Good Italian food and seevice in Cupertino. Both entrees we had (lasagna and pasta) were well prepared and tasteful. We were in doubt for the appetizer and the host was very thoughtful and asked the chef to mix up 3 different options from the menu for us. We didn't have pizza but saw a few coming out of the wood fire oven and they looked great.
Despite all the cost effective and honestly pretty decent frozen pizza you can find at the supermarket, there’s absolutely nothing like fresh baked high quality pizza, especially when the crust all by itself makes your mouth water! The staff was beyond friendly and had a great recommendations. I enjoyed my soup of the day as well. The signature pizza with the egg spoke to me on a spiritual level. Definitely support this local restaurant and you will not be disappointed!
Wonderful margarita pizza - thin crust that flops when you pick it up (might not sound right but it's exactly how I love pizza). Drinks are reasonably priced, good selection of wine. Delicious desserts with cute presentation. Dog friendly outdoor patio with cute bistro lights. Definitely recommend!!
Ended up at La Pizzeria Cupertino thinking it was the old Doppio Zero. Stayed for a Friday night meal and It was a very pleasant experience. The servers were extra attentive and friendly. Everyone worked so well in tandem from order, to suggestions, to getting the food in a timely manner, clean up and appreciative greetings. All the while it was a no rush welcoming vibe and very relaxed time. Lots of variety to choose from and very generous portions. I will certainly be back to further explore the menu!
Delicious food and wide variety of items. Kids enjoy watching the staff make pizzas using their pizza oven. Even better can accommodate large parties.
Exceptional service and superior food. I'm ahard one to please. My husband and I were in town and this pizzeria was down the way from our hotel. It completely hit the spot. Salvatore was an amazing hostess, bartender, server.. you name it. Thank you again for this wonderful experience!
There are things that you can’t buy and it’s customer service. Apart from the excellent food I had a carbonara, my part had the giant calzone and the pizza all wood fired that how the real pizza is made. I’d to mention that I decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday last minute at 7:45 and the restaurant closes at 8:30. We didn’t feel any pressure from the staff to hurry or anything else and we had our cake. I highly recommend the restaurant for different occasions since I’ve been there also in a regular dinner night. I’d love to have the name of the server and the manager but will meet these fellow Italians when you stop by.
We come to Cupertino often and when we do, we make sure to have pizza here. I’m gluten free and their pizza crust is just perfect. My husband isn’t and he loves their regular crust and pizza. Simply delicious and authentic Italian pizza.
We had a truly Authentic Italian Pizza Pie and one of the best Ceasar Salads in the bay area. The atmosphere, host and service is friendly and welcoming. The visits bring me back to my trips to Italy, can't wait to go back. They have Great vegan options too. Try the Olio Pasta, Bellisima❣🇮🇹 🙌
we had two pizzas and two pastas. all food was good at fair price. service and ambiance was also good. will be back.
I grew up in Europe eating some of the best pizza. This restaurant reminded me of European style pizza. We ordered five pies of four different kinds (all vegetarian) and they were all delicious. My favorite being the truffle mushroom pizza. Highly recommend! Our server was an absolute delight. Super attentive, courteous and very friendly. He promptly helped us clean up a water spill. He even got us a lovely vanilla gelato with whipped cream on the house for our parents' 50th Anniversary. Also, it was so nice of them for letting us cut our own cake brought from another shop without a "plate fee" which many restaurants charge these days. Loved the food, the service and the ambiance. I'd highly recommend this place. I am definitely going back!!
This used to Dippio Zero but changed to La Pizzeria a couple of years ago. Love coming back to this place. We go here at least once a month. Actually every time we get a craving for Italian this is our go to place. We all had pizza last night. All were delish!!! Pizzas went well with nice bright pinot gris.
110 of us met together for lunch and a a post-italy travel meet up. Everyone was very pleased with the food. I had a four cheese pizza with added mushrooms. Tasty! The restaurant got very busy but we were never underserved. Definitely recommend!
This is a very upper class Italian pizzeria. The waiter was very kind and always asked if we needed anything. They even wished me a happy birthday. The tiramisu is very good.
Excellent restaurant! Everything from serving, atmosphere, to food (including desserts) was perfect! I asked for this pizza I had in Italy with burrata cheese+mortadella+pesto drizzle and they were able to custom make it for me 🥺 tasted like what I had in Italy. What a lovely experience. Definitely coming back to this place. The 3 gelato ice creams were authentic and not too sweet like other American ice creams. My fav was chocolate. Highly highly recommend if you haven't tried 🥰
My favorite Italian place. Food, drinks, and service are always excellent.
