Very delicious Mexican food. With one of their large burritos and beans & rice of course, we feed three people. Everything was authentic Mexican. No fushion, Americanized or fast food there. Everything was fresh, nothing under hot lights.

I get the carne asada burrito and rolled tacos. They are both very good! sometime in the past they had changed their meat, which stopped me going, but recently they went back to the previous meat and they are much much better again! Just like before. I have not really tried anything else so I can't comment on the rest of they're menu but based on what I get, should be solid!

This is our 1st time trying Jilberto's and had several questions while deciding what to order. Jasmine showed patience and knows the menu well. Her beautiful smile and great customer service will have us returning very soon. Awesome personality n hard worker too.

Only had breakfast burritos so far (I had the Machaca), and I got no complaints. I usually use the quality of the hot carrots as a way to gauge the quality of the rest of the food, and they got great hot carrots here.

Wonderful place to eat at. Al pastor burrito was great, the pastor was properly cooked where it was tender but also had that beautiful grilled/charred flavor. The build of the burrito was flavorful & the SALAS ARE GREAT!! FLAVOR TOWN, & some good heat! Staff is exceptional and kind.

Great service! Young guy at cash register was very courteous. I used the bathroom and smelled and was super clean. Most important thing food was delicious and portions were good. I ordered 2 tacos and those were big! Recommend this place!

This specific location has the best Pollo Asado and Horchata! The customer service is always superb. They bring the food to your table when you dine in and it's always piping hot. I love that they have cauliflower bits in the jalapeños and carrots. Hands down some of the best beans too. Not as good as my Abuela's, God rest her soul, but they are the next best thing to making your own at home. I love their flour tortillas. I'm not sure if they're made in-house or what, but they are made right! They're always the right texture, flavor and nothing like those chalky-pita bread wannabes. Yes, this is greasy deliciousness. Don't want the grasa then don't order anything that's going to have melted cheese in or on it😃 The price is right. The flavors and food selection are on point and the carne asada fries (sub them with Pollo Asado and you will thank me) and tortas and quesadillas are food comas and food babies waiting to happen. Everytime I see their party platter menu, it makes me want to plan a party just to share deliciousness with friends and family.

Good salsa bar, good tacos, inconsistent with their carne asada, sometimes it's good and sometimes just ok. The prices are too high. But overall clean and pleasant. Do not mistake for Jilbertos on Pauba rd, that one is awful atmosphere, bad food, and poor service.

Good food and great prices. Sometimes it's hard to find good basic food. Whether it is taquitos and bean and cheese burrito, or a carne asada burrito or fries. Some people just can't get it right. Los Jilberto's offers tasty food at a good price. For sure check them out!

Best Mexican food within 10 miles of Pechanga Casino.

Great tasting rolled taquitos. I go there frequently and the taste is delicious as always and consistently fresh. I live in Riverside and drive down there just for the taquitos. They provide us with a restroom too. They have fresh Aguas Frescas. Clean tables and condiment area

The food is on par with most local taco shops in the area. You will not be disappointed and it won't cost an arm and a leg. Great little hole in the wall, and half the price of all the authentic Mexican restaurants that don't taste like anything my mother ever made.

Couldn’t taste the meat and guac a little watery, but hit the spot if you know what to expect and roll with it. Salsas were all really great, but the chipotle one was our favorite. Friendly service as well and clean inside. Happy to have stopped by and would go back again to try a few more items.

Large portions, however food wasn't very good. Wasn't bad, but definitely not good. Beef taco was better then the chicken. Chicken was gross. And how is a two taco plate with avocados $17.24???

This is one of my favorite places to go to for super nachos. Typically, they are good. Today, half of the meat I had to spit out because they were hard, too chewy or grisly. The service today, though, was the best I've had. So, I'll come back again

Best takeout Mexican restaurant in Temecula. I had to take a star away because their burritos have shrunk. Too bad because I love them. Edit… Got a breakfast burrito of carne asada, potatoes, egg, and cheese. Dry, horrible, and I didn’t see any eggs. Yuck! I have to take away another star.

Food is decent. Prices are competitive. My only issue is I place a phone order ahead of time and they never start making it until I show up and tell them I have a phone order to pick up. Ive placed 3 separate orders in 2 weeks and they dont start it til I come. If they dont take phone orders, than say that! Cuz ill go somewhere else next time.

Twice I've been there Sunday after church. They wash the floors at about 1:00pm with a terrible scented cleaner. Really? Mopping floors during high traffic time and stinking up the restaurant with a fake scent instead of your good food smells?.. I complained but the girl wouldn't even speak to me. I will pick a another after church place to eat from now on.

Me personally I got the California burrito and it was good but js on a scale of 1-10 it was a strong 7-10 and I would go again but another thing is that the service is nice and easy so that's 👍

Ordered a California burrito spit out 10 pieces of fat and their was no guacamole or sour cream in it. The salsa was heavy on the onion a little bit to much. Flavor was just ok only reason i gave it two stars, but i wont go back again

The carneasda was tough and fatty. I tossed half my burrito away in the trash. It was not ranchera, more like london broil. It needed several more hours of simmering. The cuts were also inconsistent. They need a Mexican grandma in there kitchen and not the kids.

