The food is not the reason for the five stars. The pizza was good (I'm picky with pizza), the boneless wings are worth their weight in gold. The reason I gave them five stars is because of a mistake they made and the way they handled it. It was a minor issue but they took it very seriously and went out of their way to correct it. I also chalk the mistake up to them being new and busy. It was literally the first day of business for them and I hope they stick around. Me and my wife will definitely be back.

I frequently eat here and my favorite is their Lamb Over Rice. Its very tasty. My family loves the Combo Over Rice. They are very accommodating to my requests for customizing. Every time I come there the atmosphere is great, everyone is smiling and friendly. The food is always cooked just right and never hesitant on the high quality. The staff take their job very seriously and have an abundance of passion to put on all their dishes. I’ve never been unsatisfied with any of the food I order. I went to Island Eatz in Cohoes tonight and had such an amazing experience! The girl who helped me, Sammi, was absolutely incredible. Nowadays it’s rare to walk into a place and be greeted with a genuine smile and someone who is truly happy to serve you — but Sammi did just that. She was juggling the phones and customers but never once made me feel like a burden, even when I asked a ton of questions about the menu. She answered everything with patience and a smile, never missing a beat! I ended up ordering two large pizzas (light on the sauce) and mozzarella sticks. The food came out quickly and OMG — the pizza was phenomenal! They actually listened and made it light on the sauce, and it was absolutely mouthwatering. The mozzarella sticks had the perfect cheese pull, just the right amount of crispiness, and were cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely be going back and recommending Island Eatz to all my friends. As long as Sammi is there, they’ve got a permanent customer in me!

This is my second order with Island Eatz. The first order it was pretty simple cheese, pizza, and a salad. The next order was a pretty big big order because I was so impressed with the pizza and the salad. I ordered baked ziti, pepperoni, pizza, and another salad and a Philly cheesesteak with no peppers no onions and provolone cheese, which was the opposite of what I received. I felt like there were more peppers and onions than meat. Now my recommendation, since I’ve been a tugboat Tavern frequent visitor to order a Philly cheesesteak and see the difference. It’s quite large. I would love to see Penny alla Vodka on the menu + a focused staff to pay attention to orders placed.

Thought we’d try this new place”on the island” bc we’re always looking for the best pizza . We thought the crust and toppings were fine but the sauce was a little meh-no spices or rang really. I really wish they used pieces of real, ungraded and processed chicken for their boneless wings and other items. Chicken nuggets don’t do the job. PLEASE CHANGE THE CHICKEN. PLEASE!!! That’s my only complaint. A big complaint, but only complaint. The employees are hard working, quick, accommodating, and sincerely kind folk. Overwhelmingly good food. We go to Island Eatz, at least once a week. They have my business; I just order whole wings instead of boneless. Thank you guy for your professionalism and love of food, Jefrey

Troubling that most of the 5star reviews here are first time posters and all sound the same. And so many in the short period and of time they've been open The pizza was good. Basic. decent crust, sauce, cheese. Nothing stood out The boneless wings were awful. Frozen discount supermarket brand chicken nuggets in a flavorless sauce. Took a bite and trashed them Appreciate the credit card machine doesn't "have a question to ask me" Probably get another pizza as they're convenient. Won't order anything else

on wed i ordered pizza and wings .. wasn’t soo good .. came back on thursday to give it another try.. i got a chicken parmigiana meal it was terrible the noodles was over cooked the the breading on chicken was falling off smh .. albany food taste better

Everything in the restaurant is Frozen nothing fresh except the pizza and that was cold flavorless and they are not pet friendly actually anti pets they won't even let you sit outside while waiting for food

They’re Not too friendly with the (African American) community .. i stopped going there after.. i got a few side eyes from the employees!! each visit!! ..

I ordered here for the first time. I ordered online. I'm severely allergic to all milk. I put in all caps no cheese on sandwich and garlic knots. My sandwich and garlic knots came with cheese. The fries were steal and uncooked. They tasted like they were a week old. I called them and told the lady what was going on and she sent me to the "delivery guy". I thought that was odd but what ever. I told him and he got really rude and said there is no cheese on those things. He said I was lying about the cheese that my cooks would wouldn't do that. So he called me a lier then said no I'm not calling u a lier but continued to tell me there was no cheese in it. He said send me a picture and I will refund your money for that food (never gave me that refund). So I sent him picture of the food and had the audacity tontell me thats not cheese but it was. The garlic knots clearly had cheese all over it. Called him out on it and he said thats garlic parmesan on the garlic knots-sent us a picture of cheese as if we didn't know what cheese was. That he made the food. I said yes cheese on it. And then said thought u had cooks and u were the delivery guy. He got even more mad. He said in a text (at this point it was in a text). He said he was the cook, manager and the delivery guy. Couldn't believe this was happening. At this point I told him give me my money back he stopped responding. I dont know how he has a 4.8 star. DONT GO HERE IF U WANT RESPECT AND GOOD SERVICE.

The food was very dry, takes rubbery. Like box frozen food heated up. Not tasteful at all. $80 down the drain. I called to let them know before I even left this review because my kids were upset and so was I. We can’t even eat the food. Didn’t even give me enough dressing for the salad . The pizza was barely sauce under the cheese. The boneless wings were saturated in grease and not even fresh cut meat , it was frozen meat they fried, the mozzarella sticks were also from box, none of this food taste remotely freshly made meaning authentic food, it taste more like mystery meat . I was calling to give my honest review because it was my first time and I was told by manager “I leave bad reviews “ yes when the food is bad, I absolutely will when I’m spending $80 for some nasty mystery processed frozen food instead of freshly made food. I will take the loss because they won’t refund me and I told them it’s okay. I cried and hung up because me and my kids won’t be able to even enjoy or eat the dinner I bought tonight,and I have to throw away the food. I do not leave bad reviews when the food is good! But when I’m being honest “I’m the problem” for wanted good food ??! Ok sir. You keep the money but karma is all I know. Because I was being genuine. Just because others may like it, they used to nasty food . I refuse to settle for less when I know I deserved better food than this. Taste like something you serve to people who don’t care what they eat. But I do especially when my kids have to eat it. The quality of the food to me was awful and I stand on that. I WILL TAKE THE LOST . But never again will I order from here. The only nice thing about this was the sweet driver that delivered the food !! That’s all I can say and the nice lady who took my order but the food is not good ! It taste like frozen box food !! From bjs or Sam’s or some wholesale place , not actual fresh food!! So if you want box food, which most are used to!! This is why I cook at home!! Fresh food but I wanted a break from cooking and treat my kids for take out ! Never again ! Honest review! If you want fresh made food! This ain’t it! Box frozen processed food ! Good luck is all I can say to you!! 😠😠
