Opinions de LITA Concord
The vibe was good! My waiter could have paid a little bit more attention to us. But besides that we had a good time. The Food was Magnificent!!!! We will be back there soon and already have told some of my friends to check it out! Much Respect ✊🏽
Our servers were very attentive. Food was delicious and “Family Sharing” plates are definitely meals to be shared with the 2 side dishes. My cocktail was amazing. I will definitely return!
This place is an ENTIRE vibe!!! I recently saw an episode of "Check Please Bay Area," and that's how we stumbled across this gem. You can definitely bring your girlfriends here or have a couple's days night! The ambiance is very lively and colorful. The food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! 👏🏾👏🏾The drinks are not only pretty but dangerous, in the sense that they sneak up on you! 👌🏾👌🏾 The service is IMPECCABLE!!!🤌🏾We've already been 3x since finding this spot and will continue to keep coming back!!!
The manager, Brian, and GM, Andres, were so incredibly accommodating my table especially with my allergies. I have tons of allergies and some places have to make a lot of adjustments, but they actually were able to accommodate all of my restrictions without even changing some of the main dishes. I had the soup and it was amazing. Highly recommend it. It was so authentic and delicious. I can't wait to come back!
Dropped in after an afternoon stroll. First time. Loved the food. Attentive service. The kind of place I'd like to go to on a Saturday night with a group and enjoy all the different Tapas plates. Will definitely go back.
Celebrated my birthday at Lita, and it definitely was worth it. My whole party loved Lita. If your group is more then 6, you need to email the restaurant, they are fast with their response, plus they were able to accommodate one of my friend's special needs with the sitting. Everyone went for 2nd round of ordering appetizers, it was that good, along with their main dishes & dessert. This was first with my friends ordering so much, & cleaning their plates off. Food was really good, the vibe was up to par. Everyone will have good time. Staff definitely know the dishes, do take their recommendations, if it's your 1st time. My favorites were the vegetarian empanadas, plantain, jerk chicken🔥, chocolate passionfruit cake. My friend got the new dish cassava risotto with jerk chicken, I tried small bite, oh man it was delicious. Being from Fiji, I never thought risotto could be made out of cassava (Yuca root). Portion are worth sharing at Lita. Definitely will go back to try other dishes.💕
If I could give Lita more than 5 stars, I would! Lita is my favorite restaurant. From the food, to the service, everything is a 10/10. I recently took my grandmother here for her birthday and the service and food was great. Rhea and Javie were very attentive and on top of everything. Lita will not disappoint!! I attached pictures of their oxtail dinner, calaloo soup, and coconut ice cream. Literally everything on their menu is good.
I must admit, this place surprised me. Thought it would be more hype the quality, probably will have good cocktails & festive atmosphere. Lita delivered. Cocktails and atmosphere were great, though a bit loud (or am I just getting old?) The food was outstanding! Had the risotto with steak and the short rib. Portions were very generous and flavor and quality was top notch. Definitely will be back!
My first visit to Lita's was an amazing experience I will never forget. Our reservation was for a party of 5. We visited around 6:30pm, on a Thursday evening. We were celebrating two birthdays. Street parking was very convenient. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the one and only Chef Sean Streete. After a brief conversation, we were led to our seats my the hostess. There was a moderate amount of patrons dining inside and outside. The music playing provided a really nice vibe. The kitchen had an open view so we were able to see the cooking crew busy at work. Once seated, the waitress approached and gave a little history on Chef Sean. She then took our drink orders. A few minutes passed then our drinks arrived. We then placed our food order. We ordered the black pepper shrimp and shrimp ceviche, the Cassava Risotto w/steak, braised oxtails w/rice & peas and sweet plantains. We also enjoyed Lita's house made chips & dip, Caribbean street corn, coconut braised pork belly tacos, pineapple upside down cake, key lime curd, chocolate passion cake and Lita donut holes. Order any of the above and you will be pleased. Our servers were wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable about the meals. Chef Sean came out toasted and conversed with us. He even wished the birthday ladies a very Happy Birthday. We enjoyed great service, great food/drinks and the ambiance was awesome. We are forever thankful to Chef Sean and his crew. We will definitely return. I highly recommend Lita's for a wonderful dining experience. Lita's get two thumbs up.
