Great little spot that serves our late night community well. Usually I’ll grab a few slices to go but I was craving something different tonight so I got a cheeseburger. Damn, normally you wouldn’t expect a good burger from a pizza joint but I was pleasantly surprised, and they didn’t skimp on fries either! Perfect medium, seasoned well, and the toppings weren’t soggy. Awesome! Definitely worth it

The big apple provides quality pizza for the entire area, at all hours one could want pizza. There's coupons too, although they are sort of confusing on which are.able to be used, so I took a star off. Love the chicken bella pizza! Very unique. The crust has a taste similar to garlic bread which defines a big apple pizza. Give it a try!

My Boo had a long day at work and wanted to take out. We decided to go with Big Apple. So we called and the Gentlemen Nate answered the phone who has the most amazing customer service for sure .. Tastes amazing and they have like literally everything you can think of. Cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, wings, calzones, and pizza of course. Really good stuff, and the guys there are super nice. Perfect for a college kid like me who needed stuff to eat for a few days while the dining hall is closed. I recommend the calzone, its pretty much everything you could want from one.

Great atmosphere and persistent quality to service. I came in at 1am and wanted a beef schwarma gyro but there was none left and the worker literally left the store and came back with fresh hot beef within a minute and said he can make my order. Definitely would recommend service and come back again.

I come to this place a lot. I have always had a good time, and enjoyed the pizza. The staff is very nice, and the restaurant itself feels very similar to many other pizza places I have been to and enjoyed. I would recommend if you are looking to grab a quick bite

Have gluten free pizza! Are knowledgeable about gluten containing ingredients—when ordering a pizza with chicken the worker who answered the phone made sure to let me know that the chicken is breaded and not gluten free, and helped give me specialty pizza options that would be gluten free. The best pizza I have had in capital region. Perfectly crispy crust and a good ratio of sauce to cheese. It was not very greasy, even though I had pepperoni as a topping, which was very nice. The workers were very nice. I will definitely be back and try more of their menu.

Flew out to visit RPI when I was in high school over a decade ago. This place had the best pizza I'd ever had. Ended up going to a different college but always remembered the pizza here. Visited again recently. In a decade, tastes can change. Quality can change. I actually debated whether to go back, because I didn't want to ruin the good memory. Well I went back, and I'm glad I did. This is still the best pizza I've ever had!

Ordered 2 cheese pizzas, each was $10 which was a good deal. The guy gave us 11 plates which was funny because it was just two of us each eating one pizza LOL. But it was good, took about 20 mins to be prepared but it was also the middle of a snow storm so they were probably low on staff, so it's possible they're usually quicker.

As an RPI student, I really appreciate the late night hours- in my hometown everything is closed by 10pm. $11.07 for a pepperoni and 2 cheese slices not too bad compared to other stuff in the area. Pepperoni slice wasn’t really heated all the way through but I was starving so still ate it quickly 😊

Top pizza in town hands down. One bite into this beauty and you get transformed into heaven and back. Don’t forget to say hi to Jesus on your way. The clerk at the desk, I believe his name is Kaan, is a distinguished gentleman who makes sure that our trip to and from the Pizza Heaven is seamless. Also try their baklava, it’s the king of Turkish delights.

The food is allways consistently good but the reason for my review is bc the delivery driver sat outside my house for 25 mins i didnt know they never called me i went out and he got out of his car finally but my food was by then not hot and became soggy bc of the steam it created so instead of enjoying my dinner i had to reheat everything

We ordered a vegetarian 12" pizza. Came well packed and with a fair helping of all the necessary ingredients that make for a good pizza, plus the fact I had ordered an extra helping of black olives which went down very well. Wish they had included some ketchup too.

I left a bad review yesterday, but I deleted it. My Mediterranean pizza last night looked perfect, but was bland. Today I figured out how to fix it. I put salt on it and then it was delicious. First time in my life I put salt on pizza. All the toppings were fresh and lots of feta cheese. For some reason it needs salt otherwise doesn't taste like anything. I will order from them again. Was worth the money.

