Nice Burger gets good marks for consistent pizza quality and speed, especially when using the app and Pizza Portal. However, service is inconsistent, with complaints about order accuracy and availability of 'hot and ready' items. Some customers praise specific employees like Arturo and Adrian.
Tip: Use the app and Pizza Portal for quick and convenient pickup. Be aware that 'hot and ready' items may not always be available, so consider calling ahead or ordering through the app.

Adrian helped me with my order he’s the best most handsome worker ever!!! Will definitely be coming back.
Arturo knows how to make a customer feel welcome to little Caesar. I am grateful for his customer service skills!
Love the Pizza Portal....quick & convenient. Only issue is three times now I order bread stick combo & I have to ask for sauce because they didnt have any ready when they put my order in the portal. So, they get 4 stars on service. Otherwise everything is perfect.
Good staff. Very friendly and are happy to help. The place itself looks modern and recently built. The pizza is the same as any other little Cesars. The pizzas on Saturdays are always hit and ready, haven't been sitting there long, because people buy at that time.
Consistent quality from store to store. Great price and value. My kid's favorite. And with the internet app and auto serve pizza warmers, order on your phone using their app, , drive there, walk in past waiting customers, put in a code and out pops your pizza, Hot and ready! Where else can you feed a family of four without cooking yourself for $5.00 ?
It's fast food, but nothing ever comes out thrown together like you'd get in the lunch and dinner rushes of most of those other guys. Where too often your UNWANTED deconstructed taco or burrito, even the occasional deconstructed cheese quesadilla, is unfortunately the chefs menu. Served with all the same sanctimoniously puffed-up, bumptious, air of the most exaggerated cliche of that holier-than-you, cocksure French chef, with no tolerance or patience to be questioned, simply take it or leave it, you're wrong if you think the taco was not meant to discard its contents proudly across your lap, sprinkling tomattos and tiny slivers of grated cheese AND meat bits, over your lap, center console, finding it's way underneath your seats. No. This team is really quite awesome. Over the last few years, we have stopped to pick up our preordered dinner, or stepped inside to place an order in person. Generally speaking a very standardized meal, typically a pizza or two, generally a perperoni maybe add pineapple, typically just one, large, accompanied with those crazy original bread sticks, except when feeling really in the mood, we may add yet another rendition of their traditional take on the Italian bread side, adding the cheese filled sticks to the order. Occasionally we may have added a soda or drink, but really can't remember getting any deserts or items off their sweets section. Of course there's the mandatory addition of the sauces, here again through the years we've generally kept to the typical dipping accoutrements, ranch and butter garlic, once in a while one of the trends just to try it. But this Little Ceasers, no matter how close we've just cut it to the end of their shift, or the closing for the night, I have never been greeted by an unfriendly smile or unkind hello welcome to little Cesar's. There is ALWAYS laughter that doesn't show signs of creating distractions, or turning the menu into a ballistic messes, of dishovoled pizzas, unsealed sauces, cold or uncooked sides of bread with or without cheeses stuffed within. The food looks like or even better than the corporate hung images and menus from which we've just ordered. Served almost always quicker than the cashiers bold and ritualistic change and receipt mantra, consisting of sincerest gratitude and his or her predicted time of completion on that order. Minutes. Always in minutes. Always. It's simply just minutes ALWAYS being predicted. And not once have they been wrong, nor misplaced, they're always correct, a better record than the champ himself, Nostradamus. I have not once, from my childhood to today, this location or any other, ever had an issue with the correctness and quality being less than 💯 percent perfectly spot on. The staff here, at this location, they are great. I've always seen happiness, never disturbed by crowds, putting their food out to their customers, in always the quality promised but more commonly even better than advertised. It just feels old school, like what I imagine the oldies of the 50s must have been like. Politeness and caring, coming from everywhere and everyone. I get it, it's too dramatic, it's just fast food. I know. But it's also a group of young people, who show a better side of what humans can be, which is quite rare in today's world. Thank you for being you and keep it up. It's just nice to feel that type of humanity when doing something as trivial and simple as just ordering and or picking up our pizzas. It's quite a nice change. Thank you for being you.
The recipes for styling and especially portioning are being followed by the young people operating this unit. The same pizza I order once weekly is consistently the same, (tasty), from week to week even when different associates are preparing my pizza. The young crew is friendly and efficient and greets all customers at the door. Other units could learn from the best practices performed here in costa mesa. Furthermore, I work in Newport bch, live in santa ana, and have made this store my pizza store. Great job! Your stores could use an updated look and new decore.
It’s Little Caesars dude it’s cheap pizza so if you’re getting a five dollar pizza, you should know what to expect I would say five stars just for the product they put out for the cheapest they do
Fast service and good food for the price

Good pizza but terrible service. My order was messed up on 3 different occasions. I normally wouldn't mind but the team there was not very helpful or communicative.

Small location but usually quick service. Good quality pizza for the price. We usually ask for a fresh out of the oven even if it's the pepperoni pizza. Taste better than the ones that have been out for a while. Nice employees.

