I’ve never been more satisfied with a restaurant before. Every bite was packed with flavor and well balanced! Not one flavor overwhelmed another. My sister ordered the caprese sandwich, we shared the ricotta cheese and strawberry Jam brioche French toast, and I ordered the Florentine Benedict. We were not disappointed
I love everything about this place. The food was outstanding. So much so im going back for breakfast this morning. Finally a restaurant in the area that serves healthier food that actually tastes amazing. Bravo!!!
Sharon she’s the best her services is amazing came yesterday my cousin brought me and today we came again with another family member . Oh and the food is delicious chilaquiles with egg and pork 🤤 smoked salmon bagel 🥯 my favorite definitely going to to keep coming back with family. Don’t forget to try the cafe de olla.
My friends and I were here for Saturday brunch around 1pm and it wasn't crowded. We were able to get a table on their patio (towards the front) and it was nice. I noticed that they have more tables in the back side of the patio. I got eggs florentine benny and it was delicious. The portion was quite big so it was definitely filling. 😊😋
Great food and service. Typically busy on weekend mornings but we got lucky and were seated immediately. Worth the wait either way! Salmon Benny, chilaquiles, steak and eggs are all good choices. Brown sugar latte is a top choice for coffee as well
I see far too many people eating their experiences down to a parking lot. HELLO PEOPLE YOU ARE EATING THE PARKING LOT. The kind people in this restaurant put many hours into finding fresh ingredients and creating not only healthy but delicious food. Matter of fact I'm on my way there now.
Beautiful spot! My boyfriend & I both ordered the Steak & Eggs & lattes. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this place. The aesthetics are so homie and cute and the owners are so genuine & friendly as well! I love going to a restaurant where the owners are working & present. Support your small local businesses!
Fun brunch spot with tasty dishes and friendly staff. The Dutch baby and chilaquiles stood out. A bit tight on parking, but worth it for a good meal.
It’s was Ddddeeeeelicious. I had the chilaquiles with a big cup of horchata coffee. It’s a clean family restaurant, came on a Saturday afternoon, indoor and outdoor seating are available. I will be back with my family 100%!!! Service was on point. 😍
This place is absolutely delicious.. had fresh orange juice and horchata, also the chorizo skillet and chilaquiles both amazing.. fresas con creme waffles they are not to sweet but they are good.... The atmosphere is beautiful.. however it is a very small place.. parking is not easy. Staff is very nice.
Family-oriented treasure of a restaurant. Wonderful service, lots of smiles and hearty conversation surrounds the visitor. Amazing coffee recommendation and food. Every second spent here is a second well spent. Can't wait to come back!
I love this place. I’ve been coming here for years! This time I had the fetta omelet! The horchata is sooooo good they make it fresh!
So delicious!!! Service was great, food was even better! Cute little hole in the wall cafe, definitely worth going! The inside was a little small and could be a little loud but overall fantastic place!!!
I would give 100 stars if they have. Very welcoming, super friendly family owned restaurant. Clean place with a lovely patio. I met Jorge the owner he is super gentle, Lauren as well, extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place to experience for yourself , you won't regret. Food is very delicious, I had an iced coffee that I wasn't expecting to see that cute bottle, delicious. Next time I'll will definitely have to try the baklava,. Highly recommend to anyone. Must try. I will definitely have to go again. And the price is very reasonable for the portion.
Discovered this place earlier in the week as I was looking for somewhere else, so we decided to check it out from breakfast. It did not disappoint as we were able to be seated right away and the dining area was pretty full. The food is reasonably priced and the menu has a nice breakfast selection. We ordered the chicken and waffles and smoked salmon toast.
This was like a solo Valentine's Brunch date (2/15) for me while my Jeep was getting oil change & alignment at the dealership. I am glad I gave this spot a try. I ordered a Hot Hazelnut Latte, Chilaquiles, pancakes, and side of sourdough bread. It was busy inside when I arrived but I chose to eat outside. I was able to get a table with some sun since it was a bit chilly. More people arrived, and I knew this spot was good, just seeing its popularity and the servers being friendly and providing genuine hospitality. I liked the portions, and the Chilaquiles sauce was flavorful. The pancakes were unique on the thinness. I liked the big mug for my Hazelnut Latte. I made sure to drink it all before I left. I hope to bring a friend next time. Thank you for the experience I received and the delicious food that is being made here. ❤️🫠😋
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Found this place online as we were stopping in Covina for something else and DEFINITELY do not regret the decision! Service was great, the coffee was as delicious as it was visually appealing, and the food was delightful! The French toast & waffles were both so flavorful, we didn't use any syrup. The fruit was all perfect! Only compliant, parking sucks. They have like 4 spaces and the rest are for the other businesses with signs that they'll tow if you park there for Sage. Has to park on the street a ways down, which I didn't love... but that's only so much in their control.
Sage Social Eatery is hands down the most underrated diner in the greater LA area! This delicious gem offers incredible food, including the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. The warm, welcoming vibe and kind, attentive staff make every visit a joy. I absolutely love the food, the cozy ambiance, and the loving atmosphere. Highly recommend this family run business to locals or those exploring LA and the surrounding area. Thank you so much!
I love this store, the staff is very helpful, it can get a little busy during rush hour, the food is every bit as good, I can't believe there is such an amazing Brunch in Covina!
Had a great breakfast experience here with my mom and my mother-in-law. The inside is very nice and the menu options are great. We tried the Smoked Salmon Benny, Veggie Omelet, and the Steak and Eggs (rib-eye) and each of us LOVED our meals. The portion sizes are pretty large, but we still managed to finish everything because it was so good. The cafe de olla comes in a pretty large cup, which my moms enjoyed thouroughly. They asked me when can I take them back!
Came here on a Thursday. Although this is a pretty small place and parking can be limited, I was very pleased with the food and service. We ordered the chilaquiles with eggs and pulled pork and eggs benedict with cafe de olla and vanilla latte. The food was freshly cooked and delicious and came out fairly quickly. I will definitely come back to try out some other food items.
What a gem!Delicious breakfasts and the most friendly service. I got salmon benny and latte - it was a perfection. Also, rosemary potatoes are some of the best potatoes I’ve ever had. This is 5 star dining experience. On top of that you also get a friendly team who is genuinely excited and happy to be there. If you enjoy delicious food and a welcoming, kind vibe then this is your place.
So we always go to Sage, food is really tasty. Great mexican breakfast food. However recently they have re decorated and it doesn't have the same charm. Family run business, some of the servers are sweet, can be a little hit n miss with them. Although food is always on point with good prices. Tip- park on the road not in parking lot.
First time trying this place today. Very cute little spot. I got the salmon toast it was bomb delicious 😋surprisingly came with a side salad yummy delicious. Love the beets in it and the brown sugar latte on ice is excellent two thumbs up on everything 💯 customer service was great too Josh was a very very nice guy. Thank you for your recommendations and your help. I will definitely be back 😉💞

