Matthew was a GREAT server!!! My son's 21st bday could not have been better. We will definitely be back soon.
great experience! first time visitor. beer was delicious (espresso escape brown ale)! food was amazing (bison burger)! staff was over the top and genuinely friendly! basically a full servie joint. fantastic and roomy w/great vibe! we will definitely we working this into our brewery rotation :-)
Great atmosphere! Love the setting and details to theme. Super friendly responsive Staff and service. Great food and beer!! As a family with a young child, appreciate the family changing room. Great for family as well as couples, girls or guys outing. We will return for sure.
I've been here before but had to review finally because of exceptional service from Tony. My husband mentioned in passing that he has been wanting to try the s'mores beer but they have always been out of stock. They restocked it in the middle of our dinner and Tony ran over to let us know it was available and asked if wanted to finally try it. Thanks for looking out Tony, we loved it 👊
Came here for the first time over the weekend for a party in a rented private area. The food was delicious and plentiful, especially the potato rings! The drinks were also fantastic, and we were able to move to the campground area after the rental area closed and I loved the outdoor space and picnic tables. Great space for parties, families, or friendly hangs. Neighborhood parking was easy and there was still plenty of street parking nearby on a Saturday night. Looking forward to next time!
As new parents we were looking for a place for our first outing w our new born. A place that was stroller friendly , dog friendly and had plenty of outdoor seating so we wouldn’t bother anyone if our baby started crying. We were so happy that this place not only had all of this but also had super easy QR code table ordering (we were worried one of us would have to stand at a busy bar to order). This helped us order fast and eat fast as the countdown started for us before our baby would wake up haha. The outdoor seating was so nice and had plenty of shaded options. I also appreciate how the music isn’t club music but super chill and not blasting so you can actually talk to people. The burger we got was very good and for the first time my wife and I were able to enjoy a beer in the sun together. Our baby enjoyed the breeze and staring at the many trees back there. First family outing was a success thanks to this place. Will definitely be going back w our friends and this will be our new family spot for sure .
I truly love this place. Great atmosphere family friendly and great food...yum..! Featuring unique and flavorful tasting beer. If you haven't already tried Campsite Brewing you should.... Looking for a place to host a private party check out their party room which offers a great space, outside patio area and its own bar.
Amazing attention to detail. Got food with friends to share and everything was impressively delicious (crispy Brussels sprouts, corn bread, flatbread, and chili cheese fries). Ambiance is incredible - outdoor seating by “fire” pits, patio seating, and indoor options. Love the decor and had solid service. Very family friendly. Oh! And the beer was SOLID. Tons of options and of my flight, I was a fan of each one. Saw a lot of 1 star reviews about the 18% automatic gratuity applied - what I would have tipped anyways, so nothing negative from me for that. They don’t ask you for an additional 18% tip at the end, so they’re upfront about the tipping situation.
Beautiful brewery, has an upstairs inside open brewery and then downstairs is campsite like atmosphere with lots of tables and kind of fake campfires. Lots of dirt but lots of kids having a great time which is what I needed so I could bring my kiddos and have a drink. Loved it. Will be back! Food was incredibly delicious as well
What a PERFECT vibe, easily one of the best places to eat outdoors in LA. Campsite has an extensive beer selection and the food is great, the burger was one of the best I've had in a while and the fries are perfect. It really does evoke camping in the most enjoyable way! We will definitely be back. To the reviewers who have a problem with the 18% gratuity added to bills: it's 2023 and that's really the minimum acceptable tip these days anyway. If you're feeling like a jerk and don't want to help service industry workers make a living wage, they have a very clear sign next to the registers that says you can ask for it to be removed.
My Doggie was so happy she won be pie eating contest. I think she wished the pies were bigger ...lol..One pic , she s eyeing competition. What a great idea to have this event at s brewery. By the way she likes and drank beer too! It s all good!!!!
We have been to Campsite many times since it’s opening. We’ve always enjoyed the beer, the atmosphere and the food! Employees are friendly. I really appreciate that the owners have different fun activities for families throughout the year as well. Looking forward to going again soon!
Went Last night for the 1st time & I literally want to go back today (on my Bday) and sit by myself and really soak it all in again. Super chill place. Great variety of Beers, IPA's & more. IDK much about beers. I usually would pop a Modelo 😫 However; I ordered the Berry Sour one (its RED-ish). I forgot the name, but GOODNESS GRACIOUS.... It was more than perfect!! I had 2 of those Bad Boys. **I also had the Chicken Sandwich & Wow!! I was only able to eat half, because of the big portions served. I'm a foodie, so I saved it and ate it this morning!! The flavors, quality and cleanliness of the food, eating utensils, etc, as well as their GENEROUS & WARM CUSTOMER SERVICE is Top Tier. I will definitely be back tonight most likely. Last night I was there w/ friends and we were the last ones to leave. They were so nice even when they were closing. Their patience and cordially is what tops the whole experience. Eating good quality food, sipping good Brew on a campsite Establishment is the perfect way to Unwind and feel outdoors without being in the Wilderness.