Ordered hot and ready pizza via the app, was not ready, had 4 people come in after and they were given hot and ready pizza first, they ordered the same thing. When it finally was ready they burnt it, disappointing but was too hungry to care plus it was pouring. Also after it was ready, instead of handing it to me, they put it in the hot lock box instead of handing it to me as I was standing directly next to it. I still had to wait for my email to notify me that it was ready then scan the emailed QR code to unlock my pizza. The flavor is what I was looking for but the staff of the day was under-par and it was just a little frustrating.
Honestly the pizza is good and just like most other Little Caesars but this place pretty much never has anything ready that you want you can almost count on it that you need to call ahead of time and many people have said as much. Honestly I would recommend downloading their app if you plan on using this location the people are friendly but they simply just never have anything in stock other than maybe basic pepperoni and the extra pepperoni one. Still decent food for the price all things considered.
Don't have many if any "hot & ready" ever ready when I go there (1/7 times had H&R cheese that I estimate was made 3+hrs B4 I bought it) Asked if I could get ½ of the bites order 1 style & ½ the other kind, associate said "sure no prob" Then I assume manager entered the prep area I noticed them talking, then associate had to come tell me he couldn't honor my agreed upon special request. I wanted to say something, although after noticing employee attitude reminiscent of a whipped pet after having a enjoyment level of like 4/5 B4 manger entered squashing said spirit & making a big deal out of nothing imo, I thought twice not wanting to make the employees lives any worse than it seemed employers made it already imo. Note: I couldn't hear what was said to employee, it's possible that the associate was a deviant being that drew vigor upon offering little amounts of happiness to humans in the form of agreeing to simple special requests than denying said agreement lengthening their lifeforce or keeping them from revealing their tru demon form. Tho possible I doubt the latter being the tru option. & 1 other customer experience I was witness to; a customer was having difficulty opening the locker for her mobile order she was offered very little assistance and when she finally was able to open the locker, it was empty. An employee told her it was already picked up then. After assuring them to be impossible, as she ordered it standing outside only a few minutes prior & proceeded to walk inside upon being alerted said order was ready & waiting for her. After a lengthy back and forth between the two I overheard that the order had been forgotten and not put into her locker as I was leaving the establishment. PS. I should have led with this but the crazy bites are only edible after the purchase of crazy sauce which is almost half the price point as the crazy bites why they would make a pizza product without any sauce or accompanied by a fluid or beverage of any sort making product swallowable boggles the mind. So crazy bites+sauce=decent & edible product.

Love the bang for the bucks but I noticed with this location they ALMOST ALWAYS never have Anything ready. For example they will have only one pepperoni and no bread sticks or one cheese n that’s it! I come once or twice a week! I don’t mind waiting but no I hear the ladies. I guess it’s cool that they make it fresh but isn’t there slogan hot n ready.
I ordered an extra most bestest 02/26/2020 and there was little to no cheese on the pizza. I had more cold marinara sauce then cheese. The dough was not fully cooked through. There was bare minimum pepperoni as well. This is not the first time my pizzas have turned out in this condition. And im not the only person I've met who has said the same thing.
They don't get your pizza right. It has happened several times in person and even when I order on line. But I don't give up on Caesar sometimes my pizza is so great that I know they have a new chef and that's why I will try again.

There was a young boy about 18 years old at the cash register, I ordered a pizza, he was uninterested and sullen, he said it would be ready in 15 minutes, he prepared it in 5 minutes and left it openly behind and gave me my pizza 15 minutes later, I asked for a cold Pepsi, it was not in the fridge, he brought it from the warehouse and shook it a lot when he brought it, it was swollen and I opened it, I asked him to change it, he changed it, I insisted, he did not give the name, I will not eat pizza from here again
Yeah this place is the worst. Before moving here, I was pretty loyal to Little Caesars; but now I’ll just call Domino’s if I need something from a major pizza chain. First off, they try to force the app on you to the point where it’s hard to even call in an order. There’s no option for cash either on the app, just credit card. I had issues with the app so I called in the order… only to be told that they can’t take my order down over the phone and I need to come in. So I drove up to place an order… and they locked the doors a half hour before the store’s listed closing time. Simply stated, there are too many other pizza options out there to the point where people will only go here only for the affordability of the pizza.
I went to the location on 19th st and orderd a bestest pizza they said said 6 mins. I came back they gave my pizza to a coustomer who picked hers up right before me. The manager had me wait by now 20mins for another and they were blaming the coustomer when clearly its thier fault. Not ok.
Why this place is in business I'll have no idea. There is one person behind the counter and she's usually helping back in the kitchen after she takes your order. It's disgusting to see how they pay a manager to stand on one side of the store who says he's supervising while he sees his employees and people struggling in the kitchen to get orders out. They say they have pizza's ready for you to pick up that's a good one! They don't have things ready for you to just come in and pick up and then when I approached the manager I said how come there's no extra help here he says I'm a manager I don't have to help I supervise and I looked at him I said any let you get away with that? This place should be shut down and if you look them up online there is absolutely no human connectivity whatsoever. These people have no interest in talking to a human and they have no desire to let you talk to human from this Corporation Little Caesars you can stay little I will never go there again and nobody else should either. Go buy a frozen pizza from the supermarket it's a million times better!
Very bad experience. I ordered the pizza without tomato sauce, with extra cheese and extra pineapple, and they did not follow my order at all. There was no extra cheese and no extra pineapple, even though I paid for it. The cheese was completely dry and burnt. The pizza overall was very dry and tasted like it had been reheated. It was nothing like what I ordered. On top of that, the quality was terrible for the price they charge. I definitely do not recommend this place. If they cannot handle a basic order, they certainly cannot handle a customized one. Very disappointed.

You know its CREATE YOUR OWN pizza. I want a TRIPLE cheese pizza and I paid 1.75 ×3 for it but STILL (after supposedly they remade it) DID NOT get what I ordered. THE most irritating thing aside from the fact that the manager looks 15. I call and cant speak to him bc he's left for the night at 7pm on a thursday night! Guess it's a school night..