Woah, skirt steak, ceviche, black pepper shrimp, lobster corn dog, and a crazy biggo drank (Queen Anne's Revenge). This is a new restaurant that Walnut Creek was been waiting for that was in construction and held up due to the pandemic. The vibes and the atmosphere was stunning. They serve Caribbean cuisine and it was amazing. I've never had plantains but I really enjoyed it; texture and flavor wise. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and the coconut rice enhanced it. The ceviche was lit, I can eat that forever. It wasn't heavy and the cured fish keeps my tastebud wanting more. The lobster corn dog, one of a kind, and you gotta get one because it's iconic. Everybody wants a bite of that glizzy. Will be back to try other dishes.
We had brunch at Lita this past Sunday. We arrived early, so there was no wait for a table. What a fun place! The service staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is "island-camp." All kinds of interesting foods on the menu. I'm vegetarian and had no problem selecting several options. Everyone agreed that this was one of our better restaurant experiences. By noon the place was busy and yet even with several large groups the noise level was low and we could easily hear each other. Try out Lita - it may end up on your list of favorite Walnut Creek spots.
WOW! I can’t believe I am just hearing about this place. The atmosphere was great and the music that was playing was very true to the culture of the cuisine. The waiters were attentive and quick for whatever we needed. The appetizers were amazing and the same can be said about the main courses. Also cocktails were delicious. Presentation on all things we ordered were spectacular. Will definitely be coming back! And oh my gosh the pineapple upside down cake is a must!!
Wonderful restaurant in Walnut Creek. We went for lunch, without drinks, the total bill was just over $60, including tax. Service was excellent, never had to ask for water, the server was constantly filling the cups. The grilled octopus was pretty good. Also, Jerk Chicken Bowl was very good for the money. We also had Salt Cod Fritters, the dish was okay, we had better ones in Portugal.
AMAZING Does not even begin to express the flavor. As an east coast native who grew up around Caribbean foods I can say it's what it's supposed to be with an extra twist. A step up from traditional dishes. Including Trinidad dishes is rare. You will find it here in addition to Jamaican, Puerto Rican foods and drinks. The ambiance is clean, and comfortable with indoor and out door seating. Heat towers to keep you warm if you wish to be outside. Javier will also make your experience one to remember. Lastly please whatever you do leave room to order the key lime dessert. I CAN NOT BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW DELICIOUS IT IS. try it I dare you. We traveled 30 minutes to try this place and it served. Thank you for showing these west coaster how it's done. Photos to come....Curry coconut chicken empanadas, jerk chicken sandwich, tostones(unreal and unlike any other we have had..the taste), mango ice tea, Jamaican Forktail (loved this), and finally the key lime. Nom.nom. definitely will be back.
Lita is such a standout in Walnut Creek. The food is elevated, beautifully presented, and full of bold, thoughtful flavors. Everything we tried was fresh, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care — this is the kind of place you go when you want a really memorable dining experience. The atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, making it perfect for date nights, celebrations, or a special night out. Service was attentive and professional without being stuffy, which really added to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a high-quality, upscale dining spot in Walnut Creek, Lita is absolutely worth it. One of the best restaurants in the area.
Went here for our anniversary, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted right away and asked how we were doing, which made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The restaurant is very clean, organized, and has a classy, bougie aesthetic with a beautifully designed interior that sets a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive, always checking in, refilling our water, and making sure our table was perfect. Since it was our anniversary, they even surprised us with a complimentary glass of champagne and free ice cream, which made the night feel extra special. The food was outstanding. Everything was full of rich flavor and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Caribbean bowl with oxtail, if came with two large, tender pieces that were packed with flavor and generous in size. I also tried the curry empanada, which was crispy, savory, and full of delicious seasoning. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience from service to food, and the added anniversary touches made it unforgettable. Highly recommend for any special occasion!
Such a rare gem! My partner and I were visiting Walnut Creek, we are not from the area and stumbled upon this place. Hands down a beautiful atmosphere and such great service! We sat at the bar and the food and service was just amazing. We had the steak and donut holes and cocktails were 10/10. The chef happened to be there and after small talk he happened to work over at our home town Napa! So he was really nice in greeting us and overall gave us a great experience! Def recommend !
Lita in Walnut Creek is a gorgeous, high-end restaurant with stunning décor and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. We went on a Monday night without a reservation and were seated right away at a great table — no hassle at all. The Monday special was a three breaded shrimp taco plate served with three different salsas — absolutely scrumptious, and a great deal at only $15. My wife ordered Lita’s Steak dinner with Crispy Brussel Sprouts, and both dishes were outstanding. The steak was top-notch and perfectly paired with the plantains and rice. The Brussel sprouts were phenomenal, served with a flavorful curry sauce that really stood out. Our server, Dominic, was excellent — attentive without being overbearing. He anticipated everything, bringing drink refills before we even had to ask, and his recommendations were spot-on. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with great food, service, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lita is a standout addition to the Walnut Creek dining scene. We dropped in on a whim at 3 PM and, despite the restaurant being fully committed through the evening, the front-of-house team was incredibly accommodating and found us space at the bar. The experience was seamless. The food and cocktail programs are excellent, but the hospitality is what truly shines—the team goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Highly recommended, though I’d suggest booking in advance given how popular it is!
