Taco Bell is the goat of late night deliciousness. I’ve stopped in to this location from time to time on my many Monterey trips and it’s a beacon of awesome in the night. Whether you want something sweet like a Cinnabon bite or savory like a cheesy Gordita crunch, they got you covered. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Will definitely be back.

Great place to eat after a night out as it opens till 3am. Only 1 bathroom so if you have to releafe yourself in a hurry, you might not want to come here. But food is good, even better after you've been drinking.

If you have the taco bell app definitely use it. It gets busy in there but the service was good and quick as they can. The food was hot and fresh. :)

When some people say, "if you've been to one fast food place, you've been to them all," this specific Taco Bell location dissolves that statement. Staff is always friendly, they are punctual and timely with taking orders, I've never had to wait longer than probably 5 or so minutes to get my order. Everyone is attentive to your needs and especially during the pandemic, they have been handling very well. Out of all the Taco Bells in Monterey County, this one is easily my favorite.

They don't really cater to walk ins - food apps get their attention. You get to wait. And wait. And wait.

I wanted to try this chain and there was so much to choose from. I got a box that had a taco, burrito, side and drink included. I switched the side to cinnamon twists which were yummy. Reasonable prices for the quantity and the online order was ready super quickly

Every worker in this taco bell was baked. They made my food hella slow and with love. They claimed they didn't make the cravings deal there but I think they were just stoned. Hilarious.

I haven't ate at a taco bell in a very long time. I saw the old school logo and that pulled me back into another time were the food was so good. I bought a combo meal and some sides. Dang 23 dollars.. I hope this did was worth it. This meal messed up my memory. Food was lacking in a lot of ways. I'll probably see you again when you change your logo again.

Vegetarian options not too great.

This place doesn't always attract the best crowds. So expect it to be noisy, and probably be approached by someone asking awkward questions either while eating or entering/exiting. My last 2 times going, the burritos were wrapped with the effort of a diaper on a porcupine, and the burrito shat on me accordingly.

Relatively clean, standard Taco Bell food quality, but this the slowest Taco Bell I've ever been to. Be prepared if you use the 24 minute parking. I was 1 of 2 customers in the store, staff wouldn't take my order, reqd to use kiosk, take out order (2 tacos & 2 burritos) took 20 min to prepare.

A busy Thursday night and only one order taker and one food preparer. You can do better Taco Bell you have an amazing downtown Monterey location.

Fire Everyone. Waited an hour for my order. Do not come expecting your food on time.

So we were in Monterey, just like any other tourists and it was a cold, dark night in spring when we decided to eat out at a taco bell... because we all love Doritos, and if you don't you are not human. We ate and left, 30 seconds later my mother remember she left her purse! We ran back and it was there, nor the taco bell employee eating two tables away from us. We asked the other two employees and nothing. The manager didn't know how the cameras worked, and the one who knew was in vacation. We knew that it was an inside job and left the establishment and the manager told us he would call us. A block away was a cop and we told him, he stoped and told us he will check the cameras... we walked back, he went on the camera room and then the nice employee(who stole the purse) ran after the cop and told the cop she thought it was hers, and everybody lived happily. P.S. I am a wizard and now the whole staff who aided the woman who stole the purse are slowly burning from the inside (this part is a lie)(or is it?) The Purse event was real. It happened an hour ago report filed at 9pm April 7 12

Hair in drink. Avoid this taco bell. After drinking more than half of my "large MTN dew spiked lemonade freeze", I found a black hair inside the cup. They didn't even fill it up all the way and forgot to make it even though it was ordered through the app. Stay away from this place.

My first review ever on google but the service is so bad i might as well post a comment as i wait for my order. Its been 25 minutes since we placed our order. They fill all the door dash orders first, even if they are placed after the walk up customers. Truly unbelievable. Since we already paid, we have to wait. Going on 30 minutes...

