Huge shoutout to Skylar & Vicky for their customer service. They were beyond professional, were very reassuring, and the friendliest. Thank you guys for being so awesome so early in the morning! It made all the difference and was very greatly appreciated! GIVE THEM A RAISE! :)

Very clean given the fact that there are alot of homeless none the less very clean lobby the only big problem i had was after I got home with my order there was a hair in my burrito. I'm sure it was an accident but still need to be a bit more cautious ⚠️

I was greeted the minute we walked in the door, friend smiling faces, food was made right away and done by the time we finished paying now that's service, waited 3 mins for Fresh Coffee which we were very happy about and the food and service was great. the workers working tonight did excellent. 2/13/19

One of the workers name was Wendy. She is awesome. She was very concerned for a lady that walked in and helped her and was still nice to me even though she was helping out a lady who wasn't feeling well. While her tall coworker was not nice and needs to be re taught customer service.

Late night 12am burritos are the best!! Andrew always make sure there plenty of Sauces!! Very well kept and clean establishment.

Fancy looking Del Taco. Staff is nice. If you’re vegetarian like myself then this is a much better & tastier option than Taco Bell. I always get the quesadilla with a BRC w/black beans. I just wish the quesadilla came with a dipping cup of pico de gio.

You ever ask yourself which is better. Taco Bell, Pollo Loco or Del Taco. Well they all have their pros and cons. However, hands down Del Taco is the way to go. They use fresh ingredients. They shred their own cheese and do you know that they make their beans fresh. They have a varienty of choices. Burritos tacos, both soft and hard. Quesadillas, tostadas and much more. Did you know that have burgers 🍔. Its fantastic by the way. For you vegans out there, they have Beyond meat options. Del Taco is alway my first choice.

As far as a fast food Mexican restaurant goes I recommend that you try Del Taco. Their closest competitor whom shall remain nameless, but you know who they are lol can't compete.

Del Taco is a bit more pricy than Taco Bell but better quality! This particular restaurant was very clean and tidy.

Sometimes they give you empty shells instead of tacos as if they are not paying attention to there work at all

Street tacos taste like authentic Mexican food. I go a couple of times a week. If you have a sweet tooth, try their Churros-they're yummy.

Went in the drive thru around 11pm. Had some rude high schooler take my order. Literally tossed my bag in my car when handing it to me

Don't like re-fried French fries ... I make a point to ask for fresh well done fresh and get 90% of the time refrys ...smh prices up quality down ...smh

Drive thru Window woman(50+ years) Was a bit rude,she almost got our app. Order wrong,no one ever checks the phone🙄to make sure it's your order,and it's paid for by my credit card I have hooked up to my Del Taco app. The tostada's tostada shell was extra stale and hard as can be, I just ate the meat, beans and cheese off of the top of it with my fork,and threw the hard tostada shell in the trash...what a disappointment.

Service was good. But 1 of the employee didn't have a.mask on correctly. She had a mask on. But her mouth and nose wasn't covered, and she was preparing the food for the customer.

It was ok staff not attentive they act like the are doing you a favor. Not friendly at all. The food wasn't bad they close the dining room at 6:30 pm

I'm not a big fan of Del Taco, for a good reason, because they just don't have very good food. When I went there this time, it reminded me why I don't really get Del Taco, it wasn't terrible and it did the job. I digress, Taco Bell is so much better, and I'd rather get a Doritos Locos Taco. Unfortunately I was at a tire shop next door and I have to settle with Del Taco. I got an all beef burrito and a beef and bean burrito for the best price I could get it for. Their hot sauce is good, better than Taco Bells, but it still filled me up.

The place itself is very clean and and the staff is quick and nice. It's close to my job. The only bad thing is the number of transients that have been hanging out there recently making it feel not safe. Last time I was there they was one sitting in a booth pulling drugs out of his bag. Will not be going back here untill problem is cleared up.

Live less then a mile away. My wife and I got some food on the way home and figured no line quick stop here. Got home in about 5 minutes max. Once home and starting to eat, one burrito is really cold, both hard shell tacos completely broken on bottom and really not hard at all seemed more soggy than anything. May not go back or I might just to try it again. Maybe a bad day, bad time, or issue with employees serving bad food.

Went thru drive up window. Placed my order. Asked for all beef burrito with no onions, girl said it doesn't come with onions. I said ok good can you add cheese to the burrito. Completed the rest of my order. She gave me total cost. I drive up paid she handed me my drinks. Then she was getting my food order. I got one bag and as I was glancing at my receipt I noticed burrito plus onions 30 cents. I showed her my receipt and told her I said no onions and you added onions. She asked me for the bag I had back. I gave it to her and she fixed the burrito. I am glad I checked my receipt, because my husband would have been upset with the added onions. Food was fresh and good. Fries were fresh, I hate when I get French fries that have been sitting for awhile. Reason for 3 stars is because of the mistake with my order. Had I gone home and not checked the order, my husband would not be happy. Pay attention to the customer and the special request.

