We hosted an event in the Lupo Lounge upstairs at San Daniele and could not be happier with how it went! The space is great for a small party. The food was delicious, of course, and they had a small bar up there for happy hour. Gia helped us plan and budget prior to the event. We would highly recommend hosting your next gathering here!

They offer tasty foods, we try bruchetta, pastas and pizzas, the bruchetta & fig pizza is amazing good. The weather now is perfect eat outdoor, we have wonderful lunch today. Come back again and add some more delicious photos. They are very helpful we order one crepe for kid and they help us to split in 2 dishes with beautiful presentation.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is everything I was looking for, needed, and beyond. The pizza and drinks re-energized my pallet. Best place in 20 years I have visited in Dallas. Travis knows exactly what he’s doing with drinks, and the kitchen with the pizza, it’s pure artistry. This is for sure a bucket-list place. Next time I’m there I hope to order a Last Word. I walked out speechless at my experience.

We are so glad that we an Italian restaurant in Coppell. Been here a few times now and it has always been a relaxing experience. Food is good and so is the staff. Enough parking and you can do groceries at Sprouts next door.

Italian restaurant with plentiful pizza options. Went in a fair sized group and we shared appetizers and pizza. Everything was delicious and cooked well. Servers and hostesses were very pleasant and courteous. Definitely recommend this place!

San Daniel is a hidden gem in Coppell, and let me tell you—this place knows how to do pizza right! We’ve tried the Texas and the Meatball pizzas, and both were chef’s kiss perfection. Wood-fired crust with that perfect crisp, high-quality toppings, and just the right balance of flavors. And the best part? It’s reasonably priced for the quality you’re getting. Bonus- they have a patio If you’re in the area and craving amazing Italian food (but especially pizza!), this is the spot. Consider this my official lender recommendation—because just like a great home, a great pizza is all about the foundation… and San Daniel’s crust is next level.

I recently dined at this Italian restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. While the food was decent, the real standout was the exceptional service and hospitality. My server, Remi, truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about her work, which made the meal all the more enjoyable. Her genuine care and enthusiasm left a lasting impression. I’d return for the warm service.

This is a hidden gem in Coppell! The lasagna is massive and incredible! The meat ball appetizer is great to split among the table. The pesto pasta is so large and so good I think about it often. The service is fantastic and quick and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Restrooms are well kept and parking is ample and simple. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

We had a great experience dining here. The food was delicious. The service initially was delayed but once our attendant Diego C came up he was exceptional in hosting us and 5 stars for him. The prices were reasonably and every dish was finely made. We ordered the following items and all of them fulfilled our expectations but price and portion wise. We will definitely revisit. WOW. It is amazing how GOOD this place is! We drove from out of town to check it out and we were very impressed. The atmosphere and bar are beautiful, there is an open pizza oven where you can watch your food get prepared, and the entrees and appetizers are all packed with flavor! This was the first time a brusselsprout made me say “wow”. The whipped goat cheese was phenomenal! The pizza has the best flavor and crust! Our server, Katie, was incredibly informative, sweet, and gave us the best service!!! We will definitely request her again when we come back!

Wanted pasta so we ended up at San Daniele. Food was ok. I ordered the chicken parm but was not crazy with how heavily dressed the pasta was. The sauce was a little over bearing. The pizza was incredible and the bruschetta was also delicious. Service was fantastic and atmosphere was nice. Prices were reasonable.

7/10, the staff was great (shoutout to Dylan), and the food was mostly good, but the stuffed shells dish was supposed to be spicy/sweet, but it was just abrasively sweet. Our waiter offered to bring us something else out, but after the meatball starters, we were pretty satisfied already, so we opted to just take the food to go. I got a double espresso before leaving. The coffee was strong and bold overall. I would recommend it, but the chef may have a heavy hand for sweetness on the entrees, so I would make sure to confirm before ordering.

I ate dinner at San Daniele’s last night. It was my first time eating at this Italian restaurant, but I have seen it from the street and was always curious to try it. My server’s name was Stephen and he was great. I started off with the meatball appetizer and the calamari. The meatballs were delicious. Stuffed inside was just the right amount of cheese. It was also served with buratta and focaccia bread. The calamari came with a good dipping size portion of marinara sauce, and a side of I believe ranch. I squeezed fresh lemon onto the calamari, dipped it into the marinara sauce, and it was delicious. For entrée, I ordered the beef brisket Arrabiata pasta. But before that, I had their house salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Lots of greens came with the salad and the balsamic vinaigrette was very tasty. As for the beef brisket Arrabiata pasta, it was quite the dish. The pasta was stuffed with beef brisket and cheese. The pasta was covered in marinara sauce and hot honey which gave it that slight sweet flavor. The dish came with five pieces which were decently sized. The restaurant does have a full bar that you can sit at and also they have a full size pizza oven, which is nice to look at. Outdoor seating is available. Overall, I would say that I enjoyed my experience at San Daniel’s but I did have real concern. It was hard not to notice that some of the waiters and staff were yelling random things quite loudly while customers were trying to enjoy their dinner. And when I mean they were yelling, they were indeed yelling very loud. It actually was quite disturbing being a customer dining there trying to enjoy their food. I can only imagine family’s with children there, to witness such obnoxious behavior. If I was the owner of the restaurant, I would deal with this nuisance immediately.

Had dinner with a couple of friends to celebrate a birthday, on 1/20/2026. Sat at a high table. Friends ordered some drinks that were terrible. All of them. We ordered appetizers, which were okay. The fried mozzarella was definitely frozen, as it came out piping hot and tasted like a microwave cooked it. I ordered pasta dish with lemon butter and shrimp, which initially had a sour taste, but I still ate it. When I got home last night I had terrible stomach pains. This morning I woke up with nausea, and even more stomach pains. I truly believe I got food poisoning as I’m on the way to a doctor right now. Overall, after I paid over $300 for a subpar dinner, I wouldn’t come back. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the staff felt forced to be accommodating. The food was okay, at best. At one point one of my friends said the meatballs tasted like chef boyardee. While I understand this isn’t a Town Hearth, or Al Biernats, the experience was unsettling. From my personal experience, I would not come back, nor recommend anyone to this restaurant, especially after getting sick from this place.
