I visited Crêpe la Fontaine with my friend on a sunny afternoon. We were looking for a place to enjoy some French delicacies and we were not disappointed. The bakery had a rustic-chic decor and a cozy ambiance. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We ordered the ham and cheese crepe and the strawberry shortcake crepe. Both were freshly made and delicious. The ham and cheese crepe was savory and satisfying, while the strawberry shortcake crepe was sweet and fluffy. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. We also tried the coffee and tea, which were hot and aromatic. We had a wonderful time at Crêpe la Fontaine and we would definitely come back again
Favorite place to come for my lunch break! Food is made fresh and with quality ingredients! My favorites is their new French tacos with an iced caramel or vanilla latte! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming as well. With a nice place to sit outside in front of the fountain.
Love the drinks here and also desserts everything super good
I came in with my family visiting from Chile/Belgium. Jake the manager was super helpful in explaining out the menu and popular choices. My family said he spoke Spanish very well for an American. Jadhira was also friendly and put in the effort to make latte art for our coffees. The cooks were very generous with the fruit and Nutella on all our crepes. My aunt and uncle thought the crepes here were better than in Belgium and France. We are definitely coming back.
Excellent service and the food is delicious, fresh , and so much better than Paris . Yes you can see the passion of the owner in making the food. My daughter loved the crepe and her friends loved it as well. It become a family tradition before our movie show … Thank you for such a great service. Thank you for the extra Nutella
Super quick, tasty and yummy crepe! Had the savory egg cheese and ham and it was delicious.
i love this place. i come here everytime i visit the veranda and they never miss. they always stuff my crepes to the brim and taste soooo yummy ! the workers here are super kind and seem to love what they do C: (if you have a sweet tooth, def recommend the crepe with nutella, strawberries, and bananas <3 )
Outstanding quality and excellent service. The crepes are perfectly cooked, with just the right texture and flavor. The presentation is always beautiful, and the place is clean and cozy. Crepe La Fontaine never disappoints 😍
great people who were able to help us with navigating the website and review system, food was top and the sweet crepes were amazing.
The crepes here are so good! I just tried the day air chocolate crepe and I loved it. Employees are also very kind
The food here is great, been here many times and find it an absolutely quick and delicious spot. The Croques are especially great!
I don't know why this place has a low rate. The crepes were awesome. So thin dough, not too sweet. Enough fillings in both crepes. The first one was subtle : salmon, avocado, cream cheese. The second one was with chicken and was good. I would like to decrease the quantity of onions 🫣 I definitely recommend this place to grab something and go. You can sit outside also, but be prepared for uncleanliness (common space for all restaurants here). The staff was polite. Thanks!
Really nice spot to decompress while shopping, outdoor seating is lovely. I got a panini which was good too, no complaints!
Wonderful environment, delicious savory and sweet crepes, cakes, Belgian waffles etc! I even saw a banana hot chocolate. My order was supposedly confused and forgotten so they gave me the “old” order and new order free of charge. Both tasted incredible.
If you’re looking for the perfect sweet and savory brunch spot, Crêpe la Fontaine is it! We stopped in and so glad we did by how delicious everything was. We ordered the Laval crêpe, loaded with Nutella, white chocolate, Oreo, Kinder, and M&Ms—pure indulgence and every bite was heavenly. On the savory side, we had a steak crêpe with caramelized onions and roasted bell peppers, and it was just as incredible—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. To top it all off, my wife and I grabbed their signature vanilla latte and rose vanilla latte, which were the perfect pick-me-ups to go with our meal. And whatever you do, don’t skip the cookies! We took home their chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie, and it was the perfect sweet treat to enjoy later. Highly recommend!
Usually I am a big cappuccino lover. This place had best cappuccino I ever had un bay area. This will be my go to place whenever I visit concord. Service was amazing. Keeping the dine in area very clean. Totally recommended for best service and for best cappuccino. I will be seeing you guys soon.
