Excellent food; service, prices, and quality are all in line with the quality. Relaxing music allows for conversation. We tried the Galician-style octopus and it's highly recommended!
I went to the El Nora bar-restaurant in Colloto and it left a very good impression. The place has that authentic, charming cider house feel that's so appreciated: a spacious terrace, a comfortable dining room, and an outdoor area to enjoy a drink in the sun or simply relax. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it's a place with a long history, where they take care with both the food and the service. The food is truly excellent. I ordered a fried starter and then a meat main course, all well-served, generous portions, and with a homemade flavor without unnecessary frills. The cider is poured slowly but surely, which adds to the ambiance. It's the kind of place you go knowing you're going to eat well and without any unpleasant surprises. The service seemed to me to be one of its strongest points. The staff was attentive, friendly, unhurried but not inattentive, making sure we were comfortable. That feeling of being welcomed without formality makes a big difference. Furthermore, the setting is comfortable: spacious, without feeling cramped, which means you can go with friends or family and enjoy yourself without stress. If I had to point out something that could be improved, I'd say that when the place gets really busy, the atmosphere becomes quite lively and can lose that relaxed feel you might be looking for if you're just going to unwind. Also, for some dishes, the prices might seem a bit high for a neighborhood cider house, although I understand that the quality more than justifies it. And finally, while the terrace is a great feature, finding a spot at peak times can be a bit tricky, so making a reservation or arriving early is a good idea. In short: El Nora is an option I would recommend without hesitation. An authentic place, with good food, perfectly poured cider, friendly service, and an inviting atmosphere. Perfect for a leisurely meal but also for a weekend outing with friends. I'll be back to try some other dishes I saw being served that looked delicious.
Everything is delicious. It's a 10/10 restaurant in every way. The waiter served us tripe, scrambled eggs with minced meat, Cabrales cheese, turbot, and grilled meat. The tripe was spectacular, and for dessert, the nougat cake was the best we've ever had. David's service was unbeatable. If we return to Asturias, we will. Thanks for everything!
We're an Asturian couple living abroad, and every time we go, it's a must. We've been going for many years, and it's nice to see they continue their good work. The staff is charming and attentive. We were served by Miguel, who was very friendly, and by a guy whose name I can't remember... but he was wearing earrings and is blond, a real sweetheart too (sorry I can't remember his name). Thank you. We'll always come back.
We ate there by reservation, but in our case we ate inside because we were very short on time. The food was spectacular. We ordered fabada (bean stew), octopus, cachopos (cachopos), and rice pudding. Excellent service. Very competitive prices. It was definitely a shame for us to have discovered it on the last day of our stay, because we would have gone back more often. Thank you for everything.
We went to El Nora restaurant with a group of friends and several children, and the experience couldn't have been better. It's an ideal picnic spot for this type of event: informal, comfortable, and in a fantastic location. The terrace is undoubtedly one of its strong points, located on the banks of the Nora River, with shade and spacious tables that allow for easy dining, even for a large group. The children had a great time because there was room for them to play freely, safely, and without disturbing other tables. The service was very attentive and prompt, even when the terrace was full. We opted for the set menu, which was very well priced. The fabada (bean stew) was delicious, with just the right amount of flavor and depth, just as it should be. The cachopo (fried cachopo), as promised on the menu, was a classic: generous, well-breaded, and with a tasty filling. The portions are generous, so it's easy to share among several if you don't have a big appetite. Another important detail is that parking was super easy; there's plenty of space near the restaurant, which is a real plus if you're traveling with children or in a group. In short, a highly recommended place for casual meals with friends and family. We'll definitely be back.
Fantastic spot by the Nora River! They have a spectacular terrace, huge and with different areas; it was so comfortable eating there. The food is traditional Asturian, and it never disappoints. Everything we ordered was really good and very reasonably priced. The service was amazing, super fast and attentive! We'll definitely be back!
We went for lunch as a couple, and they immediately made room for us on the terrace. It's incredibly spacious, all the waiters were super friendly, and the food was top-notch. We ordered carne a la piedra and a pan of squid, which were to die for. What can I say about the dessert? Both the cheesecake and the nougat ice cream were delicious, and the portions were huge. We'll definitely be back.
Honestly, whether you order from the set menu or à la carte, you can't go wrong. The food is good and the price isn't too high, the staff is incredibly attentive and always recommends the best option. As for the food, the quality is just right for the price, and you can enjoy more elaborate dishes or an extensive tapas menu at affordable prices. There's also the set menu option, which is a safe bet. Definitely a highly recommended spot in Colloto.
A very good restaurant that also provides rooms to stay in

The place is nice, even for children. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were two couples and ordered: Potatoes with two sauces and a quite delicious Cabrales cheese sauce. The cachopo was also good, although not very large. Fried squid was tasty. The sliced meat was juicy but not too large. As you can see in the photos, everything came with potatoes, something the waiter should have warned us about, so we wouldn't have ordered potatoes with two sauces, but oh well... For dessert, we had chocolate cake (a nice piece), cheesecake, and almond cake. All homemade.
Local place with nice staff. but one problem for me that I ordered seemingly meet dish and only meet in it was a few slices of Jamon.. It was the cachopo with mushrooms, but instead of beef with mushrooms inside or on the side it was mushroom mostly. So I wasn’t full at all after the meal. But the taste was okay
We were there today, October 12th, we sat at a table on the terrace, we ordered a croquette (there were a dozen and they charged us €14.70), an outrage, and a cider, when the waitress brought us the croquettes we asked if she could please clean the table and she replied that why we hadn't sat at another one, pointing to one that was in the sun, come on... now we have to sit where the waiters tell us so they don't have to clean the dirty tables, in the end very politely we went to the table she indicated to us, which was fully exposed to the sun, the waitress told us that it was no problem that she would put an umbrella for us, in the end she had to ask for help to put up two umbrellas for us which in the end were of no use and we were in the sun the whole time, all this for not cleaning the table where we had previously sat, come on, terrible service and abusive prices, it wasn't the first time we stopped, but it will be the last
