It’s the little things! lobster tail cooked two perfection got the opportunity to try a variety of the different meats and that was a delight. Very nice atmosphere. My wife and I finally got some downtime to go on a nice double date and we’ve been wanting to try Fogo de Chao ever since it opened on Polaris Parkway… Wow, what an amazing experience of the Brazilian cuisine! The elegantly designed restaurant had an ambiance that was classy and very enjoyable. The food and drinks were exquisitely presented and plentiful. The deserts were like art masterpieces. Our server Carol provided top-notch service and her recommendations were spot on from the meal and drinks to the dessert. We look forward to going back soon and will ask for Carol again.
10/10 all around. I went on a Tuesday @ 6:30 and had a reservation so there was no wait at all but the place still had a decent amount of people for a weekday! Food was phenomenal with a wonderful vibe and great service. Our waitress was fantastic and checked on us constantly, but not in an annoying way! They even comped my boyfriend’s desert because it was his birthday even though we ordered the packed that already came with desert- so they let us take it to go! We will be back, special occasion or not! Would definitely recommended.
Exceptional dining experience. We took our team here for our holiday gathering. Everyone enjoyed the food. The service was exceptional. Special thanks to Tiara and Alondra for taking care of us. They did an exceptional job. We went for lunch. I wasn't sure if the quality would be as good at lunch time, but it definitely was. My team commented on the deliciousness of the lobster tails. They loved all the sides and of course all the meats. It was well worth saving room for dessert.
Absolutely phenomenal! The food was fantastic, my drink always stayed full, the waitress Alondra and Tiara was super nice knowledgeable and overall had fantastic personality! Definitely will come back!
We had a wonderful experience here. Darryl going around serving the meats is AMAZING...Also the waitress Alondra was awesome to! Definitely left full. We got the enhancement & got the lobster tail add on it was great. All the meat we got was delicious and definitely recommend the chocolate molten cake! Everything was wonderful
Tiara was so personable and helpful. Everyone working was kind and patient while we figured out the menu. We were the only diners in for my nephew’s birthday and we got soooo much attention and were greeted by everyone that passed our table. I will be back and will recommend this location to everyone I know. Thanks for making it a very special experience, today❤️🩷
We came out for a birthday dinner and im so glad we did. Our server Christian was absolutely amazing. Wonderful service and great food. This was my first experience with a brazilian inspired menu and it didnt dissapoint. We will be back!
We brought our son here after his University graduation last year and came back a second time to celebrate him before heading out to basic boot camp. We loved the atmosphere of this place and the food is so delicious. Extra thanks to Tiara (for his chocolate cake decoration) and our sever Willie ! They made us feel so special!
Service was great.Anna was very informative about how they got started and we were celebrating 2 Anniversary and a birthday. I was in the Vegas one in May and the rest of the group had never been to one. They all enjoyed the buffet and all you can eat meat. Anna Vazquez made us a dessert tray for our celebrations 🍾. That was special. They have been open just 7 months. We all will be back!! Great Anniversary!
Great atmosphere, our server Stephanie was phenomenal!! She explained how everything worked perfectly and made sure to check in with us throughout our time. 10/10 we will be back.
We came here for our company holiday lunch and it did not disappoint! Andrew was so friendly and fun and continuously came to the table to see what we needed to make the experience better. Then the manager himself came out sharing what we may have missed and seeing we wanted to try it. Porkbelly with honey and lime, filet, and creme brûlée was INCREDIBLE!

