Went here the Philly Jawn menu to celebrate my Birthday. It did not disappoint. The Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmigian, pasta and desserts were all well worth this visit. Definitely will be going back. Our server Mustafa was very attentive, each course was timed and definitely not rushed

This restaurant was out of this world. First of all they accommodated a vegan tasting menu for me (with 24 hours advanced notice) and my friend had the 7 fishes menu. The service was great and every dish was superior. Not to mention the homemade table bread was out of this world. Do not hesitate to give this place a try. Remember it's BYOB.🍷

A Lovely Mindset

We had such a lovely experience at Nunzio’s. We all wanted to eat at an Italian restaurant for our ladies night dinner. We were the first ones in when they opened, which gave us a chance to really enjoy the calm and cozy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and checked on us multiple times throughout the meal to make sure everything was perfect. We ordered mussels, the seafood platter, the half chicken dish, and raviolis—all of which were absolutely delicious. There wasn’t a single bite left on any of our plates! For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, and carrot cake. Every bite was sweet perfection. It’s BYOB. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxed and tasty dining experience. We already plan on coming back!

We did the Sunday menu, $50 for the entree, pasta choice, appetizer, and dessert. Food and service were impeccable. Especially loved the burata and calamari appetizers. My husband loved the dessert and beef medallion entree. BYOB but we forgot to pick up wine. They had a small selection of local wines that were well priced and we enjoyed a bottle of red. I highly recommend!

We stopped in Nunzios for dinner recently in Collingswood and man what a incredible experience. Every dish was presented beautifully and was seasoned to perfection. Each dish had levels of flavor and was executed flawlessly hats off to the chef. The decor inside the establishment is like your sitting outside dining how it’s designed. Its very cool and welcoming. Our server Tara was amazing she was spot on with everything and very kind and helpful. Overall we had such a great dining experience here and will happily be back to try new items on the menu. Definitely give them a try if your in the area you will not be disappointed!

We have been following Chef Michael Delone for years due to his exemplary culinary skills. When we found out he bought his mentor's restaurant, we were so excited to try the new menu. We've been there several times as Nunzio's has become one of our favorite restaurants. Some of our favorite dishes include: truffle gnocchi, any of Chef Mike's handmade pastas, the octopus, veal, arancini, zeppole, and more. His specials are to die for, all food is locally sourced from NJ farmers. Also brought people there for business dinners and they raved about it. Give it a try!

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and wow…the seafood is fresh, delicious, and just pure bliss in one’s mouth. The pasta and bread - perfect. Ambiance is gorgeous and very clean. Staff is super nice and service was great. We will be back! Definitely the most delicious Italian meal I have had in a long long time.

Super Impressed! We had a party of 6 for their “Feast of Seven Fishes” special menu. 4 Courses plus desert. It was awesome. Special shout out to the chef and your servers. The food was amazing. We will be coming back to try the Italian Sunday dinner. Can’t wait!

Amazing. My dish which was the veal stuffed with cheese and prosciutto was excellent. Scallops appetizer was great and the desserts were awesome as well. The inside is so nice too it's like a little town. Definitely recommend.

This is an authentic Italian Gem in the heart of Collingwood, NJ upbeat strip. I love exploring small business eatery. My motto if you’re going to spend at least flare up your taste bud. My wife had the roasted Salmon and I ordered roasted chicken. The meal were delicious and fried calamari was amazing. I would definitely go back for another special occasion and try the 5 course meal. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for flavorful Italian dish.

Instead of stars, Nunzios, located in Collingswood, NJ gets 5 🤌🤌🤌🤌🤌. The hand gesture perfectly describes our experience at Nunzios. Serving up delicious old world favorites, the chef cooks everything to perfection. First, the Italian wedding soup with matzah balls was exquisite. It’s a must try if you’re a fan of either. Our party then enjoyed the veal porterhouse, beef carpaccio, seafood capriccio and calamari - all delicious, savory, and cooked to perfection. I’d also be remiss if i didn’t mention the wait staff. We were out for a birthday and retirement celebration, and they were very accommodating and attentive. The chef even made some chicken parmigiana (off menu) for the special occasion. We topped off the night with coffee, gelato & sorbet and tiramisu.🍨 The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had - creamy, not bitter and just the right amount of sweetness. Compliments to the chef and the whole Nunzios crew for making our family night a special one. We will be back! 🤌

Outstanding from start to finish. Anthony, GM was very accommodating. The servers were on point. The food was over the top and scrumptious. The Fresh pasta is delicious and so creative in the many options to chose from.

