They even have a skinny menu that tastes delicious. Everything is fresh. Arisleny was out amazing server. She is super sweet, and she knowss the Menu well. Offered to take our pictures and video so we have memories of our dining experience. We last attended during their 50th Anniversary. Menu prices matched back from when they first opened in 1975. The event was celebrated by Patriants alike and city officials. We were inspired to toast with Champagne! On Fridays their soup special is Lentils and they have Crema de Malanga in a daily. This place is rated 5 stars, but I GIVE THEM A 10 OUT 10!!!

we came on the 50th anniversary of Sergio‘s, a lot of people are winning in line and it was very unorganized until I have to admit that maria Maria Hernandez came in and they asked her to sub for the hostess with another girl and she immediately checked all the tables mobilized. Sergio's is a delicious Cuban restaurant located in Coral Gables. The particular location has an amazing patio and outdoor seating area that circles around the left corner. The service was decent and they brought us some delicious Cuban warm bread to enjoy before our drinks and food arrived. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich which was highly recommended and a local favorite. The bread was so soft and buttery and the cheese was melted to perfection. I watered this down with refreshing pineapple and watermelon mimosas. I highly recommend Sergio's because the prices are reasonable and you will most certainly leave satisfied.

My wife and I had Sunday brunch. The food was spot on!!! Delicious..I had a pork chop and the wife had a steak. Both were cooked perfect! Chop was moist and flavorful. I tasted the wife's steak and that was delicious. I travel and am very picky about food!! Trust me when I tell you this is well worth the time and money.

My friend and I (visiting from NY) had our first meal in Miami here! We walked from our AirBnb and stumbled upon this gem in the night with great hunger and excitement. Spacious outdoor seating with lots of open space and huge fans. Lots of people eating and mingling. Lively and full of vibes. The server was attentive and friendly! He didn’t speak much English but understood what me and my friend were trying to communicate and went well beyond trying to make our experience wonderful. Food was great, wish the chicken wasn’t so dry. Beyond that, it was a lovely experience and they open late so it’s a perfect place to go for dinner if you’re in the area.

Authentic food and service was AMAZING. This was my first time here and I was really hoping to get some authentic Cuban flavors and I was NOT disappointed. Firstly our server Arisleny went above and beyond, super attentive with her sweet and kind demeanor that made us feel at home . The cuban sandwiches, breakfast, pastries, buttered bread, croquetas and strong coffee. We got the croquets preparada with a fried egg on the side and it was everything I wanted and more. A great Cuban experience with great flavors and even better prices. The coffee is absolutely delicious, 5 stars! The food also great, we’ve tried the sandwiches a couple of times and never disappointed. This time we tried the chicken soup and the Cuban Cobb Salad, perfect for a low carb diet, abundant in color and flavors. And of course the croquetas and mariquitas are a must to start any meal experience. Both patio and indoors are very confortable and offer plenty of space, not too loud, beautiful decor and the coffee aroma is unbelievable. My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Sergio’s Restaurant on Coral Way, Miami, which is her usual first stop whenever she’s in town from Jacksonville. The food was delicious and fresh as always. We started with a nice Sangria, a basket of plantain chips with “mojito” sauce which were so fresh and crispy! The Lechon Asado (love, love the crispy chicharrón on top) was spectacular. The moros, tostones and plantains were equally delicious. And was is not to like about the great ambience, beautiful music and best of all, the fabulous and courteous service received from our waiter, Eduardo Gey, who went out of his way to make our lunch experience fabulous! We have been patrons of Sergio’s Restaurant for many years. Today we were served by Marta a waitress who has served us before. She is terrific, responsive, courteous and exact in taking out orders including our small Cavalier pup. Jose Luis was the manager on duty and we let him know how professional Mary’s service is.

I just want to give an incredible shout out Yudit for always treating my family well when we come here, especially with being attentive to what we need. Last night (11/4), a lady came in treating her horribly, having complaints over every little thing, yet she handled it like a champ and continued to do her duties. A special shout out to the bussers as well, they handled her professionally and made sure everyone in our section. Even the manager, Jose Luis, tried to resolve the situation and nothing could’ve happened. As someone who works in hospitality serving to the public, I am appalled that someone like that could come to the establishment and treat these workers horribly. Special shout out :)

After my meal, I enjoyed a great Cuban coffee. I recommend outside seating, weather permitting of course. Hopefully the sun rays don’t toast you up and you can enjoy a breeze at the least. If you enjoy Cuban food, Sergio’s offers that and more.

We decided to close the year with a Cuban branch. The food was nice, we got some croquetas, cuban tostadas, omelletes with salmon and cream cheese, and decided to close with some dessert (coconut flan and buñuelos). Great decision for NY lunch! The service was also nice and friendly and the atmosphere was great, particularly the patio with a good weather.

Food was pretty good. Typical Cuban cuisine. Service was excellent and fast. Friendly family atmosphere. Plenty of parking and the prices are OK. We paid $23 for 2 breakfasts with toast and coffee. We went back for dinner, the food was delicious. The garlic bread is outstanding. They have a really nice outdoor eating area.

The food here is ok but the portions have reduced in size. And now when you pick-up they won't give you bread. They say the bread is only for table service. As the prices are the same for dine in and take out, I don't see the logic. Very disappointed!

Ordered the Cuban sandwich, wasn't that impressed with it as it seemed more like a deli sandwich with the sliced processed meat and not something I would consider authentic also lacked pickles, Swiss cheese and mustard. The service was attentive although lacked decent bed side manor, so must have been dinged as a tourist so they didn't want to give me a good experience.

