Opinions de Apple Green Bistro Cupertino
Our friends took us here for the sesame bread, it was quite tasty. She also ordered seafood egg tofu, beef chow fun, stir fry bok choy, and spicy cabbage with chicken. The flavors and textures were good even the presentation. Service was quick and efficient.
Most foods are very good. Parking is very good. Wait times are reasonable. 4 1/2 stars if they have one…not 5 nor 4. 😃 Prices are very reasonable. Pretty roomy. Can’t go wrong if you give it a try. Lots of selections to choose from good to average. Linh’s recommended.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A regular haunt/takeout place for my family! Food is always pretty good, with some interesting dishes like the "lamb on fire" in the video. Among our favorites are the grilled fish in spicy sauce (烤鱼), sesame bread with green onion (芝麻大饼), and black pepper beef (铁板黑椒牛肉). They typically have tables open when we go, and the decor is pretty nice with wood tables and chairs. Bring cash if you want some discounts and a free dish!
Yum!!! Try my favorite dishes! (Note: they are spicy)
Don’t be fooled by the photos on the outside of the shop or the name! We thought this place was vegetarian, but thankfully it’s not, and the food blew us away! Ordering: Contactless via QR code, and they have photos for just about every dish Food: INCREDIBLY flavorful and very authentic! My bf is from Szechuan, and he loved all the spicy dishes (it’s not too numbing so you can still taste the food under the spice)! Our favorite that we got was the tofu ribbons - loved the texture and the flavor! Plus, if you spend over $55 and pay wish cash, you get a choice (from a small list) of a free dish. We got the cold spicy noodles, and it was so refreshing and on point for a hot day! Service: Very fast, but don’t go in with the expectation of having a server come to your table every other minute. If you want something, just wave the server down!
Came for dinner. Food was still great. Ordered chilli fish fillet, apple green house fried rice, Chinese watercress vegetable, and orange chicken. Everything tasted good. Service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed good food and company at Apple Green.
Very clean. The food is excellent and comes out extremely quickly. The Plaza it's located in has a lot to offer
We were very happy to find this Schezuan restaurant in Cupertino village. They have a large menu. We tried the More Spicy Fish Fillet and Spicy Lotus Root which met our craving for spicy food that evening. We also tried the green onion pancake, fried prawn, chicken chow mein - all good. We thought the beef noodle soup was too salty, but the still good with chewy noodles and tender beef chunks. For drinks they only have beer and soda and water. The staff is friendly. I like that they packed the leftovers for us nicely. The place is busy so expect to wait. Service is very quick.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants during COVID. Delivery/pick up are super convenient, and the food is always high-quality. They can accommodate different flavor preferences (e.g. no spicy, less oil etc.) and they also develop new dishes every now and then. The crab shown in picture is one of the newest dishes and it tastes really good :)
The food is delious! An added bonus is that the place is open late. The portion sizes are very generous so you can share a plate between three people. This is defently a good family style resturant and late night pit stop.
The food here has a fragrant distinct aroma and you can tell they have good chefs here. The egg white scallop fried rice was moist and flavorful, paired well with the peppers fried chicken!

Our fav Chinese restaurant of all time! Authentic, and a lot of amazing special dishes like Sichuan specialities. The house fried rice is my favorite fried rice ive ever had, and their spicy fish fillet is so so amazing yet shockingly cheap ($20 for a huge bowl). Great for families and gatherings!! As somoene whos allergic to walnuts, they always accomdate well when i ask for honey prawns without the walnuts .
Huge portion sizes and relatively inexpensive! Also very tasty! We will be back here for sure! Our first time here and we definitely over ordered because we didn't expect the portion sizes to be as big as they were!
We had lunch here when we were visiting from out of town. We found the food to be fresh, tasty, and pleasantly presented. The quantities are large, so two bowls and some chicken fried rice was way too much for two people, but we enjoyed the meal immensely. The service was friendly and quick and we enjoyed the restaurant.

The food and service are good, but the price may be a bit high, three courses + tip $80. We love the iron plates seafood tofu , probably is the best in the Bay Area !
I came here with my parents and it was a no-frills chill Chinese place! Good: - Quick place, the food came out minutes after we ordered! - I liked the seafood hot plate with tofu - The A choy dish was healthy tasting, not too oily - Dim place, quiet, and good for catchups Bad: - Not much service, takes a while to flag someone down Overall, it is a nice place for quick authentic Chinese food! Reasonable price wise as well.
Large selection of Chinese dishes from cold, spicy dishes like couple beef, to large, standard family affairs like steamed fish and lobster. The place is spacious and clean, with decent service. I liked the specialty spicy dishes (spicy chicken with noodles) which could have been spicier, as well as the green onion lamb and duck yolk pumpkin. Only downside was the seafood tofu soup, which basically tasted like hot water with proteins from the sea. Spiced that up with the sauce from another dish to salvage it.
Delicious northern Chinese food, good place to try new dishes. Very fast service, friendly staff. Amongst our favorites seseme bread with scallions, lotus roots, cold shredded spicy potatoes, and spicy pork dumplings. The ambiance is a bit meh, but the food more than makes up for it.

To me, the best dish was the vegetable tofu in brown sauce, because it was flavorful enough to enjoy various kinds of flavors. The establishment is clearly a Chinese restaurant that many would visit on a random basis, as it is located amongst a lot of stores that have Chinese on their titles or related to Chinese culture in an outlet format in Cupertino. I thought the Kung Pao Chicken was pretty standard and was good enough to make myself full. The black mushroom with vegetables was unfortunately below my expectations as the mushrooms had strong flavor while the vegetables didn't have any, causing a flavor imbalance, while the dish itself didn't have enough juice or broth to allow some mushroom umami flavor to flavor up the vegetables. The sesame bread with green onion was pretty thick and I mostly used it to accompany my dishes instead of rice, and since it was flavorless itself, it worked out fine. However, if one was expecting it to taste like the scallion pancakes that are popular in China, then one could be disappointed. Since there were other Chinese restaurants around the area, if I make it around the area again, I would most likely try another spot instead.

Well. It tastes like fast food. For example, boil chicken then add on some spicy sauce with “overflowing” amount of sugar. Oh my. Over priced. Panda Express tastes better and cheaper

It seems that this restaurant has changed its chef. I've never eaten such terrible food before. I feel cheated. No wonder there aren't many customers this time. I won't come again. Good Luck Guys!!!
