This is a shout-out to Irwin and his team at this Del Taco. Anticipating my 11-hour day in class at the Culver City Pepperdine location, I took a chance to stop by this Del Taco location for a "breakfast bite". As a vegan, and as someone who during my childhood was a babysitter/nanny for the biggest owner of Taco Bells in the Inland Empire, I thought, "Why not!?" Irwin noticed that my order for a bean tostada without dairy toppings might not be enough. So, he suggested I order a veggie burrito, where they would remove the dairy. And, as it happens, this was a buy-one-get-one-free item. This was great because I had access to some other items later in the day, to eat the second burrito with something to balance things out. Thank you, Del Taco. You helped me to do a great deal of research on Eli Lilly and Company for a very important assignment. - Zoey

I usually come earlier in the evening and it's a pleasant experience. But I come around 1230 am and Elizabeth the manager was very rude and not customer friendly. She was more worried about the time clocking each person in the drive thru. I asked for a strawberry lemonade. They didn't have any, she offered a strawberry Sprite instead and I accepted. When I got to the window I did want to add 2 del tacos and she blew up. Telling I had to pay for what I ordered already then go back through again. I said no. She added the 2 tacos. And she was so mad. That she didn't give me my drink. When I called back she said she never charged me anyway. But if I wanted to come back up there okay. 1st gas is too high to be come back. 2nd as a manager is it that serious to not take a few moments to satisfy your customer? 3rd I'm a frequent flyer here. No one else has ever been rude to me like that. And to get that from a manager is disturbing. Do better Elizabeth. Do better. Wrong example to set for other employees. But obviously they dont take after your misconduct because it's never happened before.

I go regularly to del taco but they need to check their shells more often. The last time I went my shells were stale. Not fresh at all. I got a soft taco and the top part of the shell was almost as hard as my hardshell taco. Normally I would take My food back but it was to far from my house.

Boy. Check my reviews as I seem to eat a lot a Del Tacos. Anyways, this is a great spot and a must stop after seeing a show at the Forum. We always go for the large fries and a Diet Coke to soak up the $20.00 dollar beers we had. This last week we went and say Panic! At The Disco and stopped at this DT. As usual the service was great and the food did not disappoint. Try it, you will enjoy it. Hey what ever happened to macho fries coming in a cup with a hole in it. Good times. Good times.

Drive thru took 25 minutes. This was my first time at Del Taco and that wait is my only complaint. Food is cheap and tasty. Not much chicken on my quesadilla. But that white cheese sauce was a new level of food crack. Dipped my 'dilla, my rollers and fries in that sauce 😋 Would go back.

This place is pretty good in comparison to taco Bell. The food for reason seems fresher and the service in comparison is better. I went once when they were being robbed at this location though. That is why I per fer to use the drive thru instead of eating inside. But if you do not mind getting held up because you need some excitement in your life eat inside.

Del taco is a quick spot to grab tacos that are really a cheap price. Hey, everyone they brought back the strawberry shakes.

I went to try the new Birria tacos with consommé and I was somewhat disappointed. The consommé is really good, almost tastes homemade. The size of the tacos and the amount of fries I got was a joke. If this would have cost about $8 I would have been satisfied but it cost me almost $12 for 2 tiny tacos (pictured in this review), a small fry and a small drink. I ended up pouring consommé into my second taco and even drank it like a soup to avoid wasting it. This is too expensive to throw away leftovers. Other than that the location has a great atmosphere. It brings back childhood memories as I last visited here in the mid 90's. It's near the Fox Hills Mall and in a nice part of Culver City. But I probably won't be getting Del Taco again anytime soon due to inflation.

Havent been here in 20+ years. Ordered two crunchie tacos. They pretty tasty . Can you believe they had meat, cheese that you can see , plenty of lettuce and tomatoes. Better then the others ive had. Not sure what else is on the menu.

