It’s a truckers stop so be prepared for not everyone to appreciate showers k. Food delivered to your table very fast, and they were busy. Everything was delicious and piping hot. It’s a great place, just get past the homeless & all the traffic driving by & you’ll be a happy duck.

Ozzie's is an absolute gem! They offer a fantastic blend of American and Mexican cuisine served with impeccable service. Our family has been regulars for years, and they've always treated us like gold. One waitress, in particular, has captured my son's heart, but more importantly, they've made my father feel like family. Though he can no longer visit, Ozzie's remains a cherished home away from home for him. We're forever grateful for the warm hospitality and delicious meals. Highly recommended

My wife and I have just started going, we've past it many times while traveling past. It's a wonderful 50s diner. Everyone is very warm and nice. The food is very well made and the coffee is great. I usually don't mention the coffee in other posts but theirs is "Great".

Asome place to eat!!! We went for the first time this place was very busy . The staff were very nice and attentive over all . The COFFEE is great I had 5 cups of it. The Menudo was outstanding I couldn't believe this spot had great menudo. Also my family enjoyed other great dishes that here. also the prices were fair !

Great tasting food and plenty of it. We had chicken fried steaks & eggs, steak and eggs, menudo, menudo with pata. ( The best part is the pata is placed next to your menudo, so you get a full plate of menudo and your pata!) Zucchini fries (super good) and Ozzie special. Staff was very nice, friendly and attentive.

The food was really good. The menudo had nice flavor and I would get it again. Biscuits and gravy was a nice side with the pork chops and eggs. The Ozzie potatoes had a lot of flavor and I do recommend to get them when you can.

The food was fantastic! Traditional breakfast foods with Mexican options as well. We tried a little of both and everything was delicious. Service was friendly and fast, atmosphere was very home like. The outside might seem a little rough, but once you step inside everything is wonderful.

Friendly, mom and pop restaurant. Gives you a 50's diner vibe with amazing service and great food. We loved the menudo, nachos, wings, and chile verde omelette. The coffee and cappuccino was great! Accommodating, sweet, and always smiling servers. Gina was our server and she was fantastic.

AMAZING food and service. This place has been in business for 60 years. We drove by and thought it looked really neat, as it has 50's and 60's diner decor. We were so glad we stopped. We are from Canada and will definitely make a point to stop here when we are back in California.

I've been here twice so far. Breakfast and dinner. Met the owner already. Very sweet man. The breakfast was actually quite good. The eggs were properly cooked, the waffle was above average but not mind blowing and the sausage was delicious. The dinner was enjoyed with brewed raspberry sweet tea, a house salad accompanied by a burger. The bread on the burger was ok but everything else was great. Salad fresh, crisp and cool to the touch. It's clear as to why this place has been around for so long. If you're in the area I highly recommend giving this place a shot. TRUCK PARKING HERE just a heads up for you truckers out there.

Fantastic food! Great service with a smile, too... And the prices are very fair, especially considering quantity that is plated. My second time here I'm having the California omelette (with bacon, avocado and tomato) and a bowl of green chile with pork, on the side (extra). The homemade green chile is delicious, with BIG chunks of tender pork! The omelette is big and fluffy, and the potatoes are done just right. I'll come by here every time I'm in the area!

The food here is like your typical Diner but what gives it the five-star is that their Coca-Cola is made with actual Cherry syrup also their burgers are absolutely delicious. I also highly recommend to come during the day to the diner to see an absolutely gorgeous waitress

Yesterday afternoon my husband and my daughter and I came in here to have lunch for the very first time my daughter wanted to do some shopping in the area I had the grilled chicken Greek salad and my daughter and my husband had the chili enchiladas everything was delicious we enjoyed everything thank you so very much

Delicious food great selections within the menu plenty of parking excellent service with a smile old fashioned countertop if you're dining solo it's very nice Window Seat every seat! My only suggestion is if you order iced tea or couple glasses of water they should bring a carafe and just leave it on the table, no one hates to run out of drink while you're eating and then have to wait for the waitress to walk all the way around the counter back to get a refill.....