"Manager" is super rude! Messed up our order. I called to see what we could do. She was extremely rude. Brought it back in. She argued that is was right til finally "fixing" it. Still wrong. $40 for nothing. I work in customer service. I don't cause problems.

don't go here if you want your food in a timely manner, every time ive gone here it takes forever to get anything and we're not talking about anything complicated. A taco and burrito took about 20 minutes, wasn't busy , about 3pm on a Thursday the last time I went

Note, this is not a drive-thru taco bell only a walk-in. But I did show up about 30 mins before it closed. There were 3 doordashers in front of me waiting. I waited in line patiently for like 10 mins while my husband circled the car around the neighborhood (there was no parking). Then the employee informed me they were not taking any new orders. He saw me standing there for 10 mins and then told me after 10 mins and there were 2 people behind me so we all left. Close the door or tell people when they walk in that you're closing early. Don't make us stand there and have our spouse drive around the block. I won't be coming back to this location.

Refused to fulfill my order 3 different times even though it was only receipt. They claimed it was “not in the system”. Absolute trash service and trash food. 0/10 as far as Taco Bells go.

Regular lunch spot, the food is always good. People are always nice. Two stars because I pay to more to customize my food on the mobile app and my order is always wrong. Line cooks: I don’t understand - there’s no translation errors, just read whats on the screen and pay attention. Frustrating: Some items have a high markup like the delicious grillers, which is a shame.

I came with a basketball team and I was front in line. I ordered, and slowly everyone else ordered too and got their food. I was the only one who didn't. Eventually, they realized that I was the only one still waiting and asked me what I had ordered. I told them and they came back with the wrong order. I told them again and they got it right that time. The food was also really really bad. Chipotle is 800,000% better so skip Taco Bell and go there instead.

This has been the worst Taco Bell experience of my life and I'm 35 years old. The cashier Gloria yelled at my son; told me they were out of rice for my chicken bowl so I asked for lettuce in place of the rice, she slams her hands on the counter in disgust as if my request was outlandish and then the bowl ends up having rice in it; the tables were all dirty; there were no supplies as in lids or mild sauce avaialable; the food was terribly prepared; my exchange student who is vegetarian didn't get her specific order right. All, just terrible. As a traveler with many kids, I at least expect to be able to feed my kids in an environment that promotes a pleasant atmosphere without getting yelled at by the workers that work here. Gloria, I hope you are trained better in the future because when I worked fast food, I was NOT allowed to treat my customers as she did us tonight.

They can’t even get an order right, and then they were too lazy to make it the right way. Horrible service. I also found multiple hairs in my beans… Never returning to this dump ever again, I don’t recommend it unless you like human hair in something you didn’t even order.

Worst service ever. Walked in and waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged, but still not helped. Covid19 going on so they were taking care of all the Doordash/Uber-eats people first and one after another who walked up to the counter after us, got taken care of. My 8 year old just wanted 1 burrito, and was watching all these people walk in the door after and get taken care of. I gave it another 10 mutes and finally walked out. I get it that they were inundated with online orders, but you have to take care of the walk ins too! Horrible!!! And my 8 year old was so hungry after a long walk and I thought it would be fast.

This is a place where homeless people congregate. They sit around it seems in their very own reserved area and do not order food. The manager Michelle , does not do her due diligence to fix the problem . ..she gives them free food and in fact she encourages all of this by taken one of them home, not to mention that she smokes marijuana with them right outside the taco bell. The smell goes into surrounding businesses .I am constantly harassed and often feel threatened. There is always a 3 legged dog that hangs out with them, It says that pets are not allowed, but that is also being ignored.this is this worst Taco Bell ever and gives the tourist driven town Of Monterey a bad look. We don't want to end up like San Francisco do we?

Spent $10 for two items (remember when TB was affordable?) I asked for a water cup when I got my food because some of us don't like chugging Flavored corn syrup from the fountain. I was informed that they "no longer have water cups". Not for (over)paying customers, nobody. This place sucks. Spend your $10 next door. Gross.

I’m sorry in advance to whoever works here I don’t want to see them lose they’re jobs but this place has to go put anything els in it’s spot please!. I’ve been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks to get the new chicken nuggets and everytime I went in they’re fryer is down and this time they apparently didn’t have any change for 100$ and no sign that indicated that so I waited in there for 20 minutes just to find out I couldn’t get my food because they didn’t have change. Please put a Popeyes or chipotle I think this community would benefit from this Taco Bell being replaced.

You have to order from the kiosk and if you want to pay with cash at the counter, nobody comes to take it. I just waited 15 minutes and walked out. Until they change something, I won’t be back. There are several Mexican restaurants within walking distance, so keep playin hard to get.
