Potbelly is my go-to for a reliably delicious lunch! The Wreck sandwich is a masterpiece—warm, toasty, and loaded with amazing meats. Their milkshakes are the perfect creamy finish. Fast service, friendly staff, and great food. It's the classic neighborhood sandwich shop experience done right. Highly recommend!
Great and fresh ingredient. And the size of a sandwich is great! The choices are varied and the food is fresh . The best sub is the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich . Give it a try. Potbelly has a great atmosphere and enough space to dine in and study and work.
Thane’s service was exceptional. I was having a bad day, but this interaction alone made my day a lot better. Will be returning to this store again sometime.
Right across the street from campus, it's an easy walk. I ordered the combo, where you get a "skinny" sandwich and a soup for $9.99. Even though it said "skinny" sandwich, it was larger than I thought and enough food. The place has big windows that let a lot of natural light in and was easily the most or one of the most clean food places near campus. Music was quiet and nice, the staff were kind, and the food was pretty good. Overall it was a great experience, would love to come back.
I’ve been ordering here since the start of my freshmen year and I have to say, the accuracy, customer service, and quality that comes with my orders have always been top-notch. There was one time a long time ago that my order was a bit wrong and when I told them, they immediately apologized and worked quickly to fix my order. Overall, this Potbelly is truly a treat.
Located at North Gate in College Station, this is a great place to get a sub. They have a variety of options at very affordable prices. I got a skinny chicken club sandwich (skinny being their smallest size) and it was pretty filling for the size and price. Definitely recommend checking it out. I'm personally gonna head here a few more times for sure
Promise I'm not spam 😂I had a great experience here. First, the pizza sub...yes. Second, the guy that works here Curtis was so kind. haven't had that good service in a hot minute. If you want good food and nice people to talk with, come here. 😁👍
Food is good but the ordering at the restaurant is a bit chaotic. I got the "A Wreck" original size sandwich in wheat. Very simple. But I had to basically yell everything to the person behind the counter because there is a ton of noise in the kitchen. I get that like baking and what not can be a noisy ordeal but that's why restaurants usually have the ordering area a bit closed off from the kitchen. Also the counter tops are way high up while you're supposed to say if you want anything else on it after it's been toasted. I'm at least tall enough to see over this counter, but barely, and I'm 6 feet tall. I can't imagine how it'd go for someone that's short. Aside from that it's a great place. The vibe inside almost reminds me of some 6th street Austin bars. Everyone was nice enough. If you sign up with the app as a first timer, right now anyway, you can redeem a free original sandwich on your next visit. So i'll certainly be doing that soon! Oh, there was also a survey via email for a free cookie. So... cool. I like free stuff. See y'all soon.
The sandwiches are great. The amount of selections of what is inside the sandwich are little. The decoration of the restaurant is old and I know how Potbelly started their business, but they should upgrade their game to compete with other competitors. I have tried it in Dubai and it tastes much better. The restroom soup and napkins are not working and the sink is in bad condition. They need to work on cleaning the restaurant more often. The prices are a bit high. That's why it is usually not crowded.
I’ve been coming to potbelly for awhile and my only complaint is that sometimes the lettuce they provide for their salads isn’t always fresh. Sometimes it’s wilted and a little gross. Also, when you place a mobile pick up order the food is almost never ready by the time the app says it will be. Those things aside, potbelly has a lot of great options on their menu and the indoor dining area is nice and welcoming.
The sandwichs they service are a good change from subway which is located very close to it. I went there a few times and enjoyed the sandwichs that they serve. They are like deli but they heat them up. The decor is also a good place to be and the cost is not too bad. Overall, a good place for lunch.
I have mixed feelings (in-store dining experience): Pros: * The food was both very fresh and delicious. * The staff were friendly. * They carry my favorite chips (Zappos). Cons: * There is no parking lot or free parking for this restaurant. If you are not walking or biking, you will have to pay to park. The closest parking is about 8 paid spots at the corner, along the side street, IF they are available... There were no close handicap parking *that we could find*. (This may not be a con for some.) * The cost is not entirely unreasonable, but I feel that there are better options for me for what I spent. (~$40 for 2 people not including tip, so this may or may not be applicable to others.) Neutral: * Be aware they do not accept cash. It is card only. Overall, for about the same amount of money, I am more likely to go elsewhere that is closer to my home and has a parking lot.
We visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty inside. Staff was not very friendly. I've had better sandwiches. My boys loved their meatball sandwiches and that is where the 3 stars come from. We don't live close so driving to the Northgate location can be a chore. Customer service could really use some work.
I got a vanilla milk shake, they didn’t mix it well enough though because the top layer was basically all milk and the bottom half was primarily ice, also overpriced considering the small size
Food was good the first time I ate there and I was excited to eat there again. I think those of us who don't want to order Jimmy John's are actively looking for competition. I thought I had finally found it. I went on their website to order delivery and when I went to check out, the website automatically changed my delivery time to a whole different day. So I call the restaurant. I then get told that the manager doesn't "want" to deliver it and that they stop delivering at 6:30. First of all, it's bad business sense to stop delivering at 6:30 on a Friday night. Second of all, if your site says you deliver, you should honor that. And finally, if you CAN'T honor that, then fix your website.
Never coming here again. This is the second time I’ve ordered a sandwich from them and received almost no meat on my sandwich. $10 for a turkey sandwich that has ONE slice of meat on it. Are you kidding me? You lost us as customers because this is not the first time it has happened and I am very disappointed. In the picture you see it has more cheese on it than meat 😭 what a rip off!
Not fresh at all. The apples are bad. They really stink!
Be careful they do not take cash here. Puts the poor servers in a very awkward position when folks come in order a full meal prepared to pay and they don’t take cash. Posted or not this is an unacceptable practice. Unfortunate but the owners of the business will learn …
If I could provide a -0 I definitely would. I called to inform the Manager on 9/7 around 9PM that my sandwich and my order was truly delivered by Ubereats and it’s unacceptable and I’m not eating a soggy sandwich. She directs me to ubereats. I didn’t want a refund, just a sandwich that’s not soggy, I’ve eaten potbelly several times and NEVER experienced this unprofessional attitude ever. So I asked for their names and they began making up false names and stated I will not get another sandwich because ubereats is third party and they delivered it, my response to the GM as she stated was her title that Uber did not make my sandwich, and she says to me “sometimes our tuna is a little wet”. Which seriously, isn’t the right thing to do. Replace the sandwich and provide customer service, instead she rather push blame on Ubereats and refuse to provide me with a fresh sandwich. I told her I would be willing to bring the untouched food items. And it went no where because she felt like I had an attitude and hung up on me. I’ll surely NEVER purchase from here ever again for one. But if this is the type of fast food workers we have at this location, it’s not worth my time and I prefer informing others so they are aware for future reference.
I was in the location located on University Dr. located across from Texas A&M University today around 3:00 in the afternoon with my family. I ordered an Italian on Flatbread. I asked for all of the ingredients except oil, and telling the employee twice, “no oil.” The employee placed all of the ingredients on the sandwich, including squeezing oil on it. As he wrapped the sandwich in paper I asked if he had put oil on and he said no. Not wanting to argue I took the sandwich. I got to the table and unwrapped the sandwich and it was dripping in oil and the paper wrapping was soaked with oil. The flatbread that was toasted crispy was soggy with oil. My wife took the sandwich to the register to ask for a replacement. She was told one was being made. After a few minutes, instead of delivering my sandwich the Manager, ******, came by the table and said it would take too long to wait for the rest of the customers to go through the line and then make my sandwich. She only offered a voucher for a sandwich on a future visit. She did not offer an apology, or a refund on the original sandwich. We asked for it to be remade. She said ok and walked away. We waited until the rest of the line was finished and still did not have a replacement sandwich. My wife went to check on the sandwich, but it was never made. She had to plead to get a refund. Sandwich issue aside, the manager was rude and not trained on how to handle the situation. She did not offer an apology, but only excuses for how the sandwich couldn’t be made quickly enough. Then, she didn’t even have the sandwich remade. At each instance, employees argued that the sandwich was made correctly and I was wrong in my assessment of it being soaked in oil. The type of service and behavior exhibited by the manager and employees involved was inexcusable, and unbecoming. Everyone in my party was put off by the experience and have no desire to visit again. It’s difficult to understand why I could not just get a replacement sandwich. I imagine the cost of the sandwich is relatively small. In this instance, the manager thought it was worth more than satisfying a hungry customer. That is not great. I emailed the contact below two weeks ago and have not heard back from anyone.
