We were very happy with the food. Waitress could have done a better job at follow up after delivering order. Also had to wait for our check.
Had a great time. Food was superb and the desert, oh wow that's the best butter cake with ice cream we had . Daniel was an excellent server. Thank you Daniel for making my friends birthday celebration a perfect time.
Celebrated my birthday with my family and had a wonderful dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their meals and my Macademia Nut crusted Chilean Seabass was outstanding. The fish was excellent, firm texture, mild taste and the lemon nut mixture was perfect. Some of the best fish I've had. The birthday dessert was a Bread Pudding with ice cream, also very tasty. And to top the evening off, our server, Adrian was wonderful, very attentive, checking on us frequently and refilling our beverages. It was a superb birthday dinner!
I have to start this review with stating the drinks and food were amazing but the service was impeccable. Rebekahs service and hospitality was greatly appreciated. I cannot say how exceptional she is and the acts/consideration will always make me want to come back with my wife and kids. The dining I have experience with kids in the past felt like we are an inconvenience but Rebekah made it felt welcoming and the coordination of placing the food made it felt easy as a parent.
Hailey was our server (spelling?) Shes a great server, We loved her bubbly personality. The food is always so good and always consistent. The cooks are amazing at what they do! This is our favorite place to go. Some of our favorites are the fish tacos and the roasted herb chicken breast. the Butter cake is delicious!
Just had lunch at Kings Fish House in Corona. Vanessa the waitress was very knowledgeable about my new diagnosis. She knew what I could and not could not eat. Dustin the manager went above and beyond for me! They both were amazing! Thank you both for the best meal in a month! So very grateful!
We had our Thanksgiving here. Our server, Daniel, was sociable and outgoing. Great personality. When he found out I was deaf, he pulled out his rusty ASL skills to try out onn me. 😂 Food was to die for. Excellent halibut and beautiful sea bass. We started with the steamed clams and the sauce was so good. Finished up with cremè brulee. Heaven! A bit expensive, but well worth it. All the staff there were very social and made us feel ery welcome. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving memorable!
Visited on Saturday for the first time. We had an amazing experience. Dave took his time explaining the menu to us. Danny, our waiter, was excellent, and every member of the staff we dealt with was kind and friendly. We had Miso Yaki Wild Chilean Sea Bass (delicious), N'awlin's BBQ Shrimp (delicious), clam chowder and a wedge salad. (Did I say delicious?) Everything was wonderful! Definitely returning.
Late lunch on a Friday. It was not busy. Service was great. The food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. I had the fried fish, shrimp, and scallops combo with fries. The fries were seasoned nicely but as usual they cooled quickly. Though it was not busy, a small group of 4 people were a bit noisy and it seemed to echo in the dinning area. They were seated in the bar.
Great food, service and ambiance. I had an one fish sandwich, it was delicious. My sister ordered calamari and clam chowder, she loved it and my brother ordered fish n chips. This restaurant has inside and outside seating. The shopping center by restaurant is super cute at night with all the lights and the little running water and bridge.
This was a positive experience start to finish. Server Michael was courteous and very knowledgeable. We ordered a singular oyster just to try it, a steak and a Dungeness crab. The crab was very delayed coming out but not due to neglect. The polar opposite. The first we ordered didn’t meet the standards of kitchen staff. Having updates on the process instead of being fed subpar food or being left waiting without word was excellent. Everything was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned perfectly. Amazing oyster. Amazing steak. Amazing crab. Delicious bread pudding. I wholly intended to take good pictures but was all so good this is all I managed to get. NOTE: There was an entire crab. That was what was left when I realized I needed a picture for my review. A family came to sit next to us outside on their patio with a dog and they even brought a cold bowl of water for the dog. At the end we got warm towels. Server Michael was amazing and gets 10/10. Food gets a 9/10. 9/10 overall for the experience.
The food was delicious. The atmosphere was just lovely out on the patio. We ordered a platter with a combination of scallops, oysters, clams, crab, and mussels. One of the oysters was missing from the platter but when we mentioned it to the waitress it was corrected and the service was great.
Been there twice now and both times were great experiences. First time was a little busy and second wasn’t so bad but honestly service didn’t waiver during either visit. Food & drinks were great. Dined inside the first time and the second on the patio, I prefer the patio but either way great ambiance, food and service from staff.
A Pleasant Experience with a Pricey Catch I found it to be a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant boasts a spacious and inviting atmosphere, with a comfortable dining area that exudes a unique charm. The cleanliness of both the dining space and restrooms was impressive. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff eager to assist with menu selections. The food itself was well-prepared and flavorful. However, the standout issue was the price that felt steep compared to other seafood restaurants. Overall, the place offers a delightful ambience and delicious food, but diners should be prepared for a higher price point, especially when ordering seafood.