Better than most Del tacos except the morning shift e.g. 4 AM to 6 AM M-F the woman who handles the drive thru orders needs to get her hearing checked or better head set 'cause she gets the orders wrong more often than not and winds up getting the quantity of food you ordered wrong even if you speak loudly and clearly. drive through on any given day takes twice as long as any other drive through.( that's being generous). this is also a Hotspot for where homeless live. nothing against them but almost every time I go, you'll find a homeless person standing in line near the menu trying to get food from you or one just drugged out. they do have private security tho that seems to take care of them quickly if they become an issue. definitely worth visiting tho!

The food didn't agree with me. The beans tasted really bland. I've got a cast iron stomach so that rarely happens. It was quick and easy to drive thru. The price is a little high for what I got. Even for cheap Del Taco prices.

This location is right off of the 405 freeway on Jefferson. Probably a couple blocks down. It is a very busy intersection but convenient to reach in a pinch. The bathrooms were clean and the restaurant generally was well kept up. This area has a lot of homeless people traveling the streets but they usually don't stick around too long. I had a snack and an iced tea and the ice tasted like it was not very fresh.

My fave Crispy Chicken Tacos w/ chipotle flavor sometimes are given w/ cold or barely warm chicken. Had to enter once to explain to Supervisor at counter but got them back extra tasty and hot.

For the 1st time I probably ever had food from this branch, I wish my tortilla would have been warm on my fish tacos. 📒✍ no real wait so I can't even blame it on it being really busy. Hopefully there will be many years before I find my self in the need to stop by because there isn't much else open and I'm hungry and far from home. Ehh. I've eaten here a few times, because I'm broke right now. But I gotta say, im not happy with the portions at this specific spot. I usually get the chicken rollers, because its an inexpensive way to get protein in. However, they barely put any meat in it. Its almost just cheese and sauce. And this has happened several times. Considering that each is 3 bucks after tax, I expect at least arund 20g of protein. But thats not realistic at this location.

Went there today on my way to work like I always do. However this time when I had gone to the location I was a tad dissapointed. First off there was only two workers handeling eberything a food prep and a cashier. Fine I understand. Except when I had asked to use the restroom it was a mess it appears as though there is a bad leak on the floor don't know if it was urine or cleaning solutions. However when I had ordered an 8 layer beyond the meat burrito there was hardly any meat in the burrito. Noticing this I had asked them to maje me a fresh one. Normally I would not complain except the meal was about 8.75 so I expect the burrito to be of good quality. Furthermore I hope my experience in the future will improve and I wont have to deal with an issure like this again. Thank you for reading cheers

I ordered my food this very night Oct 8th 2019. I LOVE Del tacos chicken tacos but tonight it was so dry and no sauce was found inside. I was so disappointed! Then my bf was going to eat his nachos only to find hair in it!! We both immediately stopped eating and into the trash it went! Im so disgusted smh

I like coming here for the food, but most of the staff here seems to dislike their work. Several times I have gotten wrong orders, I wonder why? And to make things worse management don't seem to care much. That's why places go out of business. I would hate for this place to go out of business I will be getting in contact with corporate maybe they will pay attention.

The employees here waste their time telling you what your responsibility is and saying they do not know how to operate their own app. Poor quality service over here employees act uninformed. While at the same time trying to teach you how to make their life easier regarding the app. The cashier straight up said she doesn't know how to use the app. And told me it was my responsibility. Very poor service.

I ordered a wet burrito Plato and asked for guacamole on the side and they asked if I wanted chips and I declined and requested just the guacamole. As I pull up to the window I’m greeted with a drink that had a top that wasn’t properly secured(I’m just so ready to spill tea all over me highlight of my day) and I asked for a new top and was told that’s how they are they sent the wrong top. As I get back to work for my lunch to my unpleasant surprise I had no guacamole and some chips and I’d been charged for both(remember I declined the chips) and they couldn’t refund me because I wasn’t there and I don’t plan on going back so that’s a loss I’m going to have to take. Great way to spend your lunch when you wake up at 4 in the morning for work don’t you say.

The whole experience was bad. After waiting a long time in drive thru with only one car ahead of me, I had to repeat my order thru speaker at least 4 times. The girl act like she could barely hear me or wasn't paying attention.They advertised shrimp tacos but did not have any. When I got to the window I wanted to add a chicken taco to my order and the girl told me they are not taking add ons at the window because its too many cars in line. Which is not my fault. Went to another location 5 min away, much better experience on La Tijera.