Just hosted a bridal shower there this past Sunday and everything was amazing! Food was delicious, servers were very helpful and the owner Anthony was super accommodating. Everything was seamless and everyone raved about how much of a great time they had! Can’t wait to go back for dinner one night! Thanks again!

We recently enjoyed an early, weeknight meal at Nunzio as we’ve chosen the venue for an upcoming private party. The burrata and gnocchi are a MUST. Even main course pasta dishes can be enjoyed as an appetizer! BYOB, and let the staff handle everything else! On street parking isn’t always plentiful but there is a nearby lot that serves PATCO.

Used to go here as a kid years before Covid. Finally went back tonight. Let me tell you this was the best dinner I’ve had in a very long time. The atmosphere is amazing. The service phenomenal and classy. And the food itself had me smiling the entire meal, literally about to cry from happiness. Going back next Thursday. Thanks Michael

We chose Nunzio to celebrate our anniversary celebration, and it was the perfect choice! Our first time here ( new to NJ) and we will be back! Service, food ambience was top notch and live Opera to top it off, it was amazing! Thank you for the personal song!! Bravo Nunzio!!👏

The food was absolutely incredible. We went specifically for the pasta tasting menu offered on Wednesdays. We also got the calamari appetizer-the aioli type drizzle and fried olives were an excellent addition, breaded and fried perfectly (not too heavy). First course was a wedge salad-great portion & fresh. Second was a short rib & lobster pasta with lobster sauce-probably the best part of the meal was this sauce. We had to ask for more bread because it was just too delicious to waste. Third course was a French onion pasta-excellent as well & really awesome idea. Fourth course was a cheddar potato gnocchi which was a perfect balance of fluffy gnocchi & crispy potato. Finally a banana foster s'more's-incredible! This was also done table side & couldn’t taste the alcohol. It was also made with almost a French toast like bread. So so so delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try additional pieces of the menu in addition to many more pasta tasting menus. They should seriously consider making some of these options permanent additions to the menu!

We went with a huge party, and they accommodated us very well. Atmosphere was lovely, food was fantastic, and our waiter (Ramirez I believe?) was very attentive, professional, and provided timely service. Overall, a lovely evening!

My brothers rehearsal dinner was here. Anthony was amazing to work with. The food was fantastic, service was amazing, and everyone had a fabulous time. The room looked so classy and elegant when decorated and set up. Would highly recommend for any event and we cannot wait to return!

The service was great. We went for the 7 fish menu; it was a lot of food, good size portions. We took home some of each course to make sure we'd have room to try every one & ate the leftovers the next day.

Made a reservation late on Saturday and was able to get a table for 9:00. Our table was ready, when walked into a full house. As one of their last tables, the restaurant began to clear during our meal. The hostess was pleasant. Once we were seated, our server greeted us immediately. Anthony one of the owners also checked on us to make sure our meal was okay, and to send us off at the end of the night. We got the octopus and the Caesar salad to start. Octopus was phenomenal, and not rubbery at all. Cooked perfectly and thrown together in a tasty little medley. Caesar salad dressing was done correctly which is not always a given these days. I had the salmon and my date couldn't decide between the squid ink pasta or enochi so they did a half and half dish and she had both. Everything was amazing. BYOB so bring your favorite bottle of red. The decor and ambience is dim-lit, warm and inviting. Right in the middle of the restaurant district in that area, but this place takes the cake, literally, because we had no room for dessert. Trust me!! Can't go wrong here Very reasonably priced as well!!

Second time eating here for a work gathering and it was great again. Had food I normally wouldn't eat and loved it. Carpaccio was awesome. There scallops were great. The staff was amazing! Worth going to for sure.