I love Del Taco and their food....but this location on Vincent Ave in West Covina, I am no longer going there on my way to work. I have never had any problems here before, always got good service, but there is one guy there who works the 12A-5A hours, and everytime he is on, I pull up at 4:45AM to get something on the way to work, he comes over the speaker, talking so fast I can't understand him, then he tells me the "System is down" and can't take my order. This happened about 6 times, and the 7th time, in June of this year, tells me that again, and so I just said "You need a new system." There are others that work that shift, and I have always got good service...just this one guy who keeps telling me the system is down. I refuse to go there at that time of the morning anymore, but will go there in the afternoon. If I go to Del Taco at that time of the morning, it will be a different location.

I am offended if they actually pay someone lots of money to design these store layouts.... Brand new and shiny...but not with the customer in mind.

This place has bad service. Employees at night our so mean and non enthusiastic to be at work. I can see why there not 24 hours anymore.

So I will admit, I've never been a Del Taco fan. I haven't been in one in many, many years. This one is close by and just opened so it was reasonable to give it a try, just in case something had changed. The answer is a flat no. I had the number 2, a burrito combo and the filling was just as I remembered, a mush of undefined source having little to no real taste that you could identify. As I said, I've never been a Del Taco fan. I'm pretty sure that simply means I'm too old to be in the condition it would take to enjoy this stuff.

The night crew so slow, just standing there joking around. It took almost 15 minutes to get to my 3 tacos, small fries, and a small drink, with just 2 cars in front of me. Will not come back again.

Customer service is lacking. But to be quite honest, that stems from the low pay the management offers. So I don't really hold it against the workers. What I do have a problem with is how the management decides to train the employees an manage them. That is the problem.

Incompetent staff "work" here. 2/19/23 around 6:45PM dummy working the drive thru didn't pay attention when told CLEARLY multiple times two shrimp burrito combos but only put one down. Now tonight 2/24/23 my bf went through drive thru placed his order CLEARLY and dummy charged him and placed shrimp taco order instead of shrimp burrito combo. What is with these people? You guys have something against a shrimp burrito? You guys chose to apply and work here so do your job, its not hard. You all need a manager to babysit and wipe the drool off your faces. 2 stars for the food.

This place will mess up your order and make you pay for a new one. I thought there carne asada frys came with sour cream but instead come with "secret sauce". At least they accept ebt . Maybe that's why they made me pay for a new one

food tasted old they got my order wrong and had to let them know twice now i know why i dont eat there

Although the workers were nice, they had to be reminded that my order wasn't complete twice. Plus, I was in the drive thru for at least 15 or more minutes.

Despite the homeless in the restaurant, Went in for lunch, asked to used the restroom first, gal behind the counter asked if I was a bus driver, said no, and bathroom was refused, I work in the field for a Utility company, hi vis shirt, vest ect. Bathrooms are hard to come by, but refusing a customer is a bit much.

Dear Del Taco management, please instruct your employees that regardless of how busy your store may get, acknowledging customers as they arrive is important. The phrase “Welcome, we will be with you shortly”. Works wonders. Having customers walk in and be ignored will cause them to do as I did today. Walk out after 5 minutes without being acknowledged. I often go to the Pollo Loco on Grand in Covina and they ALWAYS acknowledge their patrons, no matter how busy they are. Just a suggestion.

I've been here before, didn't LEARN my lesson then: this Del Taco is EXTREMELY S-L-O-W. And the drive thru TRAPS you in line! This is thee VERY worst Del Taco I've ever been to. I made the BIG mistake of being HUNGRY when I went there. My car is overheating, I'm STARVING and I've lost my patience with them.

Asked for green sauce.. they said we are low ...can only give you one...let me ask manager...got my order...fries were dark like re cooked or something...asked for sour cream that I ordered...manager comes..." whats the problem?" Attitude....I can charge you for that...I didn't ask for free....hated the experience...will not go again and will tell all my workplace friends n anyone else that will listen.

Don't know what happened to this place. They used to make big fat luscious tacos. But now, they're less than half their former size. I'd just as soon they cut corners someplace else, and leave my taco alone!!

Don't come here for breakfast, they seem to always having a problem with everything. Some machine isn't working or the atm machine is down or they just simply can't take your order for some lame reason or another. Horrible spot I would give 0 stars if I could!

The person working the window on march 11th 2024 at 10:20pm was extremely rude and when I still tried to be polite and say thank you he just slammed the window closed. At least the food was decent.