We have been here twice and we love the atmosphere and music! (Great music choice by the way) The food is good but it could have a little more taste. Their coffee is great and served in a big cup. The service is just ok. Our server wasn’t the friendliest (an older lady) but there was another girl who took over who was the sweetest.
This place was recommended by my cousin and friends. I went to meet with my Aunt as she lives nearby, I traveled more than an hour away. The first thing no one tells you is that there is NO parking. You must park in the street since there's maybe 4 parking spots for the restaurant. If you're lucky enough to get one of those parkings you're still walking and leaving your car parked at a VERY busy intersection. I had to park around the corner and walk as it was a VERY bust Saturday morning breakfast meet up. Once I walked in there was no acknowledgement from staff and the place is small so it's not like it's a HUGE restaurant and you don't notice when the door opens. The food is good and the coffee is great but I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. I ordered the French Toast and I think it was $17.

My first time going. The food is delicious good portions everything from my meal was great! Service not to happy. Ther were only two girls servers and the one that took care of us. Was very simple no smile I don't think i heard her name because she didn't introduce herself. The thing i wasn't too sure about is that the customers that were ther they had a pitcher of water. She never brought me water not sure if I have to ask. But when a new table came she took the pitcher of water! They didn't request but she still took it. So why I didn't get any water. I had a big meal n a coffee but it would have been nice if I would of got some water. Wasn't too happy with her service!
This is a cute little spot. The food is ok, there was an issue with the fish, but the customer service was pretty good. I had my heart set on the pistachio latte but they ran out of the syrup. They currently aren't able to serve mimosas.
The wait was long. We didn't get water until a couple minutes before the food came out. If you're hungry, the wait might be annoying. Nevertheless, my green smoothie was yummy. Overall, my chicken and waffle dish was good. My friend and her son chose sweet dishes, a Nutella crepes, and a Fresas Con Crema Waffle, which they said was okay too.
can’t find it? Find a building with colorful butterflies! Small indoor outdoor spot! The staffs were nice and accommodating on our seatings. Dutch baby takes around 20-30 minutes. The whip cream will melt quick so it becomes soggy really quick if you don’t eat quick. It wasn’t sweet enough so I asked for syrup. Fries: They have seasoning on top so you don’t need a sauce. It came out hot, which I like! Chocolitas Mocha latte: tasted a bit burnt but still okay. I would like to get a nicer cup that isn’t chipped on the bottom though. Parking: very difficult. Don’t park at the other side or you’ll get towed!
Very small location with a few tables and a long wait list. Friendly but understaffed. Hostess was sympathetic at the 45 min wait and no chairs or shade for waiting. Parking is limited as neighboring business had to stake out their own spaces. Street parking avail. As with many places, they are understaffed. Although friendly and accommodating , non of our food came out on time or together. Breakfast, salads and lunch selections were varied. However as with many places prices seemed heavy. Omelette was $17 and my Eggs B was average. I expected more Hollandaise. Would try a weekday for a different experience.
The indoor aesthetics of the place is great and all. The parking outside not so much as there is very limited parking and a construction in the parking lot. The food itself is not really that special, maybe I just ordered the wrong things. Outside of my friends chicken sandwich (not pictured) everything else was mediocre at best. The shawarma bread was slightly undercooked and personal preference, the salad was a bit too sour with their dressing. The Dutch baby was severely undercooked outside of the side and top area. The mocha latte has a burnt taste to it as well. Everything did come out together as we requested, but I would've assumed the request would only be for the food and that the drinks would come out first so to can sip and absorb the atmosphere. Probably wouldn't give this place another try on the near future though as I call go to other locations that serve similar foods in a relatively close distance.
The food was good. It had a nice flavor to it. Amazing that though they have different variety of ethnicity types of food it taste different that’s a plus the waitress was nice. It does get kind of busy. They can work on fixing their floorboards and some touch of paint would work, the bathroom needs a little bit work more cleaning.
I just finished eating here, we had a party of 4. Everything was good, the food was good.. my only complaint is that the server charged 25% tip to my card without my knowledge, and I don't think that's the right thing to do. I was going to leave the tip with cash and when I looked at the receipt I noticed that the total was less than what my card was charged. My advise is to look at your receipt before giving your card away or tapping your phone and check how much you are being charged. The server could have asked or give me the option for me to select the tip amount.