I ordered the regular hamburger, the ’58 Corvette Combo, which comes with a classic-sized burger topped with bacon and avocado. The flavor was excellent—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The fries were just as good: fresh, crispy, and the perfect complement to the burger. I also had a michelada, and it did not disappoint at all. It was well-balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor—easily one of the better ones I’ve had. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I’m genuinely looking forward to coming back to try other items on the menu and to check out the bar. It also seems like a great spot to watch sports while enjoying good food, great drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Never heard of this spot before, but you must appreciate a true retro style diner. This has got to be my favorite of all time. Service is kind and they flip tables quick without rushing. The food is absolutely delicious especially as a breakfast option. If you are looking for a nice breakfast spot while in the area, this spot will not disappoint. From breakfast bar, to tables, to their cool bar off the right when you enter, 5 stars all around!

Stopped in for my first time this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised. I am working down a list of all diners in LA and this being a well-known one on the list. Located in Commerce it’s not my favorite area of town, but the food quality is worth the visit. They have a large parking lot with free parking and all of the staff that we encountered were very polite and prompt. Inside is quite large and half of it is a sports bar with big screen TVs and a full service bar. They did a good job on the design inside and would definitely be somewhere I’d want to check out in a future visit. They don’t have outdoor seating but plenty of indoor options. They have a huge menu filled with all sorts of classics and they really market their steaks and meat, especially. For my breakfast, I chose the Hamburger Steak & Eggs and thought it was all around great. The patty was extra flavorful and I opted for a side biscuit with gravy, which was a great choice because it was very fluffy and very good. Pricing is extremely fair and the portion sizes are large. I would definitely recommend to any fan of diners and especially anyone in or visiting this part of LA.

Ozzie's Diner is a real 1950's diner. It is not a newer nicer dressed up to be a 50's diner. It is the real thing. It is family owned. They serve wonderful comfort food, just like you would get in any great diner. They also have a full bar. The place is so cute and comfortable. There is a counter and great booths. It is spotless inside and out. There is not a bad meal to be had there. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their breakfast fare is great. Their pancakes are fluffy and wonderful. Their hash browns are divine. You have to try their biscuits and gravy. Their waffles are super tasty. We especially love their burgers. They are cooked to order just the way you might want them. Their fries are great and they have a chili that is wonderful. The mac and cheese is so very good. They can make a great salad. You will love their beefeater sandwich. They have a menudo soup that is just the best. Parking is easy and free. The service is fast and very friendly. All of the staff is great. You will love this place.

The prices are much higher than you’ll see in the photos on this app, but the food was tasty and the portion size reasonable. The staff was fun to talk to too. I’d stop in again if I’m ever in the area.

Had Hawaiian cheeseburger. It was juicy good & a bit saucy with raspberry ice tea..it wasn't sweet enough to my taste. Atmosphere & service was great. Only big complaints was parking for big rig were few & get out be careful since this place is on corner of Slauson & Telegraph Rd in Commerce CA. Great menu with a variety of options. With a killer menudo! Chips and tortillas were not the best to accompany the delicious Menudo though. Service was ok, but there is definitely room for improvement. Convenient place if your staying at the Ramada Hotel because they give you %15 off.

Quaint little retro diner. Friendly service, decent food. Has breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Plenty of options to choose from American, Greek, Mexican food. Limited Semi truck parking and truck driver menu items. Provides overnight parking for semi's with a purchase of a parking permit. No parking charges for eating at the restaurant. I will return.

The Liver & Onions ( not worth the price ) small serving.. the Soup was Amazing.. Now let’s Talk Breakfast ( should have had that for my dinner instead of the L & O above) That Belgian waffle meal was delicious and plentiful ( had more the enough for lunch ( worth every dollar lol it was cheaper then the L&O ).. I had the same server every time I came in to eat or just enjoy a drink ( They Do Have A BAR ) in back I was Happy to Tip her Good ..

The food was amazing I had the waffle combo with eggs and bacon 🥓 very tasty highly recommended. And our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The only complaint I have is that they seated 5 of us plus a baby in a high chair in a tiny table and our plates didn't fit and when a family left we asked the owner or manager if we can be seated in a bigger table area and he said no that we were already seated and eating. That was pretty rude to me because he saw we barely had space to eat and didn't not care to accommodate us. Good food and service but not accommodating.

This used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast. I didn't have the same experience I was used to the last couple of times I picked up from here. The service has gone down. It took almost 10 min for the hostess to speak to me. Then another 5 min for me to get my take out, which was sitting on the counter the whole time. I asked for medium rare steak and I got medium well. The steak was dry and of course they didn't give any steak sauce. The prices have gone up, but the service has gone down. I probably won't be returning.