While the food is amazing, the business ethics leave much to be desired. My go-to breakfast burrito includes ham, eggs, beans, and cheese. Simple, right? On the menu, they do not have this specific burrito. However they do have the following. 1. Eggs, beans, and cheese = $8.25 2. Eggs, potatoes, and cheese = $8.25 3. Eggs, ham, potatoes, and cheese = $8.99 If you do the math, the difference between items 2 & 3 is 74 cents, so one might logically come to the conclusion that adding ham to a burrito would cost the same. So using this math, it should cost $8.99 for a burrito that includes eggs, beans, cheese, and ham. Here's where the restaurant gets weird. When I tried to order this burrito the first time, the cashier never told me it would be extra for the beans to be added to the eggs, ham, potatoes and cheese burrito, but that might be seen as reasonable except for the fact that I asked for the eggs, ham, potatoes and cheese burrito to NOT have potatoes. When I asked for the potatoes to be given to me on the side, I was told "we don't really do potatoes on the side." So now I'm paying for the potatoes, but you're not giving me the potatoes, AND you're charging me extra to swap in beans for days potatoes. Not very ethical in my opinion. I wouldn't mind a modest price increase to swap potatoes for beans, but charging me $1.30 extra for them seems a bit predatory. That's the price you pay for a side order of beans, not to add them to a burrito. Or at least it should be... This questionable pricing, and the unwillingness of the staff to explain why they're charging me so much for something that should be a modest price increase, is the reason I'm now done with this place. The pictures I took of the menu were from the morning of September 29th - about 2 months ago. When I tried to plead my case using the exact language above, the lady on the phone basically hung up on me, even after I kindly explained I was just trying to talk to her. All she wanted to know was "Do you still want the burrito?" My response was something to the effect of "well yeah if it's a fair price". Which in her mind was basically a "no" so she hung up. So much for quality customer service. Even after being disrespected like that I still went in and placed my order in person for an egg, beans, and cheese burrito (I had deli ham at home, which I added to the burrito myself to save $3). When I told her I was the one who called asking about the pricing, her response was "ohhhhh." No apology for the treatment, no explanation, no discussion of any kind. I wanted to give her a chance to make things right in person before deciding to avoid giving them my business, but she did nothing. I haven't been back since but have been to several other Mexican food spots between here and San Diego. Maybe I'll give them another chance in the future. Probably not though.

The only good item on the menu is the bean and cheese burrito which is absolutely phenomenal especially if you add extra cheese however everything else is absolutely terrible. The carne asada has a bunch of gristle so you're going to be spitting up more of that than chewing and digesting the burrito.

Watch out when ordering food!!!! Make sure all your food is in the bag. Multiple times shorted us then they deny it. I think they pocket the money. One time ok almost every order is suspect.

Stopped here tonight for a quick bite, first off the service was bad! The cashier didn't take the time or cared much to answer our questions, instead just pointed at the menu expecting us to figure it out yourself, all while holding up the line. There was only one cook so it took over 15 minutes to get our food at a "fast food" place. Which I guess wouldn't be so bad if the food was worth the wait, which it wasn't. I wouldn't recommend this place nor will we ever go back here again.

Love this franchise and even though the menu is the same at each store,They all taste different. And this one in temecula is the worst by far. Found a spider in my rice and ants in the bag of food. Kitchen is dirty from the counter you can see they place their chips that they serve on the floor🤮 and the waiter that day only calls out orders in spanish? So I was waiting awhile before I was told my order was ready in english. Dont waste you money here!

What happened today was really a shame. My wife ordered tacos for the family and she specifically ordered mine plain with lettuce and cheese only. Well, my tacos arrived home chock full of onion and cilantro. Unfortunately, I just can’t eat them this way. I took a picture of the meal and I called the taco shop to let them know that they made a mistake on my order and because their terminal was down I Zelled them the money when we paid. I suggested that they just Zelle me the portion back as a refund for their error since I explained I cannot eat the food this way. I offered to send them the picture as proof that they made a mistake on my order, but they insisted that I bring the food back in order to receive a refund (Despite my receipt and despite the picture I had taken with onions and cilantro all over my tacos). Needless to say this ruined my entire lunch with my family (as I only had 30 minutes to eat before an important meeting). I had to drive back to the taco shop to give them their food back. They messed up my order and made me pay for it by my missing out on lunch with my family and requiring me to drive back to the taco shop. This is more a matter of principle. I’m very disappointed that they required me to drive the food back before issuing a refund. I finally received the refund hours later.

Ordered a breakfast burrito with strictly egg & potato, no cheese , no meat due to dietary restrictions & the burrito contained pork bacon which I do not eat / not able to eat , Didn’t eat my burrito till noon/afternoon time so that’s when I noticed… found pieces of bacon in it which I did not ask for, showed back up to tell them & they told me there's nothing they can do because the manager isn’t there & that I should’ve called about it in the morning .. I was at work & didn’t eat burrito till later on in the day so why would I have to call in the morning?I also was not given a receipt , won’t be coming here again , poor customer service as well .

She told me that "Nooo, they have tomatoes to keep it fresh" and I let her know that she told me that it was "JUST AVACADO" and that I wanted her to remake it. She flat out said "NO," this took me back because every single taco shop I've been to has never refused. I guess when you are told that something has an ingredient, do not trust them or leave. I pray that my bank can dispute this charge because I honestly feel robbed and was lied to.

I am a regular customer at this place, however, there is a certain cashier that is always rude. She wears her hair up, it's curly and she wears a bandana for a headband. Not used to seeing her here on Saturday mornings. Normally, I don't care, but this is the 3rd time with the same experience with her! The cooks are great and the food is so good.
