pay? Instead they spend their time talking to their friends or simply amongst them selves. But food was very good.

Went here for lunch just for the Fish and shrimp on Fridays, I waited for over 30 minutes and still didn’t get my food. Needless to say, I did not have lunch that day, and I had to go back to work. When I told them I couldn’t wait any longer they didn’t bother saying u can just get it to go or nothing…

Sit waiting for 15 min at a dirty table waiting to get served. Never even got a drink or even a acknowledged that I was there, Don’t waste your time to even stop by.

Not sure about the food. Came in, sat down and watched as several tables were sat and served. Never brought me a menu or took my drink order. I left quietly.

The service was great, but when we got our food some of it was cold the gravy was hotter than both of our steaks my husband got a potato and it barely melted the butter
