Update: The manager did contact me and say he will have a meeting to discuss the issue. He did say he would talk with lady about this issue as well. He did say he refunded my online order. I can confirm he did I got an email for it. Besides that it was a misunderstanding and he took care of. Very good leadership who took control of it immediately. I will be going back just because how it was handled by him. Thank you sir you did a great job and I’ll be returning now. 5stars

Great service every time we come here! Always smiling and kind. Kolaches are delicious, ranchero is my go to. KOTM is always a great new flavor. They usually still have a big selection in the afternoon too!

I have other kolache places I prefer in terms of quality but it is hard to beat the Kolache Factory for quantity of options or consistency. This location is very similar to others I have been to and they were working hard to keep up with the waves of customers throughout the brunch rush. The ham and cheese kolache I ordered didn't actually have any cheese, though, so I definitely won't be ordering that again.

First time here. We ordered jalapeno popper "kolaches". They were fresh and very tasty. I now know that these aren't true kolaches because they contain no fruit. We still enjoyed them very much.

This was my first visit to the Kolache Factory. I went a little after 6am and I have to say I was pleased the the food. I had never had these before but they were good. The staff was helpful and polite and the restaurant was clean.

The kolache factory rocks! Their kolaches are incredibly delicious! This particular kolache factory has very nice people. The one negative is how expensive they have gotten over the last year or so.

Kolache shop with decent food. The service is hit or miss. Some people are really friendly and nice and others are not. The kolaches are a bit overpriced and not always that good.

When they have kolaches, they are my favorite kolaches factory around. Sadly, if you go at 7am (an hour after opening) they have nothing out yet and always state “20 mins”. If you want kolaches wait until after 730am and they may have them.

Okay. Kolaches are good, really like the pecan coffee. Here's my problem. My wife found a coupon for this particular store for a free sausage and cheese with purchase of ANYTHING of equal or higher value. Fair enough. I order 3 premium kolaches and tried to use the coupon only to find out that if you buy anything with eggs, coupon is invalid. WHAT? Apparently there is an extreme egg shortage that must be localized to their parking lot or something because I just bought eggs at HEB and they were fully stocked, in fact, I noticed the price on eggs had dropped since last time. Either way, whatever. Not a coupon queen anyway. Problem is, when trying to make sense of it all and resolve the issue because it was a little confusing, they were not very helpful at all. So poor customer service. I am in the service industry as well and customer service is KING! They were rude, very stern and offered no solution. I figured it all out on my own and all is well. I will still go back but it was just wierd. An egg shortage? Are the chickens on strike or what?

He said the only reason he was working there was because probation said he had to and he would leave if he could. So my very first visit was quite contentious. Will I be back? Sure, if Ruben isn't at the counter.

The fragrance is horribly strong and gives my whole family an instant headache. My daughter goes in 3 times a week and when she gets in my van (only in for literally 2 minutes), she smells like extremely strong cleaner or room fragrances. They need to keep cleaners unscented and take out room deodorizer. So many people are allergic. Great workers, great service!

This always happens to me seeing that I enjoy brunch instead of breakfast....I believe some sort of system needs to be put in place to ensure customers can receive their order in a timely matter.

Went there Sunday morning. The lady behind the counter didn't really look like she wanted to be there. Had a blank stare. I say if you don't like your job find another. My wife and I ordered a potato and egg kolache. The lady heated it up in a microwave. Grabbed our bag and left. Took the first bite and it was cold even though they nuked it. And it just didn't taste good. I ate at other K.F and they were decent but not today.

Will I decided to try their Millennial Kolache...and wasted $4 and something cents on 1 kolache and to be disappointed.Where is my Avocado??? I paid too much for nothing.

The service is terrible - these ladies do not speak English and continue to speak Spanish to one another while waiting on customers. The young girl who waited on me today did not know which kolache was peach.... plus manager has large neck tattoo and is very unprofessional. Even though it will be inconvenient, I will try to find a different Kolache Factory to stop at before going into work.

I cannot recommend this location specifically go someplace Else. The food was fantastic the customer service not. I was served by a cashier named Angel. I gave him my order and he recommended I get the cranberry sauce to along with the kolache of the month I ordered. I tell him yes I proceed to pay and I leave. As I’m double checking my bags he had forgotten the cranberry sauce. No big deal, I go back I ask for it, he hands it to me, we’re cool. I get back to the house and my girlfriend is asking for her potato kolache. I check the receipt I obviously paid for a potato egg and cheese and 2 ranchero kolaches. I don’t understand how Angel couldn’t pay attention for atleast two minutes so I could have gotten my order correctly but I have to say it ruined my first experience with the restaurant. How could I have known I didn’t get my order correctly without having to split open the kolache? They are organized and labeled behind the counter, so why was my order made wrong? Maybe laziness or incompetence or both.

The food used to be great. I don't know if it got bought by a different company but now all the food tastes like it is coated in fabuloso. You can smell the fabuloso on the drink I bought even after I left and I can smell it as I ate the food. Please stop using that cleaner. It will be better for everyone's taste buds.

