I can’t say enough good things about O’Leary’s. For me, it checks all the boxes, and I’ve made some great memories here. My friends and I always have a good time. My favorite drink is a whiskey sour and the bartenders at O’Leary’s make it just the way I like it. Not too watered down, but not overwhelmingly strong either. It’s also fair to mention that I NEVER feel ignored here. Even when it’s crowded the staff is quick to take my order at the bar, which can be difficult at a place like this. The vibe here is what kept me coming back. The music is well chosen and whenever I’m here I never fail to meet some interesting people. Well priced drinks keep you feeling good the whole night. Come here with your friends and I promse you guys will have a great time. This place has been around so long for a reason!

If I had a beer for every time I had a good night here, I’d probably have a keg’s worth already. It’s seriously a low key and fun bar. I can’t recall the name of the two bar tenders who always seem to be there on the nights my friends and I stop by (probably because I’m always drunk) but they definitely make a world of difference. My favorite nights to go out here are Friday’s but I could easily see it being just as fun on any given night. One of the main things I look for at most bars is good music and O’leary’s always has something good playing. Not to mention the prices here are unbeatable! Although I don’t live nearly as close as I wish I did, I still keep making the trips back and highly recommend giving it a try. Just be sure to expect having an incredible night out!!

Great spot to unwind especially with some good friends. I always get quick drinks and big laughs when I come here :). This is a comfortable place where you feel safe to have a little fun. I’ve been coming for awhile but in recent months O’leary’s has been stepping up their game. When you are as familiar with the place as me, you notice the small little changes that go on behind the scenes. I’m not sure exactly what they’ve done — but it’s working! They’ve started serving good food, adding more drink options and the service by the bar has become top notch. O’Leary’s understands the community in Troy and that’s why this spot always delivers a good experience. I’ve made a ton of friends here and I credit that to the vibrant atmosphere O’leary’s creates. My .02 is that you should stop in for a drink! Highly recommend!

I want to call this a hole in the wall bar because of its location but the amount of people that come here on the weekends prevents me from doing so. Nonetheless, I've had a fantastic weekend every weekend that i've been here. The atmosphere here is just very laid back and chill. It doesn't take a lot for me to have a good night so this place has all the essentials I look for: 1. Great drinks at a decent price (pro tip: food is also incredible drunk food) 2. Speedy service: you won't be standing around for a drink as often as at other places 3. Fun music to jam out to (get ready for the occasional Drake sing alongs) 4. Floors aren't sticky haha - some of the bars i've been to have sticky floors (probably from beer spills that weren't properly cleaned up), which is definitely not a pretty sight. Every time I bring a new friend here they end up loving it just as much as I do, so if you also look for any of the things mentioned above in a bar, I'd say you're in luck and you're probably in the area if you're reading this too. No reason to say no or miss out on a fun night out.

Sounds like a fun place. Google Maps says they are open until 2:00 a.m. Just call before you go. I'm from out of town. I walked a mile to get there and they are closed at midnight on a tuesday. I'm not mad. I needed the exercise. I will try again if I'm ever back. It's not the bars fault what Google Maps say but I'm disappointed because I wanted a bourbon. Aw hell.... maybe I should quit drankin and go to church. This is probably the Lawd trying to convince me to quit drankin... (hiccup)...
