Taking advantage of a pleasantly warm day, I decide to take a day trip to Vigezzo and have lunch at the Vasca refuge, where I'd stayed over a decade earlier. We arrive around 1:00 PM and the parking lot is full. We ask if lunch is possible and that we have a dog with us. No problem, they clear a table for us and seat us under a large umbrella. They bring us bread and menus. We opt for a game cured meat appetizer, and for main courses, polenta and braised meat, and one with sausage and onion. A medium and a small beer. After we finish the appetizer, the main courses arrive, along with another small beer. Everything is delicious. Fully satisfied, we discover from other tables that there's also blueberry ice cream for dessert. Indulging in our cravings, we order two. A very pleasant surprise: blueberries with ice cream, not the other way around. The quantity of blueberries was super abundant and fresh, and in fact, we were told they had been picked in the woods that morning. The bill came to €60.70. Well spent for quality food served professionally and with a smile. Next time I won't wait ten years to return.

An excellent choice if you're looking for a restaurant with homemade products. The selection of tagliatelle was superb. The polenta, with five of their main course options, was spot on. Our entire group loved it. This convinced us to return to try more of their dishes. The portions are generous. The location is breathtaking. The structure seems to embrace the view in front of it. Once you reach the restaurant, there is a convenient, spacious parking area and as far as the eye can see, only majestic trees adorn this unique structure! Magnificent

Excellent food, tastes like homemade polenta! Simple atmosphere, a porch overlooking the parking lot and the view of the surrounding nature. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food: Superb veal stew!!! Superb homemade gnocchi!!! We'll be back… P.S. If you're lucky enough to go during blueberry season 🫐, you have to try the tart (made by them!)… Congratulations!!!!

An excellent mountain refuge. We haven't been back in several years, but we'll have to start coming back more often. The food is truly excellent, featuring typical mountain dishes and local products, reasonable prices, and generous portions. The service is informal but well-executed, and the parking is large and convenient.

We had a magical time at your establishment. Everything was perfect: a beautiful setting, homemade food, delicious charcuterie and desserts, and very helpful and friendly staff. Special mention to the two young men who work very hard and are very courageous—a great lesson in life.

A beautiful place surrounded by nature, excellent management, and superb food! A Sunday lunch, there were seven of us and we waited about twenty minutes for a table, but the owner, to help us get through the wait, brought us a platter and an aperitif! Brilliant! The food is truly exquisite, the polenta with various meats is an A+! We'll be back in large numbers! 😁

Beautiful place nestled in the woods. Thanks to the beautiful day, we ate on the terrace. The food was plentiful, well-cooked, and the prices were all in all reasonable. The service was quick, and the staff was attentive and very friendly. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

I had lunch at this restaurant a few days ago. I enjoyed the food, the staff were very friendly, and the location was beautiful and welcoming. I didn't appreciate the large number of dogs. A bit too many, in my opinion. A family with two large, long-haired dogs arrived at the table next to mine. I found the muzzle of one of the dogs on my leg, and I could even smell its scent. At that point, I asked to move seats, which the dog owner should have done, since I was already seated when she arrived, but never mind...
