we used to go to the santa monica location all the time, so happy they opened one up in OC! the food is phenomenal and tastes just as good as the other location. amazing halal burgers that are super juicy and flavorful. we got the oh so hot burger and southern bbq burgers as well as the buffalo mac and cheese fries which we recommend!

I had the super yummy, juicy, cooked to perfection, Truffle burger and I'm looking forward to going back again soon! I was there around 3:00pm, so there wasn't a wait, and there were plenty of tables. Most of the tables are outdoors. Very friendly service, too!

I was here fist tine and i really like it. Taste is amazing. This is also halal place. Stuff is very on time. Fries varieties must try because all of them has nice tasty flavor. Recommend this branch.

The food was absolutely delicious. I tried the Skillet Burger and it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and seasoned just right. The milkshake? The restaurant has a cool, laid-back vibe with great music and a clean, modern interior. Staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Excellent food. We ordered the brisket fries. Very crispy. Good portion of brisket. Crispy patty melt was huge. I could only eat 1/2 of a 1/2. Staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

Just tried the Oh So Hot Burger and Skillet Fries at Urban Skillet’s new location in Costa Mesa — and wow, what a treat! The burger had the perfect amount of heat, juicy and packed with flavor, and the skillet fries were crispy, seasoned just right, and super satisfying. The service was top-notch — friendly, fast, and welcoming from start to finish. The ambiance really stood out too: modern, clean, and with a chill vibe that made the whole experience even better. So glad they opened in Costa Mesa! I’ll definitely be coming back.

This place is a must-visit if you love burgers and hot dogs. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, with fresh toppings and soft, tasty buns that pull everything together. You can really tell they care about quality. The hot dogs are just as good—perfectly grilled with great flavor and generous toppings. Whether you like classic or loaded-style hot dogs, there’s something here that hits the spot. I personally like the Z Dogs which is full loaded. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and fast, even when it’s busy. Portions are satisfying, and the food comes out hot and fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend this place to anyone craving a great burger or hot dog.

I came to Costa Mesa to run some errands and quickly Googled some halal places. Urban Skillet popped up, so I decided to stop by for dine-in. The place is quite small, but I really love how clean and cozy it is. They even have some outdoor seating. The moment I saw the servers, I wondered if this was a family-owned restaurant, they were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Chicken Skillet, some BBQ wings, fries, and a drink. The Chicken Skillet was a bit pricey, but the taste was absolutely superb. You can really taste the juiciness and flavors, you’ll forget how much you spent once you start eating! The BBQ wings and fries were also great. The food, especially the burgers, was so good we even had to take some home. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others. Superb food, superb service, great staff, keep it up! The only sad part is, I rarely go far north. You all need to come a bit south, maybe open a branch around San Diego or Dana Point!

Excellent burger! I tried the one with beef beacon and mushrooms. It was cooked to perfection! Server was super polite and made great suggestion as per what I was looking for. They have limited seating arrangements so if you are going with a big group then you will have to spread out to accommodate everyone. Overall it was a great find and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a halal burger!

Wow. The burger was better than we imagined. Buffalo Chicken Fries were 10/10. There’s so many options on the menu it was hard for us to decide. Thankfully the cashier was very helpful in guiding us towards the perfect meal. We really enjoyed the ambience. Service was swift as well. I’ll be bringing my friends here as this is our new favorite Burger spot in Costa Mesa!

Loved the honey milkshake they have! I believe it even has actual pieces of honeycomb in it. Also was very impressed with the truffle burger. Will definitely be returning again!

Good burger and fries, I will say the meat on the burger tastes better than it looks, the onions were cooked nicely too. The fries were crispy and the sauce and cheese were a nice addition that didn’t detract from the fries.

Stopped by after a friend highly recommended it, saying it was the best burger ever, so we decided to try it together. All burgers come as doubles, and based on the photos come out quite large. I asked if it was possible to order a single patty & the cashier was able to accommodate my request. There is also a self service kiosk if you want to order that way. Fries are not included so be sure to add it separately. I opted for tater tots, but it had to be special ordered because the menu only listed specialty items. While waiting for the food, I noticed the cashier repeatedly applying her makeup & plucking her brows at the register. When the food was ready she brought it out to our table. Unfortunately it made me feel uncomfortable and disgusted, as personal grooming especially before handling food is highly inappropriate. The unprofessional and inappropriate behavior at the register overshadowed what could've been an enjoyable experience.