Favorite Dessert Spot! I always order from the “Sweet Belgian Waffle” item and get the LE LOUVRE, that comes with nutella - strawberries - bananas - whipped cream. It’s so delicious! Every-time I visit , I order this and pair it with one of their iced coffees. Chefs kiss, I could eat this everyday.

a little guilty pleasure of mine 🙌 went here a bunch during the summer, sitting outside near the fountain makes for such a lovely experience with friends and family. the wait time is also pretty short so if you are hungry right then and there, snag up a simple crepe! #personalfavorite is definitely the strawberry nutella crepe (the actual name for it i forgot LOL) and these crepes are HUGE so me and my little ones usually can get one and share!
I recently visited this charming crêpe shop, and I was absolutely amazed! The crêpes were incredibly delicious — perfectly thin. Not only were the crêpes are amazing, but the cakes and macarons were also outstanding. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into everything they make. The service was another highlight. The staff were so polite, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. This place is simply wonderful. I will definitely keep coming back again and again, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. If you’re ever in Veranda, this spot is an absolute must-visit! 🥰
The crepe I ordered was perfect and warm. The wait was not long at all. I have been a customer here before, always with a positive experience. The workers are so kind and energetic. They have a great attitude and warmth. The seating and the decor inside is clean with cute details that make you feel like you're in Paris.
Situated in Veranda concor. Visited twice and counting. Really good crepes! And love their crème brûlée latte. Must try

I won’t lie, the food here is very high quality and amongst the best in the area. Their menu is lengthy and has incredible variety, and I believe that the only thing on their menu that varies with quality over time is the choco-strawberry…which, when done right is absolutely divine. However, I have been coming here for almost every week for the last 2 years and they have yet to show any recognition despite me being a regular. I usually order a very similar variety of things, but no one ever seems to recognize me, my allergy, or my order despite me being there so often for so long. As someone who works in the same type of business it’s really unwelcoming and sad to see :(
I've gone to La Fontaine several times for dessert and it was always a sweet tooth fix, but not much worth raving about. But I went today and the store front appeared differently, I almost thought it was bought out and noticed they added new advertising and items onto their menu. (Green Flag #1!) I then ordered my go-to sweet crepe, which was #3 "Brest" and an affogato. When I picked up my order, I was shocked at how good it looked compared to previous times I've ordered it. (Green Flag #2!) The crepe tasted WAY better than usual, it actually had wafers inside of it & and Ferrero Rocher on top of it which wasn't the case before. So, Either I was getting the crepe wrong this entire time or someone is actually making it correctly for once but I'm impressed! It was the best one I've gotten from them thus far! The affogato was pretty good too. I'm not sure what changes are being made in the way they're operating but I do appreciate the quality of their food today. Service is good, but not outstanding -- I think the register is managed by the owner or a family member of the owner based on his customer service. He's polite but isn't going above & beyond, which is fine. As for ambiance, I think they could take it up a notch with music or arts. Maybe really attempt to lean into the french cafe theme as it doesn't feel like one.. but I know there's potential and hope they can take it to the next level. Kudos to whoever made my crepe today!
I’ve been here a few times, it’s the French cafe here in the veranda! They do sell out later in the day but there’s no crazy lines or anything that I’ve seen. The workers in my experience are friendly. There is no space to eat inside so it’s a to-go cafe but it’s situated in the veranda with plenty of seating, a fountain show outside along with a children’s park. They have crepes with sweet and savory options, along with panics l, waffles, croques, and “French tacos”. Never had them, and they sound interesting! I’ve had sweet crepes from here, they’re good and delicious, but for the price and quantity that you get, I wouldn’t say that the value is there at all. Although, they get a 4 star simply because of the quality of their macarons. However, you could find better places unless you’re severely craving crepes and you can’t drive far for it. I will say that the coffee prices are worth it, and they have a nice looking machine behind the counter.
