Opinions de Red Brick Tavern Conroe
My wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. Our food was delicious. We had steak/eggs and pizza. It's a cozy atmosphere and we met some great people at the bar. We made a promise to come back.
The food is amazing! Fantastic ambiance! Great drink selection! Offering craft beers on tap and cocktails.
Mark has an exceptionally mule & Emily was a great server! The food was absolutely delicious, great value, & timing all around. The pistachio crispy chicken sandwich 9/10!
Great little space in old Conroe. Had a wonderful time for dinner and the food was excellent. Got kicked out before the show that night as we didn't have tickets and was a sold out show. Would go back.
This was my first time visit here and I will definitely be back. I went on mother's day and we had a wonderful time. Our waitress Ronni was amazing. She laughed with us, she cried with us and see blessed us. She is truly a beautiful soul and RBT is lucky to have her. Now the food was so delicious. I had the French toast and I wanted more!!! Half of the party had the shrimp and grits. I had a bite and it was heavenly. The bowl was deep and full or creamy grits. My sister, aunt and grandma had waffles and raved about them. RBT I will definitely be back. You have a new customer
Wonderful, as always! I made sure to get my leftovers this time, cause last time I forgot them and wanted to cry- thats how good this pistachio crusted chicken and cornbread is. Our server today was lovely but I can't remember her name, she was really personable and payed close attention to the man of the table (my cousins 10 month old son) haha, I will definitely be back again soon.
Only giving 4 on atmosphere because i didn’t get to see live music, that’s on me because as it was my first time I don’t know what time to go. Regardless, the food is sooooo good! Our waitress was on the dot and my kid loved their pizza! I also happened to meet the owner i believe so that was cool! great place and cool place to come and get a drink, i will be soon!
Ok, best tavern wings ever. Went with the lemon pepper rub…AMAZING! Burgers were great too. We never write reviews but this little place is on our very short list of ‘would visit again’.
It was my first time there with a couple of friends, and I got a say, the place is pretty great! It's got an awesome atmosphere and some cool decor that really cements its vibe as a local standout! With apps, 3 drinks, an entree and dessert I spent about $90 before the tip, so the price is a little steep but all the food was worth it. The shrimp and grits in particular was the standout, but the skillet brownie with praline whiskey baked into it is a close second. With live music to really elevate the mood, it was the total package! Totally check this place out!
We are new to the area and wanted to try some gourmet pizza. We randomly selected this tavern and I'm just going to say it might be the best pizza I have ever had! We ordered pepperoni and sausage pizza. The sausage was so flavorful. The entire pizza had such rich and deep flavors that complimented this pie superbly. We also tried the chips and queso. The queso was very good; definitely not velveeta. Additionally, We tried a large pretzel. It was tasty but a little heavy on the salt. The menu has something on it for everyone from tacos, unique brick oven pizzas (reasonably priced), pastas, and gourmet burgers. The tavern offers pretty much anything you might want to drink from a significant number if wines, beer and mixed drinks. This will definitely be high on my list to frequent in the very near future. I would highly recommend this little tavern!
Small town feel, big time service and atmosphere. Our server Morgan was very attentive and helpful. Love the vibe at the Red Brick!
We read some mixed reviews about the meatloaf, specifically about it being dry. Hopefully this review helps you. It isn't a dry meatloaf. It is a blend of beef, pork, and sausage which gives it a thicker and heartier texture that some may be confusing for dry. It definitely isn't memaw's beef meatloaf with the fat juices running out of it. If you are looking for that type of meatloaf, this isn't it. This is Memaw's meatloaf elevated with a unique blend of spices, topped with a hearty scoop of mashed potatoes, brown gravy, and fried onions. I also highly recommend the Texas cheese fries - bacon, cheese, and fries... I'm sold.
I didn't want to make this review so I could continue to gatekeep this place. I've never had a bad experience here. The menu is amazing, the staff is knowledgeable and attentive and the vibes are very chill. I don't live in Conroe but I make sure to stop in anytime I end up nearby.
