My experience was great especially my waiter Allison! She was great, very nice, patient, and very clean. She made sure we had everything before we could even ask.

The food was great, and the service was wonderful. Michael was very patient and friendly to our big loud crew even when we took forever to order and eat with 2 adults and 4 kiddos.

My buddy and I swing by here pretty often after our late-night Taco Bell shifts, hungry and half-asleep, and Shannon always brings the kind of energy that wakes you right up. She’s got this natural way of making everyone feel welcome, and her attention to detail is downright impressive. We come for the food, but honestly, Shannon’s service is what keeps us coming back. One of these nights, we’re seriously bringing her a couple of Meximelts as a thank-you—because if anyone’s earned a late-night snack, it’s her.

We were enjoying our food when a stranger came in and started harassing us but Allison came to our rescue, she told him plenty of times to leave but he wouldn’t and he started getting violent he grabbed my shirt but Allison told him to let me go or things would get ugly, I was scared for my life, but when I looked at Allison and saw the determination and care in her eyes I felt safe, I knew she’d never let anything happen to me, she grabbed him by his collar and dragged him to the front door and threw him out and told him to never show his face here again, I thanked her and gave her a $200 tip 10/10 would definitely come back as long as Allison is there. She deserves a prize.

This is a fantastic Denny's location. The staff are all very friendly, kind, and helpful. From the managers, to the wait staff, to even the nice busser. So far my aunt and I have visited 3 times, and all 3 times have been really nice and enjoyable. Shawn, Jonalie and Allison were the 3 waiters who took care of us, and all 3 were an absolute joy. We always wanted to tip because the service was so good and they were so lovely to be around. They all were very helpful, and would take things back to make them more crispy or make requested adjustments if asked without any complaint. They were very quick and would check in every so often to make sure we were happy and set. They're great! I like to get the double berry banana grand slam, and it's always very tasty. My aunt likes to get hot chocolate every time, and this time she got a value slam. She seemed to enjoy it all, too. The manager, Oscar I believe, helped us with their rewards mobile app and he actually sat down and explained to my Aunt how it all worked. He was so kind, warm, and patient. We really appreciated him taking the time to help her with that. The music in the establishment is always present, but faint in the background. It's very nice and relaxing. We were so busy eating this last time that I forgot to take pictures of the main course, so here's a picture of the very tasty dessert we got. We ordered it as a reward for signing up with their rewards service. I was expecting a tiny little thing, and was astounded when that big old yummy thing came out. It's an apple crisp dish with ice cream in the center. Suuuuuper good. We will definitely be coming back. Probably will become proper regulars, honestly. :) Highly recommend, 5/5 stars.

She likely conspired with the cook, Rosendo, because the omelets were over the top! We had the veggie and the Philly Cheesesteak with cheese and mushrooms. Fresh and full is an understatement. As we (my friend and I) entered the establishment we were gracefully welcomed by our waitress Shannan. She politely told us that we could sit anywhere we would like as there were no other customers in the restaurant. We took a good look around and decided to sit close to the exit. Our waitress then asked us for what we would like to drink as she handed us our menu. My friend and I took a while to discuss what we should have and as we were almost done deciding our lovely waitress told us about a dish she loved and we took her advice. The food didn't take long at all the be cooked (bourbon chicken hotplate). As our fantastic chef Chad prepared our food our waitress Shannan kept us company and made sure our drinks were topped off. The aroma of the food was too much for me to bare and my mouth was starting to water. When the food was done I was more than ready to eat and the food was then delivered right in front of me. It smelt far too delicious to resist but I had to(for now). I took a few pictures before digging straight in. The food blew my taste buds out of the water, with so many beautifully blended flavors and the juicy chicken topped with the rich flavor of the bourbon sauce. I just could not resist any longer and devoured the food. Overall the establishment was well put together, the service was above and beyond, and the food was the best I've had in a long time. 10/10 would come again.

First visit in a long time for me. The interior is still the same and the food tasted better than I remembered. We were served by an elderly woman and she was very pleasant. The burger I ordered was massive and yummy. I ate it all and my dad ordered a breakfast special that he really enjoyed. Only thing I will not recommend is the Mac and cheese.

Service provided by Allison W was great. Unfortunately my food wasn’t the greatest. My hashbrowns were overcooked and hard to chew and my eggs for once weren’t the Denny’s eggs that I love. They were overcooked and cold. My friend says his food was a 5 stars, he was glad they finally learned how to make over easy eggs.

