The staff is absolutely amazing, so very kind and welcoming! Food….outstanding! Then karaoke was going to start, couldn’t do it tonight hahaha maybe next time! Great music and vibes! Love! We will be back!

Best Sushi spot in Concord! My wife and I have been coming here for three years since we moved into the area, after we tried a few others. After trying others then we tried sushi raku and decided it was our favorite! It's got a great menu, not just sushi, including beef teriyaki, donburi, and even Japanese curry. Nice older couple that runs it, very wonderful people!

My pics suck because I gobbled up everything beautiful before I thought to leave a review. This place is so great. Ambiance is not fancy. The salmon melts like buttuh. The 49er roll is everything. I come back for it again and again. They are sweet here and they serve very quickly! Price is so right! The chef gave us free something or other in a shell full of delicious sauces. Not sure what it was but not mad about complimentary yummies!!! What a great experience for date night! This is our place for sure!

Amazing service! Our server was amazing and even gave my group these inflatable headbands for us to wear! This is also the best sushi I ever had and the price isn’t even too bad.

Instant favorite! Outstanding hole-in-the-wall establishment. Got 3 Uni as part of the generous sashimi lunch special. Fantastic fish protein quality, strongly competitive prices, lovely family-owned environment. Will go here again as soon as I'm nearby.

Wonderful warm atmosphere and delicious food. Cozy place. Service was perfect. The food was simply amazing; flavorful, plentiful, fresh, quick to come to table. We had Ramen and some hand rolls highly suggest the pork belly Ramen with tonkatsu broth.

I really love this place and their ramen. It’s my happy place actually. I recommend the cha shu tonkotsu ramen, crispy roll, and shrimp tempura. Just thinking about them makes my mouth water. They have big servings and complimentary salad and miso soup. Plenty of parking.

Great little sushi place, the sushi came out fast and while this looks good, I would not recommend this particular meal, the tuna felt too salty, but there are others that are good. Overall, was happy with the sashimi, salad, and miso soup and I think would go back again to try something else on the menu.

I’m literally sitting out in front of this place………… I’m a tow truck driver I picked up a to go plate of Tim poor shrimp they threw in a salad and a bowl of soup I couldn’t be happier with the girls are absolutely delightful and very helpful. The food is delicious and the service is very fast Not to mention the price holy smokes come check this place out the reasonable pricing and the atmosphere is absolutely worth the money.

Tried Sushi Raku for the first time. Ordered spicy ramen on a cold rainy day. It was exactly what I needed to get through the day. Just the right amount of spice! The customer service was fantastic too. I will definitely be back!

Absolute BEST all around Sushi spot!!! The owners are incredible and the staff is just as amazing. Great quality food, best service around and incredible enjoyable atmosphere! Especially the karaoke nights! We request here regularly the past 3 years and it’s now our kids favorite place! Very family friendly.

Ordered take out here to bring back to our hotel and was completely blown away by the portion sizes they gave us!! Back in Texas we’d pay the same price for half the amount of sea food. After placing my order I set off with my service pupper in training to pickup our order When we arrived, we were both welcomed in & the lady gave me a bottle of water & a bowl for my dog. He was so thankful Once we got back home with my order I was shocked by the portion sizes. By far the biggest I've seen & on top of that they threw in some extra food The Chicken Teriyaki was sooo good & the sushi rolls are big This is now my favorite Sushi Spot & I will not be going anywhere else!!!! Not the most obvious location, in the back of ranch 99, but easy to park. I would say some of the taste caters toward more American style Japanese, but nevertheless big portions. Good tempura. Great people.

Excellent sushi roll and amazing big sashimi pieces!!! The jalapeno appetizer is great too. Friendly staff and neat Japanese style interior. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back for more.

Wow what a great Sushi find! This is our new favorite Sushi restaurant. The people who work here are so nice, the food is fantastic, from their bento boxes, to their sashimi, to their wild Sushi roles. Great portion sizes, to the awesome free Miso soup and salads. We would have taken pictures but the take out packing wouldn’t have done it justice. Mind you they did a fantastic job with the take out packaging. Prices are very reasonable, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended this gem on the back side of the Park and Shop center.

The portions were huge! Many times gyosa was on the house and bottle water as well...what a wonderful treat and generosity!!! One afternoon when it was very cold outside, the owner even treated me to a bowl of miso soup and a cup of matcha tea!! Oh, I could giver her hugs!!! So, thank you, Sushi Raku, for being hospitable, generous and loving. And a SHOUT OUT to the kitchen staff for making such delicious food! This restaurant is a MUST place to go to in Concord.

The food was great but it’s unlikely we’ll return, at least with the kids. There’s no corner to hide from TV screens playing kids’ shows so my screens were distracted from the food.

We went to Sushi Raku for dinner. We got complimentary gyoza, soup and salad. Even at the end it came with green tea ice cream. Our family was in the area, so we decided to come here and it was good. Would come again.

The sushi was fresh and good but they brought everything together instead of letting me finish the appetizer. Nevertheless, the service attitude and care is excellent. The place is a bit cluttered, they could clean the places up at the sushi bar for solo customers like Yours Truly.

No idea how they have a 4.7 rating. Fish was super chewy. Rainbow roll was bland and the spicy tuna was not spicy. Tastes like it's just straight tuna with no spicy on it. Honestly, I've had gas station sushi that tastes better than this. And yes, I've had gas station sushi when I was in my 20's and didn't know any better. Lol! 🤣