Finally made it to the Red Brick Tavern...and loved it! It has a great atmosphere and the service was wonderful. I had the French Onion Soup and some cornbread - yum!!! It is a cozy, little place and it has live entertain some evenings - definitely plan to return for that. I will be going back and I hope to bring more friends.
Great atmosphere and unexpectedly delicious pizza. I've been living in Conroe for quite some time and I have somehow missed this gem of a place. It was a great location to catch up with a friend and enjoy a glass a wine with that 15'' pizza. I originally thought the pizzas were personal, but thankfully we asked before accidentally ordering two large pizza. I will definitely stop by again.
I have been this place year and a half before and today visited the second time. The draft beer, local beers, environment, cleanliness, quality of service, the taste and the quality of food and the freshness just combined with a smiling and happy welcoming crew members👍 it is in a historic neighborhood, with historical background. The menu is great and I just wanna write delicious delicious delicious here back to back like hundreds of times. Great cook, great servers, great people. Anytime I'm passing by, I will be definitely stopping by to eat and have my schwarzbier. Great job everyone, please keep up the good work and the high quality, awesome place!!!
We had a fantastic night at Red Brick Tavern! The place was packed, the energy was great, and the live singer-songwriters added such a fun vibe to the evening. What really stood out was the service—every server worked together to make sure we were well taken care of. As someone who's California sober, I really appreciated that they offer a THC drink on tap (yes, on tap!) along with a solid beer selection. It's not something you see often, and it made the night feel even more inclusive. We ordered the pizza and the pistachio chicken sandwich—both were absolutely delicious. And honestly, the pizza might have been even better the next day because the flavor of the dough really came through. This place checks all the boxes: good food, good service, a cool atmosphere and live music that doesn’t overwhelm conversation if you're sitting toward the back. Highly recommend!
We went here based on the recommendation of friends and they were right. The food was great and the service excellent. Lots of people, friendly atmosphere, and good beers. We didn’t stay for the live music but they get some big names it seems. Performances start at 9:00. Next time we’ll stay. If you haven’t been here you need to go. If you have you need to go back.
This is a fantastic bar with great food. The staff are great and the bartenders really knock out some super cocktails. Highly recommend.
As usual the experience was very good. I had the crawfish fettuccine and thought this would be two whole meals. But it was so delicious it turned into 1.5 meals. Service was good but a little slow, but they were really busy and seemed a little short staffed. Those girls were hustling. Will return.
We went evening of Easter Sunday. Light crowd but well staffed, so service was almost humorously fast. No live music while we were there, but looked like a nice, intimate setup for that. Wonderful atmosphere, and we will be going back. Family friendly, at least then (might not work as well if there was a performer). Was a group there with kids, and they fit in fine. We perched at high table near the bar, which was a cozy, adult space. We split loaded mashed potatoes and the meatloaf and collards, as neither of us were that hungry, and there was enough left over that our server asked if we needed a box (we did not). No collards were left behind, some of the best I have ever had. I had two different regional beers while there, and was pleased with both.
First visit here was just after a tiring med procedure and I came to the right place. Everything my wife & I ordered was really good and the young gentleman who waited on us was helpful and patient. My wife absolutely loved her Caesar salad in it's uniqueness in one aspect and adherance to a traditional ingredient in another. What's more is that we witnessed a true act of generosity by the hostess who inspired us to follow suit. I don't go out often, but will return to this place. There's some menu items I want to try.
This place really blew my mind. Best kept secret that no one should keep. Food was 10 Stars, it was lively, entertaining and quiet and cozy at the same time. You have to try the corn bread and boudin balls! We got 2 pizzas for the main and it was killer! Their pizza is legit! Thank you for the experience Red Brick Tavern!!
Great place, food and service is above average. Atmosphere is nice but it can get crowded. The cast iron cornbread is so amazing!