The food was delicious. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak omelette. Steak was a bit overdone but overall the food was good. Ordered a glass of chocolate milk and Irma C served me a cup of liquid nectar. I know it was just milk and chocolate syrup but good gravy! It was the best chocolate milk I’ve had in a long time. My only gripe is that I’m a big boy and don’t fit in the booths any more. That’s more a me problem than them but it still counts.

My wife and I had a great experience. Our orders didn't take long at all and our server, Allison, was very nice, friendly, and attentive. We would definitely come back and see her again.

The food is hit or miss at this place. I think it just depends on the cook at the time. Sometimes, the food is delcious and is all very good. Other times, like today, it's just ok. The burgers didn't have much flavor. And most of the food seemed old or just overcooked. The service was great as always. But the venue itself has no AC and has had temporary cooling units for a while. But it's still so hot and uncomfortable.

We stopped in at Denny's for breakfast before running errands. As we entered we felt a bit on the cold side with the AC temperature. I ordered the Ultimate Omelet. It comes with hashbrowns and English Muffin. This is a filling breakfast, but at best just warm and not hot. The coffee was also just warm. The restaurant was not as clean as it should be. The menu was sticky and the floor had a greasy feel. At the front door there is black grease stains. Our waitress Jan was very courteous and polite. They could become a 5star if they gave attention to detail. Same goes to the kitchen manager, food must be served hot. I'll stop in on my next visit to Corpus.

This review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion. We went to this Denny's restaurant on Monday morning, 7/26/21. FOOD: We had a few trouble to get the right tasting food but eventually we got the right food and we enjoyed it. here is what we ordered.... Chococana Pancakes = She brought the two stacks of pancakes.... I tried the first and it tasted like white onions... I tried the second stack and it tested like white onions too.... disgusting, unbearable onion taste. you dont want your sweet chocolaty pancake to taste like fried white onions. I called the Server and she replaced my Pancakes. the new batch of pancakes had the right flavor and they were actually very good. I love pancakes at Denny's. they were fluffy, spongy, big and perfectly made. Chocolate chips, fresh fruit and whipping cream are an amazing combination!! really enjoyed them. Loaded Veggie Omelet = it was very good, my wife loved it and devoured it. It was really full of veggies and had a very nice mix of filling and the flavor was absolutely great. Coffee = good coffee, smooth and balanced. like most of the times at Denny's. we like the coffee they serve in their restaurants. STAFF: our server, JAN, I believe, was very nice and professional. she was kind and friendly along the entire service. When I told her that my pancakes tasted like onion she was very sorry and apologetic.... so she went ahead and took my pancake away. after 10 minutes she came back with 2 stacks of freshly made pancakes who tasted just amazing. She was very helping and comprehensive. Her attitude was absolutely 100% customer satisfaction oriented. thank you Jan. The manager welcomed us after 20 minutes and then made a strange comment "oh, my people are just coming in, so now we can sit you".... and me and my wife looked at each other like.... why did they open if they do not have enough Staff. But since it was a heartily welcome we just did not say anything. PLACE: the place is outdated and has old furniture. never been remodeled I guess. The biggest problem (reason for the 3 stars) was the horrible smell of Sewage/sewer that was all over the place. at the very beginning we thought it was just next to the restrooms but then we sat down at the other end of the restaurant we realized the overwhelming smell was still there. We wanted to leave but we hadn't had any food from the afternoon before, so too hungry! in some spots they had water leaking form the ceiling and in some areas, like where we were sitting, the floor was dirty and not mopped. PRICE: I little bit more expensive than most of the Denny's, but still fairly priced. CONCLUSION: I hope the next time I'm back in that Denny's the smell is gone.... I loved their service and their food.

Saw waitress the minimum of times, i ordered coffee and it was lukewarm. I ordered an ultimate omelet and it was very oily. Could only eat part of it since it made my stomach upset. The hash browns were cooked in old oil, took it home and my dog enjoyed it. I saw that No one was at restaurant at 6pm, should've went elsewhere.

The stars belong to Sara. She was amazing, friendly and attentive. However, as others have mentioned, not sure if the a/c was broken but it was HOT in there. They did have some fans going, but it was still uncomfortable. Also, they need to hire a new dishwasher. Our silverware was disgusting! Sticky and not clean at all, we had to use plastic ware. Soak, run through the dishwasher, polish, THEN you roll. If the silverware is still dirty, send it back for another wash. Manager was there and made no effort to apologize or take accountability.