We have ordered from here numerous times. While the food is usually good what we get can be a different story from what we ordered. Even from order to order. For example, the first time I ordered the BLT wrap it came with onions (which was fine by me) and mayo plus a side of fries. This time? A ton of bacon (microwaved but it's ok) one slice of very smushed thin tomatoe, no onions, and NO mayo! Last time we didn't get fries with our wraps so we called and were told they don't come with them so we ordered fries. And we got fries with the wraps and 2 extra sides. My daughter never orders anything with tomatoes because of an allergy and last order there were some on her sandwich. We were told that they prepare different things in different areas which as they explained is why sometimes things get missed. Not a good excuse. Simple fix. One place for items as they are completed and ONE person who checks to make sure all the order is completed correctly. At least dessert isn't ever messed up.

If you're an RPI student who's up all night working on assignments and this place is within walking distance of where you live, pay it a visit before it's too late. It will make your night a lot more tolerable. Compared to other pizza places I've visited, I do not think this place matches the same level of quality, but it is very accessible and it contains a wide variety of options and deals to choose from.

I cannot for the life of me understand how these people continue to screw up our orders, especially since they're not complicated and we rarely order during peak hours. And this is every time. It's almost like they have zero reading comprehension when making and putting together the orders. It's obnoxious.

Service was outstanding. The food was typical college drunken food, and we placed our order at 6pm. Not a place I would go to again or recommend to any friends or family. The wings were under cooked. The pizza was over cooked.

Used to come here all the time and it was my favorite place in Troy for pizza. Last time they messed my order up, they fixed it and gave me a free drink but I was still annoyed it took so long just for two slices. I decided to give them one final try and the guy quickly sets the money down on the counter right next to my extended hand which just made me feel unwelcome. Pizza itself was mediocre nothing like what it used to be. I’ll just save my money.

Garlic parm wings had no flavor and were just super oily. Pizza was good but the guy ringing me out was rude and couldn’t even bother to say you’re welcome after I said thank you a bunch of times or make eye contact once

Wanted to try somewhere new. Ordered delivery: XL Meat Lovers, Burek, a 2-Liter, and a dessert. Main number was disconnected so I called the number on the back. Guy on the phone was friendly enough and suggested the dessert. Delivery was fast and friendly so I left a big tip for the driver. The food was disappointing to say the least. The Burek was awesome! And the 2-Liter was cold which was nice. Unfortunately, that's probably all I'd order again. The pizza was EXTREMELY scant on toppings for a $23 "Gourmet/Specialty" pizza, and lacked flavor. As for the dessert? Well, they forgot it, so I'm not sure how their desserts are. They have an impressive amount of them, though. Having read other reviews, I know I'm not alone when I say the pizza sucks, especially for the price. My advice to the company is change the name to just "Big Apple" and stop doing pizza. Just stick to Mediterranean/Middle Eastern. It's already difficult to enter the pizza market in Troy, and other businesses have been around longer, have better quality, and are cheaper in price. Pizza is a passion, not a product. I didn't call to complain because I was hungry and knew I was gonna eat it anyway. It's just disappointing to get pizza from a "pizzeria", pay $23, and get... something worth maybe $10. Yes, technically it had all the ingredients that go on a meat lovers, but barely. I'm not writing this to complain, steer away business or get anything. I'm writing this to hopefully inspire change, but reviews like this are consistent, so it's unlikely. "I won't complain, I just won't come back"

I used to order from here all the time. But the quality lately has been so inconsistent it isn't worth the gamble anymore. Save your money, go elsewhere. Tonight I received a tiramisu that looked like someone had already eaten 3/4 of it. I won't make this mistake again.

Decided to give a new place to try highly disappointed!!! If I could give ZERO stars I would. Spent 80$ for the pizza to come looking like this! Mozzarella sticks had hard cheese in them. Ordered my wings split half hot half garlic parm they clearly didn’t make that right gave the full order all garlic parm. Called to complain & the man was literally screaming at me! was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The chicken Alfredo I ordered was nothing short of a disaster. The bread served was so hard it could have broken teeth, the pasta lacked any semblance of Alfredo sauce, and to add insult to injury, the chicken was breaded when it should have been grilled or sautéed. The wait time was excruciatingly long, only to be met with subpar food quality. I had high hopes for a delicious meal, but alas, it was a complete letdown.

I call for delivery and it took 10 min just to have my address written down. I ordered a pizza and 12 wings and sat at home waiting over two hours for my delivery. There is absolutely no way my food will be hot on arrival. Canceled order and will no be ordering from this place again.