If you hungry near Conroe TX, this place is a great choice for dinner. Fine dining merged with a traditional pub is a good way to describe this place. Healthy tap selection & wine list, and hard liquor is available. The pistachio crusted chicken was phenomenal and the Blackened salmon was fantastic. Drinks were well made. Wine list could be improved with the addition of more Texan vintages, but is decent. Service was fantastic. We will return - with pleasure.
Love going here , small and clean place .. always enjoy the live music .. makes for a nice date night place and yet you can still bring kids .. All the food we have tried is excellent .. wings , pasta and pizza .. the craft beer selection rotates but a nice variety of darks which I love 💕. Def going back ..
Love this place! Absolutely excellent food! Awesome servers n bartenders! Cozy environment! And kick-ass live entertainment!
Amber greeted us with a smile and personality. The espresso martinis are amazing and the omelet was stupid good! Can't wait to return for live music and good times.
Sometimes you find the most incredible food in the most inconspicuous of places…case in point the Red Brick Tavern in Conroe, TX. After strolling downtown Conroe I was hungry and came across the Red Brick Tavern and sat at the bar. Very interesting décor…pictures of music stars along with well over a hundred hanging beer taps of kegs emptied over the years. The Bar Manager Mark and Tyrone got me set up with a St Willie’s Abby Blonde Ale from Stesti Brewery in Lovelady, TX…great beer and the added malts gives it an incredible body. Mark explained to me the kitchen is a “scratch kitchen” and everything is made fresh daily. I decided on the Bacon Fried Gulf Oysters and the Brick Oven Half Roasted Chicken. The oysters are the absolute best cooked oysters I’ve ever had…light bacon flavor, great crust, and the Horseradish Dijon was a great complement! The chicken was fall off the bone tender and lightly seasoned and the BBQ sauce was a great companion to the chicken. The mashed potatoes are delicious and I added my leftover Horseradish Dijon to the mashed potatoes…this should be offered with the potatoes. This place is a shining example of how great people and a kitchen dedicated to serving creative and delicious food in of all places…a tavern!!!
Mark is amazing and very knowledgeable. Also sat down at table with Kasey amazing service all around. Will definitely be back.
Great flavor and nice atmosphere. Excellent customer service.
I came for the first time and ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries. I really enjoyed it. My friend ordered the meatloaf sandwich and said it was a little disappointing. Too much sausage for him. He did enjoy the French fries. The margaritas were excellent. I recommend this place because it has a great atmosphere to it and I did enjoy my food.
Great place, great staff. The bartender Mark, was super nice, also he was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, which i appreciated. You can tell there is pride in this spot. Food is all made in house, all fresh nothing frozen. It was not what I expected, I am pleasantly surprised. The pizza must be as good as claimed, since several people came in to order it during my visit. I had crab cakes and they did not disappoint. Live music several nights a week, just a great spot which I will come to again. Other customers raved about the breakfast, so this has it all with a nice ambiance.
This place has great vibes, especially seated at the bar. Full drink menu, extensive food menu, live music. It’s a small space, so it could be tough to get a table, especially for large parties. I was with a group of 3, and sitting at the bar was perfect. Large selection of traditional and craft tap beers, as well as all the classic cocktails. We also got nachos and loaded cheese fries, which were both delicious with plenty to share. Being in downtown, you’ll need to park on the street — free parking, limited spots, 2-hr limit before 5pm. It can get dark in this corner of downtown, but there are usually pretty good crowds of diners in the evening.