Great food and service. Try the carrot cake, it was a real hit! We had 5 different sandwiches and fish & chips. All were great! There was plenty of parking, even though we had 2 vehicles with trailers. So why only 3 stars? 1. They added a "gratuity" with no warning. I would have tipped more than that, but... 2. Again without warning they add a charge for using a credit card.

It is, what it is. It's a roadside diner. The food isn't special. When I got there they were busy so I figure it must be good but the food was average. It wasn't bad but it's just your typical diner experience. The workers were hustling, the service was good. They attended us and kept checking on us. My only complain is that the pancakes seemed small, the food seemed a little greasy, and the coffee tasted old and watered down.

Really good service and food was not bad. Toast could of been a little toastier and could have served a little more hashbrowns. But overall it's an okay spot for breakfast. Orange juice was top notch.

It was okay. I guess for the area it might be nice but being a visitor it was okay and expensive. I had just frebch alone which is just bread soaked in egg and that was 12.95. Consumers beware! They charge 3.99% processing fee which is against regulation in the state of California max is 3% and it is not disclosed anywhere except when you get your check. Bring CASH. First time trying this place. I went with my husband, walked in sat down and had to flag someone to bring us menus. There are some items with reasonable prices but there are a lot of items that are super overpriced for a dinner. Our server was not experienced served my coffe refill touching the rim with her hand. I asked for another cup. She had chipped nail polish which is against health department regulations. As a server you must have clean short nails no fake or nail polish is permitted. Nail polish can fall on the plate. Food was good just small portions. I will give them another try in the future.

Food was not too savory. Fries, burger, hash brown, and bacon tasted like old reused oil. We left most of our food due to the taste. Was expecting better quality. Also, there’s a funky smell that welcomes you as you walk in to the diner that made me second guess our visit.

We went in for lunch and immediately felt a different vibe. It was not like it used to be months ago. Not the same. I noticed that a waitress, picks and chooses which clients and table she will take care of, and doesn't seem fair to the other employees. Where are the owners? Someone needs to check their business and employees. I can see it is not managed properly. Food is still good. But Customer Service and staff needs a lot of attention. I don't think I'll be going there again. Very sad.

My boyfriend and went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast, it was such a bad experience. Everything we chose to order they were out of. It took so long to even get anyone to take our order. We ended up just leaving hungry. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

We stopped by to try out the restaurant, and it turned out to be the worst idea. It started with the nachos. The cheese tasted like water. We ordered a steak, and it was not cooked correctly. Some parts of the steak were raw and cold while others were burnt and cold. It was very rubbery when chewing. My daughter's pancakes tasted like paper. The guacamole was black, and the enchiladas tasted like a rotten sour taste. The chicken tenders were cold and plastic flavor. Never again we will visit here, we all got very nauseous and my daughter threw up after consuming the food.

Visitited this location for the first time... and last! The wait for just the menu was over 45 minutes. We didn’t have a server. Our order was taken by a “manager” after the server next to us took 3 orders. Our drinks where served with ice scooped by the glass which is against health regulations. The food was tasteless. Do not waste your money here.

I don’t ever do this, but unfortunately, I have to leave a very negative review. My pregnant girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch before her physical therapy appointment. We were seated and ordered an appetizer while we looked for what we were going to have for our entrées when it came time to order the waitress, let me know that they didn’t have the ingredients to make my first choice a French dip sandwich. I then asked for a country fried steak and eggs. Instead, she let me know they didn’t have that either. I told her I would need another moment with the menu. When she returned, I attempted to order a few other alternative items was told they didn’t have the ingredients to make any of my other choices. I then asked politely what did they have available and I was told that they had burgers so I ordered a double western burger my girlfriend and I are now 10 minutes away from our appointment time when the waitress returns to let me know they do not have any burgers either I was charged for the chicken wings and I asked for my girlfriend’s order of spaghetti and meatballs to go when it arrived. It was completely disgusting and inedible. They were saying that the reason they didn’t have anything that I wanted to order was because they were wiped out after a Dodgers event however, there were many points where they could’ve let us know what was available and not available they failed to do that. They completely wasted my time and money. I’m never coming here again