I have enjoyed the food at Del Taco for more than ten years. I had not gone there yet this year until recently. When I ordered my usual guacamole and tacos, the recipe was changed. Instead of the guacamole being mostly avocado, it is now mixed with other vegetables that completely mask the avocado taste. The tacos recipe has also changed. In a word - disappointing

My food wasn't fresh. The fries were cold, as well as the snack taco I purchased. With only two cars in the drive-thru, mines, and the car ahead of me, you'd think that service wasn't going to take as long. I waited approximately 10 min. plus only to receive subpar food and service. I won't be revisiting this particular location.

The staff are incredibly nice and the place is easy to get in and out. However, the store is incredibly under staffed. I see the employees with their tails off to keep up on demand, and this can be as late as 11pm. Whoever is running the place treat your employees with more respect and hire more people. You are making plenty of profit with how much business you get (again there's a line at 11pm and later) so don't pocket that extra profit, use it to hire more employees and give them better pay. I see that you are in the process of hiring more, perhaps people might actually apply it you pay more and don't over with them as much. It's simple business, stop being greedy.

Waited at drive thru for like 20 mins, I wd not have even waited that long! Dont know what was going on. Lady at the actual ordering speaker sat there even longer. Hears the guy come on saying something about sorry. We waited 5 more mins and nothing! We came off a six hr flt. Starving. We left.

They are not open 24 hours. I came to this del taco at 9:30 pm and the guy over the speaker told me that they weren’t taking orders. I asked why it’s 9pm it says you’re open 24 hours. He said we can’t help you goodnight! He was rude about it too. I asked what their business hours were and got no response. Don’t come to this del taco unless you want to waste your time.

You can tell a lot about a restaurant by visiting the restroom. If the Restroom Is Dirty, the Kitchen Is Dirty. This is one of the most important rules of thumb in a restaurant: If the staff doesn’t care enough to keep a place that the public uses clean, how much attention do you think it pays to cleaning a place that’s out of public view? Next, If the Soap Dispenser Is Empty in the Restroom, the Kitchen Crew May Have Dirty Hands. Sure, there might be a sink in the kitchen, but if an employee uses the restroom and starts washing their hands only to realize that there’s no soap left, they’re probably not going to seek out soap. Think about it: If a restaurant doesn’t care enough to service its restrooms often enough to prevent the garbage can from overflowing, how much does it care about keeping everything else clean? I know the staff gets busy, this Del Taco gets a lot of customers, I recently informed the Manager that wears glasses, that the restroom needed attention, I said it nicely, I said “excuse me, ma’am the restroom ran out of toilet seat covers and the dispenser has no soap, her reply was “So?” as she shrugged her shoulders. Now, at this point the Manager has probably noticed or the bitter older lady employees have informed her that I only come in to use the restroom, therefore she doesn’t respect me or anything I have to say since I haven’t purchased any food at this location for over six months now for a good reason... Dead Roaches on the Top Ceiling Light Panels right in front of the Registers. I use to love this Del Taco. Around 6 months ago, I came in to order my daily fix of cheesecake bits and cup of coffee, while standing in line waiting I looked up and noticed dead critters on the ceiling panel, you can clearly SEE them and they are STILL currently there up-to-date. I love Del Taco and use to buy food at this location DAILY. I have bank statement receipts proving my loyalty to this place until the critter discovery. I stopped buying food here since then, these days I only use the restroom here after my shift before getting back on the road, I now drive to the Del Taco off Manchester by LAX. Today I had, as soon as I walked in the Manager and this other lady employee were having a LOUD Spanish discussion in the kitchen about how I only come in to use the restroom? what they didn’t know is that I speak and understand Spanish, I wasn’t going to say anything but they kept going on about it, I can hear them clearly while I’m in the restroom that’s how loud they were, I went to go wash my hands and once again there was no soap in the dispenser, the Manager needs to do better in getting her priorities and responsibilities with this restaurant, she is clearly worried about the wrong unnecessary things, there’s still the broken lock on the other restroom that still hasn’t been fixed, the toilet paper dispensers are clearly installed incorrectly and should’ve been installed higher so that getting toilet paper isn’t such a hassle, fire the Pest Control vendor and hire better Pest Control service, all she has to do is contact the Property Manager for these issues to get rectified, a phone call or email for a little preventive maintenance goes a long way. the night shift manager is just as bad, Like the other reviewers said, RUDE MANAGER. She has an accent works the Drive-thru at night. Hopefully one day the neighborhood Del Taco will hire responsible Management.