35 dollars for a 12 cut Sicilian pizza . Dough cooked prior to preparing. Meat and vegetables still hard not cooked with the pizza. Meatballs and ham thrown on and cold. Not an Italian pizza place experience . Go to Defazios. The best in Troy and in the capital region. Also fake reviews from friends and others for this place are not valid. Pizza tasted like Domino’s. Garlic knots were tough and chewy and had no garlic flavor at all. Mozzarella sticks were cold with the cheese completely solid in the middle like string cheese, and the breading tough and chewy instead crispy. Marinara sauce was cold and solid.

Ordered chicken over rice rice was hard and dry chicken was hard and dry…couldn’t even eat it it was so bad the dog didn’t even want it…you call them and tell them and they do nothing offer you a 5 dollar credit..for what never ordering from there again

I ordered cheese fries like the big back i am. The website shows nacho dipping cheese at the cheese type. I ordered stating to have the cheese on the side and i get home and they put some sprinkled mozzarella cheese in a cup. Now this isn’t the cheese advertised on the website. Disappointed!

Do not order extra cheese. It was a gross amount and got all over the inside of the box during delivery. You couldn't even pick up the slice. very few other toppings other than a mound of cheese, which really didn't taste very good. I ended up throwing it out, which is a shame because I spent good money on the pizza. It was inedible. I also got boneless wings with a very skimpy amount of barbecue sauce. Overall not impressed.

Got Alfredo ziti and they put it in the oven or a salamander and it broke whatever “sauce” there was. It was a pile of butter, no flavor, the chicken wasn’t good either. Ordered at 7. Order finished at 7:40, wasn’t delivered until 9. When it arrived, food was cold, soggy, and awful. I ordered a chicken Alfredo slice and I received a Chicken and broccoli???? I was NOT asked if that swap out was okay. Apparently, they were out of chicken Alfredo but just chose to replace it with something that ended up being STALE and rock hard. When I called, they said they just didn’t think about it like that (you mean asking the customer if it was okay to swap out the pizza for a completely different kind? Made with olive oil and bad chicken?) They offered to remake the food, and then argued about where the old food was when I came to pick up the new food. IN THE GARBAGE! It was so nasty. 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

If I could give it zero stars I would. I ordered a large pizza, a mt dew 2L and extra blue cheese and ranch. I received a floppy, cold pizza, a Pepsi 2L and didn’t get any blue cheese and ranch. I will make sure anyone who is thinking about going to big apple pizza doesn’t go. Ever. Do your job. It isn’t that hard. I promise you. I’m not one to leave reviews, but I paid for items I never got and the items I did get are trash. Do better. I will never and no one who I know is going to big apple again.

We will never order from this place again! Number one a pizza came and the cheese was falling off of it! I called to complain and I was told I would get a phone call back but to send a text message of a picture of the pizza that was delivered! I did that, not only was the cheese all in the box but the pizza was cold and nasty! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Then the so-called manager tried to explain to me how it was the driver's fault because we ordered extra cheese and try to tell me what the pizza was supposed to look like!? Like really?? Ordered a pizza and wings all drums (paid extra for all drums). Got mostly flats and the pizza had one meatball. I would recommend Armantes or La casa at least you get what you paid for. Also the 5 star reviews are from employees and family.

I went to get a slice and I was shocked to hear that it was $4 and some chance, no big deal, I was hungry so I didn’t care, just thought that was a lot for ONE slice, the slice I chose must’ve been sitting there for hours, after he heated it up and gave it to me, it was very crispy and stiff and you could just tell it was sitting there for hours. If you’re gonna charge $5 for a slice, at least have fresher pizza! I went at 2 am, but they close at 4am. So there’s really no excuse.

I called to order from this place and they didn’t answer the phone so I went online and ordered for delivery. Well it was supposed to get here by 8:30 but didn’t get here until 8:50. Everything was lukewarm at best. In the notes I requested the wings be extra crispy extra saucy and they were somehow burnt yet soggy?? And maybe a small amount of sauce at the bottom: photo for reference. I’ve never had any issue with this place in the two other times I’ve ordered from here but this is actually insane and I am so disappointed.

This isn’t the first time we had a bad experience but after tonight this took the cake. The first time I called to make a complaint a month or 2 ago I was told by the gentleman that answered the phone how he was supposed to believe me that the pizza was ice cold and was pretty much in a “professional” sense to deal with it and still gave them a chance because there food used to be amazing. Idk in what world in makes sense to put all the heavy stuff on top of the box but could have been excused if the food was good but was mediocre at best. If your gonna do take out save your money this place has completely gone down hill.
