This was my first time in years dining in person. This is everything you want in a mom & pop bbq restaurant. Lots of options, food was fresh!

1st time dining in for lunch with family, we all enjoyed our chosen meals. I had the dark chicken pieces with green beans, nice smoky flavor on the chicken and green beans with bacon, can’t go wrong. Most enjoyable lunch.

Place was great. Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and the place was clean. One thing that stood out to me the most was there was Christian music playing in the background that I absolutely loved!!! I will definitely add this to the list of places I will spend money on.

I've been coming to this place for about 4 years. I'm from out of town and every time I come to Corpus Christi I make it a point to stop and eat some barbecue. The brisket is very moist. The ribs fall off the bone every time. Their brussel sprouts are great. And the employees are friendly. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves BBQ.

We tried beef ribs (tasty and falling of the bone), pork ribs(tasted great and very tender), brisket (moist, tender and tasty), sausage (best I ever tried), potato salad (couldn’t get enough), macaroni salad (meh, not my fav but he loved it), stewed zucchini (so delicious), then finished with CHOCOLATE CAKE (WHEW! I was full and still managed to eat every single crumb 🤤) and good, strong, fresh brewed coffee (smooth, strong without the bitter taste)

Hands Down the best BBQ Ever! Im picky about BBQ but there's nothing that i didn't like... It's like a BBQ at Grandads house... Chefs kiss to Christina, Kelly, Missy and Mariah made who made us feel right at home. The food is Delicious and enough on two plates to feed a family of four... with a take out box to boot! My family and I are visiting from California, we decided to try this establishment. The staff was friendly upon arrival, the food was delicious and very reasonable is priced with good portions of food. The place was nice and big. The kids love the ice cream at the end. I got the rib and 1 meat plate. The rib was cooked perfectly and was HUGE. I wasn't able to eat it and had plenty to take hole after. I barely touched the brisket bc the rib defeated me pretty early on. They were great for lunch at work the next day. The people who work there are welcoming and can answer any questions you have about their menu. I would recommend this place if you're in the mood for good BBQ.

We showed up at 1:00 pm, plenty of seats open and the place was clean. I got the 1/2 chicken with a side of pinto beans and potato salad and finished it off with a piece of pecan pie and some ice cream. The chicken was tender and delicious, and the sides are always good. There is also a condiment bar where you can serve yourself with, lemons, onions, jalapenos, pickles, and pico de gallo. Don't miss out on the complementary soft serve ice cream. This is one of our regular BBQ stops and has been for years. You just can't miss no matter what you get, beef ribs, pork ribs, brisquet, and when I'm really trying to watch my weight or just want a change their smoked turkey breast is always tender and delicious.

Imho the highest quality bbq place in corpus Christi. Pros: Food is excellent including the sides. The beef ribs look like something the Flintstones would be eating, they are that thick. On occasion I have received 50cent pieces and 2 dollar bills for change here which is neat. They also have free soft serve ice cream here. Cons: it can get a little tricky to get in and out of the parking lot.

This is my go to BBQ place in Corpus Christi. There are others, but for my area of the city, it's #1. Great comfort food prepared by great people for everyday workers and families. Good choice of sides. Cafeteria style sevice. Free soft ice cream. On a recent visit, there were a couple of community cats taking a nap outside. That's how friendly the place is.

Even the sides are always spot on...my wife regularly gets tge veggie plate because they are so good! The ice cream machine gives a perfect cap to the meal. The staff here are wonderful as well..very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!!

What a great pleasure to eat at your place. Had the pork ribs(didnt need fork/knife) and pulled pork(not dry). Noted no smoke smell/taste in the meat and knew they didnt use mesquite, but had the telltale flavor of hickory. Loved the thick-chunk cole slaw and your Tx beans were right on. Oh my...to top it off...giant cookies. Thank you for a wonderful Tx BBQ meal. BBQ Woody.

I visit Silverado weekly. The food is consistently delicious! The workers are very nice, kind and caring. They enjoy what they do and care about their customers. The chicken, brisket, pork ribs and sides are all very tasty. They also have good sausage, turkey and beef ribs. The spices are just the right mixture and enhance the flavor of the meats. The food is usually pretty good except I was disappointed on the quality of brisket that day.

Great barbecue seriously. Now you can buy beer. What else do you need? The religious music still sucks.

My first time coming here was great. I tried the brisket plate that comes with two sides + 2 slices of bread or corn muffins. That plate is only about $12. I was surprised that four of us could eat at a BBQ place for about $50! We also grabbed one of their huge brownies to share that only cost $3. It's big enough to cut into 4 servings. They also have free soft serve ice cream. My only complaint was that the condiment bar wasn't being refreshed like it should have. The pickles onions and banana peppers seemed fine, but the lemon wedges looked like they were probably a week old.

It's a good BBQ joint. It's comparable to Rudy's but it's locally owned and I like that plus they have free soft serve. We had the pork ribs & brisket (fat) plates and were happy with the quality and quantity of the food. We'll go back.

