Raymond Bernardo

One of my favorite Italian restaurants on Monterey’s Fisherman’s Wharf serves delicious and creamy grilled octopus and clam chowder. The margaritas are perfectly blended and refreshing. Their service is amazing, with friendly and very accommodating staff.

Hands down the best restaurant i’ve ever eaten at. We ordered Oysters on the half shell, we got a coupon for a free calamari appetizer and we settled on the King crab ravioli and the fish tacos as meals. Both were absolutely delicious. The food quality is unmatched and the drinks were so good. If i could eat here every day i swear I would. Our servers were super attentive and very quick with our orders. Best dining experience ever. 10/10 if you’re looking for a great and unmatched dining experience complete with a gorgeous view of the ward, this is the place to go!

We chose this by luck. We had the best Cioppino we ever had so far , fresh seafood selection and perfectly balanced broth. You get Delicious warm bread with butter , server was attentive and quick. We were very impressed! Definitely we will be back when we come back to the area again!

The food was superb = 5 stars My husband had the fillet of sole, prepared to perfection flaky and tender with a side of vegetables and mash potatoes. I had the scallops wrapped in bacon in a bed of the creamiest risotto. The bacon is so crispy and the scallops inside just melts in my mouth. Usually scallops are tricky. However, the cocktail is another story. I had the worst lemon drop cocktail I ever tasted and had to send it back. The bar tender gets zero star (sorry). I was there 3 other times while we were there for the week and ordered take outs. Their clam chowder is good.

Really nice crew that was very thorough and informative. They stayed near the whales long enough for plenty of photos, without disturbing them. The photographer, Daniel, took incredible, calendar worthy photos! The boat is small, so if you like smaller groups and can tolerate some extra tossing from the waves, this is a great tour to book!

Five stars for both service and atmosphere. I loved the location, the expansive windows, the seals, the pelicans, the seagulls. The entire wait staff was so kind and attentive. The food however was a bit lacking. The chowder bowl was an underwhelming portion, and the flavor didnt pop like I had hoped and didnt meet my expectations.

As excited visitor myself，many of my friends recommended this restaurant to us, but what happened tonight truly surprised me. The main issue was the service attitude… After we arrived, the waiter serving us—a middle-aged man whose name starts with the letter A， he had a very bad attitude！I don’t want to single him out too harshly, so I’ll only mention the initial of his name. Besides the appetizer, the three of us ordered three main dish (one seafood grill and two same pastas). The waiter only did two dishes back to us. When we asked about where is the other pasta？He said he only entered two main dish, and his attitude was extremely rude! I was shocked because I specifically emphasized that the pasta was two identical portions. After we followed up twice, he finally realized he had made a mistake, but still responded confidently with “I know, I know,” then walked away. There was no apology at all—not even a perfunctory one. When we were paying the bill at the end, I don’t know if he was trying to get a tip, but he finally said “sorry.” However, as I mentioned earlier, he acted very self-righteous the entire time. I was shocked by such an attitude, especially when the issue was clearly his fault. Although we still left a tip, he kept a dark face throughout. Lastly, I want to talk about the food. Overall, the food was quite good. I ordered pasta, and the portion size was surprisingly large, which I appreciated, and the taste was good. However, the problem was the dessert. I attached a photo of the sample dessert the waiter brought to our table. I ordered tiramisu, and the third photo shows the tiramisu I actually received. I don’t know if the restaurant is trying to save on the tiramisu mix, but honestly, the difference between what you show as the sample and what was served is far too big, which left me rather disappointed. Except for the waiter whose name starts with the letter A, the other staff members had very good attitudes. I don’t know if our waiter was having some kind of issue tonight, but to be honest, his overall attitude was baffling to me because he was extremely rude for no reason. I think the restaurant is a bit expensive — it cost $200 for 3 people. But overall, for the taste of the food, I’m willing to spend the money. However, because of the attitude of your waiter, I really wouldn’t want to come back here again.

I have to say I was extremely disappointed in the mussels. It was the reason I wanted to come here in the first place. Unfortunately it was the most expensive thing we purchased but it was the least fulfilling. When I mentioned it to our server, he said mussels vary in sizes. Which I understand. But I’ve eaten mussels my entire life. I’ve seen small mussels in small shells. But I’ve never seen anything like this in giant shells.

Made a reservation for Valentine’s Day for 8:45pm. We arrive a couple minutes earlier. There was a couple in front of us (no idea if they had a reservation). They took that couple and then turned to tell us there is no more food! I’ve never had this experience in my life. She suggested to go to the restaurant across from them (Cafe Fina) and their food was extremely better than Domenico’s—only know this bc we dined there the next day and I hated my crab stuffed prawn. It looks good in the picture, but taste is 0/10. Also they didn’t even offer a free drink for cancelling our reservation without telling us. The LEAST they could’ve done was call us and tell us they ran out of food. This was a terrible experience. Salmon tasted much better. I hate this place. (Forgot to mention the host remembered turning us down the previous night, so they could’ve easily offered a free drink). Instead we got those free Calamari cards that everyone gets there depending on time of day. I also hate fried calamari and let them know. They did not accommodate in ANY way.

We arrived before another walk-in group, and both parties were waiting to be seated. When the host came to seat us, we politely asked if we could have a window table, since we wanted our baby to enjoy the ocean view and stay away from the open entrance area. The host told us that the window tables were reserved, so we were given a table near the entrance instead. However, just moments later, the group that came after us — also walk-ins — were seated at one of those window tables. It felt very unfair and disappointing. We were looking forward to a pleasant family meal, but the way the host handled the seating left a negative impression. We hope the restaurant ensures fair treatment for all guests

Hello, We visited your restaurant on October 8, 2025, around 12 PM. We ordered two nonalcoholic cocktails, but what we received was just orange juice mixed with water — and it tasted bitter. We asked to replace it with Sprite, but the Sprite you brought was also diluted with water. Then, we found a piece of squid shell and a bone in our food. The clam chowder was completely dry, and I don't understand how that could cost $25. My friend ordered salmon, but it had no flavor, was burned, and was swimming in oil. The oysters looked and tasted strange, as if they were not fresh, and the seafood pasta had raw squid in it. If you charge such prices for this kind of food, please explain. Thank you for ruining my day.