Must mention this. When checking out, the waitress charged us previous customer bill. We didn't pay attention til we got home. I called the location and spoke with the manager about the mix up and stated what we paid for was not what we ordered. The manager discounted the difference and gave us the difference. This was my first visit in a very long time, but I thought it would have an improved menu and maybe an updated interior. No, on all counts , but I was still hopeful the food was good . After all, how could breakfast be bad? WRONG. After waiting for more than 30 minutes for our food , I had 3 things ; pancakes , bacon ,and hash browns. The pancakes were good , and I ate both. The bacon was so burnt that I took a bite, and it crumbled. The hash browns were burnt on top and not really cooked under. The server gave my husband an extra plate of food with 2 eggs , 2 bacon and hash browns , when he told her this she said that was what she was dealing with all morning ,( wrong orders from the kitchen) , to enjoy. We did take it to go ( for our puppy) , but threw it out. I did speak with the manager on duty , told him all the problems , and even showed him pictures of the food . He said it was not up to standards and should not have gone out , and people would be made aware. So, hopefully, he will fix it , but I doubt I will go back to find out , MAYBE, for lunch. Frankly, there are too many places for meals in Corpus to go to bad food.

Management was HORRIBLE. Waited an hour for our food, everything was cold and service was slow even with the restaurant being nearly empty. I would never bring my family here again, what a frustrating experience.

There were two little hairs in my plate of food. Very gross, and they didn't apologize for being gross. Our server Irma was very rude and mean. Wouldn't recommend this place. There were two bosses who heard the whole thing and never apologized. Very sad place. They just sat there. 😞

The "acting" manager on duty is loud, extremely rude, discrimination to say the least. Unfortunately I was experiencing difficulty with my bank account and my card, but she wasn't having it. I wasn't even trying to leave without paying my bill, I explained to the lady I would return tomorrow and pay my bill, she said NO I am calling the cops on you. I said ok and stayed until she appeared again and was told to get off the property and not to return. If I did return I would be given a trespass warning and I would be arrested. My bill was $18.40 She isn't trained for that position and she shouldn't be aloud to treat others that way.

Terrible service at midnight on a Tuesday. Besides us, there was one other party. Took 15 minutes to get drinks. Then we saw the one cook just constantly on his phone and walking around. Well past 30 minutes. We arrived at 12 midnight and left at 12:45 with the cook never in the kitchen. We paid for our drinks and left to spend 25 minutes at a Whataburger drive through and 5 minutes later at home in pjs. Don’t waste your time here.

We ate here Thursday night worst experience at that Dennys. The lady that greeted us was friendly. The server had a poor attitude, took long to refill coffee, wouldn’t crack a smile for nothing, the food was not good. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. We usually go to the Navigation location but didn’t because their AC has been out for a while. It’s worth the drive to Navigation, Shelly over there will treat you right.

I’ve eaten at more than 10 different Denny’s locations across Texas, and this was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we were seated, it took nearly 30 minutes just to get water and meet our server, even though the restaurant only had about five other tables occupied. What made the experience worse was how differently the staff seemed to treat guests. The older server was moving extremely slow, barely checking on her tables, and ignoring us entirely. Meanwhile, a much younger server—who wasn’t even assigned to us—was working incredibly hard, running around taking care of her own tables and repeatedly stepping in to fix issues caused by the older server. She was patient, kind, fast, and genuinely doing everything she could to keep the place afloat. Parts of my order were incorrect, and I went 15+ minutes with an empty soda sitting at the edge of the table without a single check-in. I eventually had to flag down the younger waitress just to get a refill. It honestly felt like we were being overlooked on purpose. To top it off, when it was finally time to leave, it took almost 30 minutes just to get the check. The younger server even tried to help correct an overcharge caused by the system when I used a Denny’s app coupon—and instead of helping, the older server suddenly appeared only to scold her, despite not assisting us at any point during the visit. From being seated to leaving, our dinner lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes with almost no service, no refills, and long stretches of being completely ignored. I generally tip very generously, but this was one of the only dining experiences I’ve ever had where the service genuinely didn’t earn it. I do plan to return so I can update this review with the names of the hard-working young waitress who saved the night as much as she could, as well as the older server whose lack of effort dragged the entire experience down. Extremely disappointing visit.