Busy Valentines weekend, but the servers and the meat boys were friendly and chill. Market table had complimentary pork belly and we really enjoyed the cocktails. This is a great place that will come back to several times a year.
The atmosphere is very comfortable and elegant, service was great from our server. The food was great especially the baked chicken. Fogo is the happy medium mix between Rodizio and Texas de Brazil offering their own unique meat and salad bar options. I highly recommend checking them out. Our dining experience at Fogo de Chão was nothing short of exceptional. The quality of the cuisine was remarkable—the meats were exquisitely tender, juicy, and full of flavor, each cut prepared and served to perfection. Equally impressive was the level of service. The staff were attentive, professional, and unfailingly polite, which made the entire evening feel seamless and refined. I would like to extend special recognition to Carol, whose warmth and graciousness enhanced our experience, and to Mark, who proved to be an extraordinary host. His attentiveness and professionalism truly elevated the evening, ensuring that every detail was cared for with the utmost consideration. Tried out the happy hour at Fogo De Chao for the first time. Met Ricardo who is the front of house manager. Alexis was our bartender/waiter. Food was excellent and service was even better. Alexis brought us two extra apps that we didn’t order. Our check was was under $100. We will be back. Already decided to celebrate our son’s birthday here next month.
Jeremy, my server, made the entire experience feel intentional. He was sharp, calm, and genuinely attentive in a way that elevated the night. The rest of the staff carried the same energy, but Jeremy stood out with how naturally he anticipated what I needed without hovering. One of the first things I noticed was the weighted silverware. I’m big on tactile feedback, and that detail pulled me deeper into the whole experience. I stuck mostly to rare and medium-rare cuts, and everything that hit the table was juicy and on point. The truffle butter was ridiculous in the best way and paired well with basically everything. The mocktails were great, and the brûlée cheesecake at the end was honestly the perfect finish. Smooth, subtle sweetness, great texture, and plated beautifully. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and Jeremy made it even better. I’d come back just off the strength of his service alone.
A friend recommended I stop in and I was very pleased with my visit. I was surprised that they had a bar-like menu for quick eats. The bartender Alexis was very nice, welcoming and witty and recommended a very delicious pineapple lemonade. Looking forward to going back!
Such an unforgettable and phenomenal experience at this specific Fogo de Chao location. I’ve been to a few locations across the country and this is my favorite. It was absolutely remarkable. My very first visit to this branch is to celebrate my birthday since I moved to Cincy. Despite the minor inconvenience with the grill, that didn’t matter at all. The atmosphere, food, and most especially the CREW are beyond amazing! They made sure everything was not only okay but exceeded our expectations which they absolutely delivered. Grateful and without a doubt the best decision I made on celebrating my special day with my special person at Fogo de Chao - Columbus. The overall experience was 100/10. We will definitely come back to enjoy more experiences like this. Kudos to the whole crew especially to Carol and Keysha who took care of us and Anna for constantly checking on us. 💜💜💜

We had a lunch office party for 24 recently in their private space and everyone really loved it. The space is beautiful, the salad bar is amazing, everyone loved getting to try so many different meats and they were all of very good quality for the price, and dessert was amazing! The service was prompt and friendly. I would highly recommend Fogo de Chao for a nice private party!

This was my husband’s and my first time dining at Fogo de Chão, and it was nothing short of amazing. We chose to celebrate our 14th anniversary here, and it was truly the perfect decision! From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the exceptional food and outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations. The salad bar was incredibly fresh, offering a great variety of options, and the prime select cuts of meat that came around were even better—tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What really made the night special was the staff. They were so attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a wonderful dining experience. Their hospitality made our anniversary dinner unforgettable. We definitely give Fogo de Chão a 10 out of 10, and we will absolutely be back soon!

Had a great meal at Fogo. Some of my group has had the Brazilian steakhouse experience before, but it was my first time and it was fantastic. We had prompt and attentive service, a fantastic spread of AYCE options at the counter, and great meat options. The rounds with the different meat offerings were QUICK, and did not leave us sitting there waiting for the next serving. Plenty of beef, chicken, lamb, and pork options. I was able to try several fantastic cuts with generous portions, including my first beef rib which was great! I forget our server’s name, but we had several fantastic and attentive servers assist us.
It was pretty quiet, and the staff was friendly. Food was good, and the wait wasn't long. The entry was festive. Tips: if you know you are looking for a specific meat option, respectfully share that with the staff. Meat is ready at different times, but they are usually incredible about the meat you're looking for coming around once it's ready

Had a wonderful date night with my husband tonight! We were sat in a corner which I didn’t love BUT the service was 10/10. I never saw the bottom of my glass before I already had a fresh pop on the table. Shoutout to Alondra, Egli, Marvin and Adriano for making our first child free date night in a LONG time a great one!!

This was an absolutely amazing 1st time experience. The food was fresh and flavorful. Our server was Kasey, she checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable. She asked if we wanted any specific meats which I truly appreciated. Kristian also checked in on us periodically making sure we had what we needed and helped clear some items out our way. He also offered to get a box for our dessert. Anna made sure to ask about our experience and let us know about our $25 credit on our next visit. She didn’t make us feel rushed which is a trait other Brazilian steakhouses gave us. Thank you!!!!
Fiance brought me here for our 1-year anniversary / Valentine's Day dinner. This was my first time coming and I am more than pleased. Kayla was our server and she was amazing!;very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. She gave excellent recommendations and I chose the South American Chardonnay, which happens to be on the all day happy hour menu. Will definitely be returning really soon. Thank you so much Kayla!
Fogo de Chao has been one of our favorite restaurants ever since we discovered it- and the Columbus location is fantastic! Service was quick, and our server Stefanie was wonderful and recommended a fantastic drink. She communicated to the other servers what meats we preferred, and made sure we were taken care of. Anna was very friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to make celebrating our anniversary special! She was attentive, and made the visit fantastic. We will return and would recommend this location to anyone!
This place never disappoints. It’s our third time here in Columbus and each time the level of service is better and better. It’s a Monday night , super quiet and the serving staff went above and beyond making sure we got the most of our meal. Zyan , Isa & Anna were excellent. The tres leches is out of this world.
Food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Servers were all kind and professional. Darryl in particular stopped in at our table to make sure we were take care of. This was impressive, as it was the day before Valentine's, and the restaurant was definitely busy. We will definitely be back.