As a longtime member of the Willis/Conroe community, I can confidently say that Red Brick Tavern is a standout dining establishment. This beloved institution has been a cornerstone in Conroe for quite some time, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals and visitors coming back. Tonight, we had the pleasure of being served by Grace, who was personable and attentive. She ensured we started with water and was well-versed in their selection of craft beers, enhancing our dining experience with her knowledge and friendliness. Her ability to coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen and wait staff was impressive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The chef at Red Brick Tavern is truly phenomenal, crafting dishes that are both delicious and beautifully presented. The bartender also deserves praise for their expertly crafted beverages that perfectly complement the menu. If you haven’t experienced brunch here, you’re truly missing out. Red Brick Tavern continues to be a cherished gem in Conroe, offering exceptional food, service, and a sense of community.
We came with a party of 8 with no reservations(spontaneousdecisionto go to dinner). They got us seated immediately and we had fantastic service. The food was really good, maybe a little more pricey than I'm used to but I don't know that area for restaurants and what they usually go for. The drinks were very good. I could have done a few more IYKYK, but I was driving!☹️ I will return the next time I'm in town.
This place is truly the heart of downtown Conroe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with low-lit red brick walls that create the perfect backdrop for enjoying their impressive selection of craft beers. The service is consistently top-notch, the food is outstanding, and the live music brings everything together for an unforgettable night out.
We had brunch with some fun live music in a rustic and warm atmosphere. The biscuits and sausage gravy with grits was very good but the waffles with chicken was excellent. The chicken was moist inside with a fried crispy outside on top of a very fluffy waffle drizzled with a very nice flavorful syrup. It has a haunted flavor leaving you wanting to come back again.
Wings here a great ! Some sandwiches and pizza are just okay. Food is decent and worth trying out tho. Service is a hit or miss sometimes but they are always friendly, just don't come around as often as you'd like - only sometimes. Atmosphere, LOVE. Love the decor , love how small and cozy it is . Worth it to try it out
HEY everyone I would like to say this place is warm this was my first coming here and the was professional and welcoming as some know how I work I always check the bathrooms and it was clean and it's smells nice also the food was 10 out of 10 so good i had the pool pork sandwich and my husband had the. Barbecue meatloaf that it was not dry at all. They also welcome new song writers so they can perform life in the restaurant. Don't believe check out my photos
My Night at Red Brick Tavern (Conroe) Amazing Atmosphere & Patio (A+) Red Brick Tavern easily earns top marks for its vibrant, Texas‑bar ambiance. The exposed brick and rustic wood in the interior echo that authentic tavern charm, but the sprawling, covered patio is undoubtedly its standout feature. Fans and string lights kept things cool and inviting, even on a hot summer evening. The venue—buzzing with locals, visitors, couples, and families earlier in the evening—felt lively and welcoming throughout. Live music added flair without overpowering conversation, especially if you're seated toward the back. Its energy really captures the essence of Conroe nightlife. Friendly, Efficient Service (A+) Service staff were attentive and handled a busy evening like pros—drinks arrived quickly, and refills came without prompting. Many online visitors praise the service team and cozy feel, noting the bar staff work in sync and maintain pace even during packed nights . Others especially appreciate the gluten‑free offerings and personalized support for dietary needs—something not often highlighted at lively taverns . Food: Solid Comfort Fare with Standouts (A-) Burgers and fried pickles as average, Red Brick Tavern serves more than “standard pub grub”. Cheese pizza with a tasty kick, pulled‑pork nachos, wings, and pasta dishes as flavorful and worth ordering . Rotating craft beers pair well with menu items like Bob Marley pizza and pulled‑pork enchiladas, which some users found surprisingly good . In short: while burgers can be hit-or-miss, other options (pizza, sandwiches, wings, enchiladas) earn frequent praise. What Could Improve (Minor Issues) Parking downtown Conroe can be challenging on weekend evenings. Dedicated spots fill quickly—plan ahead or consider nearby public lots. And yes, it gets loud once the band hits full volume. That intensity is part of the charm, but not ideal for low‑key conversation. Verdict Red Brick Tavern in Conroe really shines as an immersive downtown hangout—a quintessential Texas tavern experience boasting great atmosphere, live music, cold drinks, and an expansive covered patio perfect for groups or solo vibes. Service is solid and friendly. Food, though not gourmet, includes several well-crafted dishes that regularly delight online reviewers—especially pizzas, wings, nachos, and pulled-pork tunes. Drinks—notably craft beers and cocktails—get consistent kudos. Bottom Line: A top-tier spot in Conroe for cold drinks, live music, and fun on the patio—with several standout food options that go beyond basic bar fare.