This quaint little place has surprisingly charmingly decor, especially given that it is in a strip mall next to a laundry mat and a 7-11. The parking lot has very few spaces, so you may need to park on street and walk. The staff was a bit grumpy -- maybe because it was the Sunday that daylight savings began and they weren't awake yet, plus it was REALLY busy. When we were first seated, we were put at a table right in front of the door, and it wobbled, which wasn't a big deal, but when another table opened up, of the exact size and further from the door, we asked to be moved to it. We were told, "No, we are going to put PEOPLE there." Since there seemed to be no one waiting, and our order had not yet been taken, I reminded him that we ARE people, and if other people come later they will have this table, just like we have it now. He reluctantly moved us. When it was time to leave, it took a very long time before anyone came so we could settle our bill. That said, the food was really good, so despite the grumpy staff, I will probably give them one more chance, and see if they can muster smiles and attentiveness.

Nice place overall, but misses the mark on many things. Start with the good things... Food: The food was good. Clean, and flavorful. Menu items had a nice variety of dishes for different eaters and ages. I ordered chilaquiles, and my Significant other ordered chimichurri Steak and eggs. The chilaquiles were decent. Clean and flavorful. Chips were not soggy. Although, it did not feel like chilaquiles. The Chimichurri was delicious, but nothing distinct about it. Coffee was decent. The first order came out incorrect (ordered an ice coffee, and received it hot) Atmosphere: The place was lively! Place definitely attracts a very voguish group of individuals. Youthful, and hip. Good music playing. indoor and outdoor seating options. Although, very small, and cramped. Hence Social Eatery. I had shared a long table with a family (staff is kind enough to ask if we are okay before seating us with others. We happy obliged). And to the things that made the overall experience not so pleasant... Service: First and foremost the staff was friendly, and the staff were tending to MANY people at once. Wait times for everything took very long. From waiting to be seated, waiting to place the order, and waiting to check out. From the beginning, as we were waiting to be seated, we observed 2 parties be informed that reservations placed on Yelp were not working. BE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS DIRECTLY WITH THEM, NOT USING 3RD PART SERVICES. PARKING: Parking is VERY LIMITED in the parking lot. Street parking is available, but also gets full. Drove up and down both Badillo and Vincent to find street parking. If it weren't for the poor service due to wait times overall, and the limited parking, I may have been interested in giving this place a second shot. However, the food was not compelling enough to go through that again.
I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and am majorly disappointed. The food was okay but the service was awful. We were seated and waited around 15 min for someone to come by. By the time we got our water it was another 10 min before we could order something. I think they might’ve been short staffed but everything seemed chaotic and they forgot part of our order so we waited even longer. They tried to make it up by giving us a Dutch baby but it was undercooked. The quality food was okay but after waiting that long for service and our forgotten order I wouldn’t go back. The table seated next us were complaining about the same thing. The staff are friendly but unfortunately our experience still fell short. The aesthetic is nice and it would be a fun place to go for brunch with friends and family but after my first experience I wouldn’t go back. It shares a parking lot with a couple other businesses so parking can be tight. There’s parking for electric cars on the other side of the parking lot
Do not recommend this place. Was really excited to come try it out, the photos are deceiving. Literally no parking, maybe 4 cars, then you have to park on the street and walk, this is on a busy corner very large busy streets, Vincent and badillo. Very little seating available. Menu is small, not kid friendly at all. Very slow staff, friendly but not attentive. Food at our table came out at different times, a plain French toast took the longest. Made no sense. One bathroom in the back that’s unisex and very dirty and near tables. Also the tables were very small, not ideal for a party of 4. Don’t even get me started on the price! Extremely over priced for the atmosphere and the food. A 3 glass mimosa “flight” was $27!! Will not return or recommend. Very disappointed.

Food is pricey for its size but it was decent. Honestly mid food but it was worth a try. I would eat this place again if it’s the only place open. Also the waitress tried pulling a fast on us and put the tip in manually on the tablet so beware