Campsite is a must-visit! The hot chicken sandwich and shrimp tacos were both incredible. We tried a variety of beers which were all amazing (the Honu IPA was both my husband and I's favorite). The staff was also super friendly. 10/10!
I recently went for the second time, for Happy Hour. When I looked at the reviews, I was surprised the reviews were not higher in rating. I have gone twice and the atmosphere alone is worth it. They were somehow able to create a little piece of the woods, in an urban, industrial part of Covina. The food is decent, compared to other breweries/restaurants I have been to. I particularly enjoyed a passion fruit seltzer they have, and the service was good. I would recommend it if you enjoy a woodsy, cabin-like aesthetic.
Love this place so much. The beer and food never fail to be delicious. Today we sat in the "shed" area for the first time. Jose & Josh were our servers and they were great. Even though it was a busy night, they were friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back!
The food is surprisingly excellent. There is a large selection of beer to suit individual beer tastes. The one I picked I could drink all day long. The staff was friendly and helpful. It literally had no downsides. If I lived closer this would definitely be my local.
Bison burger is the best! So good, must try. The environment is very state-park & campy making it a cute spot to hang out. I have a 3 year old that LOVES the little table and benches provided for him. Beer and seltzers I’ve tried are great- Pilsner, pale ale, session ipa and their seltzer. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you’re a camping person & need a quick fix in between camping trips.
Just swung in quickly for a flight on our way to the airport and quickly fell in love with the atmosphere. My husband said it’s by far his favorite brewery lookswise and that says a lot coming from Washington. The beer was perfect, highly recommend the grapefruit ipa and peach rings sour! Also did a taster of the smores stout and that SO yummy as well. Service was wonderful from both the bartender and our waitress. Forgot we were even in the city while there. Next time we’re for sure trying the food as it all looked amazing. Also grabbed some merch which the materials were so soft and high quality. Highly recommend!
Wow, this is a great Brewery. Customer Service by everyone was excellent! Food and Beer delicious, atmosphere was amazing! Felt as if we were in the mountains! Beautiful trees and Firepits added great ambiance. Music played at just the right level. We could still talk to each other at our table! Overall, this was an amazing experience. We can't wait to go back! 🙌 🍺🌲🔥👏♥️
Great local place with a campsite vibe. I think it's been open for only a few years but they have tons of beer selections and great food too. It's great for groups to have a "campsite" outside where you can have a smokeless campfire to stay warm while you sample all their beers! Night group get together are really where this place shines but you can also stay inside as a regular bar with excellent ambiance. The food is always hot and fresh, amazing taste to complement the beer selection. I posted a picture and video of their beer menu and they have a lot of good IPAs. The theme of this place fits very well with a campers hideout, and since I'm an outdoors person I really enjoyed my visit. They have a lot of nice shirts and sweatshirts that you can buy too! The service is amazing here and the bartenders give really good recommendations like a flight where you can pick 4 different beers. I would definitely check this place out, it's kind of hidden on a back street but you can find it. Also almost forgot to mention that they have level 2 ev chargers here to charge your ev while you eat here. Be sure to check out Campsite Brewery Company for a quick drink, or a full meal! And don't forget to like this post if you found it helpful!! Cheers! And happy camping!!
Very good beers and food, great ambience, kid friendly, and the staff was pleasant. I came on a Saturday evening (6pm) and there was a line to get in. My sense of time probably isn’t great, but I’d estimate having waited 20-30 minutes. Once inside, the rest of the night was very smooth as far as ordering and waiting for food and drinks. There’s a line for beer only, and one for food and beer, but both moved very quickly. There’s an automatic 18% gratuity, but, according to their website, this 100% goes to the servers and cooking staff; I also generally tip this amount or more anyway, so no sweat off my back. I lean in on hazy IPAs when I go to breweries, and theirs, the Honu, was very tasty and in line with what I’d normally like in one. I migrated to the brown ale they have, the Espresso Escape, and found it to be very delicious. I stuck with that the rest of the night, but was able to try a few other beers a la the flight of beers my buddy got. Played it safe with food and went with the brat and a size of garlic parm fries. The onion and sweet peppers made the brat pop. The yellow peppers (like you get at In N Out) we’re spicyyy! But, I’m not huge on spicy to begin with so maybe I’m not suited for them. I was in the bar area pretty much the entire time. Made an attempt to find seating outside to no avail. Mind you, it was very busy. There’s a lot of open type seating outside, like benches and a circular stone wall. I saw corn hole and fire pits. I’ll have to catch it either earlier in the day or during a weekday to experience I suppose. All in all, a wonderful place and people, fantastic food and drink, and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Beautiful forest oasis in the middle of Covina! The food is amazing and would keep me coming back but the beer is absolutely fantastic!! The staff was friendly and helpful and the outdoor area provides plenty of shade and space to enjoy the outdoors, even in the heat. Can’t wait to go back!!