I had only been to Silverado Smokehouse once prior, and I had the brisket plate, which was really good. On my my second visit, I had the 1/4 smoked chicken plate with spinach and potato salad. The chicken was smoked to perfection and was very soft and tasty. The sides were really good also.

I always drove by not knowing what I was missing. Definitely good eats. Jalapeño sausage is probably my favorite. Not too pricey. Atmosphere is good. Never been crazy crowded.

When I see an older person struggling with getting out the words of what they want and they have a hard time hearing you. you can see the fact they are not sure what they are supposed to do next. Your inability to take her time and speak up so they can hear was not okay and elderly person who is clearly struggling with getting rushed and they are aware of how they are not getting the items they are wanting and you move on to the next plate serving up more than just the sides adding your side of attitude. Again! I don't know what she is going through personally. My suggestion is if you must be at work in public you can tell your boss that you don't have any desire to deal with the public is a way to change it so you don't have to deal with that or something else. I understand what I think and what I know is two different things. But I know for a fact that you should never treat an elderly person that way you can fake it for a few seconds and get them situated and be double attitudy to the next in line. The other staff were sweet as could be. Especially the girl who was working the dining room area wiping tables and the trays. Very sweet. very helpful

I liked the bbq. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had as I’ve been all over Texas, but it’s pretty top notch compared to other bbq places in the area. The ribs were alright. I love how they just fell off the bone, but I do wish it had a bit more seasoning. The chicken tasted good. Mac and cheese, green beans were pretty yum. Corn bread was a bit dry but still tasted good. Overall, probably will be one of my go to barbecue places here in town. I haven’t found a place I was a fan of until I tried this place.

I got a Frito pie today , it was delicious. They use chopped beef , Fritos on the bottom , and cheddar cheese, and I get extra sauce. They also give you sour cream. I only ate half and took the rest home. I really loved it, and it was not too busy , which does not matter as it is a walk the line and pick your food.

I have driven by this place a few tumes and finally decided to try it. I am glad I did. The brisket and pork loin are very good. The employees were very helpful in explaining everything to me. The only downside for me was that i wish the bread could have been texas toast- style and the pie was at least warm. Taste-wise, everything was fantastic and I cannot wait to come back and try the ribs.

Best bbq we randomly found. We got their dinasor rib and chopped brisket and they were so delicious 🤤 the Mac and cheese was to die for!!!! lol but don’t I repeat do not get the mashed potatoes those need a lot of love they were so bland and gravy was just nasty that’s the only side we didn’t like.. but the meat it’s self was fall off the bone 🍖 tender and delicious 🤤 definitely give it a try!

This local spot has a friendly vibe and seems popular with regulars. When you walk in, you’re greeted and order cafeteria-style, which is nice since you can see all the barbecue meats on display. The line service was friendly, and there’s plenty of seating. Now, for the food— the brisket had a commercial smoke taste, though it did have a nice peppery bark. The standout was the pork ribs; they were perfectly tender, falling off the bone, with a great smoke flavor. The sausage seemed either homemade or custom-prepared for the restaurant, which was a nice touch. The southern-style green beans were good, and the mashed sweet potatoes added something different, though I usually prefer them chunkier. Plus, the complimentary ice cream machine was a great dessert option. The pricing and value make this an overall winner and a spot you’d want to return to.

Silverado Smokehouse is a good place. It appears locally known (as you see from the awards on other pictures) and when I arrived, it was a family atmosphere. I suggest looking at the menu first and knowing what you want ahead of time. I ordered the brisket, spicy sausage, pork ribs, mac n cheese, Cole slaw, and mixed veggies (corn, tomatoes, and squash), because I skipped breakfast to try this place. The ribs and sausage had the flavor to go with the mac n cheese with cole slaw; the only issues I had was the brisket was a little more dry than I am used to and the mixed veggies were more of a soup than a side. It is somewhere I would like to try again for hopes there are some improvements.

The BBQ sauce is delicious, but you don't even need it on the meats since they are bursting with flavor 😋 They have free soft serve ice cream. There is plenty of parking. Tried searching for the best BBQ places in Corpus that served Mac n cheese. This unfortunately was a miss for us. I ordered marbled brisket and it was rather dry and tough, also cold. The mashed potatoes were good. The corn muffins were dry as well. Gave it 3 stars because the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was clean and open, however we were not a fan of the food. It tasted oven baked and not actually smoked.

The pork ribs were great, the sausage was good, and the brisket was moist but not the best brisket we've ever had. However, the sides were all pretty mediocre. The beans tasted like run of the mill pinto beans out of a can and you could tell the rice had been sitting there for hours. The bread comes out of a bag and they were out of corn muffins. They were also out of mac n cheese and chocolate soft serve. Perhaps, if we came earlier and not for dinner, our experience would have been better.