My wife and I drove here from San Jose just to off a review that we saw on Tik Tok. The drive was well worth it and I’d do it again. The food was 10/10. My wife had the oxtail which fell off the bone. It was seasoned to perfection and the tenderness was next level. The oxtail was around $40 which I’d pay for everyday of the week. I had the shrimp curry pasta which was excellent as well. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a great dining experience. The wait time was about 25 minutes for the bar and 1 hour plus for a table but for this food I see why.
Made reservations for a group of 10 and they were able to accommodate easily! It’s a crowded small space but still doable. The drinks were very good and strong which was good because there were all $15 and up. I had the jerk salmon and was so delicious and seasoned so perfectly!
I could write a book about Lita's, their Food, Service and Atmosphere are Stellar. Under the Direction of Executive Chef Sean Streete the Variety, the Presentation, and The Taste of the Food is like no other Experience you'll Ever have. Do yourself a Favor and check them out. I've invited 2 and 22 people at different times and All my Guests brags to Everyone about Lita's.
We were on a mission to find the best happy hour in the Bay Area, and Lita completely surprised us in every way! We’ve been comparing cocktails from everywhere including all the major cities in the world, and Lita’s are right up there. Happy hour food? Absolutely delicious—easily as good as the Michelin-starred spots we’ve tried in downtown SF( I am serious) . We’ll definitely be coming back to explore the lunch and dinner menus!
Food was top tier. Empanadas were some of the best I’ve ever had! The mock tails were amazing too!
Salt cod fritters were light but flavorful and quite crispy but not greasy. Garden salad was fantastic and they sell it in half portions which are still large. Oxtails were so well cooked, soft and succulent. The mushroom quesadilla was fantastic, deeply savory. Lightly crispy and lightly cheesy, the mushrooms were the star. They were so filled with umami. The whole meal was $100, tax and tip included, a very special treat.
We had an incredible dining experience at Lita on a Tuesday night around 7pm. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, with a diverse mix of guests—from birthday celebrations and family dinners to friends catching up and what looked like a few first dates. It felt like the perfect spot for any occasion. The food was absolutely fabulous, and the service was top notch. Our server, Javier, made the night even better with his warm personality, great smile, and deep knowledge of the menu—from cocktails to dessert. He was attentive without being overbearing, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. Every dish we tried was exquisite, but the Yum Numb Salt & Pepper shrimp appetizer was a standout. Perfectly seasoned and cooked—definitely a must-try. The Jerk Salmon was just spicy enough for those that like heat but still want to taste the flavors. The Black Pepper Shrimp is a sure winner if you’re undecided. For dessert, the pineapple upside down cake with rum currant sauce was unforgettable. I’d come back just for that alone. As for drinks, everything we tasted was delicious, but my favorite was the Isle de Tigre—refreshing, balanced, and beautifully crafted. I highly recommend Lita for anyone looking for excellent food, stellar service, and a vibrant yet comfortable vibe. Can’t wait to go back!
My fiancé and I popped in here on a Friday night after seeing a movie and it was BUSY so we knew we were in for a treat. We were fortunate to slide in to a couple bar seats almost right away. Service is outstanding, food is excellent, and cocktails came quick for how involved they are. It was a vibe. At 10pm (closing) the place was jumpin. The atmosphere was just FUN. We’re stoked to come back for dinner and try more of the menu. I had the Isle de Tigre, which was great. My girl had a Jamaican Forktail mocktail. Her’s was on the sweet side, but hey, better sweet than diluted. 10/10 and we only hit the tip of the iceberg here.

Excellent Caribbean restaurant. They also have a very good bar that makes delicious drinks. And if you get the chance, don't miss the happy hour, it's a real deal.

I had a great lunch here. The Coconut Braised Pork Belly Taco and the Di Stefano Burrata (with cranberry chutney) were the absolute standouts—the flavor combinations are outstanding. I also really enjoyed the Caribbean Beef Empanadas and the Beer Battered Wild Rock Cod Taco. This is a spot I’ll definitely be returning to.
Fantastic food, excellent service Ashley was our se r ver. She was very patient and explained our questions about the dishes. Two of us were shellfish allergic and she pointed out all the amazing dishes available. The decor was great. Parking was at a premium. We definately will be back soon. We found it on the ,"Check Please site."