Courteous, friendly and smiling servers when asked will politely give suggestions on their preferred choice to order off the menu. Go and enjoy the live and local musicians performing during the evening, holidays and weekends. Hubby tried the DECA Ronan Irish Red beer along with the RBT Wings (7pcs) served Naked with two dipping sauces Sweet Chili and Ranch. Hubby's preference was the Sweet Chili sauce. I tried the CO Cherry Red cider with a glass of ice water and the J. Ross' Veggie pizza Traditional Crust dough imported from Italy (8 slices).
I have nothing but, high marks for Red Brick Tavern except for a small issue at the very end of the night in the service. First off our server was friendly, helpful and very courteous. We ordered two pizzas a pepperoni pizza n the Hawaiian pizza which are prepared in a brick flamed oven which makes them extra special. Both were flavorful with a soft crust which I believe you could eat alone with butter added. We also ordered some chicken wings that didn't need any ranch cause they were delicious on their own. The restaurant has Great decor, it has a huge bar and a stage with live music while you dine. Believe me I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Conroe Texas vicinity. But, once we got our receipt back from our waitress she had mistakenly charged a different tables amount due to our credit card even though ours was completely less & we gave part cash which wasn't even shown on the receipt. Now, we have to wait till hopefully Monday for nearly $90 to be put back into the bank account. I know mistakes happen but, this mixup shouldn't happen in a restaurant!
Small, nostalgic and excellent! The hubs says they have the BEST collard greens ever. The French onion soup was good and the meatloaf was delish along with the French fries. It’s a scratch kitchen and you can certainly tell. Also loved the green chili cornbread! The pizza looks delicious and we are going back to try it soon. Full bar, craft beers, live music (gospel brunch on Sunday) and a really cool atmosphere; this is place my #1 go to!
Avoid the burger at all costs. But overall a Great and consistent local spot. We go there at least once a month - beer and wine list is good, cocktails are yummy.

Great atmosphere. Food is really good. live music. Lots of craft beer. It's small but really cool place
Great Tavern in downtown Conroe and usually has live music on weekends, which is a nice touch. Get the chicken wings! Pizza is not bad either.
Great food -Great service! Went here color Thanksgiving Food was cooked well, plenty to eat for the price. Staff was professional.\n Chef Edward Rodi
Food is plentiful & good. Wish they took reservations on the weekend as it gets really busy. Bring your appetite as portions are huge. Consistently good food & service.

This place was great! I have a severe allergy to gluten and Pepe the cook and our server took time to make sure I would be safe. I did not have Pizza but was impressed by the service. We did not go during a busy time. My husband enjoyed the pizza. The atmosphere is great definitely will go back again.
I love the atmosphere and vibes of this place. My waitress was super friendly. I got the Honky Tonk burger, which is basically a BBQ bacon cheeseburger. It was okay, but there was just a few dabs of BBQ sauce on one side of the burger, so that was a disappointment. The guy next to me was bragging about their meatloaf, so I’d for sure go back to try that.
Went there for date night and had a good time. It was on a Monday and pretty quite, but not dull. Our server was wonderful. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and my wife had the shrimp and grits. We also ordered a pretzels as an appetizer and drank sweet tea. The food was really good, but not spectacular. The pizza tasted nice and fresh...I thought it was going to be a personal size pizza, but to my delight it was a full sized portion. My wife said the shrimp and grits were good, but seemed like it was missing something. The sweet tea was pretty good, too. We both said we'd come again. Nice place, nice atmosphere, and good food.