Ordered Spanish omelette with cheese why they slapped 4 American cheese slices on it is beyond me. Couldn’t they sprinkle shredded cheese on it to make it more appetizing. Honestly not very culinary on their part service was great

Have been many times over the tears and the food, service and ambiance consistently good. Menu doesn't change much and if you like Cuban cuisine is worth the visit.

Food is great,prices are great, environment is great but the service on a tuesday night especially when it was almost empty was unacceptable. Had to ask for water refills on two occasions. Had to ask for condiments and for sugar for their delicious coffee. Might as well get up myself and serve my own meal.

I’m really surprised the way Sergio’s quality has changed. The food last night was really salty, scarce, and it took over an hour for them to bring the food. It was as only four entries, and they didn’t have half of the stuff on the menu. Besides that, they are charging sales taxes on the tip, which is wrong. There is no sales tax on tips in Florida. And 3% extra charges if you pay with credit card. Be careful and watch your bill before you pay. We are definitely not going back. There are many Cuban restaurants in Miami that cook better and give you better service and more food for your money.

I was with my family, very nice place but terrible service. The waitresses were dirty and disheveled, the food arrived cold, the plates full of fat, the cuts of meat did not have the term we had indicated, I called the manager and a gentleman without hair, short, poorly educated, did not even show up, he told us that it is something they are trying to solve and left. He didn't apologize or anything like that. We didn't want the money back or anything like that, we just wanted us to be valued as a customer! My family and I are sure of something and it is not to return for no less to that Sergio's of coral Gables

I can’t believe how little food was in my takeout order. They should be ashamed. There wasn’t even two tablespoons of ground turkey and it was $15.99. This place has definitely gone the wrong way. No way I would order again. It’s a robbery. The container is almost empty.

I was able to make reservations for Sergio’s on Coral Way today and when I get there they tell me reservations are not allowed today. That I should have received notice, which I never did. The lady in the front even told me the kitchen was at a stand still (hard to believe). If the restaurant knows it’s going to be extremely busy on this day they should have been better prepared. As well as block out the date for reservations. Not friendly or customer oriented at all, so disappointed.

this is a nice place in a nice area with a nice cuban menu, if only the service was also nice. I live near by and I'm Cuban so when I'm craving cuban food that has not been made by me I tend to go to Sergio's, but can't remember a time when the service was not bad, if you order beer they bring you one is not cold, if you order juice they take forever, they bring food for one person in your party and the rest has to wait a lot, they take forever to bring your food, your beverage, I mean it's the worst.

Wow this place has changed totally the food was very greasy and was not appealing at all.. I ordered avocado toast for the price I’ve could make it better at home. Yikes will not be going back!!

I ate the worst breakfast at Sergios on coral way today☹️ I ordered the La Flaca Fit Breakfast and there was nothing fit or healthy about it. The entire plate was super greasy. I had to pat dry the chicken and clean the grease off the plate. The waitress forgot the whole wheat toast and finalky brought it soggy. I have gone to Sergios on Kendall drive and the one on 137th avenue and ordered the same plate and it was delicious. I will definitely never eat at the Sergios on coral way ever again.

Should have left sooner. My dad and I ordered our food and shortly after, my dad is served his chicken soup first. I wait twelve minutes for my salad while my dad eats, which quickly turned cold soon after receiving it. My salad comes as my dad finishes his dish- the warm salmon quickly turns cold and I’m becoming a little queasy as I eat. Both dishes were subpar and it was definitely not worth it food and service-wise. We do not recommend.

He did not leave a tip! said the cashier to the one making us a cafe con leche at the ventanita, loud enough we and the many around us heard. We first thought she was joking. We had intended on leaving cash instead. But when we saw the other one's face of dislike we went from disbelief to anger. We told the manager. He listened and yet expressed no reaction. We left, quickly. Tipping is tipping the wrong way. No tip and no return, ever. Believe it.

My wife and I went there tonight for dinner and we had to wait over 10 minutes to be waited on and then they serve us room temperature water with no ice and then the waiter never came around to see if we needed water. I’m there choking on my food and nobody provides water until we ask for it and then when I get the bill, apparently they charge you 3% for using a credit card. That is ridiculous. I’ve never seen that at a restaurant so unfortunately this is gonna be our last time going to that place or any other Sergio’s restaurant very disappointed with the whole thing I don’t recommend this place or any of them.

We were a group of 7 (2 kids - ages 3 and 1) from Canada, visiting this place for the first time and had a horrible exprience. 1. There was a worm in the broccoli (ordered as a side) for the half chicken dish by my wife and not only did the waiter joke about it, but wouldn't offer to take it off our bill until we pressed. 2. The waiter didn't inform us of a 20% service fee which was for 5 people (and 2 kids) and on top of that didn't give us the choice to add a tip of our choice, but just brought it to a screen to put in an amount, which didn't allow us to esmitate what we were giving. He did the same thing with each one on our table. Had we known the service charge was put on there, we would've never added the extra tip. Each person on our table ended up paying 10-12$ more than what our meal costed, which is ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend the place as the food wasn't great either, except for a couple of dishes which were fine.

Quality of this place has gone down immensely. This used to be a Miami staple. Moro is dry, plantains tastes like they’re from a box, ropa vieja was mid as well. They remodeled it to make the place look nice but lost all of the quality when it comes to the food. Such a shame. The experience was made up by our server who was compassionate and understanding.