The food at Lita is superb. I had the curry shrimp pasta, and it was wonderful. Our appetizers were great. Our drinks were phenomenal. The best thing about my experience at Lita was the service I received from Ashley Nicole. We were originally seated outside and it was freezing and Ashley Moved us inside quickly after the front desk host told us that we wouldn’t be able to. Ashley made wonderful recommendations. She was accommodating relatable and down to earth. I really loved her service. She made the experience at Lita miraculous.
We were so thrilled for the opportunity to dine at Lita again! Our first experience was so fantastic we couldn’t wait to go back. I never thought to imagine Guacamole with Pineapple, but it works! But one of the many musts that should be tried is the Pork Belly Bao. Omg yum! Melt in your mouth tender braised Pork Belly on a near perfect Bao. Chef please please share this recipe with me! My wife absolutely loved the Jerk Chicken and exclaimed it was the most tender Chicken she’s ever had and I agreed. And those plantains yum! To finish we had the Pineapple Upside Down Cake with Coconut Ice Cream and Rum Raisin sauce. Absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to go back to Lita. Definitely go!
The food was amazing and so flavorful! The ambiance is really nice, it was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The chief was so kind and professional and was present for the customers. We will definitely be going back, it is the best Latin-Caribbean food I’ve tasted in a long time! 😋 The best in the Bay Area for sure!

the curry goat was great empanadas were lovely , drinks were ok charred pineapple guacamole was yummy, chips had tajin could do without the tajin but over all good food the waitresses are super nice they do not skimp on portions which i loved . very sleek cute place for any occassion
The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and the meat on the oxtails was falling off the bone. I have eaten rice and peas many times, restaurant as well as home made, so the flavor at Ltas was not familar to me. The crab dish was totally not what I expected. It was slightly spicy with a nice flavor, but estecticly was not inviting; not my favorite dish. I will try something else next time.
I have to say Chef Sean food is out of this world! Food is delicious, and curated in every details! If I could I’d give 10 stars for his food! On the other end service is pretty slow and sloppy, we waited about 15-min for some water refill, and they also mess up my drinks! Ambiance is super nice I like it a lot! We will be back hopefully we get better service next time!
Good service, decent food, loud music, and good drinks so overall a 4 out of 5. Food is really pricey. Shareable plates cost more than some meals at different restaurants and you need quit a few of them. Ceviche trip was good, but chips they came with had spice and flavor that it was hard to get the flavors of the actual fish. Friend and I each enjoyed our drinks that were the typical $15+ for a mixed drink... Sadly the norm now. I told a different friend it's like an Instagram restaurant where they care about ambiance and looks over anything. It was a fun experience, but not sure I'll be back.
LITA offers a delightful Caribbean dining experience right in the heart of Walnut Creek. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual night out or a special gathering, although can get a little loud during the weekend. A big shout-out to our server, Francisco, whose attentive and friendly service made our evening even better. The menu is full of exotic and flavorful options. The Cheviche Trio was fresh and vibrant (especially the Ahi tuna third), and the Salt Cod Fritters were such a hit with our group of eight that we ordered them three times - crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. The black pepper shrimp and goat curry were also standouts, rich with Caribbean spices and perfectly cooked. What truly felt as the mouthwatering explosion was there Escovitch fish! The herbal seasoning was just out of this world. They have a nice wine list and even offer a $25 corkage fee if you bring your own bottle - I believe it’s pretty reasonable. Plus, their hours are convenient, place even open on Mondays, which is rare for the area. If you haven’t tried a black lager beer👍, this is the place to start. Overall, LITA is a cool addition to the WCreek scene with its chilled vibe, great service, and vibrant flavors. Would definitely return!
I'll start with the negative, when we arrived we weren't greeted because the three managers where outside having a meeting. When the finally acknowledged us the General Manager , Micheal I believe is his name , was so off putting I'll think twice about coming back. I have been here several times but he was rude , spoke to me aggressively, and was a poor reputation for management at best . They assistant manager (male) did try to rectify the situation and was very apologetic but both the GM and what I assume was another female manager NEED TRAINING and need to learn to talk with respect. The food : Top tier this wasn't our first time here and when we have been here in the past we got the opportunity to meet the Chef , I really hope feedback is shared with him, his front of the house stafff doesn't match the experience you expect to have especially at this price point.