LOVE this place. First off, you'll be dazzled by the inside of the place when you enter, as the entire restaurant is decked out like an old Tuscan villa. The walls are painted up like apartments, and there's even windows and balconies where pictures of people painted onto the walls look out, "watching" you as you eat. Quite adorable. And the ceiling is this beautiful sky blue that dims to reveal starlight twinkling ceiling lights, making it seem like you're eating outside in some Italian village. Wonderful stuff. The food itself is also outstanding, with some terrific Tuscan fare that is sure to please. I can't go without mentioning they have my favorite gnocchi in all of NJ, as well as some fantastic lobster ravioli and a wonderful antipasti. Oh, and the desserts are fabulous! Anything they have with fruit is a must-buy. Have fun!

Wonderful meal in a beautiful restaurant decorated like an outdoor Italian village. The service is top notch and the menu is excellent. Go with a group of friends so you can sample some off of their plates!

Chef Michael has owned and operated the former Nunzio's for a few years now. He has officially changed the name and the menu has evolved over that time into what it is now, which is wonderful. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Pictured, is lamb chops with a harrissa sauce. In the background, butter beans in arrabiatta and beyond that, truffle gnocchi. Michael's is fine dining without being snooty.

There’s a saying that you can always go home again, and last night I felt like I was. The food was absolutely amazing! I have known Chef Michael DeLone for 20 years and watched and experienced him grow into, in my humble opinion, a James Beard-level chef. From the nuances and taste, to the presentation of his food…it is an extraordinary gastronomic experience. Co-owner Anthony Masapollo, along with his staff are bar excellence. You read these types of gushing reviews all the time, but this one comes not only from the heart, but equally from the taste buds. This is a restaurant that you want to go more than once.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Nunzio by Chef Michael Delone. It was the perfect evening! The food was superb! Chef Michael is a culinary genius!! Perfection! Service was top-notch! The atmosphere was just amazing, and the vibe made the night even more spectacular! Anything we asked for was accomplished! Don't walk, run!! We are all going back for Mother's Day brunch!!

We had a terrific tasting menu for Christmas in July, the summer version of 7 fishes. The swordfish was absolutely delightful!

We just had their NJ local tasting menu. It was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time. Every single course was incredible. You won’t find better service from the hostess, to the knowledgeable server, and the general manager that makes sure every single table is having a perfect night. You just do not find service like this anymore. Cannot wait to go back! You will not be disappointed!

I went for Brunch to celebrate my birthday and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The new, open, Floorplan let's in so much natural light and I love it. The food was well cooked and presented well. The server was personable and provided my party members with everything we needed and more.

Had an early dinner here this evening with my family. We were a larger party and we were seated at a nice table by the front window. We had the Sunday dinner which was fabulous. We each got to pick from 4 different courses for $50! You can’t beat that price and the food is delicious. We had an attentive server who was patient (we had kids with us) and kind. Very happy we chose Nunzio’s to celebrate 2 birthdays.

MAGNIFICENT food..our part of 4 enjoyed clams and pasta, wedge salad, scallops as appetizers. Our meals ..lamb, pork chop, and filet .unique blend of flavors , perfect size portions. Our server on point

From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by warm, attentive staff who made us feel at home. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, beautifully designed with coastal Italian flair, and the remodel of the space shows a lot of thought and care. The food was the star, hands down. Everything we tried—fresh seafood, handmade pasta, and scratch‐made sauces was exceptional.

We had an enjoyable dinner on a busy Saturday evening, pleasant staff and servers. We were seated right away for our 7:30 reservation. We sat in the middle room which was nice, plenty of tables but the noise level was not to loud. A nice menu with a variety of options and several specials that change weekly. For appetizers, mixed green salad with pears which was very tasty, caesar salad which was good just a bit to much garlic and muscles in red sauce. Dinner entrees were salmon, pasta and sausage special and a mixed seafood pasta which was loaded with shrimp, crab, swordfish and muscles. The portions were generous and no extra charge when we asked for more bread which came with a seasoned dipping oil. We ended with a tiramisu to share and coffee. Its BYOB so bring your favorite wine and very nice for a date night or special occasion. It has made a nice change over with their new chef and new menu. With a lot of competition in the area with a variety of Italian restaurants we were pleased we dined and will be back.