Incredibly cozy and unique brewery for the area, feels like I'm right in Yosemite and really can't believe we're just in Covina! Food was excellent, beers were great, and the merch is high quality. For those so concerned about the 18% service fee, grow up 🤗 You can ask them to remove the included fee if it bothers you that much. Everyone says "we support local business" until it comes time to pay. SUPPORT LOCAL, VISIT CAMPSITE BREWING 🏕️🍻 UPDATE: please put less ice in the Arnold Palmer :( I get 3 sips in before the glass is empty :(((
Food in picture : Smash burger with garlic fries and Yoshis Island drink. This place is amazing the staff is super helpful and answered all my questions about the beer that they have here. I came here for the Smash Tournament they host every Monday and decided to get food, it’s super delicious and not at all expensive. Great place! Highly recommended ! Family friendly !
So excited we discovered this place! The owners obviously spared no expense in either the decor or the beer selection or the food! Even the bathrooms are impeccable. My husband and I and friends have been three times so far. Every time the staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. Definitely try the sausage sandwiches. And the cornbread oh my God the cornbread! This will be a new favorite for sure.
Had an amazing time here with my friends and fam! Great environment, great food, great service. Our server Will made sure we were taken care of. The way he described the menu made me want it all! We tried a variety of dishes and none of them disappointed. Will brought out some games for the kids. He brought our food and drinks out promptly. And made sure we had a great time. Thank Will! We’ll be back soon!
Place is out of my way on my brewery list but finally made the drive here early in the day! The location is super nice, makes you feel you are in the woods camping but with great beer and food and no bear attacks haha. Dog friendly on the outside only fyi and plenty of parking. They have fire pits and a great beer/food selection too.
First time to this place and wow I cannot say enough good things. Kept seeing photos and it looked amazing. But it is so much better in person. We were there on a Wednesday and there was live trivia, there’s outdoor games also, and behind the bar there were tons of board games you could ask for to play while you’re there. We ordered food and drinks and stayed for more than 2 hours. The drinks and food are a little pricey but well worth it. Very large portions and extremely fresh and delicious. I will definitely return, and have not stopped recommending this location.
Came for dinner with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we are so happy we did! Our first time visiting Campsite and we were blown away by everything here. The staff were so friendly and hospitable. Our food was delicious; I really liked the pub burger and my husband said his fish tacos were great. We both LOVED the Mexican lager! We ended the night chatting up the bartenders while we enjoyed beer tastings. What a fun time! We will definitely return soon to enjoy happy hour on the patio.
Such a fantastic brewery with unique beers, great food, and wonderful service. Let's not forget the theme of the place that feels like you stepped into the great outdoors. The people nitpicking about this place in other reviews are just looking for something to complain about. This place gets busy, so of course, things are going to happen. I feel their team does a great job and I've been coming here since a little after they opened. The Sabor Del Sol is an excellent Mexican lager that is so refreshing, and I'm a huge fan of the Fireside S'mores stout. Their fries are perfect and their burgers and grilled sausages have always been a hit when I order. You get a solid portion, and they even have a kids menu! But if you're coming in a group of 4+, be mindful that this place gets busy and it my be hard to find a place to sit, even with the plentiful seating. I do wish they stayed open another hour, but I understand wanting to send people home at a reasonable time.
The vibes are great! Chill outdoor and indoor! Great menu options with great dessert. Plant to park on the street, not too much parking on the premises.
This brewery is very sharply done. Someone put in a little time thinking of the decor. It's really nice how they utilize the old building. This is a big place. Got plenty of room, Large long benches so plenty of people could sit at the tables. Perfect for groups . It has high ceilings and outdoor seating that showcase the old packing structure, and architecture. as we were leaving, I learned that they actually have marshmallows that you can cook out on the fire pits in the outdoors so you can bring children I guess. I was really impressed what the some of their offerings for food. We had some cornbread , chili, grilled cheese, french fries and plenty of beers. Well I had the inbox with me so you could understand why we had so much beer. My father-in-law got the sampler he liked it. Enjoyed it. He got a couple that he really liked him one or two that he didn't its to be expected. It was all very good and service was quick. Not a hint of attitude with the staff. They couldn't be any friendlier or helpful. Although we did show up on a Friday afternoon. So the place wasn't jumping or packed. A they have a lot of little signs all around the place that that mimics you being on a hiking trail and that was kind of fun. The train did go by and that sucker is loud. I don't know how they put up with it. That's too loud. But overall my family and I had a good experience. Food was good. Drink was fine. Maybe one day they let us bring our dogs then it would be a true campsite thank you.
The ambiance, the music, the service, the food and the beer are all top notch! I had the bison burger with fries, and then saw someone who had the cornbread and needed to order that for myself as well - all of it was delicious! I had the Covina Citrus and my friend had the double hazy IPA - both were super smooth and great tasting. Everyone wants to complain about the 18% service fee, but for great food, service and beer, I have zero issues with that!! Whenever I'm in town, I'll definitely be back! Oh, and it's dog friendly which is great!