Had a birthday lunch with the hubby today and couldn't have had a better time. Daniel was wonderful - super friendly and efficient and there if you needed anything, which we didn't because he was on it. We only splurge like this once or twice a year, so when we do, it really makes it special when the service level matches the quality of food. Thanks King's for a great experience!
A little for everyone here. We had everything from fish & chips, steaks and salads and all were delicious. Wait-staff were great, the noise level wasn't bad and I look forward to going back!
Dinner started with the Nawlins BBQ Shrimp appetizer which was delicious! The sauce had good flavor of a slightly sweet BBQ sauce with a Nawlin's finish!! Not too spicy but just enough. There was a generous amount of shrimo in the appetizer portion. I wish there were more than 2 small slices of the garlic bread, that taste great when dipped in the sauce!! A definite "must try". I ordered the blackened sea bass with a baked potato and sautéed spinach. The sea bass was good but could have used some more seasoning. Although I ordered the blackened (cajun) fish, it didn't add much flavor to the bass. The sides had a good flavor. I also can't forget the expresso martini (or two) that we had during dinner! It was good! We had the pleasure to speak with the manager,(Cameron), for a few minutes and he was very pleasant. Overall I would recommend this location.
I ordered the blackened Mexican Jumbo Shrimp with a baked potato (minus chives) and creamed spinach, the other party ordered the clam linguine. The shrimp were delicious. The spinach was more garlic than spinach and there was no cream whatsoever. The first potato that was delivered had no sour cream, but a lovely bunch of chives. I had ordered it without chives. The waitress insisted that I had ordered without sour cream, but the witness said they heard "without chives". Ridiculous. The second potato came back at room temperature, bordering on cold. The other party requested some bread, which was promised, but never delivered. The clam linguine LOOKED perfect. It would have made a stunning picture, however the flavor was a cross between dishwater and disappointment, favoring disappointment. It had a flavor, but was embarrassingly bland. For the pricing, I expected everything to be as delicious as the shrimp.
Meh. Kings used to be much tastier. We went for lunch and had the cioppinno, clams and scallops on the halfshell, and halibut tacos. The halibut tacos were bland. We could not tell it was even fish, even when tasting it by itself, without all the slaw on top. There was not a lot of fish in the cioppinno but many long strips of skin....🤷🏼♀️ the bread that came with it and the chips and guacamole that came with tacos were probably the best part of the meal.
I was not impressed with King’s Fish House. For the price I was expecting a lot more. We went for a family dinner of 5 adults to celebrate a birthday. We started with 2 appetizers: Calamari and Spicy Garlic Edamame. The calamari was dark brown and very overcooked. The edamame was a very small portion for the price – the bowl was the same size as a side of rice that later came with one of our entrees. The edamame was good, but simply based on the quantity and price, I would not recommend it. My husband had fried scallops as part of his “fish platter”, and they were tasteless. I ordered the rainbow trout which was also bland and very overpriced for one small/thin piece of trout. I have had better trout at Cracker Barrel. The sides of Brussels Sprouts and Organic Carrots were good, as well as the sourdough bread, but we went for the fish which was anything but memorable. Three of us had leftovers, and the leftovers were bagged with 2 in 1 bag, and 1 alone based on “who was together”. Unfortunately when we got home, the boxes were wrong. That was a bummer, because everyone was looking forward to their leftovers for lunch the next day, but then 2 of the 3 had the wrong food in their bag. The one thing my party of 5 can agree on was that our server, Savannah, was awesome, friendly, and accommodating. Unfortunately I can’t justify paying $300 to simply see Savannah again. I doubt any of our family will return to King’s Fish House in Corona. Over priced and bland is not what we were looking for at a birthday dinner.
Im giving 2 stars because we went on Xmas eve for my lil bros bday we asked several questions to the server about what the plates come with mine was supposed to come with half a crab and the menu did not mention anything about mussels in the dish I personally hate mussels they give me the ick, it had mussels and 1 crab leg not half a crab. I asked the server to swap it she was very polite and understanding 40 mins go by and I still didnt get a menu to decide on my next option, then the manager came he was a skinny African American kid, immediately started off rude with a standoffish tone "whats the problem here?" I explained what was wrong he replied with, "did your read the menu" I explain3d we read the menu and even asked questions of the server and notation of mussels ever came up and when he saw the crab he said I dont see what wrong with the crab, to which I said the menu says 1/2 a crab and last time I checked a crab leg is not 1/2 a crab, he was very rude and ruined the whole experience i ended up getting a mahi mahi plate was awesome delicious but still had a sour taste in my mouth with how rude the manager was, he must have seen how rude and wrong he was he comped our entire dinner but still o dont think that I should change how I feel becuz he comped our bill. There's my review and yall can form your own opinion. I put 4 stars on the food because everything else aside from the first dish that was served was superb. All this aside i do recommend going there for the food but be wary of the management team.
