RH Rooftop was fully booked on the long weekend. We came here imstead with 8 people and they provided an excellent services. Good amount of food and great tatse as well. This is a great spot for large party gathering without needing to wait for a long time. Decent food for family and kids.
After RH rooftop restaurant Marine refusing a reservation for eight people. We called this restaurant they will come us with smile and good service. The food is excellent. The service is excellent. The waiter are very accommodating offering recommendation of delicious food what to eat, knowledgeable what are the ingredients .The serving is big and I love it I really wanna come back again, and I really love to recommend this to all my friend and coworker .
We stopped by Il Fornaio on a whim, craving a quick Italian bite on our way home, and it absolutely hit the spot. We dined at the bar, which had a nice, relaxed vibe — perfect for a casual yet elevated experience. We ordered the carpaccio, gnocchi, tiramisu, and cortado — and every single item delivered. The carpaccio was fresh and beautifully presented with arugula, capers, shaved parmesan, and a bright touch of lemon. The gnocchi was tender and comforting, and the tiramisu was exactly what you want it to be — creamy, balanced, and not overly sweet. The cortado wrapped everything up just right. Shout-out to our barman, who recommended a fantastic Italian beer (Menabrea — crisp and refreshing) and was super friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The overall ambiance had a classic charm — from the elegant dining room to the cool hallway lined with vintage Italian racing photos. A great spot for a satisfying Italian meal that feels special and cooked with care. Highly recommend!
We came in late but never felt rushed by Javier. He made excellent wine suggestions to pair with out appetizers and meals. The plate presentation was gorgeous and seasoned to perfection. Bravo to the guys in the kitchen and chef. Don’t fill up on the delicious bread they give you! It’s so good!

June 2022: Returned with 2 friends and enjoyed salmon, linguini, ice cream, great bread, good coffee and a chocolate dessert. Tasty! $65/pp Sept. 22: Still terrific! Great bread, Salmon and Ravioli. Terrific server and engaging bar tender.
We've been coming here for years and it has never disappointed. I usually get the Lasagna but this time the salmon just sounded better, it was just better than ever. The wife had the Lasagna and said it was the best. We've had a number of their dishes and I have yet to have one disappoint. I always appreciate their service, it's spot on, always friendly and makes for an enjoyable evening. Their bread is the best as well. We'll keep coming here for sure. The parking is a bit tricky because there are a number of things to do in this area so don't worry about not being able to park close.

Last week my friend and I had lunch at Il Fornaio Corte Madera. The meal was tasty but I'm writing this review to acknowledge our server, Stephen. He was polite, personable, professional and. knowledgeable. He was patient with our questions and checked on us often. For a young man, he displays the polish and maturity of someone beyond his age. In short, we felt cared for and listened to, which is not always the case in restaurants. Il Fornaio is fortunate to have him on their team as he is a role model for service excellence.
Had a fantastic experience today. My girls wanted spaghetti bolognese and so I took them here. The staff and food were great. However the highlight was the older gentleman who I think was the main chef, came over with pizza dough and condiments and made pizza with my 4 and 6 year old and then went and cooked it in the pizza oven for them. This was not charged and was initiated entirely by the chef. It was the highlight of the day and the girls and I will be back for sure.
This dessert deserves a 5-star - with its perfect mix and harmony of flavors and texture. Just ask for the one with pistachio (forgot the name). Both pastas we ordered were filling and the one with vodka sauce was the winner for its taste. Pleasant Holiday ambiance with white tablecloth inside and more casual, sunroom-like setting in the additional area with a fireplace. Attentive staff.