Amigas took over! We had a great waiter, very attentive to the arrival of each one to make sure we always had a drink. Great place to hang out and have fun, good music! I enjoyed my drinks but my tacos I feel were missing something... I tried to add sauce but it didn't "fix" what was missing. However will come again... The parking is difficult very limited always arrive sooner to get a good parking
Just happened to show up on the night they had some new specials! The ceviche had big chunks of shrimp, onion, red pepper, and avocado... lovely and balanced between citrus and spice. The shrimp burger... THE SHRIMP BURGER... held together beautifully also with big chunks of shrimp... pickled red onion and I believe a honey sriracha sauce. A great pairing with their Vinho Verde white wine, it really brings the fusion of all the flavors together. I also got the roasted red belle pepper hummus, it came with a good portion of veggies and flatbread to enjoy it with. Really nice texture and flavor. Chefs kiss Campsite.... Chef's kiss.
Came on a Thurs evening around 7pm. Beautiful atmosphere with live music. Not crowded when arrived. Convenient parking and street parking. Family and pet friendly.
Visited twice in 3 days, once on Thursday evening and once on Saturday afternoon around 2. Very impressed with the beer choices, both IPAs and Ales. We enjoyed the food immensely. ..burger and chili fries and especially the shrimp tacos and the Curry pie. Loved the cheese plate because they included such quality ingredients even though it was presented plainly. The food and beer complemented each other exceptionally well. As others have mentioned, the ambiance is unusually pleasant. I can imagine it will be so fun to come in the cooler weather to enjoy the campfires and outdoor activities. I don't understand why people object to the 18% tip. It's great that the kitchen staff get a share and most of us tend to add about that amount anyway.

I brought my family of 17 here for mother's day brunch and it was perfect! The service was fast, food quality was great, and our tables were all next to one another. Such a great experience. We will be back for our next big family outing. Thanks Campsite Brewing!
Super cool vibe with great beer and food! Very well thought out space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Unique beer and seltzer flavors. Seasonal frozen drinks and desserts. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Perfect spot for a large group and even dog friendly in the outdoor spaces. Small parking lot but plenty of street parking.
Absolutely in love with Campsite! Found out about this brewery through a friend. They are very accommodating, and even called ahead of my event to see if we needed anything else. This saved me as I had forgotten to update my reservation for a larger group. They made splitting costs easy by allowing us all to open individual tabs. The only downside is the parking situation as it’s small and can be difficult to find parking.

Came for trivia on a Wednesday around 7pm. Indoor seating was nearly full for trivia. The parking lot was full so we parked on the street and walked a short distance. Liked: Cabin/outdoors aesthetic, tasty food & beer, happy hour pricing. The staff were polite and helpful. Disliked: If they have A/C it did not seem to be functioning properly in the main room on an 85F day, it was uncomfortably warm in the main room. Website/QR that you are supposed to order from could not process any payments, so we had to flag down an employee to place an order. Assuming these are just temporary issues, I would come back again.
From the moment we walked in, the team at Campsite made us feel like family. We were there to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and from the host to the bartender, everyone went out of their way to make it special. In a time when the service industry often forgets the human side of hospitality, Campsite stands out. It felt like stepping into a warm, welcoming summer camp, especially thanks to Jose and Josh. Jose’s joy is contagious; his kindness and genuine care for each guest shine from across the room. The vibe, the people, and that unforgettable s’mores ice cream made the night feel magical. We didn’t just have a great meal we made memories. Can’t wait to go back and reconnect with the incredible team.
***Revisited at Christmas*** (see below) Checked this place out on a Wednesday evening @6pm. The location is in an industrial/ residential area. The metro is only a few feet away . Parking is extremely limited! You seat yourself. We walked around inside. Nothing available then outside. We saw an empty table but it was directly in the sun's path. The rest of the tables were occupied. There were group seating areas around a fire pit. We sat there until we saw an open table (about 15 min) That gave us time to figure out how everything was set up. To order drinks and food, you need to go inside. There are two lines. One for drinks only and the other for drinks and food. If you're in the drink only line you pay the cashier, you step aside and wait for your name to be called (it was less than a minute) If you're in the line for a drink and food, you pay, same as above to receive your drink. For your food order, you will be given a number to take back to your table. If you want to order another drink or food, you go back in line. The food arrived quickly, we ordered appetizers. We were all hungry so everything tasted good. We were able to figure out (only because we were seated directly next to it) an area located right next to the restrooms, is where you help yourself to napkins, silverware, plates, cups, and water. When ordering I asked the cashier if they took reservations. The response.... no, not at this time but they are looking into it. They did take reservations for Father's Day only. I also ask about the 18% automatic added fee. The response, it is policy to ensure all of the employees will receive tips equally. I thought about this afterwards, after experiencing seating myself, standing in line to order, getting my napkins, silverware and water, etc... even though the place was packed. There is an area where you can purchase Campsite merchandise, Tee-shirts, cups.. It was a celebration for my birthday with a couple of my girlfriends so I'm glad I went. It was somewhere new, different and close by. The atmosphere is unique. I noticed they allowed dogs and I saw families sitting outside. ***Revisited around Christmas. I noticed a few changes. They decorated for the holidays. There is a bar code to scan at the tables to order.
