Perfect portions with attentive service. You can tell much thought was put into the menu selections. Also, one of the best cappuccinos I have had in Florida!

Got a recommendation from a friend/former co-worker just today & decided to check it out for lunch. My party of 3 sat in the best seat of the house (booth by the window). We so enjoyed the pumpkin soup (just like homemade), tuna tartare on a crispy shell & one of their several lunch specials - chicken milanesa with a side salad. On the house, they gave some assorted nuts to start, fresh yucca bites and an avocado mash puree that was out of this world. We were expecting a basic run-of-the mill lunch, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was made fresh & just utterly delicious. I am so happy we found this place. We would not have known about it if it weren't for our friend, Maribel. Word of Mouth can really go a long way!!! Tomorrow, we are ordering in lunch for the office (we work a few blocks away) and they all can't wait to try it. I wish this new establishment the very best! The staff works really hard & are very attentive to their customers. Supremely impressed!!!

Having breakfast at RC Cafe was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was really delicious, very kind and welcoming staff, and the ambiance was perfect for a cozy family morning. It wasn't easy to find a restaurant that would accept a reservation for 22 people, thank you for waiting for us with the tables set. Highly recommended to anyone!

Was the 1st experience at the RC Cafe and really surprised about the TOP quality in the service, delicious food from appetizers to main courses, next time I will try the desert no doubt… the ambiance is nice, quiet and nicely decorated… i definitely recommend this place for good food and enjoying a good moment.

Now about the food: Bacon was good and the eggs were cooked over-medium, as ordered. 👍 However, I ordered the RC Special, which is supposed come with a biscuit covered with gravy. I got a side of cold gravy and no biscuit. ☹️ After some metaphorical teeth pulling (due to a language barrier), the brought out a plate with more cold gravy and two biscuits that appeared suspiciously to be like the ones out of the can from the dairy section of the supermarket. 🤷‍♂️ Granted, they weren’t bad, but the breakfast did not live up to my expectations of a new cafe in the Gables. Between the competition and rapacious overhead you are paying, you are already at risk, like the three previous places at that location. For the sake of your success, I am imploring you to hire management, kitchen staff and social media marketing people that will set you up for the long haul. Here’s a recipe for biscuits and gravy. I highly recommend you use it, so long as you have the item on your menu: **✨Homemade Biscuits & Sausage Gravy – Southern Comfort on a Plate!✨** Fluffy, buttery **biscuits** smothered in rich, savory **sausage gravy** with caramelized onions—this is the ultimate comfort food! Perfect for a cozy weekend breakfast or brunch. **Biscuit Recipe:** Mix **2 cups self-rising flour**, **1/2 cup cold butter**, and **3/4 cup buttermilk** until just combined. Roll, cut, and bake at **425°F for 12-15 min** until golden brown. **Sausage Gravy with Onions:** Brown **1 lb sausage** with **1/2 cup diced onions**. Today was my first time walking into RC Café and I was unfortunately turned away by the staff. When I arrived, there was a party of about 20 people there to celebrate an occasion, but there were plenty of other available tables. When I asked the staff if I could seat myself to a table, they said that they were busy with the large party and unable to serve me. For a Friday morning, I would think a restaurant would know better to have more staff available, especially if they are open for breakfast. This is completely unprofessional and left a bad impression of the establishment. As a Coral Gables resident, I will share my experience with my friends in the area and suggest not go here. Thankfully, I went to Cafe Demetrio next door and enjoyed a delicious meal. ** Edited for owner's reply** I'm sorry, but if you are a restaurant that will only serve 20 people at a time, then why would you have more tables and chairs not in use? Spacing was not an issue, but a lack of enough staff to accommodate other patrons. If the restaurant was closed for a party, why was there no sign on the outside? I wanted to try your food because of the positive reviews, but this experience left a disappointing impression and I will not go back.