We tried the Cannes crepe & croque madame as well as a latte & americano. My crepe was perfectly cooked and the ham, avocado, egg and cheese fillings were tasty. The croque madame was cooked perfectly and the sourdough bread had a wonderful soft interior and nice crunch. Unfortunately the large amount of cream cheese inside overpowered the delicate flavor of the ham. Side salad was well dressed and fresh. Coffee was great and my latte was perfectly steamed. It’s European style so more coffee than milk if you’re used to the over milky American lattes from ⭐️bucks etc. Be advised There is only outdoor seating a lot of it covered, but the veranda maintenance hoses things off each morning so finding a dry place to sit can be a challenge if you get there early. They also have a large selection of French pastries, sweet and savory waffles etc. We will be back to try some of the sweet crepes soon!

Menu looks great, happy to have coffee options, was our first time here. Deducted 3-stars because the young lady upfront was super rude. We were overwhelmed by the menu, was trying to narrow down order with my young daughter. Maybe had 1-customer that walked in behind us. Her tone was sassy enough to have me spending our money somewhere else from Now on. She was abrupt and impatient, which is interesting as there were no customers aside from the one person who walked in behind me. There were no orders ahead of us, but for some reason it took way longer than the other small restaurants to make. This was our first stop, and they were the last one to get our food out. I'll them 2-stars because the crepes were delicious.
Ridiculous wait to just get one thing - ONE - from the pastry counter. The pastries are already made, just sitting there, and yet I stood there for 15+ minutes waiting for someone to just grab it and hand it to me. There weren't even very many people there, as it was early in the day before noon. The people behind the counter were all working, but their system is terrible. I think they need just one more person behind the counter to hand off the dishes, get the simple stuff (like the pastries), and interact with the customers. It would free up all the other workers to just focus on their 'thing'. It didn't help that they destroyed about half of every crepe that they tried to produce (I had plenty of time to watch). Their pastries are alright, which I've had before, but I suggest, unless you have A LOT of time, avoid. If I hadn't already paid and was concerned about how long it would have taken to get my money back, I'd have left. I'm giving them 2 stars because the food, once provided, is ok - not great, mind you, but passable for sure.
Impressive menu. Tina of variety. Wonderful location in front of the fountain in veranda. 2 stars because the staff weren’t friendly/welcoming. I stood at the front counter for 10 minutes waiting to order and not even a “we’ll be with you in a second”
Unfortunately this place has completely changed their policy. The last time we were here we were told in no uncertain terms we could get the eggs on our crepes anyway we wanted them. I tried to order one today. Was told the eggs are pre-mixed which I think means they're either powdered or liquid and I had to have it that way. There were no options. This is not good customer service and it is certainly not French. So anyway another restaurant bites the dust in terms of our to go list and I'm going to have to find some place I can actively look at.

I waited 20 minutes for a panini , there were people who ordered after me who got their food first , I paid for extra toppings but got their normal amount , huge let down
The crepes are okay, but the costumer serve, is really bad the lady who is taking the order has 0 empathy.
Horrible experience . Place was not busy when I arrived and took 40 minutes to get my order. They forgot about it and it seemed I wasn’t the first person . Understaffed for sure
Just wanted to share an experience that literally just happened. My husband was walking our dog (like we always do at Veranda every morning) and our dog had vomited a little. Instead of leaving it where it was, my husband went into Crepe la Fontaine to kindly ask for napkins and the response from who he asked was a rude "napkins are for customers only." My husband thought he was joking and commented "Seriously, I just need a couple." The employee responded "Seriously, no. Napkins are only for customers." Well if you're so cheap AND rude, your business must not be doing well to not be able to sacrifice a couple of napkins.
If you read the one star reviews you can see a pattern in TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, this business dont care about their customers, money hungry, speed of service is TERRIBLE, they don't care about customer satisfaction
Bad services, owner's wife is so mean . I requested a hot water for my baby who was crying for her bottle. She turned her face and rolled her eyes in front of me saying" I can't you need to buy it" Is not the money which matters , your lack of heart that need to work on your feeling ,seeing a little baby cries.