I've been to Campsite 3 times now and after reading some critiques here (albeit some weird ones) I feel my review is ready and I hope you find it helpful. I'll get the food out of the way first because I haven't found anything I love yet besides the fries. A brewery is no small investment, and neither is a quality kitchen and food. Before opening they were offering positions for chefs, so maybe there's some experience lacking, but I want to see them step up on the flavor (had the bison burger with garlic fries, chili cheese fries and mini corn dogs). Their table service is top notch, however. As for the beer, everything I've had is great, with some amazing offerings like the PCH IPA and their Campgrounds brown ale although not a big fan of Hyperion double IPA. I've spoken with the head brewer and they're hard at work making beer. Everyone wanted them to open already, so don't think too hard about why they haven't filled all their taps yet. Their goal is to. Lastly, in the 3 times I've been my friends never complained about their drinks being warm, so I wouldn't believe that if I read it. Yes, wait times can get long, but any good business will be during their busiest times. There's still a lot of hype which may or may not die down, but take the time to talk to people! And yes, the forced gratuity is unheard of in breweries and it's the first time I've seen it, but if you've made it this far I'll let you in on a secret... Their system has a rewards program built in 🤫🍻
Came here on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. My friend reserved tables outside. I loved the camping like seating, even though I'm a self proclaimed non-campee type haha. I went inside the bar area to check out the drinks and liked there were board games to pick out. You can also order by QR code at your seats both inside and out. Drinks ordered: Peach Ring, Boysenberry Blast, Sangre Para Vampiro (limited time), and Blood Orange Covina Citrus (limited time). Food: Pig and Patch flatbread (limited time). My favorite drinks are Peach Ring and Vampiro. I really enjoyed the flatbread too! I was pleasantly surprised how big it was and the thicker bacon slices was a plus for me. I'd love to come back to try other drinks and maybe other limited time drinks. I'll find an excuse to stop by there with my next IKEA adventure :)
Came by for a few beers on a Friday. There was a good about of available seating which was nice because it was busy. The space really does create an ambiance where you feel like you’re not in the Covina area but up in the mountains or camping which is super fun! It lives up to the name for sure. They are definitely kid friendly, lots of family’s and groups. They are pet friendly as well. It makes it easy for groups to split checks and order straight to your table without having to go to the bar. Definitely will be coming back.
Beautiful brewary. Feels like you are in Colorado, middle of the woods ready to see a bear 🐻 protip just find a seat and order from your seat via your phone. The line at the bar was huge, just find a seat and they'll bring it to you (when you scan the code and order on your phone). You can see this facility had a lot of money poured into it, and the vibes have been achieved, that being said it is a bit more ($$) than any other brewary. It is family friendly and the lil kid benches were so cute! Looks like they host plenty of fun events worth checking out but they are not often open past 9pm. Although it is a family friendly facility the restrooms I came across were not wheelchair/stroller accessible nor did they have a changing station. The Mexican lager was delicious. Beautiful location worth checking out.
Had a pretty good selection of beer. Didn't try the food but it looked good. I would say the biggest pros this brewery has is obviously the atmosphere and feel. The IPAs were good but nothing really memorable. The chocolate smores porter was really good. I would definitely go here again
Here all the time. Almost always a 5. Today hopefully was an anomaly because the service was great but the food was off this time. Chicken sandwich was burnt, kids Mac was super salty. Fries was perfect!!! They even had sweet pickles in the smash burgers. Don’t remember that and it kinda ruined the flavor.
This was a fun vibe. The food was better than anticipated. I tried the chili cheese fries, hash brown rings, and anchiote grilled chicken sandwich....all of which were really good. The hash brown rings are an A+. Didn't have any beers, but had a seltzer that was really refreshing. It was a watermelon kiwi seller thats really worth the try. Service was so so...our server was great when she was around..I cant say we lacked for anything, but there was a push to order at the beginning and then it was sporadic. All in all it was a good time and I'd definitely go back.
Interesting and inviting venue. Good food and beer. Table QR code order/pay system is easy but you pay and tip when you order. Table servers only serve and never check back. Patrons must get their own water and condiments from a central location. This system begs the question of really how much tip to leave.
It was our first time at Campsite Brewing. I must say, it was a fun experience. The whole campsite vibe brings a nice and relaxing environment. The beers that we enjoyed were a Mexican lager and American wheat. They did not disappoint. A couple of drawbacks were limited parking lot and lines to get food, and beer can get long. Overall, it was a good time!