Had reservations at 5pm on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food came out at a good pace, and our waiter was attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy vibe. The bread that come out to the table is awesome. Bread was soft and fluffy. The pesto/tomato oil tasted great. For apps we ordered the Octopus. The the app was seasoned perfectly and the octopus was so tender! Loved the garlic aioli and fried basil. The only thing was wish it came with more octopus and less potato. The potato seemed a bit out of place. Too tangy and flavor didn't blend well with the octopus itself. Think it would pair better with some greens. For one the Spaghetti Al Frutti Di Mare had a brilliant sauce that coated the homemade spaghetti so well. I really enjoyed the tomato and fennel broth. Scallop lovers will appreciate this dish as there was plenty of it. I would have wanted a bit more sword fish than scallops. Only got 2 small chunks of sword fish. Some bites were a tad gritty, perhaps from the mussels. However the overall dish was delicious and pasta cooked perfectly. I feel this dish could have added a little more noodle. If I compared the portion size to the other pasta dish we ordered, it was smaller. Another entree was the Squid Ink Malfaldine which was part of their specials for the day. Anyone with a heart condition maybe should avoid it since I found it to be quite salty. Other than the salt level, the dish has some amazing flavors. Plenty of crab scattered about. The shrimp was superb and the pasta was cooked very well. For dessert we got the vanilla gelato. It was creamy and delicious. Tastes like french vanilla with vanilla beans throughout.

Sat outside since the weather was great. Super friendly staff and service. Food was good to great, but was expecting more. The lobster ravioli in vodka sauce needed more lobster in the ravioli, couldn't really taste it. Veal parmesan was excellent. Also one of the smallest pieces of Burrata I have had for the price paid. Will try somewhere else next time as there are many options within walking distance.

W

Very good food and great service. The potatoes didn't have much flavor, but the filet mignon was cooked to perfection. I'd recommend you stop in if you're in the area.

Tamara

Food was the star by far!! Excellent apps and entrees! Our server was just ok. He was around when we needed him, but had a very plain and cold personality. Very uptight. Atmosphere has changed recently. I get it, things have to be updated, but I miss the warming feel. It was too "sterile".

S
Steve Salvitti

Michaels Coastal Italian Grille (prev Nunzios) offers a small Italian menu for an above average price. Collingswood has a ton of restaurants and if you are looking for Italian fare, there are plenty of other places within walking distance that will have bigger menus. Not even sure there was a meatball on the menu. The pasta dishes where only a few and although my daughters gnocchi was good - it was served in a large soup bowl vs plate. Food wasn’t bad and nothing returned but very limited selection so take a look at the menu before you go and you will thank me.

The reservation was made for here in celebration of my 60th birthday. I haven't been to the restaurant in quite a long time so I figured it would be a great meal, as was in the past. I was incorrect in that assumption. I do have to say that the beef carpaccio appetizer was excellent! The mushroom soup was good as well. Cracked pepper would have been a great additoinal touch, but the server, Xavier, never asked if we wanted it on either food. I had to ask for the pepper. The main meal choices were the seafood in a garlic butter sauce and the steak. The steak and side potatoes, which were creatively displayed, were both very heavily salted. So much so that it took away from the taste of the foods. It was defintely not worth the $58 price tag. The seafood was done to the liking of my friend, therefore I can't comment on that dish. The server never asked how our meals were, nor much of a follow up in simply scanning the table to check status of plates or asking if we need a container for any leftovers. He had assistance from another server and she was on her game, so kudos to her. He also never even said a thing about us being there for celebrating my birthday. It wasn't until my friend and I were leaving did the manager, or owner, not sure which, come up and said happy birthday to me and asked how our meals were. I did share that the steak dish being overly salted. Sadly, I don't think we'll be back.