Red Brick Tavern. Is very old school tavern. I love the 1950s style rock and roll, and blues feel. The location is amazing in old downtown Conroe. The parking is easy and always available. I haven't even mentioned the food. Which is excellent. We had The Memphis pizza. All homemade dough and sauce. All fired in an old Red Brick pizza Oven. Hence the name. If you find your way by Conroe on 45 and you fancy an old pizza and a retro atmosphere do yourself a favor and stop in. (They have the best sweet tea on IH45 Bet)
Went on near Christmas while other spots nearby were closed. Place was packed and the server on shift did well enough to keep up but it service was a touch slower then I'm sure usually would be. You could te the server was experienced though and cared, major props for handling the volume with a smile and the attention she did. Great atmosphere with the red brick walls, and small stage for live entertainment. Combined with a variety of crowd pleasing good options, this is a great spot. Just wished we lived local to visit more often. We had pizzas, rueben, and burgers which were great. French fries absolutely top notch. Got a glimpse of the entrees from other patrons and they were plated very appealing and were if decent size portions. If you are curious about going, I'd recommend it for sure.
Fun tavern atmosphere. We were there for lunch, but it looks like there is live music in the evenings, which would be fun. Our waitress was kind and helpful. We had the pulled pork sandwich, which was delicious. My sweet potato French fries were yummy, but a bit skimpy. We also had the pulled pork enchiladas. The pork was great, but the hatch chili sauce was a miss for us. It was a bit pricey for lunch at over $50 for the two of us- and we had water and an iced tea.
This place has amazing food. Sometimes management is a little dismissive and arrogant, but, they are probably the best restaurant in central Conroe.\nI haven't found a restaurant more consistently …

A pleasant-enough bar and grill. While the service was stellar, the food was “meh.” Their chicken quesadilla was, indeed, juicy chicken, but did not have very much cheese on it. And it came without sour cream or guacamole, which in my book is a mistake! The quesadilla had plenty of chicken, but, while certainly juicy, didn’t have any “fire” or spice to it. The chips and queso were okay, although the chips had a variation of consistency that made it appear to be old and new chips. We may come back again and try some of their other food, but this first trip doesn’t give us a lot of hope for the future.

Food was bland, barley any meat on the nachos and omelet for the price. The pork tacos were nothing special. Fries were soggy and soft, and took forever to get our check so we could leave even tho we were right next to the registers. I think they had our waitress helping In the kitchen and other waitresses just ignore us. Kinda wild to make someone wait to pay
Both my daughter and mine bun, was brunt...she got hers replaced, mine didn't see till later. All you can taste was burnt bread...not good. Asked for med. Cooked, we got well done....Cook lacking.... Told them I had food allergies to onions, but it came out with it anyway... Waitress was really nice...that is the only reason you got a 2 Star.
Stopped by for highly recommended bloody mary..highly disappointed. Pre-made mix (ugh) dressings were sub-par, I had to ask for the gourmet version- they simply grilled bacon/shrimp (not cooked to temperature) & bought to table to place on top of drink. Celery stick missing..they bought out sliced celery. Asked for vodka tonic..got gin& tonic. The waitstaff was friendly but bartender not so when asked to correct drink. First time visit..no need to return but appreciate the recommendation from a loyal customer of the red brick
I've been a fan of RBT for about 6 years, but this visit changed that view. We arrive around 6 for a leisurely dinner with friends before the show at the Crighton. Our first disappointment was that they changed the menu to remove a couple of their signature dishes...the steak and the pork chops. I had the meatloaf, which was very good, but my wife had the chicken sandwich, which was almost inedible...tough as shoe leather. We were finishing up the main course when the server started removing our dishes...before O had a chance to finish up on the tasty collard greens. Then, the server brought the check without asking or offering dessert. When we questioned about the availability of dessert, the server had the audacity to say that we could have dessert, but there was quite a line of customers and they needed our table! She basically asked us to leave, abruptly ending our leisurely dinner unsatisfied. Definitely not the impression you want to make to anyone you want to come back to your restaurant. We are loyal local Conroe folks, but will definitely think twice!