This place used to be great back in the day. The beef ribs dont have any flavor. Thesausage had no pop and was rubbery. Brisket was Dry. Macaroni and cheese was good. Green beans were good. She said it was Already Closed and they closed at 8 pm ! Well we looked at our time and it was 8 20 pm! So We Hurried and got our leftovers to take and we were going to get a tea refill, WELL, guess what?? NO MORE TEA!! THEY HAD ALREADY THROWN IT!! They COULD HAVE ASKED BEFORE SHUTTING DOWN, IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE THROWING OUT OR TURNING OFF EVERYTHING!! THATS THE LAST TIME WE GO THERE!! Very DISAPPOINTING!! The staff USED TO BE BETTER!!! 😡😡😡😡😡☹️☹️☹️

For the price, the amount of brisket I received versus sausage was disappointing. They hit it with a scale, and it was predominantly sausage. It was good, but it wasn't that good. I will say, the mac and cheese was good. The cornbread was trash (cold). I wouldn't go back by choice.

We ordered brisket, beef ribs, and sausage on 2 different plates. The brisket was dry as a bone. Te only thing drier was the cornbread. The beef rib while fatty was moist and had decent flavor. The sausage at best was average. Their vegetables were also average at best. Scary to think this was rated the best of BBQ in corpus for several years. In Texas, brisket is important and here they did not pass.

The restaurant was very rustic. That was a plus, and the service was ok, but the food was terrible. I had people here from the east that wanted Texas BBQ. I was embarassed. We all had different meat choices, and they were either dry and flavorless or tasted like they were baked in an oven, not smoked outside on a pit. The sides were just as flavorless.

The meats are flavorless and dry. Cornbread dry as sawdust. Sides have no flavor. Nothing served qualifies as Texas BBQ.

I hate to give reviews of eating establishments but people are making decisions on these reviews and i felt obligated to share my experience. This place is highly reviewed by someone. Which is why we went there for a good BBQ meal. Couldn't have been more disappointed. I tried a multiple meat entree. All of the meats were fine just had no or very little flavor. The BBQ sauce didn't help as it was weak and flavorless. The side of coleslaw was not sweet nor tangy it was just bland chopped cabbage. The green beans was the best part of a poor meal. The lemonade was mostly water. Even the Pecan Pie was not fresh. Soft pecans do not make a pie taste like real pie. If this place was once good it has declined severely.

Sadly this will be our last visit to a once favorite restaurant. We wanted zucchini sticks as an appetizer which is on the menu but in a combo platter. We asked the server if we could just have the zucchini sticks like they used to have them on the menu as an appetizer on their own. We were told no. I asked if it was possible to order the salmon ala cart since I noticed that it had the option of being added to salads, but no salmon entree was available. I would have ordered the salmon and a couple of side vegetables which would have come out to more than the chicken lunch item I settled for instead. My husband at least got the steak he wanted but not the appetizer. We both feel these were poor business decisions and are leaving disappointed and dissatisfied. We also did not receive any bread while the tables that came in after all did. Lost 2 good customers that used to dine in several times a month.

Went there for dinner and to my suprise rhere was a penny in my pinto beans told tbe manager there reply. OH MY not im sorry, are you all right ,we need to check the beans make sure they are ok,or throw them out. Just oh my. Will never go there again.and you should not either major food hazard just think how many germs and bacteria are on money

BBQ is overpriced and tasted pretty much the same as bill miller, I paid 23 for a 3 meat combo and the brisket portion it was so small, it was 3 little pieces of brisket like 4" inches and thin. I would never go back or will not recommend it.

Service was excellent and so was the environment. However the brisket was very dry and lacking flavor. I don’t know if they were off that day or what. Drowning this brisket in bbq sauce couldn’t save it. I had to go return it and let them know and get some chicken. I will say the chicken was decent.

BBQ so dry I need to drink in order to swallow. Definitely served me and my guests yesterday's leftovers that sat in a warmer overnight. Absolute leather.

Awful, the smell and taste of the sauce made me want to gag. Low quality BBQ. Potato salad was trashy with the potato skin. Lack flavor. So many barbecue spots throughout Texas that are better. Another failed eatery for Corpus.

Found the food to be very bland and more of a chain restaurant taste. Brisket was flavorless couldn't tell if it was dry or wet rub. No seasoning present and lacked any marbling. No flavor present representing anything of a hickory smoke flavor as well. Had a smoke ring but nothing else besides being dry meat. Sausage was more than likely a restaurant grade product. Seemed like something from restaurant supplier brand or Eckrich sausage. Sides were not anything spectacular. They weren't different but just the same old staples that come from a big box or giant can. I do not recommend them for being a place to get quality brisket or other bbq favorites. I didn't finish my plate. I couldn't find the effort to finish it much like the effort that was used to prepare it. I understand it's also a neighborhood restaurant but we should expect better quality barbecue in South Texas. They may have those awards plastered all around but their food lacked flavor and any hint of innovation when it comes to making flavorful barbecue. I challenge people to visit other barbecue joints on your travels and see what we are missing and should want in Corpus Christi.

Came here to eat because it's normally pretty good today not so much The ribs were burnt don't even know why they served it to me I'll never come back here again