Second time here. Good vibes, good food, great beer flights. Recommend to sit outside when the weather is nice. Happy hour 5-7pm is $2 off beer
We have had this brewery on our list to visit for some time now. Glad we came, it’s definitely a charming place. Parking can be tricky but we were lucky to find a spot in the parking lot adjacent to the brewery. The front desk people were very warm and hospitable. We were also lucky to get a table right away since there were just the two of us. Larger parties had a wait. You’re told to scan the QR code on the table and order there but a server came to ask me to cancel the online order and order through them…ok…just make up your mind about the ordering. Started with a beer flight and learned that one of the beers we wanted wA sold out…bummer…ok we tried something else and it was fine. We definitely must come back to try other beers. The burger was an 8/10, and the hot chicken sandwich was a 7/10. The atmosphere outside was super chill. We will come back and hopefully it’ll be soon!
Some portions on food seems a bit small -beer is nice and cold —Staff was great wish we knew their names don’t remember if they introduced themselves
Taste : 4.0/5 Environment: 4.6/5 Service:4.3/5 This place sounds awesome! A chill campsite vibe with house-made beer? Count me in! 🍻 Love that they brew their own beer and even have some merch to check out. Definitely seems like the perfect spot to hang out with friends and relax for a laid-back evening. Staffs are friendly but look like a bit short hand

Meant to post this review sooner but I needed a minute to compose my thoughts. I came to Campfire with a few friends about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago. The place was nice and clean, the food was good, but the service was subpar. Someone named pert or phert something along those lines was helping us and they were extremely rude and inattentive. I assume we aren’t the only ones who felt that way because the way she speaks to other employees dumbfounded me too. You should speak to people the way you would like to be spoken to, if you want to BARK at people, go ahead and take your resume to Dick’s Last Resort although im not even sure THEY would take you in.
Ordered the bison burger medium rare, it came out well done and tasting like a meatloaf. It was kind of a waste of having a $20 burger. You order from a qr code which is fine but it applies a mandatory 18% service fee and then a 2% or 4% tip. It was very cold in there, even with a jacket on. The pretzels with cheese were fine. The fries were good and so was the smoked ketchup. I liked my beer a lot. I would not go back, but if I did, I would just go for the beer and not the food. It's worth stopping by if you're just going for beer
Ok experience at Campsite Brewing Company. Big plus is pet friendly with a lot of outside seating. They did a nice job of designing and building to make it feel you are up in the foothills. They do a good job on their website about disclosing the 18% Service Charge. On the receipt they then give you the option of an additional 2% or 4% as a Tip. Since you are doing everything (ordering and paying)on line through the QR code with the only interaction with the staff is bringing the order to the table the Service Charge seems a little high. We had beers, Campsite Fries and SPICED CHICHARRONES. Both were tasty, the charred green chili dipping sauce with the chicharrones was very good. We had the Summit Blonde beer which I liked, crisp / refreshing. They had a band on the Sunday we were there. Always nice to have live music to listen to. Not much parking for the size of the place. We were able to snag a spot in the parking lot but when we left no spaces available only neighbor street parking.
At least the hostess told me at the door, about the $20 charge for bringing in cupcakes, but I had never encountered a charge for that, ever. It wasn't a cake that I needed to have served, nor did I need plates/forks. The food was very tasty, good portions. Servers were friendly and checked on us regularly but we did have to ask for several things like a fork/napkin set because we didnt have enough, a knife when my food was brought out, way after everyone's food was out, but one of us had to get up and go to get it, more water, etc.
My buddy and I stopped by this establishment for a pint in July '23. Our first notions were encouraging, it's definitely hidden seeing as I've lived in Covina forever and am barely visiting. We found the layout to be interesting and unique in a good way. The ambiance was also lively. However things started to go downhill as soon as we hit the line. There was one employee handling both lines of guests, there seemed to be plenty of staff running around and no help? After about 15 minutes waiting in line we were finally helped and placed our pint orders which came out remarkably quick. The hazy IPA I chose was actually very well concocted and I enjoyed it. However, an automatic up charge for every beer and food menu item.. come on now. Yes, again the beer was good but $22 for two pints? Sorry campsite brewing I call foul on that one. I think I'll continue to take my greenbacks to Arrow Lodge Brewing right up the road.
Order from a QR code, which works for the younger generation and streamlines service. Automatic 18% gratuity. Beers are decent. Limited brunch menu when I went (mainly breakfast). Ordered the burger medium, which came out well done and dry. Fries were good. VERY limited parking available on site. Most have to find parking in the neighborhood, which can be tricky even when the venue is half full.
Overall it was good but they’re definitely working out some kinks. Got there and there’s only 25 parking spaces. We had to park 3 blocks up the street past a sketchy mobile home park. Got to the line (yes line to get in) and there’s security guards at each of the entrances. While in line, the manager or owner came out and said they ran out of food and that they’re closed. It was 9:30pm and they were supposed to close at midnight. Some people left but we said we just want beer and they let us in. They admitted that they were unprepared and did not anticipate that large of an attendance despite it being a holiday weekend. There was 200+ in there. Something with their beer license prevents them from selling more than one beer to a person. PLEASE NOTE: There’s an automatic 18% service charge for every transaction and then they still ask for a tip. 2 beers was $18 without a tip. The beers were good. You stand in line to order beer and food, wait by the bar to get handed your beer served by name, and food is dropped off at your table. Not much of a service. Beer and food are good but that 18% charge throws you off 😭. The ambiance is 10/10. Woodsy, fire pits, real evergreens and games. This place is absolutely huge. There’s a main hall to order beer and food and they have a smaller taproom to the side. If you go there soon expect some hiccups. If you want to try the food, obviously go early and buckle up for that 18% service charge. Last call for beer happened at around 10ish. We left at 10:30pm. They were having a staff meeting/debriefing. Hopefully they work it out because all the staff including the servers and cooks looked stressed. Give them a few months and they should be working more efficiently.
