Lime Inn

Sat at the bar and Tommy was fabulous! Great drinks, delicious food, and Tommy’s a wonderful and fun bartender. We’ve been to the island many times and can’t believe we’ve never been to the lime in before. It’ll be one of our regular stops from now on.

I can't say enough about how good the food was here. The quesadillas, guac, the surturf tacos! All amazing. Just look at these pics!

Friendly owner & staff. Great service and food was brought out quickly ! The Virgin mango colata was amazing ! We came for the key lime pie and they put their own twist to it and it was by far the best dessert we have had on the islands ! Tacos and quesadillas were fabulous! We highly recommend this establishment for all the reasons !!!

After a long day of beach hopping we came to this gem before taking the Car Barge back to St Thomas. Parking is hard in this area. This joint offers free parking to those who stop in for a drink or food. The drinks were amazing! Did I mention they have weekly happy hour specials? This time they had buy one, get one free drinks. I will def be back. Special shout out to Tommy!!! Bartender extraordinaire!!!!

The Lime is a great spot for creative tacos and gluten-free options. The place has a chill atmosphere with patio seating. The staff is friendly and knows their stuff when it comes to menu hits and gluten-free options. Overall, great food, great drinks, and super accommodating for gluten-free diners. Definitely recommend if you're in town!

Come here every day - it is that amazing. So friendly and accommodating. Some of the best tacos you will ever have (from Cabo to El Paso). And don’t get me started on the drinks - a spicy Nene is the go to. Bonus points if Aaliyah is working.

Absolutely incredible spot. I loved it so much I kept going back all week. Matt and Aliyah were the best vibe for the night as bartenders. They made me feel so welcome and the drinks and food were to die for. Come for the drinks and stay for the staff

The tacos are delicious! The Hunter's Passion is the best drink I've had on the island. The Danger was also wonderful. Tommy was attentive, friendly, and quick. Great overall experience!

Delicious! Many different unique varieties of tacos, with yummy drinks! Relaxing, vibey atmosphere and great service. Everything is reasonably priced and good quality. Highly recommend!

We visited Lime Inn for the first time today and had Jairo as our server. Wow, what an experience! First, the food was AMAZING. Our tacos were seriously delicious. 10/10 recommend the Surfs Up Hey Hey and the K-pop Shorty. We also loved the Bless Up. And the drinks were fantastic too! Check out the hot sauce on the tables - made in house and so good! Jairo was very friendly and offered excellent service. He even told us about Lime Out (their sister swim up bar) and recommended things to do around the island. The entire staff was so welcoming. We will absolutely be back!

Nice decor, relaxed environment. There is a parking right next door to the restaurant for paid parking. We did an online reservation so table was ready. No air conditioning inside the restaurant but breeze was plenty. Nice and friendly service, food is decent. Dessert we did not really like. But nothing is perfect, service was alittle slow. Our parking $15 covers 2 hours and their service was slow and pushing the time. Overall nice experience

Came here two nights in a row, the food was amazing, I imagine there menu changes from time to time, but while I we were visiting I had the wahoo tiradito and the tuna tartar as my starters and the whole fish (snapper) as my meal ending with a brownie and a scoop for dessert, everything was phenomenal. Second night the Chef cooked up some special plates with mahi mahi and black fin tuna we caught (we had talked to him all night and got his approval of this the night before, pics in the review) in addition to the 4 course where I got the hog + the Buffalo (mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto with a balsamic glaze) and the sushi crab tapa with the fillet topped with crab, and key lime pie…Can not say enough how good the food was, add in a couple “the danger’s” cocktails and some 18 year flor de cana rum and the amazing people running this place it was exactly the type of place we needed on this trip. Thank you Lime Inn and especially Amarro and Siobhan!!!

We will definitely be back to the Lime Inn. We walked in without a reservation. Food was delicious. Drinks too! Aaliyah was an angel!

Tommy was a great host and bartender. You know the tacos will be good when the staff wears taco inspired high top socks in the hot Caribbean!

Best drinks I’ve had in STJ made by Tommy at Lime Inn! Amazing tacos! Got the KPop…hello flavor delicious! Ended with Demi Goddess because I love eggplant. Go, get Tommy to make your drinks.

If you visit St John USVI Lime Inn is a must!! The cleanest, most reasonable prices and most important the service is the best on the Island. The owner actually came over to our table to ensure we were happy and all set! Thank you Richard!!

We loved Lime Inn, can’t recommend enough! Wonderful service from Tommy and great drinks. Probably our favorite spot in Cruz Bay and the first with a proper portion of Tajin in the spicy margaritas. Ceviche and tacos were fresh and great portions.