I spent Monday night at this restaurant, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, a really nice place overall. The waitstaff were friendly and welcoming. I was served by Israel and Ciara, who were both wonderful and made my experience enjoyable. The meat was okay; I’ve been to similar places before and tried all the options here, but I wasn’t particularly impressed with the meat or the limited selection of hot dishes. The old fashioned was amazing and the desert as well
Disappointing experience. First time trying it out because i’ve heard it was good. I brought my boyfriend for his birthday. We both thought it was meh. Our waiter was nice. The service was slow, had to wait around. By the time we were full, the better cuts came out. I liked the mini cheese bread. It wasn’t worth the price.
High expectations, very bad delivery. Came in on a Saturday night WITH RESERVATION to try their churrasco experience which is the typical and what a Brazilian steakhouses are renown for. We were greeted by a server who could hardly answer any of my questions about wine and took 15 minutes to acknowledge us. I ended up blind selecting the seltan “Intenso” cabernet Sauvignon bottle to pair with the selections of meats that were to come. The first skewer arrived at the table after we were sat for 20 minutes. (VERY SLOW) Our server disappeared for the rest of the night So much so that when i asked one of the managers at the end of the night who was our server? , she was puzzled and said “everyone”LOL Great save! I’m not sure if the place is understaffed, amateur, or both but service was painfully slow. There was lapses of 15 minutes in which no skewer of meat came to the table. The place looks bigger on pictures although the aesthetic and elaborate vibe is consistent with what is expected from the photos. They have an extensive salad bar and an underwhelming soup station which was disappointing but not a deal breaker because i was there specifically for the meat. Unfortunately their meat selection and cuts is exactly why they got a low rating. All the meats specially the lamb was so salty! Other selections like the chicken legs were overly cooked to the point where i had to spit out my food into a separate bowl. If the meat was not salty or burnt, it had excessive fat! It was just miss after miss on quality of meat! Only three items out of the whole rooster redeemed the experience which were the bottom sirloin, the caprihna (which only came around once), and the cheese with honey ( my favorite)! The cheese with honey should be an appetizer that is offered with the bread in my opinion. Andrew, the manager, was another great reason that our awful experience was saved. He took care of us, accommodated us when our server left without saying anything, and he was the one that took great care of us. He also got us a complimentary dessert for the awful experience without us asking. Andrew is the reason this rating is not a 1 star. Regardless of the food, i left the restaurant with an uncomfortably full stomach because for that price, it is something i wanted to get full worth of my money. Needless to say, i had to hunt down a manager to pay my bill cause were left to fend for ourselves at the end of our dinner. It took us 20 minutes just for us to pay. We left tired and irritated of the whole ordeal. All in all, it left a-lot of expectations unfulfilled and compared to other Brazilian steakhouses i have been to like texas de brazil, this one definitely lacked in service and meat selection. Will try another location ( maybe?) but will not come back to this one. 2/5 ⭐️
This was my second time trying a Brazilian Steakhouse and my last. The service was absolutely horrible, I felt like I was discriminated against on arrival waiting to be called for my reservation. I watched a waitress politely come and get a couple in the waiting area to be guided to their dining table; to my name being shouted. I got to the table and because I wanted to try other menu items besides the carved meat, it was like my waitress (Whom I will refrain from naming) just disregarded us at the point we wanted to dine on other items (Not the salad bar). On top of that she did not come back frequently to serve us, and we had multiple other servers come to wait on us in her neglect. Our table was not set completely; I had to get up and attempt to get a fork for my meal until she finally returned. When we finally got our meal, it felt like we were rushed to enjoy our date, multiple waiters and waitress came in an attempt to get us to checkout, when I had planned to order more food & dessert. Mind you I had already asked the original Waitress for a 2nd cocktail and she forgot my cocktail 15 - 20 mins, returned with my check and would not address me but addressed my spouse (Classism I presume); upon me reminding her that I had ordered a drink she acted astonished and immediately attempted to recover. I have gone to 2 Brazilian Steakhouse and I have not been impressed, the food is not worth the cost, the sale pitch seems to be the ambiance which is more or less the lighting than anything else, and the feeling of being upper class by the cost of a meal and not the quality of the food. The establishment is not all that clean, and I believe that is hidden under this "ambiance" of a hustle. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with any self-dignity who wants to walk away feeling like they had a experience worth their time, and money. Of course, as Americans we think we can simulate every experience, but this place is a money-grab. I expected to have a quality experience and came to enjoy the food not to leave feeling taken advantage of; some of us want quality food, over being in an environment that is supposed to make us feel important. I certainly came for your food and not for my class to feel questioned.