Dine in is closed bc of their reason, so many folks had to leave, we fortunately called ahead for a window pick up since our rig is too big. They give me vanilla shake instead of mint. They didn't put green sauce on the bean&cheese burrito. No napkins in the bag. I hope it's just a rough day&not the norm. And the COKE is DIET! Eik! We ordered regular coke.

Quick stop on my way to work and not even worth a star to be honest. Not the best customer service, they gave me stale fries and there was a big chunk of halfway cooked chicken in my burrito. Lost my appetite.

I have visited this Del Taco several times all great experience. This time I had a bad experience, I was over charged and told it was my fault. I try to talk to him and suggest it could him not me he said no. Please keep in mind just to ask him that I had drive back around no walk in available. There was a compromise but I didn't trust him to prepare my food. This is first survey of a conplained.

Middle-aged cashier that works mornings on Tuesdays and other mornings is terrible at her job. She seems to always be on a personal phone call when I go through the drive-thru which distracts her from her job duties. Her distracted service manifests itself into problems which leads to her getting upset with me for things that are 100% her fault. Case in point, there's been numerous times where she's placed the credit card reader too far out of reach for me to insert or tap my card to make a payment because she was too preoccupied at looking at her phone. Then, after a few seconds, she'll snap at me with a 'what's taking so long to pay' tone as if it's my fault that I haven't inserted my card yet when it's 100% her fault for not placing it closer to me and being unaware of this 30 seconds after the fact because she's too preoccupied with whoever she's talking or texting. Also, she's always asking me to insert my card in the reader when I have a tap option capable card. I'll tell her, "Why can't I just tap my card instead of inserting it". She'll snap back, 'just insert the card!!!'. Often times, inserting fails and then she'll ask me to tap and my payment always go through. Why are we playing the insert-credit-card-in-reader charade when tapping my card is an option? It's so stupid and unnecessary. Not to mention, I have to deal with her b.s. whenever inserting my credit card doesn't go through, which is virtually all the time. All the unpleasantness would be prevented if she just paid a little more attention to what she's supposed to be doing and what she's supposed to be paid to do.

Been to over 75 locations across Southern California, and can honestly say this is the single worst Del Taco location bar none. Blunt, unfriendly staff, self card use at the window, shorted food in the bag, shorted condiments requested and long wait times up to 12 min per car. I will NEVER come here again. If you want even a slightly pleasant experience, go elsewhere.

FIRST: I LOVE Del Taco. The food is prepared fresh and as a vegetarian, they have tons of options. THIS LOCATION: I come because it's the only Del close to me. The wait time at this location - zero cars or many in front of you - is always twice as long as any Del I've been to. The orders come out consistently wrong, and the staff here things proper mask wearing is optional (it’s not).

I visited and ordered food for myself and my wife. I asked the manager on duty for hot water to warm up a bottle so I could feed my son and she told me and my wife there was no way. They had hot water but were unable to figure out a way for me to feed my 11 month old son by simply warming up a cold bottle. I ended up standing over the bathroom sink with the hot water on. This is the "service" from the store manager. I know it's a fast food place but.. be human, decent or at least treat your customers better. Zero stars.

Lazy employee closes the restaurant at 9:30 on a Tuesday and sits in his car probably letting the clock run and gets paid when the closing hours are far later, 4am as shown online. I drove 4 miles to come here to eat just to be shut out by a young male lazy employee wearing a black LA hat who didn’t feel like preparing the order. This employee is a thief and I believe fraud is occurring at this location.