Crepes were the only thing good here, don’t order their drinks they taste like nothing. I ordered a hot chocolate and vanilla steamer both tasted like hot water, the service sucked the women working here had a frown the whole time, not welcoming at all, first and last time i come here ✌️
I encountered a rude brunette girl while I was there. I ordered an iced tea, but it had a strange taste, almost like detergent. When I asked for another one, she completely ignored me and displayed terrible behavior. Frustrated, I ended up leaving the store without a drink at all, without my money back or any alternative drink. The experience was quite disappointing. In response to the owner: First of all, my name is Dina, not Diana. It's surprising that you don't notice the difference between the two names. Perhaps that’s why your café is so quiet and lacks customers! Additionally, we ordered a panini, and it was of very low quality and not enjoyable at all.
It was the worst crepe I ever tried, do not recommend. I took creme brulee crepe, the dough was wet and tasted bland, good crepes should be tasty even without filling. Filling didn’t remind creme brulee taste at all and was way too sweet. I don’t understand all good ratings.
Update 2025: I went to order food an asked for tomato’s. They told me it was a $3 extra charge. I said I’ve never been charged for that an showed them my last receipt. The owner an I assume his wife made the comment that someone getting fired. They have horrible attitudes here. Its been almost 4 years of going here an they have always been rude. This will be the last time I order here. My favorite part was they choose to clean above the food they are making too. See picture. Maybe they are struggling, but the attitude isn’t going to help bring service. Old review from 2023: They open at 10. I watched almost 20 ppl check the door an see the time an leave. They lost a lot of service not opening earlier. The staff also never seem happy. We come often. Maybe it’s just me. Also no actual dine in it’s part of the smaller shops with only outside seating. Avoid the coffees. There absolutely gross an over priced.
Title: A Year of Change: A Reflection on September 14th Today is a special day, and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate September 14th in honor of my great-grandmother, Maria. Her memory holds a special place in my heart, and on this day, I returned to a place my mother and I visited together just last year. I even treated myself to an Opera Cake, just as we did then. But to my surprise, things had changed dramatically. Last year, this café was bustling with life, filled with people enjoying their Saturday. Today, it was eerily quiet. The once-vibrant selection of treats had diminished, and the atmosphere felt heavy with sadness. The staff, who were once warm and welcoming, now appeared burdened, seemingly under the harsh scrutiny of the owner’s wife, who wasn’t shy about bossing them around in front of customers. In the hospitality industry, kindness and a warm environment are just as important as the quality of the food. It’s the heart of a successful café or restaurant. Without it, no matter how good the food is, the experience becomes hollow. I felt for the employees, and I hope that one day this place can return to the joyful, inviting space it once was. Here’s to cherishing the memories of the past, learning from the present, and hoping for positive change in the future.
First time eating here. and it will be my last. I spent $52 on food and asked if we could get extra fries because what was given to us was hardly any. The hamburger itself was almost $17 and when I asked if I could get some extra ones, the girl said no because that’s the measurements that they had. I understand they’re doing their job but at the same time this is ridiculous. They’re french fries!! I asked if I could also get the manager’s number because she was pretty rude about it. And was told that there is no manager’s number that we can get what kind of business is this? I’m not want to sit here and complain. I worked in the food industry for 13 years so I know what it is to give good service and this my friends was not. I feel bad for the other employees that were working there because they were really nice so this does not apply to everybody there. My advice is next time at least give a little bit of extra fries to make up for the big bill

First time trying Crêpe Le Fontaine, and it wasn’t what I expected. My party and I stopped by after our game show experience at the Red Room, and I ordered a 16 oz chai tea to warm up. I received it fairly quickly, but unfortunately it wasn’t worth it. The chai had very little flavor and tasted mostly like milk and water, and it was only lukewarm. I’m not usually one to complain or return items I’m unhappy with, but this was disappointing. Please do better, even if it’s close to closing time.
ordered #34 but was given #43, which is a waffle with chicken and tomato—completely different from what I ordered and not even a dessert. When I pointed it out, the owner insisted that I ordered #43 and said he repeated it twice. I did not order that item, and instead of correcting the mistake or offering a solution, he doubled down. I laughed it off in the moment, but the interaction was frustrating and disappointing. Mistakes happen, but insisting the customer is wrong and offering no customer service is not okay. All the bad reviews here are true. Never coming back!