Wish we could give Half Stars because it would be a 4.5 Overall Experience. The lethargic Service almost dropped it a full star but the food can't totally suffer due to 1 Waitperson's lackadaisical ways. GET the Black Pepper Shrimp! A MUST!! Plump, juicy, fully flavored Asian-esque. Plantains thankfully were sweet, ripe and caramelized properly. Had a hybrid salad of the greens with the white Strawberries, Balsamic but added Grilled Shrimp, which came with the Chimichurri. The Chimichurri...and Shrimp was PHENOMENAL! It burst with FLAVOR so much so, when the shrimp were gone, we ate the sauce solo. Passionfruit Dressing full of tropical deliciousness on the side. Ceviche Verde was okay. Needs more flavor, heat and acid. It came with the Spiced Chips, which were messy and lacked flavor. A little salt goes a long way! GET the Mango Margarita, the only one that comes with the Popsicle. It can almost be its own meal, as it's literally pureed Mango flesh, which gives the 'Cicle great meatless and heft. The Passionfruit Mojito was equally as delish but sans a popsicle. The Guava Margarita was on the weaker side. As an honorary Island Gyal, who consumes tropical fruits on a regular, the Guava could use fresh infusion. They made butter noodles with a side of their cheese emulsion, which they normally use for their Mac & Cheese. One of our younger patrons wouldn't eat their regular M&C, so they saved a table of would-be tears by bringing a side of the emulsion to add to the noodles. The Yute was happy! Lastly, we had the Baja Taco, which was ONLY 1 with 1 Beer Battered piece of Cod. Should've AT LEAST been 2 for $11. Typical Slawed and good nonetheless. Overall, would definitely return. It's a vibe. Had great music. All crowds were welcomed and everyone was chic but laid-back. Sexy and safe place for a 1st date without breaking the bank but showing a great time with class, too. Street and Parking Lot up the block.
The atmosphere was great music playing but it was not so loud you couldn't hear the other person. The food was delicious oxtails were a little overcooked but still tasty. The food was very fresh. I had a mango margarita, which was wonderful! The service was wonderful as well. I would definitely come here again.

Street and Parking Lot up the block.
the curry goat was great empanadas were lovely , drinks were ok charred pineapple guacamole was yummy, chips had tajin could do without the tajin but over all good food the waitresses are super nice they do not skimp on portions which i loved . very sleek cute place for any occassion
The atmosphere was great music playing but it was not so loud you couldn't hear the other person. The food was delicious oxtails were a little overcooked but still tasty. The food was very fresh. I had a mango margarita, which was wonderful! The service was wonderful as well. I would definitely come here again.
I've been here twice. Once for lunch and most recently for dinner. Unfortunately, both times, I was not impressed. What's seen on IG is a highlight reel, and I now question the influencer's taste buds. The menu doesn't have a lot of choices on there. The empanadas were the best thing I ate along with the coconut milk donut holes. The pineapple guacamole was original, but the Taki flavor chips were too salty for me. I ordered the steak with chimichurri sauce, rice and peas, and plantains. The steak was okay, and the rice and peas were uneventful. I also ordered the mangonada margarita with the popsicle -- It was cute, but eeehhh. Try it for yourself, but I don't need to go back.
I must start off by saying that the green tea that I had was top tier. It was decadent and rich. The ONLY thing I enjoyed here. The stale food we ate gave us major indigestion and heart burn. From the appetizers to the main course, the common flavor profile was sour, extremely sour and unbearably sour. There were hardly any authentic Caribbean flavors. I'm from the Caribbean, just moved here from New York city and was hoping to find a jem that would satisfy my craving for some West Indian cuisine. We started with the guac and chips. The initial bite into my first chip was like biting into a crispy bitter lime. Every taste bud in my mouth was horribly awakened and cried for relief. I took a sip of my delicious green tea and went back for another try. Why? The first bite was an unexpected surprise that caught me off guard. Now that I know what's infront of me, maybe it will soften the blow. Unfortunately that was not the case. None of the three adults at the table could tolerate the extremely sour chips enough to endure more than three bites. Sigh. The purple cabbage was embedded in another sour concoction and so was the Caribbean slaw. The escovitch peppers and onions, delivered yet another sour flavor profile as if there wasn't enough already. I had the calloo bowl, which further disappointed. The texture of the ocra was like that of corn husk or raw sugar cane. A sign of stale food that should not be consumed. I mentioned it to our waiter but I guess they could care less if you eat or not, much less enjoy what has been ordered. We didn't ask for any concessions, discounts or replacements but some kind of acknowledgement would have been appreciated. My partner paid, tipped generously and we left, never to return or recommend to a friend or foe (not even they deserve to eat this.)