Went inside since I thought it would be quicker than the drive thru. There was no one else inside. Waited for about 5 minutes. A couple of the employees walked by but didn't say a word. Waited another 5 minutes. Nothing. So I just left. They didn't even seem to be that busy.

Went through the drive-through. The intercom was broken. Waited 20 minutes with only 3 people in line at 9pm. Ordered the food. They put a full Fiesta Pack in a small thin bag (that's almost 4lbs of food). The bag ripped when they tried to give to us and spilled all over the ground. No apology. No, "We'll get you another one". The manager tried to blame us. We asked for our money back. Never again.

Smelled bad, crap service and they declined to take my order, needs some improvement even on the managements end. If i have to report this where would i go i noticed the young boy working on the other side of the register was also discriminating me based on my form of payment. So sad and pathetic and i will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone in my community in the future thank you.

I really hope corporate can see this review. This is one of the worst locations ever. This place has unprofessional staff, it's always dirty, there's sketchy people in the dining room, staff do not take your order promptly, The staff seem rather interested in talking amongst each other, talking to customers in the dining room, I've seen customers walk out because no one's acknowledged them when they come in. I would never come to this location again. It is one of the worst Del Tacos to visit.

I usually come here about 3-4 times a week after I get done working 13 hour shifts because it's very close to home and I'm too tired to cook anything afterwards, but unfortunately I am officially done coming here. They have gotten my order wrong 3 times in the last week and a half. Missing item first time, completely different order the 2nd time, and a steak quesadilla with no steak (3rd). I am not sure if it's someone new that's working but I can't keep coming home and finding out I have to drive back to fix the order.

This location always seems to be closed for some reason but the staff is inside are there. In the dining area they block the doors with a chair so that no one enters and this is during lunch time. I feel that management here should be reprimanded or even terminated for keeping the doors locked during business hours due to possible emergency or fire where people inside will be trapped. They won't take your orders at the drive-thru or at the window maybe they're working or maybe they're not but it's a 24-hour location but yet they're closed and people are inside.

I must admit I go to this Del Taco a lot because it’s close by and convenient. Unfortunately, and this is the honest truth, it’s in a rich, safe area, but the place itself is really ghetto. Expect to stand in line because the staff is in no hurry to take your order. Expect the cashier not to smile or be pleasant, and for added bonus, if he’s male and you are too, to refer to you as “boss,” with the inane homey accent they actually think sounds good or have no culture or education to think otherwise. The others, mostly women, are loud and will yell in announcing for you to pick up your order. I can only eat here when I’m in a good mood, and I know no negativity can shake me. Don’t expect a cheery, nice, cuddles service here, please. Think ghetto LA—I’ll thrash ya’ if you look at me too long kind of a vibe. BTW: Forgive me if this sounds too harsh, but the place’s decor looks dated and is often filthy. The food is mediocre here too. Not the best but probably not the worst Del Taco you’ll ever eat at. Waited in drive-through for 30 minutes. Took my debit atm card then said they only take cash. One of the workers said there was a sign posted. Let me tell you there was no sign posted anywhere !!! The workers acted if I was a nuisance. I called Del Taco Corporate, and I told them never again that there are too many issues with most Del Taco locations. The staff act like they don't give a damn about their customers. So why even go here?!? Ever again.

I select Del Taco rather often as a healthy fast food/vegetarian option, specifically this location. I work in Pharmaceutical Sales, drive substantially long distances daily, and frequently depend on public restrooms. I was almost home, but ran in and kindly asked to use the restroom. The young lady told me only customers may use the restroom. I responded this was not a problem, I would make an unnecessary/undesirable purchase, but to please quickly grant me access to the restroom. Next, a rude male employee stated earlier that day, a woman said she would buy a food item, occupied the restroom, but did not keep her word and left. Frustrated, I told the young lady to charge me for a taco, give it to a homeless person, and let me in the restroom! The restroom was disgustingly filthy, and I realized when I walked out into the restaurant area, the entire place smelled horrible! Poor, unprofessional service/human behavior, deplorable environment; I WILL NEVER drive-thru for vegetarian tacos EVER again! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!