Beer is good, food is overpriced but fine for a bar food. They make you tip beforehand which feels awkward and service is of middle of the road. athe ambiance an design language of the space is great.
The brewery is absolutely beautiful and so well done. However, they aren’t ready for prime time yet. The line to get in was ridiculously long, which says more about the popularity than their process, so that’s fine. But once you’re in, it’s a battle for a table and another very long line to get anything ordered. Several core items on the menu were out of stock entirely and the food arrived cold after about 40 minutes. The curry pot pie has great flavor but was barely heated to lukewarm. The beer was excellent and I’m excited to try more next time. We will visit again in a few months after they get a handle on the operation, and I’m hoping a better review will be in store. Campsite has the opportunity to be a truly amazing and relaxing brewery destination, but going right now is more stressful and frustrating than anything.
A friend recommended this place to me. Super cool vibe. Food was great, but service was lacking. They did have two big birthday parties going on and they said they had some employees who had called in sick. Will give them the benefit of the doubt and will return. Venue is great looking. Lots of seating. Indoor outdoor and even a large room for private parties. Definitely doesn’t feel like you’re in Covina. They did a great job designing and landscaping.
They have done a great job with the layout and ambiance of this place. A very cool vibe with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Fire pits and great little group areas. I had the honey blonde beer and it was excellent. They only had 5 beers on tap for their soft opening, which is fine. They have a beautiful, large brewing area, so many great beers are yet to come. There is room for improvement in the way you get your beer. You order at the cash register and then you have to stand and wait, until your beer is poured and they call your name. It was awkward to stand there and wait while those ahead of you are called, trying to hear above the noise of the crowd and the sound system. Here is why I can only give 3 stars… there is an 18% “service fee” added to your check. Not cool. Then you are given the tip option. I’ve NEVER seen this at a brewery. For the first time ever, I hit the “no tip” option because of this fee. Due to this mandatory, added fee (regardless of service) I will choose to go elsewhere.

First timer. Atmosphere was top notch, literally felt I was at a campsite in the mountains. There was plenty of seating with or without the campfire. The taquitos were delicious and would get again. Ordered the sour peach beer, delicious. Able to order from your table using the app, awesome! Saw kids running around which was cool to see. Seemed very family friendly. Wish they had more games for people to play with. The guy serving the beer seemed he was having a tough day. We didn’t feel welcomed, almost felt like we were a bothersome to him. First impressions matter and I was hoping for a friendlier vibe. They were out of like 4-5 beers that night! Prices for food was overpriced…$9 for only two taquitos or two sliders is ridiculous. I can understand three but not just two. For the campfire vibe, and a few beers I’ll be back but might take in a pizza for the fam :)

I've been to many breweries, and it was so strange to find that I had to reserve a seat, even for the outdoor seating area. Was not a fan of that, especially since there were so many, visible open seating areas. The staff constantly seemed like they were confused on who ordered what and what table does it belong to. We were approached multiple times with confused orders. I can tell lots of money went into this place, especially since it seems like they were charging pretty hefty prices for their items - $20 for a fried chicken sandwich. The meat was raw in the middle which I lost my appetite but at least they refunded me and remade my order. My experience would've been better if the outdoor seating was all open seating and the indoor was for folks that were looking to have food and drinks. The food was 'just ok' for the price. Beer was 'just ok' for the price.
Good spot especially for a big party. Went here for my 1st time and my order got mixed up. I got asked 3x what I ordered and waited 30 mins for it come out. I had the Bison burger and it was ok. However the outdoors is nice and really felt like a campsite. I'll give it another go.
Service is trash. You seat yourself Scan A QR code for the menu and pay up front *Pro-Tip: Do NOT tip up front because you'll likely be left to your own devices to secure water, condiments, place settings and any additional service. I'm surprised I didn't have to run into the kitchen to bring my food out to my table as well. Another nice touch is the "cool" parents who think it's a good idea to let their ill-behaved children run around the place like it's a free for all. No thanks.
Came here with our family of 6. Visually the environment is appealing, but the buck stops there…Parking is a mess. The service at this place is severely lacking. We tried ordering at the bar and they prompted us to order via the QR code. The system is janky at best and forces an automatic 18% gratuity. With the exception of one member, the staff was willfully ignorant to both our party and the party that was in front of us as we stood in front of the bar. The place was quite empty too around 4-5pm on a Wednesday so it’s not like there was an influx of patrons. 2 stars cause the fries were good and the one helpful staff member. Definitely will not be back anytime soon.