Never had an issue with this restaurant up until today when they forgot one of my items and when I went back to receive the missing item I was met with attitude by the drive through employee and when I explained to them she continued to give me the wrong items and had to correct her again and she told me that I had to give back the wrong item (which I had no problem doing) and than slammed the window shut on me still forgetting my items I than asked for a manger and she didn't seem to care as much either about her employee's attitude

May 14 at 5:15PM - Terrible customer service. We order and purchase Del Taco every week from different locations around LA and we had a terrible experience from this branch. Using drive thru, we ordered burrito and fries box but my chipotle sauce was half only so I asked for another one or for it to be swapped but they demanded extra payment. It was the white chubby female who was extremely rude about it. Seriously for 50 cents? If she wants to stick with charging additional 50 cents, then at least be respectful. It is very disappointing to see employees acting rude just because they want to take out their frustrations to the customer. Please give her proper customer service training so she knows how to speak and resolve concerns without showing attitude to loyal customers.

It's been a while since I've been there. But the last time I was there. They ended up putting everything on my Steak tacos and because I don't eat cheese. I asked them to put it in a plane heart taco I asked for extra State they ended up putting everything on it when it was supposed to be playing just with the extra steak. So I ended up calling a person by the name of the answer the phone she was so kind so respectful she said don't worry about it won't take care of it. I don't through so much in life but I couldn't come and get it in the past couple of month so I finally went right now and somebody by the name of Angie at the window. She told me supervisor said. If you don't pay for it, we're not gonna give it to you for free, and she told me that. Wendy is not even working there no more. But when she told me supervisor told her Not to give me anything for free. She was still standing in front of me at the window. She did not even go inside to check for my name on a piece of paper or in the back or anything. She was at the end of the whole time. She didn't even speak to nobody. Her name is Angie. I take a pin. I take my allergies very serious.

Like an earlier review noted, the customer service is terrible here. There is no acknowledgement from any of the employees when you are waiting. My last 2 visits the cashier acted like my presence was an inconvenience. I frequent this location often because it's close to home and I love their burritos, but enough is enough.

Just ordered bean and cheese burritos. How do you mess that up. The tortillas are cold and the beans were runny almost watery. Just a bunch of kids who could care less about food Quality and care more about getting you out of the drive thru as soon as possible. I really hope the owners of this location see this rating. Don’t know who you have cooking but they need some serious retraining. Now I remember why I stopped coming here. Thanks a lot.

Like everyone else who has a frustrating experience with the kids working here & not caring about customers, to the extra long wait at the drive thru, this place is a joke! It seems to be steady with customers at times but I don't know how! Rude employees, long waiting "drive or walk in! Food cold much of the time! My biggest pet peeves R a 15 dollar order with a 50 dollar bill and they turn U away! No change in the register! It's a 20 & a 10! I m from Florida! We don't turn cash customer's away! U should look into your employees!

I cannot stand the woman that works in the drive thru in the mornings. Every single time my husband and I have tried to go there to order in the morning it’s the same lady who is SO rude!! I went around 8am as soon I drove up to the drive thru speaker the woman taking the order said "Are you ready to order?" in a very rude tone, I replied "Good morning, Y" I didn't even finished when she huffed and and repeated herself this time in a very aggressive manner. I continued my order by saying yes and asking for some chili fries with no salt on the fries, she said no what?! I repeated myself she said okay with a attitude. I then asked for the 2 for $6 stuffed quesadilla tacos, she asked me with what kinda of meat so I thought oh I can choose so I asked for chicken instead of carnitas I must of said something funny because she laughed and in a snarky tone told me that if I was sure because that special didn't come with that, she continued to mock me so I ask to cancel the order and drove off. As a suggestion to anyone looking for it don't ever go in the morning unless you want your day ruined before it even starts.

The concern I have is when I went into the restaurant and tried to use my rewards and the cashier scanned my code on the phone for the rewards and she didn't know how to use the app to use the rewards. I asked if there was anyone else that can help me and she said " we're busy, we dont have time" , then she walked away and didn't come back. That was very rude and very unwelcoming. The employees need to take the time to learn about the app, so that they can service their customers well. The food is way too salty. I am no longer a Del Taco customer

I was looking for something else to order and rang up the bill before l was done ordering. Rip off artist. She said 9 dollars something, l said how does $6 become over $9. I just left. She was very rude. Don't get ripped off here. Don't eat here.

Visited not long ago and the manager made a mistake and gave our order to another customer 20 minutes after placing the order. 10 minutes later the person she gave it to returned it to the counter to complain after eating some of it and handling all the food in the bag. The idiot manager repackaged the old food and tried giving it to me as a new order. I confronted the manager and she denied it for 5 minutes until the other customer came up and confirmed she had handled the food. The manager would have given me old contaminated food if she had not been caught red handed. You can see the manager that I was dealing with on YouTube just search for JoeContractor and the video will show up. Stay away from this store because the manager will screw you after taking your money!