This place is trash. Never clean, no coffee ready at 8:30. I know it’s just a kolache factory, but you should have coffee ready to serve. Daniel the manager at the time had a terrible attitude Just don’t go.

Stopped by twice in a two week period. First time they were open, but hardly had items available yet and was unapologetically told “it’s not ready yet” and today I arrive at 6:17a and the doors were still locked even though the store is said to open at 6am. while myself and about 4 other customers were waiting to go in. Someone finally opened the door but by that time the other people had left. The open sign came on about 6:20 and of course a lot of the items were not ready.

This place is awful. I don't know how hard it is to have sausage gravy kolaches. The past 5 times I've gone, they don't have any available and say they'll be ready in 30 minutes. I know they're popular because multiple people come in and ask about them as well. Management is failing.

This place is gross. They don’t keep food in warmers and leave things like eggs and meats out in the open for bacteria to grow and contaminate the food. They also get mad if you ask for something that’s fresh and still hot, the cashier literally yelled at me saying “they’re all cold!” Okay! I don’t know why we even bought anything at all. We got bacon egg and cheese kolaches that had two flakes of bacon in it and some gross eggs inside idr it having any cheese at all. Rude people. Gross food. I’ll stick to Shipley’s ! Always hot n fresh and served with a smile !

The ladies in there this morning Friday August 26th were rude and rushed us to the point we left. She also did not speak English very well. It was insane, not to mention there was no need to rush, there was nobody really in there. I usually really enjoy the Kolache Factory, but I don't think I'll ever go back to the one there on West Davis.

Major attitude today! Sold coffee but then had very little coffee avail. Rolled eyes and was very irritated when I asked him to make more coffee. I Asked to speak to the manager and was ignored. Not many kolaches avail. Asked numberous times for the young man’s name and he refused to give it to me.

Came to the store an hour before they closed so my choices were limited and thats understandable. When I went to order what was available, I asked for a box. The cashier Anthony, said I wasnt able to get a box because I needed to order a dozen. Ok, at this point he didnt know how many kolaches I will ordering nor did he ask. Continuing with my order I end up getting 8 total kolaches all at the price of $14.40 for kolaches. I have 1 bag of 2 fruit kolaches and another bag of savory kolaches. So I asked Anthony if I could have a box instead of having my kolaches smashed. He said store policy was to order a dozen kolaches for a box. I asked how much does someone have to spend to get a box? He said store policy is to order a dozen kolaches. Ok, fair enough. So I asked him if I had ordered 12 of the fruit kolaches (lowest cost product) which at $1.10 each x 12 = total of $13 20. I would get a box.. but I had just spent $14.40 for a total of 8 kolaches if i could get a box. Since I spent more then the lowest cost kolache he still said no. Seriously, i just wanted unsmashed kolaches to take home? He didnt undesrtand the concept. Oh well. Ill be going some place else from now on.

Horrendous. I was given the wrong food and simply asked for a refund. The supervisor decides to instead argue, insisting that because we didn't come in the same day with the uneaten food we ordered, we couldn't have the refund, not even a partial refund. Probably the most unpleasant experience I've had at a food joint.

First time eating, ordering and delivery. My order of $48.07 was wrong and no drinks. They will NOT put the money back into my account! I WILL NOT eat, order and never delivery again from this company. They wouldn't offer anything. They were the ones WHO GOT MY ORDER WRONG! NOT fair to me and OWE me MONEY!

This was the worst Kolache factory I have ever been to. It tasted very weird and the kolache was warm on the top cold on the bottom. Dry on the top of the inside and Wet and cold on the bottom of the inside.

Do not go here if you are a AARP member they do not accept their coupons even though they advertise that they do. I ended up spending my money at Shipley's donuts for Kolaches there. Why advertise if you don't accept it you the one that advertised there. It was not the employees fault but a horrible manager that didn't even want to speak to me totally incompetent manager. I will be calling AARP to take the coupons down.

Your beef Texas kolache is the same crap sausage hot dog you can buy at HEB. NO wonderful cheese melted in the bread. Just stinking stupid hot dog with cheese and jalapeños fragments in the meat. Not a kolache!

It’s 11:50 in the morning n they close at 2p. She said to bad that’s all we got. Told her will complain go ahead they don’t care. Just bad experience for first time being there. If people don’t like their job don’t work. Makes company look bad.

Location was out of food before 9am. Told me 30 minutes for bacon/cheese and sausage/cheese. Not sure how you run out of the main item so early.

I asked the employee why they stop making the most famous kolache they have 3 hours before closing and he didn’t answer me and simple said he was sorry. Let me add that there is not and still not 1 person in here. I was told it will take 35-40 minutes to make my order and if I wanted to wait. Which I am because I drove so far to get here. Than tell me I can’t have the strudle I ordered either because that would take them an hour to make. This location is absolutely horrible with with how it’s managed and how customers are just refunded and turned away because you can’t make more food? Yet you’re a place that sells food to make money? Make it make sense.
