I have Gluten and dairy allergies. First time I’ve been able to get a sandwich that is allergen free out at a restaurant. It was delicious. GF bread was fluffy and thick. Slightly dry but that’s usual with GF breads. I will be coming back whenever I come to town.

Had the Going home for Thanksgiving and the Hollywoods SF cheesesteak, both were super tasty! The Dutch Crunch bread is soooo good! Food was ready in under 5 mins and sandwich artists were super friendly and helpful.

Ike's catered a lunch picnic for a small group of friends. Everything was correct, delicious and fresh even after the 15 minute drive. The lunch bag was a great deal since it came with sandwiches, bags of chips and cookies for $14.

As far as sandwich joints go, this place is pretty good and has a military discount. Way better than subway with fresher ingredients and more options. Sandwiches are more expensive but they're massive

I had the ‘Going Home for Thanksgiving’ and it was so tasty, packed with flavour and really satisfying. My husband went for the 'Go Sharks', and we both had ours on sourdough, which was perfect. The dirty sauce is incredible, one of those things you instantly want more of. And the apple and caramel lollies at the end were such a lovely touch. Great spot with brilliant food and loads of variety. I’m coming back before we leave Monterey.

We were visiting with a group of students and ordered 35 sandwiches from Ikes on Door dash. After hitting the Pay button, we realized that the time for the order to be ready suddenly changed from 30 minutes to over 3 hours. We needed to hop back on a bus in 2 hours, so this was definitely not going to work for us. The Doordash bot was no help so we panic-called the store. Unbelievably, they had our HUGE order ready to go in an hour. And, all of the orders were correct! The hungry students were all full and happy! We were blown away by this feat of customer service. Ikes is truly the best. You have a customer for life, Ikes!

I love Ike's for their creatively themed, not to mention delicious sandwiches. For what you get, the pricing is decent, and the meal deal is worth the price. The one problem I have is the sudden change in Loyalty system; originally, Ike's used Belly to keep track of customer loyalty, where I accrued 2 free sandwiches, however on my last visit, I was surprised to see their Belly system gutted and was told I can't use my points. You need to work with your customers to keep their loyalty. Either way, a great place for a great sandwich!

Delicious! The beef was a little dry but all the other meats are good and the bread is good quality too. Also staff was super friendly. 😊

I love their sandwiches - no complaints. I love the staff - no complaints. But there are some that don't hear when I say, "Gluten-Free Bread," and give me the French bread. It just disappoints that it happens (just a side note, I think there should be some Gluten free chips and some Izze sodas). Otherwise, I love you, Ike's!

First time - Used Doorbell Dining for a delivery. Great experience - everything would have been awesome if I had bothered to look at the ingredients. Their "Going Home for Thanksgiving" sandwich has something unbelievably hot in it - like five-alarm hot. I'm extremely sensitive to hot and spicy, so it was inedible for me, and the little I had made it impossible to eat or drink for several hours. That said, my friend's sandwich was TO DIE FOR. The ingredients, the bread, everything is top rate. I would highly recommend this place but would also suggest they denote on their menu that there's more than just cranberry sauce on that sandwich :(

Hard to find gluten free sandwiches so the place was great for that, but the prices were bit high for what you get. Bonus points for creativity and nice design, but I expected bit more. Just go to Subway for better value, sad to say. For gluten free people this is great though.

They also have Stubborn soda and a fun variety of drinks if you go to the restaurant. Next time I think I might get one of their sides, like mozzarella sticks.

First time getting Ike's sandwich. I wanted to get the Reuben but it's not a traditional Reuben sandwich. The best Reuben locally I've had is from the Market at Pebble Beach. I like the spin on their Reuben which I opted for the French roll and they had no Russian dressing so I substituted Thousand Island dressing. The pastrami was high quality and not overpowering and not the usual peppery briney Pastrami. I like the sweetness of the Purple sauerkraut which is sweeter then the typically sauerkraut. I liked the sandwich as a whole but my taste buds were expecting the tanginess of a typical Reuben. No taste of Rye bread since this was a much sweeter version of a Pastrami sandwich. I think 95 percent of people who like pastrami would like this sandwich. I gave 4 Stars because of price, a little pricey for this sandwich and received via Door dash. Quality food but I would like to go back physically and try another sandwich

I've been to other Ike's and went to this one because I've enjoyed it before. They seemed to move a bit too fast as they swaped my and my husband's bread. It was a bit disappointing considering it's not a cheap sandwich shop. Since we were in a rush, we begrudgingly ate our sandwiches on the wrong bread. UPDATE: Increased to 3 stars because the owner reached out to me about my experience and provided contact info. They mailed me a free sandwich coupon and a $3 off coupon. I appreciate when owners do their best to make a bad experience right, so this was a nice surprise. And since I do enjoy their sandwiches most of the time, I will be back to use my coupons

Doordash customer here. Food was tasty despite any preparation mistakes. Accidentally recieved the vegan turkey, it wasn't bad for a non vegan! They loaded me up on veggies, as asked. Despite the sauces I requested to avoid, they prepared the other sandwiches well. Only sad we never got our beer- battered Zucchini. I have a feeling those would have been good too. Be well!

Sandwiches are incredible. Love them. Price is pretty steep but it is almost worth it. I've been to many different locations. Last visit was okay..not busy at all but still took ten minutes for my sandwich which was poorly put together. But the taste is always there.

Being a frequent visitor of Ike's, this trip proved disappointing; first: their belly card machine was out of service, as they failed to charge their tablet, second: the service was rather crude and detached; third: they didn't make all three of our sandwiches correctly (they used the wrong bread and didn't add mushrooms I asked for) I love going to Ike's for the flavor and vegan options, all three of the sandwiches tasted bland and without character, as they had when Ike's first opened in Monterey. It's prevalent the service and the quality had begun to deteriorate since opening. I will return and hope for better outcomes, since I love the business so much - but if you're going to charge $10 for a sandwich make it taste like a $10 sandwich - the flavor, appearance, and service is staying to be as comparable to Subway.

I was craving a chicken Parm real bad. Googled it and came up with Ike's. Walked in to a huge board of sandwich's with all these names, while cute it would take someone a while to find what they want. I just told her and she put it in. Spent almost $40 for 4 sandwiches and one drink. No chips no fries. Now if the sandwich themselves could carry their weight I wouldn't have a problem, but they don't. Mine had little effort or taste put into it. My son hated the grilled cheese. All in all I'm super disappointed that I spent that kind of money on mediocre food.

If you want your card information stolen by the team that works here, you should definitely eat here. Immediately following my transaction, my bank reported that someone added my card to their Apple device and attempted over a thousand dollars in transactions. Is a sandwich worth the risk? I think not.

After all the hype around this place, sorely disappointed. Sandwich was just alright, nothing special. Didn't have enough meat. To top it off I asked about the bacon and was told it was poem by the worker (who seemed like he did not want to work there), which I take issue with considering they offer halal meat. Either way, sandwich sucked, I make more satisfying sandwiches at home.