No happy placed order is drive thru. My daughter wanted a hamburger. They did not have any Their grill was down. Of course I can't back out cars behind me. Can't go forward cars in front. Had to go somewhere else for her burger Put a sign up before I waste my gas in line

Ordered bean and cheese burritos and they were small as taquitos. Very skimpy with the beans, and it was mostly cheese and tortilla.

Keeps getting worse every time we decide to give them a chance. Food was disgusting and Tasted old. Do not recommend this Del Taco. Friendly but that's as good as it gets. This is not my first time eating here but sure is my last.

Terrible walk in customer service. Drive thru is their sole focus. There will be at least 4 visible employees that plainly see you standing at the counter but you'll be ignored while they scramble to fulfill drive thru orders. Today I stood there for almost 5 minutes until I got frustrated & walked out. If you decide to eat here use the drive thru unless you like to be ignored.

I would have rated this 0 star if I could. I stop by at 4:55 a.m. after work And they always tell me their system is down and they can't serve me. And another time when I got there at 5:58 am I wanted to order a cheeseburger and they say they couldn't make it because they had just clean their grills and it had chemicals on it. I have eaten at many del tacos over the course of the years. Their food was always acceptable not great but acceptable. On this particular trip to this particular Del Taco there was A-line of about 7 people ahead of me it took almost 20 minutes to get to the window. I'm thinking they're making each order individually so the foods gonna be nice and hot and good. Boy was eyeing for a rude awakening. I was hungry so I pulled into a parking spot reaching to my bag only to have the taco open add the taco open up and spill inside. Obviously she had not placed the at taco in a very good position. I took a bite of the taco and it was ice cold. Tortilla chicken everything. I next chose my cheeseburger and fries to eat. The cheeseburger was overcooked cold it's old and had no flavor. The only highlight of my meal was the French fries were hot and the soda was cold. If there was a possible way to give it a -5 star, I would... As for me I will have to be starving and it would have to be given to me for free for me to eat at Del Taco again in West Covina..

This is the worse Del Taco ever. I told them they messed up on my order and they wanted me to pay again to fix it. And this is not the first time. I love the Del Taco on Azusa Ave in West Covina. If they mess up on my order they fix it instantly. They have the best customer service.

If I’m paying $25 for chilli fries quesadilla, a number 2 u better believe if my food is not hot or fresh I’m coming inside and asking for it to be remade. My soda better be sizzling as well. I just left the del taco on Vincent in west covina and I am convinced the taco meat was spoiled or not maintained properly. The meat had the worst odor and my top lip has swollen from eating 1/2 of a mini taco. I am sick - I tried to call this location but no answer. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced such awful tasting and smelly food from this fast food spot, but I woll stay far far away - never going back. I suggest you think twice - the taco meat is bad - please fix immediately!

I didn’t physically go in, but I ordered late night food, which I will never do again from this exact location tried to call and no one ever answers the phone so this is why I’m leaving this bad review. I can’t even get my money back through Uber because the fries was cold burrito taste like it had stuff in it. I kept biting no hard stuff inside the burrito that I ordered and I can’t even get my money back or getting in contact so it looks like I’m gonna have to probably go up there just to be able to get some response back in the order from this location. I will never eat from Del taco again or order my food off of Uber.

Del taco manager at this location is nasty rude, gave me the 9 dollar box with a burger instead of what I asked for in my order for the 7 dollar box then hung up on me. I DONT APPRECIATE THE LACK OF CUSTER SERVICE I ASKED HER WHAT WAS IN THE BOX I ORDERED.

Service is horrible they can't ever get the order correct so now we just go inside. Check-out food because there service is horrible

My mother and I bought a regular Del taco, and in the middle of it, was a long brown hair. This was disgusting and awful.

This del Taco used to be the go-to del Taco. Last few times I've been here quality has been way down. ice machine is moldy every time I get a Sprite it tastes very moldy. Bean and cheese burritos something tasted rotten in it. Taco shells were very stale. Very disappointed. Had to throw away $15 worth of food.

If I’m paying $25 for chilli fries quesadilla, a number 2 u better believe if my food is not hot or fresh I’m coming inside and asking for it to be remade. My soda better be sizzling as well. I just left the del taco on Vincent in west covina and I am convinced the taco meat was spoiled or not maintained properly. The meat had the worst odor and my top lip has swollen from eating 1/2 of a mini taco. I am sick - I tried to call this location but no answer. I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced such awful tasting and smelly food from this fast food spot, but I woll stay far far away - never going back. I suggest you think twice - the taco meat is bad - please fix immediately!
