This place is absolutely amazing. There's sushi is incredible. It's soft as butter, and yet incredibly tasty. You don't need to dip some of them in soy sauce because they put a little bit of flavoring on top. And it makes for an incredibly delicious sushi. The chef here is amazing. He makes it so fast. And all the pieces are just the right size. To put in your mouth, this is the best sushi I've ever had. The service here is impeccable. All the staff are Constantly walking by looking and picking things up if you set down an empty bowl, they are there to pick it up within a minute. And they do it without interrupting, or getting in the way they're so attentive and they don't interrupt you. They are very pleasant. They bring you the sushi within a couple minutes of when you order it. And it just makes you feel so special. The atmosphere is very simple and clean and beautiful. When you walk in here, it's like you're walking in Japan. The sushi the service Is this the atmosphere is that good
The seared salmon and tuna were absolutely unforgettable, just as I remembered. What makes this omakase experience so special is that you can keep enjoying dish after dish until you feel completely satisfied. Truly grateful to Uzumaki for such a delightful meal!
Fantastic sushi spot with good value. The Uzumaki sets are great - salmon and hamachi were standouts. The toro roll and unagi were worth it as well. Hidden gem would be the fish kaarage - the fish was so soft and flavorful, highly recommend over the chicken one Service is super quick and on point - they're always busing dishes and food came out quickly. Great for when you want something a little nicer but don't want the full Omakase
Great place, Amazing food. The ambiance is good not great. This place could be a fine dining experience but it is more of every day great sushi place m. One the best dish quality I have had in Los Angeles. The food is very simple but it’s extremely delicious. This a very difficult task to achieve. No unnecessary flavoring trying hard to make the food taste better. The service was very good , very fast. I love ginger and I hate that I have to continually ask for more. They kept my ginger plate full the whole time. I only wish they would take reservations as hate waiting for my table. I will be returning with my wife and friends for more. The albacore and yellowtail were to die for, Amazing. Over all rating 4.5 5 for sushi / fish 5 for service 4 for ambiance 3 for not taking reservations
The food is AMAZING and the staff is extremely nice and helpful! Service comes quick and the food never disappoints. The sushi is well priced too—it’s not too expensive! I got 3 rolls for under $40.
One of my favorite sushi spots in all of L.A. Incredibly friendly service, fresh fish and a minimalistic yet comfortable environment. Tables are spaced out pretty nicely, they don't pack you in like sardines. Basic menu, kind of in a "Sugar Fish" stlye, but much better and superior service. Thank you Uzumaki!
I’ve been here many time before we got all lockdown. So today I was craving sushi and Uzumaki is my top choice in mind. The food was delicious as always. The quality of the fish is top notch, and the ingredients are top notch. The pickup process was worry free and seamless. Please support your local restaurant industry during the difficult time.
Amazing food. Superb quality. Great service. Nice staff. Clean, minimalistic decor.
Highly recommend this hidden gem. It offers excellent customer service on par with high end restaurants in addition to good quality sushi. Prices are reasonable. Parking is plentiful on the street.
Delicious sushi. I enjoyed the karaage, the unagi nigiri, and my dining partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Uzumaki Plus,’ which included 8 pieces of nigiri + ceviche + a choice of either spicy tuna or crunchy shrimp roll (spicy tuna was better). The Asahi draft, Kiusui sake, and small bottle of Yamakatsu sake all hit the spot and completed our meal. Was well over $200 but money well spent here!
Really fresh and tasty sushi in chill atmosphere. The restaurant here is kind of real Japanese sushi one, which means they focus on the fish and rice only, not the sauce like others. Price is a little high but I think it's acceptable thanks to the very good quality of foods and service. Will come back when I got to this area.

Gotta give them 5 stars ✨ The restaurant is very clean and their fish are fresh! 🐟 I highly recommend this place to anyone who love to eat fresh fish • Great service as well !
Very lively spot with great energy - and hands down the best sushi in Culver City. The fish is incredibly fresh, everything is beautifully prepared, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff is genuinely friendly and truly take care of every customer. You feel welcomed and looked after from the moment you walk in. Definitely our go-to sushi spot in the area.
I eat here every ~2 weeks, and honestly it's not enough. The fish some of the freshes and most delicious I've ever had. The staff is attentive and friendly. The vibe is cozy but lively. I bring every friend visiting town here, just as an excuse for me to go again. Can't recommend it enough. Specifically you've got to try the toro, salmon belly, unagi and if available the albacore belly. All of them are unmatched.
My go-to neighborhood sushi spot. The fish is excellent quality, love their crispy rice, and they have a great sake selection. Servers are awesome and they’re great with my dairy allergy (everything is safe). Highly recommend!
My wife i visited on Saturday night for the first time, this was recommended by a friend, Had such a great time at the restaurant! The food was absolutely divine—every dish had so much flavor, and you can really tell that Chef puts a lot of heart into what he does. Big compliments to the kitchen! The service was also top notch. —friendly and helpful. highly recommend, defiantly going back again.
Great if you like torched salmon nigiri and other delicious fish. 2nd time here and I still enjoyed the omakase here. The staples of seared salmon and tuna really lived up to memory. The charm of this omakase is that you can continue until you’re full. Wish we had appetite to taste the entire menu, but we ended at about 20 pieces. Each plating round felt like opening a pack of collectible cards since it’s a mystery, if you know what I mean. The servers were attentive and plates and trash were taken promptly. No reservations, street parking is free after 6pm, and they have a free parking lot turning right on Washington blvd onto Tilden ave. Casual to semi formal dining experience.
First time here with a friend and it was amazing! Every piece of sushi was fresh, juicy and tasty, enough to elicit a happy dance with every bite! My friend and I ordered the spicy tuna and salmon roll. The sushi could literally melt in your mouth. Service is as very fast, attentive and kind. Our ginger dishes never ran out and water was always full in our cups. Overall ambience was very casual. Best to get there at 5pm when they open. The restaurant fills pretty fast after 6pm. Would recommend 10/10!!

Excellent local sushi spot! Staff are friendly and food is always on point. We always get the uzumaki plus set menu, which is a great value.

This place is the BEST. The service is always great. It's where we go for all of our special occasion or if we want the best sushi in town. You won't regret it.
Excellent sushi restaurant with fresh and tasty fish. The food is truly the best part and really an extension of art. But, donut/Ice-cream is just OK tasty.

Good sushi. Fresh except the crispy rice tuna was ok. Only if the rice has been hotter. Server was great. Suggested a lot of good items.

Good sushi restaurant but could be a lot better. I’d give it a 3.5 rating but Google does not let you give half stars. Wait time was around 35 minutes before we got a table. It was really cold in the waiting area even with the heaters (they didn’t let us wait inside). There was only one party ahead of us, but it still took a long time to get seated. Once we were inside, we could tell the staff very busy. Servers were walking back and forth pretty fast while also fulfilling tons of online orders. They were very friendly, but we could tell it was hectic. Most of the food was good quality and had good flavor. We ordered the crispy rice with tuna, the vegetable tempura, the scallop cut roll, the lobster/scallop hand roll and two combos. The salmon nigiri tasted a bit too fishy and had the most wasabi out of all the rolls. The rest of the sushi was good, but nothing that really caught my attention, especially for the price. Overall I enjoyed most of the sushi, but I won’t be coming back at peak hours because I would not want to wait as long again. I was also disappointed with the quality of the salmon because I was expecting a lot better quality for the prices.
