We stopped late, around 7 pm. Service was pretty good, friendly staff if just a tad slow. Food was really good. It is dinner food, so don't expect a 5 Star restaurant. But everything we tried was quite good. Really big portions. Would stop again

Glorious portion sizes and value. The menu options are expansive but not expensive at all. No frills cozy little space serving up great food. Expect to pay $10-18 PER PERSON. We ordered blueberry pancakes, corn beef hash, a side of eggs, and the scrambled egg special. All came out to only $25 (including tip) for 2 adults! Parking is easy.

FANTASTIC FOOD!!! My family loves to drive all the way from ithaca just to have breakfast or some great home cooked 🍳 food. Everything on the menu is fresh and cooked well. I give 10☆

The Cortland Diner has many items to pick from to eat .They always have homemade bakery items to have also. They do get busy when the college students are in town. If you are hungry this is a good place to go.!

Great experience. We visited on our way back to Canada. The portions were filling and decently priced for a family of 5. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and attentive.

The Mediterranean omelet was good and included hash browns with sour dough toast. The pricing was good. I also ordered a pancake and a spaghetti kid's meal, my bill was less than $25.

This place has a parking lot which is nice. It can be hard to find parking on the road for other places to eat near here. The service was quick.The prices are decent . The food was pretty good. I got the scallops and macaroni salad with a side of home fries with sausage gravy. It was all pretty good. Overall I would recommend this place.

We were looking for a good meal while on the road and this place did not disappoint. The food was good and served fairly fast for a full diner. There were a lot of options on the menu which can be overwhelming for some. The service was on point and was right there every time we needed something. Good stop for some local family food.

Middle of the road experience across all categories. Atmosphere: the red neon lights along the ceiling, coupled with fans resulted in a strobe like experience that was bothersome to the two of us. Feel sorry for someone more sensitive to flickering lights. Service: pleasant enough when we saw our waitress - seems like she was maybe on a break? Saw her eating and chewing a few times behind the counter. Had to get a coffee refill by flagging down a different waitress. Also took too long to pay. Food: Toast and meats were good. Thought my omelet was a pinch undercooked, runny in a few spots. The mushrooms were so big and overpowering in the omelet. The homefries alone were okay, needed seasoning, but I ordered mine with onions and peppers. I figured they would be fried up and cooked into my potatoes...boy was I mistaken. Think peppers and onions for on top of a sausage sandwich....waterlogged and flavorless just piled on top of my home fries. I ended up wasting my money 💰 on that addition as I scraped most of it off because it was not great. My son was much happier with his scrambled eggs.

Very nice staff, but ehh not a huge fan of the food. Bread was tough, home fries looked like hash browns and the bacon on omelet was super fatty. I couldn’t eat it.