We frequently had dinner at Nunzio's before the change of ownership. I'm on record then of saying "If you don't think Nunzio's is one of the two best restaurants in Collingswood then you're on crack". It was one of the best places in the area to go out for a great dinner and one of our favs. However, the change of ownership and the post-COVID era have not been kind. We've been there (three times I think) since then. The first within a month after the change in ownership I think. We weren't happy and gave it a bit of time. We tried them again but were no happier and the disappointing "new" Nunzio's was off our list for a couple of years. We started talking about trying them again just in time for my mother's birthday. She also was a Nunzio's fan pre-change of ownership. So we figured a good amount of time has passed, maybe they've gotten it together and figured it out. This may come off fragmented as I'm going to skip over a lot of the chaos of a family dinner and focus on the things that I found most impactful as it relates to having dinner at Nunzio's. Here we go. They had the regular menu, a Sunday Tasting Menu which included choices for app, entrée, and dessert, and a Wild Game Menu that was fixed 5 courses. Three went for the Sunday tasting. My mother and I went for the wild game. Here we will focus on the wild game selections as it's what I had and hence what I can provide the most insight on. First course was good with a balance of sweet salty and umami. It made me hopeful and perhaps a bit optimistic for the rest of the meal. Second course, or was it third (they flip flopped the pasta course to keep it in sync with the rest of the table which was cool, but the order, rather than building the palate, becomes irrelevant) was put in front of me and the first thing I noticed was that the sauce was broken and oily. You can easily see this in the pics. Boar ragu cavatelli is easily remembered because it tasted like beef, and the cavatelli had a weird overly firm consistency, almost as if it were not cooked but even firm for that still. If I blind tasted it I would have said it was some sort of beef. Main course Venison stew: the venison was dry and chalky. I guess venison is just too lean for the long cooking time of a stew. I don't know what I can say here except to ask: "Does the restaurant not sample this stuff before they put it on the menu, or do they actually think it's appropriate for a nice restaurant to serve this mediocrity?" About here for the main course came the wife's chicken Milanese. I don't know what she got, it wasn't bad, but It wasn't the Milanese we expected. That may be due to what is normally seen as Milanese, or it may be liberties as "Milanese" is rather broadly defined. The game menu stuck me as someone who tries to get away with putting small portions into a decent plating, try to be a bit fancy and hoping for the "check this out it must be good". Well, it was mediocre at best. Service was really good and deserves commendation for dealing with my family. We've been there three times since new ownership. It's not going to be four.

Unfortunately probably won't be back. Visited Nunzios last year and it was phenomenal..so we decided to try the new rebranded name. Where do I begin ..seemed like confusion who was going to wait on us to start...I think it took 20 mins to get water...3 attempts to get a glass of ice. I ordered the special summer tasting menu..food took crazy amount of time to get to table. Second course they ran out of deviled eggs so it was replaced with the shrimp cocktail ...1 shrimp was given jeez thanks for accommodating us. Her calamari comes out next...no cherry peppers ..which clearly are supposed to be there. They bring out a whole new dish...tasted decent. Food was pretty good for rest of courses..her gnocchi was a bit underwhelming in my opinion. Not sure what was going on here tonight but I felt like I was on an episode of Impractical Jokers with the wait times and missing items etc. Waiter was nice and who I think was manager was very nice. Other tables I noticed were looking around as well like wth is going on here. Coffee was good that was a plus btw. Overall for $150 and 2.5 hours plus was disappointing 😥. Was hoping to repeat last year's visit but a big swing and miss here. Also found it odd every other table seemed to get limoncello brought to table at end of meal. I guess they missed our table with that.

V
Vanessa Fiore

Absolutely sucked. This used to be a hot spot. We were there last night for a friend's birthday party. We were a table of 8. The waitress and (I'm assuming) the manager/owner kept giving us nasty looks because we were doing a wine tasting before ordering dinner. Normally, I would understand them wabting to flip the table. However, on a Saturday night, it was Absolutely dead. They should have been grateful that had a big party who ordered appetizers and entrees. The food was terrible and my husband's fluke entree wasn't edible. I'd never go back and don't expect them to stick around too long. Save your money and your time. Go to Sapori instead