People are fine. The food and the management that tell workers to be so skimpy on the food is ridiculous! My tacos were like qeusadillas! I almost took them back without requesting a refund. And of course, the shake machine was broken.

I came to get something fast on the drive-true and they had me waiting for a long time, just to have someone just laugh and never take my order. It was like this for almost 15 minutes into I just decided to leave and go somewhere else. It was at 3 am if your not going to take orders just close the store what a wast of time.

Terrible, they always get the order wrong whether drive thru or ordering inside to go. They are usually closed early at the entrance have no idea why ? I always order the same thing, two #2, two #3 and two# 7. How simple is that ? I always come home and it’s wrong ! And always different prices. I repeat the order, verify and still wrong. I have had it with this place, never going to return and all these reviews are terrible, no wonder why…..

Last time I’ll be going here this is the second time I’ve received cold fries you can tell they take nothing serious at this location. This location doesn’t have enough volume to keep fresh fries or drop them. I encourage locals to steer clear of this location due to poor service and a lack of standards.

Arrived at 5am no response to speaker box I pulled to the window completely lit up but no answer when I pulled in there was a guy sitting in a black car passenger side smart water on top of car. I pulled back around and I asked him where they open he said he was on break lol it’s now 5:31A and he is still not at the window so I’m making the review while waiting and he is no where to be found might wanna hire someone who wants to work you guys are paying him to sit in the car 🤭

One of the most disgusting places to go to so far I went twice ordered a quesadilla.They put chicken in and I tell them no meat every time. They charge an arm and a leg but they can't get the order right.I would never go there and suggest anybody not

I have never seen customer service as bad as it is here. Their motto seems to be “the customer is always wrong”. If I were the owner, I’d be concerned for my investment. Based on the way my family and I were treated by the manager this evening, we will never go back.

Went through drive thru to pick up my online order got told that my order never went through I show them my order confirmation refused to give me a refund or my food. Manager argued back and refused to help.

There's a plate advertising : "drivers pickup your order INSIDE", but the advertise is lying if you arrive after 7pm, the main door will be closed with a chair!

I would have gladly given them zero stars if I could. I've given this location so many chances to redeem themselves. The service is the worst. I've ordered online, and every time I pick up my order, it apparently didn't go through. I know they are lying because I've never had a problem with any of their other locations. The employees here do not want to work, especially the night shift, and even if they do, they somehow mess up the order. I don't know, I'm done with this location.

Next time it would be nice to have a little chicken with my sour cream taco. I couldn't even eat it - straight to the trash. What a wasted trip. The guy on the drive through microphone was very nice.

I ordered delivery on the Del Taco app from this location. Almost 40 minutes after I placed my order I received a call from Door Dash saying they were out of hamburgers, so my order couldn't be completed. Thanks for the heads up Del Taco! My order was supposed to be delivered 10 minutes later... and you have Door Dash let me know my order isn't coming! Great customer service!

Their cook was eating food and touched his mouth and ate out of the food he was preparing! When I called Del Taco corporate to report this, they didn’t seem to take it very seriously. So gross. The portions are not as reflected in the pictures. Their staff picks and chooses favorites who they will provide good service to. They helped the man in front of me and got his order much quickly than mine. That is the point of fast food is fast service. I will never be back and want to puke after I saw their cook eating.

If I could give them negative stars I would. I feel disrespected almost at how disgusting my food was and luckily I inspected the chicken quesadilla taco before biting it because lord knows what could’ve happen. I’ve never seen chicken like that before in my life its almost like it sat out for days and they threw all the crumbs up in there no one is that desperate del taco! Absolutely disgusting 🤢 that one star goes to the cheesecake bites but even that was sus. The chicken tenders look like sad boomerangs I was really upset when I received this food luckily grubhub has great customer service because I was not about to pay for any of that it went straight in the trash where it belongs.

It says they're open 24 hours, but have a cone in the drive thru. I guess they're closed. But..... It says open 24 hours, But the drive thru open 24 hour sign is off. And a car just came out of the drive thru. I called 3x but no answer. Minutes pass and one guy walks up to the drive thru as you can see in the picture. And he says they're on break but helps the guy. Bad business.