This place is an absolute gem. The kind of mom-and-pop spot you hope never changes. The tacos are unreal — fresh, packed with flavor, and clearly made with care, not just thrown together. The bar side is just as good. Strong drinks, cold beer, and zero pretension. It’s the perfect mix of laid-back and lively — great for a casual dinner that somehow turns into “just one more round.” What really makes it special, though, is the people. You feel welcome the second you walk in. Friendly service, real conversations, and that neighborhood vibe that’s getting harder to find these days. If you like authentic food, good drinks, and places with actual personality, this is your spot. I’ll be back every chance I get. 🌮🍻

Man ! Highly recommend this place ! We gave it a try and had the best time! Jaero, the manager ... sets the tone and the atmosphere that he will take care of anything you need so you have a wonderful experience !!! Jaero made my trip!! I know we are tourists , But he made he made us feel welcome and appreciated our business! Dionny was our server , he is a pretty chill guy, however when you get him to crack a smile he lights up the place. He takes care of everything... wonderful service!!! Thank you all !!!

Christian was great! Exceptional recommendations and attentive service. The Key Lime Boom Boom was a great way to kickoff the evening. We especially enjoyed the G’day Mate grouper taco, delicious. Don’t sleep on the desert tacos either … 10/10 highly recommend and will return 😎

Just superb. The food was exquisite, the service was very friendly and very sincere. We ate at the Lime Inn twice during our stay on St. John and will visit every time we come here. Kudos all around!

Greeba was a great server. Quick to greet us at our table. Served our drinks quickly, and our food came out what seemed like minutes after ordering. Great vibes and atmosphere and friendly staff. The tacos were AMAZING! Thank you for a great first night meal while visiting the island. We will return.

Bartender was great and drinks were perfect! Food had great variety and creativity and made you want more. Overall fantastic place to visit and had the best rum on the island.

This is probably our 6th time in the last 2 years to either Lime Inn or Lime out and it did not disappoint once again. We were supposed to depart on Saturday but here we are 4 days later and truly can’t complain given it meant another visit and more tacos to Lime Inn. Tommy, the bartender, was super friendly and easy going - great experience all around. We absolutely will be back countless more times in the future, given our love for both St. John and Lime Inn!

Lexy and Uriah took great care of us tonight. We really enjoyed the Goddess tacos all vegetarian. We had the danger Margarita and Hunter's passion to drink. Will definitely be back before we leave.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner and drinks. Sat up at the bar. Very good service - bartender was very helpful and personable. The tacos were delicious, and we liked the variety to choose from. Definitely worth a visit.

BEST TACOS!! So many original flavors that are beyond delicious!! And don’t forget the Key lime taco for dessert. Lots of awesome and different types of tacos on the menu. Looks a little pricey at first, but two is a solid meal. The drinks are great and the BOGO happy hour from 3-5 pm is one of my faves on the island. Tommy, the bartender, is really helpful and knowledgeable about the island and makes 👌🏼 drinks. One of my fave spots on STJ for sure.

We had the pleasure of Shaquille as our server last night. He was attentive, cheerful, and made our evening truly enjoyable. He anticipated what we needed without ever being intrusive and kept everything running smoothly. Excellent service from start to finish.

We shared five tacos for two of us and that was the right amount of food. They were all good, our two favorite were the Galileo and Tuna Matata. Dionny was our server; he was very informative and helped us pick out winners.

Overall great experience, food was served quickly and drink menu had some dashes of lemongrass and tamarind. Loved the atmosphere, music, and team of servers, although Shakille was our primary charmer. We’ll be back!

All the food was great! The quesadilla and tacos were delicious and the drinks were strong! Avery and Hyro did a great job, will definitely come back!

Favorite spot so far! Service was fantastic! Tommy was our bartender and he was just the best. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and area! And the food was fantastic! My husband and I went for happy hour unintentionally and loved trying all the different drinks! The vibe is also laid back but really nice inside lol. We will be back!! First time visitors turned regulars for sure!

If tacos are your love language, then Lime in SJVI is basically your soulmate. 🌮💚 I’m giving it 4 stars because it seriously gets it—the flavors are bold, the vibes are fun, and the guac? Life-changing. The tacos hit the spot (especially the grouper ceviche ), and the margaritas are dangerously good. White wineor cold beer are great companions for some hot tacos. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars? Service can be a little slow when they’re packed, but honestly, it just gives you more time to vibe. If you’re craving tacos and a good time, you’re definitely in the right place.

The food was fantastic. Best meal we had on the island! Service was also good till the end when we were not given detailed bills and asked to tip. Only to realize they added a gratuity already and in the end received a 40% tip. Uncertain if the waiter knew what he was doing, as he was quite defensive, but luckily we caught it and the manager corrected it after a little of back and forth. In the end I say “hi eat here” just insist on a detailed bill.

Fun-ish Place! The tacos are individual so you can get a few and experience what they have, but also they are very expensive for what it is and I hate to say it, very MEDIOCRE! Good location for walking around the town after dinner but everywhere we ate well in the USVI this was one of the worst! I'm not sure how they make a taco mediocre but they nailed it!