Some new owner/manager or outside consultant is completely screwing this place up. It's such a cool-designed spot, the food and beer and prices are great, but they think they are running a military base or something. Guys, it's a brewery. People want to hang out and have a good time not put on wristbands and get scolded and corralled like their in a jail or something. Never coming back. Cut the power-tripping our you'll be out of business inside of 18 months. What a waste.
We really really wanted to love this place, it’s only 3 minutes away from us BUT it left so much to be desired. AND to be fair we went back twice on different days to make sure it wasn’t a fluke and unfortunately it is definitely a 2 star place. The service, man the service was sooo bad here. I could honestly write a long epilogue on just that. To sum it up it seems they are understaffed by their (the staffs) frustration, their curt when speaking to you and the general pace and hurry it which you see them move everywhere. Service 0 stars. The food, the food wasn’t bad. It came out fresh and hot the menu is okay most of what you expect to have at a bar. We had the chili fries, the smores, chicharones and the bratwurst. Food 3.5 stars. The beer, we had 4 flights in total since we came twice and tried everything we could. I would say in each flight we found 1 beer we really loved and the others were ehh so at that rate we liked about 25% of the beer. Cold front ipa and the Mexican lager were top. But nothing like insanely delicious. Beer 3 stars. Overall 2.1 stars out 5. Again I HATE that it wasn’t what we expected since we love brewery’s and this one is literally in our backyard. Maybe we will come back in a year to see if they figured out the service thing. Other than that I would skip this for now doesn’t seem they have it right yet.
Drinks were good the brewery is beautiful but unfortunately me and friend got a burger and chilli fries to split and we got food poisoning
Campsite is exactly that; a campsite looking spot that serves beer and some food. On a Wednesday; it was dead. Be warned they open at 4PM and they will not start serving till exactly 4:01PM. Maybe it was my luck, but the staff decided to clean ALL of the beer serving pipes right before opening the doors to the public. (No bueno) I’ve never waited for a beer at the bar 17 minutes. It’s ridiculous! Why not clean up, organize, place, drain or whatever you have to do to prepare to serve the public at a different time that’s not gonna cost you sales decline by making people wait around so long for a beer? I had driven 15 minutes to check this place out for the very first time, so I waited 17 minutes for a beer. First impressions matter. They always have and always will. Campsite, YOU missed the mark. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon. I’ve been to soooo many breweries all around the country and I wasn’t that impressed. Not the greatest service. High prices. Not the biggest selection of beers. But I see the appeal; you look like a campsite, literally. I was the very first customer yesterday. I invited someone to meet me here and they drove from Long Beach. It was a bad first impression for the both of us. Luckily, your bathrooms were super clean. Good wings, good chicken and potato taquitos but Wowzers a flight for $17 with glasses that seem like tiny samplers is crazy, pricey. It was happy hour, but the flights are not included. I wish someone had told me this before ordering. (Poor service) I don’t know what’s happening but it seems like some breweries are just taking advantage of us who just want to enjoy a pint or two on any given day. For God’s sake it’s just beer……. But what do I know? Really…… Happy holidays!

Family here for lunch- no wait staff, all orders done via QR code app . Entire system crashed around 2pm. nobody in the whole restaurant could put order in. Family sitting around hungry, bartender said it's a tech support issue. Gimme a damn menu and a grilled cheese for the kids. Bread cheese bread. Real simple, but nobody in here could help. And the AUDACITY to ask for a tip when we go to pay via app?! Otherwise, it's a really cool brewery. Would be nice to eat food here.
Service was terrible. We sat inside and were confused as to what the next steps were because no waiter was in sight. There is a QR code in the middle of the table that says you can order and pay. You do that, and it asks for a tip before you've even seen a server. My wife went and asked if a server comes or if we have to order via the QR code. They said a server would eventually be by. We wait a while, and then somebody comes over to bus a nearby table, eventually looks over, asks if we have been waiting a while, we say yes, and then she comes and takes our order. We eventually get our food by another person quickly dropping it off and then saying that utensils and napkins are up front, on the other side of the building...... This was egregious. Our food can be brought to our table, but then we have to go walk across the building and get our own utensils and napkins? At $25-30 a person, this is a bit wild. The portions are small too for what you pay. Another server eventually comes by and asks if we want to order something. Communication between staff seems to be relatively non-existent here. I say I want to order a coffee. I order it and then she disappears. We finished our food...and were waiting on the coffee. Eventually it comes and I tell her we want the check. She asks if we are going to order dessert and I say no, just the check. She then said that we already paid via the QR code. And we were both confused because we hadn't, but she insisted, and then my wife explained the train of random people we had interacted with. The server then checks, and sees that we hadn't and thanks us for basically insisting that we still owed them. I am very tolerant of service. But, this was the worst service experience in memory. I will never be back or recommend this place.