We were on vacation and came across this place for dinner. We go in get seated sweet lady comes and takes our drink order and then someone comes and says " Did your waitress tell you about the show…
The food was OK, but if you aren't white be careful of the regular patrons. My husband (black) only one in the place got up to use the restroom. Our table was right behind the bar at a high top. Th…
I came to this establishment Monday evening (around 6–7 PM), unsure of what to expect. The online ratings gave me some hope, and to be fair, the food didn’t disappoint—I had the Tejano burger, a tasty Caesar salad with capers and croutons, and cheesy queso with pork. The real issue was the service. From the start, the waiter gave off a dismissive vibe. When a man at our table had a question, the server either didn’t notice or ignored him. I tried to get the waiter’s attention, and he responded plainly : “I’m not taking any questions right now.” We moved on, and he never checked up on any questions after that. During drink orders, things got worse. He turned away twice from a woman in our group who hadn’t finished ordering. She likes her drinks a specific way—ice in one glass, lemons on the side, and unsweetened tea. His behavior felt dismissive and upsetting. I kept trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it became harder each time. When it came time for appetizers, we gave our order quickly. I hadn’t realized that most of my group had already ordered their entrees as well, since we were seated at separate tables. So when I told the server I wasn’t ready to order mine yet, he looked at me in disbelief and said, “Oh okay… um,” before walking away. It felt like I couldn’t even take a moment to decide without being met with attitude. At that point, I was hesitant to ask him for anything else. Eventually, the appetizers and entrees arrived, and plates began stacking up on the already small table. I politely asked if he could take the extras we had set aside. To my surprise, he snapped, “I was already doing that.” That was the final straw for me. The music was nice, and the atmosphere was okay. It wasn’t the food, the small space, or even the awkward stares we got when we walked in that bothered me—it was that my initial bad feeling turned out to be right. Our server was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in professionalism. I watched him treat other tables with noticeably more patience and kindness than we received. I’ve never felt so disrespected in a restaurant that I felt compelled to leave a review—but here we are. I will not be returning. Never again.
hadn't been in years, thought I would give it a try again, went with some friends that had never been before. Shockingly, the menu hasn't changed in YEARS.... don't know how you go on with the same old tired menu. The food was okay, but the cooks now don't do it as well as it was done in the past - and it is pretty easy to compare as the menu items are the same. Service and atmosphere were okay, but it all felt tired, like you're going to a place that hasn't changed in years.... which is what it is. The place could do with closing down for about two weeks, completely clean and remodel the inside, and breathe some new life into it. After eating, no one in our party was really sold on staying as it just wasn't very upbeat, so we went over to Pacific Yard House, and we had a really good time, as the place was hopping, the atmosphere more bright upbeat and welcoming, and the servers and bartenders were more lively
We received courteous and prompt service when we arrived. Food was ready quickly. Oysters were supposed to be topped with bacon? There was no bacon and also the oysters were terribly greasy. The wings we asked to be extra crispy we found several to be undercooked. The French onion soup was flavorless. We did ask our undercooked chicken wings to not be charged to our bill and management refused which was disappointing but we paid knowing they'll never get our business again nor any of our families.
I’ve eaten here about ten times. I just walked in and the restaurant was pretty much crowded. Many people had various entrees from the full menu. The hostess told me they were only cooking pizza. That’s weird because the kitchen closes the full menu at 10 pm and it’s 8:20 pm. I asked in disappointment, “Your only cooking pizza. Yet, everyone here is eating from the full menu.” The waiter stated with a rude tone, “Like I said, we are only serving pizza…” He handed me the menu, I looked around the restaurant and noticed that I was the only black person there…I never sat at the back of the bus, and I’ll take my business elsewhere.