My family and I spent the day at the veranda most weekends. If you care about service. Beware!! Please dont come here if you care about common customer service.. The staff didnt know, I purchased a meal earlier in the day prior to the encounter. We sat in front of the establishment. I sent my 9 year old daughter to kindly ask for a "napkin" for herself since we were right next to the location. She was covered in chocolate. The first question the staff in the front decided to ask FIRST isntead if she had "purchased" anything. My daughter replied now at the time. The fact your staff denied a child for a simple napking because you felt she wasnt a customer at the time buying something from you was absurd to me. The response she came back to me was they wouldn't give her a napkin because it was for customers only. Mind you we purchased a full meal there prior. I didnt know I had to teach my daughter to instead lie potentially to get a simple napkin. So I went in there and purchased a WATER BOTTLE so I could receive a napking for my daughter. I been part of the food industry for 10 years in management. The fact some sort of management was present to witness it all says alot about the customer service for this place. Please dont send your child for a napkin unless you have a receipt of purchase next time. You have lost my business. Great job Crepe la Fontaine.
I visited this place to address a concern about the quality of one of their beverages , specifically the iced tea, which had a strange taste likely due to the water or ice. When I brought this up, the waitress (I didn’t catch her name , she had heavy makeup, long lashes, and noticeable big eyes) was extremely rude and dismissive. Her attitude was as if I was attacking her, If she had taken two seconds to actually process what I was saying, she would’ve realized it was just about the quality of a drink, not that deep!! Instead of listening to my concern, she repeatedly interrupted me, and when I politely asked her not to, she mocked me by repeating my words in a sarcastic tone. To be exact when I said, “Can you please not interrupt?”, she mocked me by repeating “interrupt” in a sarcastic tone. When I followed up with “Listen”, she fired back with “Listen” again , mocking me, face to face, like a joke. I tried to clarify again, and she continued mimicking me, which made the situation unnecessarily tense. It was never about her, it was about the quality of the drink. But because she was more focused on her phone and jumped in to talk about the sweetness of the tea before hearing my issue, it became clear she lacked basic customer service skills, especially listening. If she had the awareness or basic professionalism to actually listen, she’d realize I wasn’t attacking her, I was literally just trying to get a poorly made iced tea address.Someone with that attitude should not be the face of any hospitality business. What should have been a quick conversation about a drink turned into an unpleasant interaction solely due to her attitude and lack of professionalism. If she had just listened with a respectful tone, this wouldn’t have escalated. In response to the owner, Thank you for taking the time to respond. Just to clarify: I wouldn’t take the time to leave a review over something as basic as an iced tea if the issue ended there. This wasn’t about the drink , it was about how my concern was handled: dismissed, interrupted, and mocked to my face. I approached the situation calmly and respectfully. I asked not to be interrupted , instead, your staff repeated my words back to me in a sarcastic tone. That’s not customer service, that’s unprofessional. I mentioned this clearly in my original review , so how exactly am I at fault for being disrespected by your staff? If a guest raises a simple concern and your team responds with mockery, how do you expect them to react? If your manager can’t handle a basic complaint without becoming defensive, and your response is to mirror that by deflecting instead of taking accountability, that’s not hospitality , that’s ego. You’re more focused on saving face than understanding what actually went wrong. You say “respect goes both ways” — and I agree. But in any service-based business, it’s the staff’s job to lead with professionalism, not make the customer earn it. If that dynamic is reversed, it reflects a culture problem , not a one-off moment. I don’t need to exaggerate or lie. The interaction happened exactly as described. And if this is how honest, calm feedback is met , with defensiveness and condescension , then no, I won’t be returning. And I imagine I won’t be the only one since I’m not the only one complaining about an attitude issue when it comes to your staff