While shopping, we stopped in for bite. One of my first jobs as a teen was working in an Italian restaurant. With that said, it takes a lot to impress me when dining Italian, especially upscale. Over critical, i'd say. IL Forniao gets an honorable mention. The menu inspires an appetite. The staff, friendly and helpful. The food was good, really good but not great. If that makes sense. We enjoyed this place and it's people a lot. We'd even come back and try other items on the menu. I'd even recommend checking it out.
Sunday afternoon around 2pm was able to sit immediately. Service was great food was tasty and hot. Bottle of wine, 2 entries and an appetizer $130+ love the atmosphere
Professionally run corporate restaurant. Excellent service, nice space, standardized dishes, premium prices. Nice option for a low risk business lunch or first date. Food quality uneven. We had sparkling water ($9!), mixed meat appetizer (good size, uninteresting meat selections, weird addition of parmesan hunks for the cheese selection), pistachio pasta (nice flavor if you like your pesto mild, cold undercooked pasta served in an unwarmed plate), and grilled mixed fish. The grilled fish plate was beautiful to look at, less enjoyable to eat. Nice fatty piece of salmon, well cooked but over salted. Too moist, stringy/undercooked scallops without much flavor; very low quality. Nicely done good quality shrimp, perfectly cooked; lots of salt. Potatoes well cooked with too much salt. White fish was fine, not much flavor. Greens were undercooked and room temperature. The carrots might have been the best part of the dish; very flavorful and perfectly cooked. That's all we had: $139 including tip.
Excellent ambiance and decor spoiled by mediocre pasta and service. Ricottina Affumicata appetizer was interesting, ricotta with honey and almonds served with crunchy bread, very tasty. Gamberoni e Capesante entree was also tasty, scallops perfectly cooked with a delicious lobster flavor sauce. Gnocchi Friulana wasn't bad, gnocchi were light and tasty but the sauce was a boring, and underseasoned, cheese and tomato. The Rigatoni Vodka should have been delicious but it wasn't, odd taste and no seasoning. The server seemed like he was having to manage too many tables, took too long to reappear and didn't seem that interested in ensuring we were getting what we wanted. Disappointing dining experience.
Atmosphere is good because this restaurant has inside patio and a big space. The food is good but it s not so special. But I think good space for couple and family also. At the bar, you can watch sports games.

Also had a tiramisu which was also very good. Unfortunately, I ordered the lasagna and was not happy with it. It was covered excessively with bechamel sauce and was, in my opinion, overcooked to the point of being unpleasantly mushy. Quite a shame because I used to eat at Il Fornaio on a monthly basis back when the San Francisco location was still open. I used to really enjoy the regional menu that they had on a monthly basis. Someone ordered the margherita and I tried a piece. It was uninspiring. Bread used to be complimentary with a wonderful variety (olive 🫒 bread, ciabatta, bread sticks)... but now they charge $3 for a little bit of a baguette. Service was not consistent. Our server was friendly but ignored us a few times. Would consider trying this place again due to my fondness of the Regional menu (pre-pandemic). But I'll order a different pasta next time. And order dessert 😀.

Usually, I don't like to post negative reviews without multiple visits because I understand that sometimes service is different per crew and different days of the week yield different results. But this experience definitely doesn't even warrant a second visit. First off after we got our food order in we never saw anyone ever again to check on us and we had to get up and find our own pitcher of water multiple times because no one even walked by. Also, there were ants all over the place which should not be acceptable for a restaurant. The second red flag should have been. It was maybe 30% capacity on a Friday night so obviously people are noticing something is not right. The food was the best part of the meal but again just felt flat under seasoned uneven cook temperatures like piping, hot pasta and freezing cold scallops not a great experience. Went with a few people and everyone else had the same experience. The food was just subpar. Spending over 115 for 3 people with no drinks or dessert is not what I expected from this place. At least parking is easy in the shopping center and the atmosphere is quite charming unfortunately, That can't save from the experience.
I believe our waitress name was Carissa or Clarissa. She must’ve visited our table and interrupted our conversation, at least 15 times. We’re having a very serious conversation, but she continued to butt in and ruined the lunch for the three of us. She needs serious training and how to Be more sensitive to her customers. In addition to diners at our table ordered fish, and both said it was subpar. Won’t be going back. Rather than allowing us to enjoy Each of his company, which is why we went to lunch, the waitress thought it was all about her.