My husband & I had our first date night in 4mos, so we were excited to try something new. The restaurant atmosphere upon walking in the door was very nice with dimmed lights & nice decor. We were seated fairly quickly with two different waitresses that both had great personalities & explained everything on the menu, as well as the buffet style food bar. The food from the buffet was all amazing; the food runners were constantly switching bowls & everything was fresh with no complaints. It took a while to wave down any of the guys with meat, unfortunately we ended up with bottom sirloin as our first option, it was practically rare & horribly chewy, I couldn’t take more than one bite. My husband finally was offered steak with bacon & even though the outside of the meat was practically charred in black crust, the bacon unraveled & was full of fat, hardly cooked & the steak was also far too rare. My husband typically orders medium, we weren’t told until the end of our meal that we could’ve asked a runner to cook it longer, that would’ve been nice to know up front. Additionally, we had to ask 3 different waitresses/waiter if there was an option for chicken, we didn’t have someone come over with chicken for over 20mins & by the time we received the last of what was on the skewer, it was so dry & overcooked that I felt like I was eating the turkey from Christmas Vacation, I had to take a huge drink of water just to just swallow this giant, dry chunk. My husband & I both contemplate whether we wanted dessert because of the quality of the main course but I ended up ordering the chocolate molten cake & my husband ordered the cheesecake brûlée, both ended up going back & were deducted from our bill. The cheesecake had been charred from the flame torch, which should’ve been a light & delicately caramelized layer, my husband tried one bite & I could hear the crunching trying to chew it. There should never be so much of a caramelized, or in this case, burnt layer, that you can’t taste the actual dessert underneath. While my molten lava cake had a nice flavor initially, half way through the bottom ring of the cake, I couldn’t even get my spoon through because it was completely burnt, we stopped a waitress to show her how the spoon wouldn’t even slide through the cake, she apologized & asked if I wanted something else but at that point, it was such a bad experience for us & we were ready to leave. As excited as we were to try a new place for our very raw date nights, it was extremely disappointing.
Fogo de Chao has been our go-to AYCE steakhouse for the past 10 years. However, after this disappointing ~$300 experience, this was the first time we considered going to a different steakhouse for future occasions. We were visiting from out of town for the holidays and found out there was one in Columbus. Came here with a party of 4 for a special celebration. All of us got the churrasco for $49 per person. The staff seemed moody and the tableside service was slow. The first red flag was when we initially sat down and received the cheese bread and none of the other sides. We were confused and wondered if Fogo had stopped offering the plantains, yuca fries and mashed potatoes. After waiting a long time for our server to come back, we ended up asking one of the gauchos who was passing by our table if they still served them. He was surprised we didnt get them yet so he flagged the server to finally bring us the sides. All 4 of us had our green marker on the entire time and it was atleast 10 minutes in between when the first and second gauchos came by with meat. We were all waiting what felt like forever in between all the meats. We mostly ended up filling up on the salad bar and sides 30 minutes into the meal. Even though the restaurant was about 40% occupied, there were only 2 gauchos going around with tableside service. There was a 15-20 minute period that we noticed no meat on the floor at all. How can you not have any meat available for that long as an AYCE steakhouse with that many customers? It just seemed like they were either understaffed or being cheap and skimping on meats intentionally (maybe both?). We had to request a specific meat cut twice before someone finally brought it to our table, and this was already 30 mins after we asked the first time. On another note, this is the first Fogo we have been to where the servers didnt ask us about steak doneness levels. One gaucho came by with ribeye and it was EXTREMELY well done (tough and inedible). Seemed like they overcooked it and were trying to get rid of it by offering it up to unlucky customers. And to top all this off, our server wasn't attentive or friendly. We were never offered any refills on our drinks or sides so we had to ask her for those as well. At this point, we just accepted that all the employees were just doing the absolute bare minimum for service. Overall, this was the worst experience we've ever had at Fogo. The lousy service ruined the mood since this was supposed to be a happy celebratory lunch. Would not visit again. This is just one of those places you regret tipping at.
