i placed an online order and the food was AWFUL! RAW shrimp, no veggies in order just NASTY! I called and spoke with the OWNER and he hung up on me! I then called off my husbands phone and the OWNER picked up the phone and hung up on me without saying a word! I will NEVER eat here again!

If you’ve been to a Japanese restaurant you know this is not good food. They show laziness by serving their food in plastic containers and using plastic silverware. The chicken was rubbery the steak was hard the soup had no chicken in it and was only broth. Tables were not clean. Food was the worse part of the experience. I would not recommend eating here

I tried to place an pickup order for me and my wife and a man answering the man couldn’t understand any English being said whatsoever and then eventually just hung up on me and wouldn’t pick up the phone and then did the same thing for my wife

The teenager on the register seems to not understand that her job is to take orders. This simple task apparently is too hard for her since she si ply did not charge for what the Osaka burrito I ordered. The rest of my party got their and I kept waiting and after about 25 minutes I got up to ask just to find her sitting looking at her phone and acting annoyed when I asked about my order, she said she didn’t ring it because “all she heard was burrito” and clearly asking what kind was too much effort?! This is literally your one job when at the register! I am a lost of words with the absolute stupidity of this situation and the pathetic disdain and disposition of the people that “work” here. Response to your response: Seems that reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit either, not only poor customer service. There was no double checking, only an admission by the girl who took the order that she “only heard burrito” and that’s why she decided to not take the order instead of doing her one job when at a restaurant register. Not even an apology or “hey, let’s do what every other food business does and try to make it better somehow” Beyond pathetic.

We were intrigued by the lobster burrito roll so decided to give this place a try. The steak and shrimp hibachi did not disappoint- however, everything was a dismal fail. The lobster burrito roll was served in a box even though we were dining in, and was disgusting. My ginger salad dressing had a funky taste, and did not taste anything like ginger. Our seaweed salad and ginger salads were served in to go containers even though we were dining in. The only dining utensils were chopsticks and very flimsy plastic forks. Service was sub-par. The green tea was served pre-packaged. It is definitely a one-&-done for us.

The owner is the meanest most non understanding human I have ever seen or heard. Treats people like dirt. The food is good. But I don’t think that takes the place of poor customer service. The staff was great but the owner yelling at staff and customers should be a arrestable offense. Pay attention to him when you go in. Would like to see him removed.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They literally would not take my cash money for a sushi roll because the corner of the $10 bill had signs of wear. Its almost like money isnt freshly printed and handed to you. The cashier let me order and go through the whole process MONEY IN HAND and then turned me away. I was looking forward to that sushi roll all week and I worked hard for that money.

Owner was extremely rude, was also called aggressive on multiple occasions by another customer in the restaurant. When I told them my steak was raw not rare I was screamed at. Was also yelled at because the cashier got our order wrong.

If you want quality food or even a decent atmosphere, go to rice and soy or Peking. The quality and quantity of the food at Osaka is poor and pitiful. Not to mention just plain inedible. We ordered calamari hibachi with white rice and the white rice tastes just how a dirty kitchen sink smells. The calamari smelled strongly of ammonia, and the one piece I did try tasted even more so of ammonia. Not to mention the texture is most definitely not calamari. I’m not sure what it is, but it is a mysterious disappointment. I’m so disgusted and disappointed with this place and consider this restaurant to be high risk. Next, the 3 people standing in the front who eventually took our order were just hanging out talking for a bit before asking what we would like to eat, and when I asked if we could do half fried rice and half white, it was a no can do. How is it that hard to do half and half??? Any other similar restaurant such as Panda Express, Pekíng or rice and soy will do this for me.. even a mall food court restaurant!! Unbelievable. After putting my order in and noticing that the 3 people working the front were hanging out while 2 guys behind them cooked our food, I genuinely felt bad as there was clearly plenty of work to be done. This place is rough!! The tables were all dirty, there were line divider polls fallen over by the soda fountain, the floor looks like it’d not been swept or mopped in 6 months, the rug in front of the soda machine desperately needs to be replaced or at the very least vacuumed or swept. The curtain leading to the hallway with the bathrooms has clearly never been cleaned, and both bathrooms were nasty. My partner and I each took a look in the respect restrooms and noped right out of there. It was nice that they gave us as much sauce as we wanted, but it’s not even worth giving away. The yum yum sauce has faint notes of cleaner and dirty water, and the spicy mayo is the farthest thing from spicy ever. Just odd greasy flavor that actually hurt my stomach. I’ve genuinely never been more disappointed in a food establishment and I have pretty darn low standards.

I called ahead to ask if there was a wait time before I arrived, and the person who answered the phone had an extremely heavy accent and clearly didn’t understand what I was asking. It made the whole conversation confusing and uncomfortable. When I got to the restaurant, the same person who answered the phone rung me up — and the poor customer service continued. They were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in assisting me. I did not feel welcomed or valued as a customer, and honestly, the interaction was frustrating enough that I don’t plan on going back.

I am changing my 5 star review to a 1 star because I tipped them last night, and this morning, another $8 pulled off my card meaning that somebody tipped themselves an extra $8 without our permission. Our meal was $36 WITH the tip, and this morning, that amount updated to $44. I won’t be back. I am also spreading the word that they are thieves and to take yourself somewhere else. This was my favorite place to eat, and I was a regular. Never again.