We both had the daily special. Gnocchi with Bolognese sauce, spaghetti with fresh black pepper and light cream sauce. Both were fantastic. For dessert we had Panacatta (sp) with raspberry and fresh strawberry and two cappuccinos . Service was fantastic! Our server was from Sicily.
A good spot for Italian food. We had garlic 🧄 cheese bread, lasagna and four cheese penne. All of it was delicious. The lasagna was piping hot and tasted excellent. The penny was outstanding with delicious flavors of the cheese combined. And the garlic bread was great. Also had a glass of Moscato which was excellent. Definitely will return.
High quality food, tastes great. May become our go to Italian place going forward. The Tiramisu is excellent as are the pastas. Lots of veggie options.
Great in everyday. Good drinks, they speak italian!

The appetizers are enjoyable, and my friends mentioned that the pizzas were tasty as well. However, when four of us ordered spaghetti, three of us weren’t very pleased with it. I opted for the pesto pasta with prawns, but unfortunately, the noodles were slightly undercooked and too hard, while the prawns were overcooked and a bit chewy. I hardly touched the spaghetti—quite disappointing.
Passed by this restaurant many times and decided to give it a try. The ambience is nice with an open kitchen and it feels spacious. There is also a nice outdoor dining area. We started with Fritto Misto and Insalata Mediterranean. The fried calamari and shrimp is not bad, however, the red sauce is super salty and not edible. The tartar sauce is ok. Had other better tarter sauce elsewhere. The salad is very good and fresh. The Spaghetti Alla Chitarra with Clams is delicious. There is a good amount of clams and the sauce is light and tasty. The signature pizza is good with toppings covers each inch of the pizza. Never seen any pizza with an egg and this is the first. It comes in thin crust Will come back to the other dishes.
@palate.delites We had made a reservation and the table was ready for us when we arrived. Note that it is a little bit of a walk from the parking to the restaurant. We ordered the vegetariana pizza as an appetizer as it looked appealing. I’m happy to report that it didn’t disappoint. With this we were excited for our order of Antonella gnocchi, pesto spaghetti, Alfredo pasta, and calzone (sub the vegan cheese for regular cheese). Of these, the gnocchi was the best. The spaghetti was a little dry and the calzone was ok. Food was actually a 3.5/5 Desserts- Tiramisu and raspberry panna cotta were delicious! The service was average but the ambiance was nice !!
This was our first visit to this restaurant last Sunday and we weren't disappointed. It reminded us of being in Italy. We sat at the bar, and Salvatore took really good care of us! We had a great time interacting with him. He made a really good Negroni and Expresso Martini. We had some really good Italian wine as well. Everything that we ate was Delizioso! We had the Tagliere Misto, Ravioli with Ricotta & Spinach, and Eggplant Parmigiana. We were too full to have Dolce this time. We'll definitely be back!
We came around 7 PM, but the wine and appetizers we tried to order were already sold out. The waiter suggested the calamari as an alternative, which was delicious. The lobster ravioli was a little crunchy. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was good.
Went back 5/16 for lunch... w/ colleagues. The food is still very good! Had the pizza Alla Boscaiola, shown in the attached photo, which I will come back for. Reducing the rating after a recent disappointing visit... May 11, 2024. I reordered the off-the-menu item that I had before - the Seafood Spaghetti. I shared the photo from my previous review, expecting the same. Unfortunately, it came out like a soup (see the photo). I've never had seafood pasta or spaghetti around the world (US, Canada, many countries in Europe, and Asia) that was soup-like. Taste was okay w/ good ingredients, though I had to use the spoon to get all the taste (sauce, e.g.) in one bite, rather than the sauce "clinging to the pasta. I was surprised by the price -- what was $36 in Dec 2023 was now $48 (at lunch), turning it into the most expensive dish vs. those on the menu... Dec 2023 An authentic Italian restaurant with excellent, well-balanced food and courteous and attentive service! A worthy place to bring esteemed guests. Reminiscing about the seafood pasta (spagetti) from Europe, I inquired about it. The maître d'hôtel graciously volunteered to make one, though not on the menu. He then instinctively described the dish, which was music to my ear - spaghetti with calamari, salmon, clams, shrimp, etc. (no mussels!) in carbonara sauce! It turned out really excellent and very similar to those I had in Europe - pasta cooked to just right level, sauce that cling to the ingredients, fresh seafood, ... Caprese and the fried calamari and prawns, as appetizers, were also excellent where the latter was lightly battered with crispy outside and tender (not overcooked) inside. Their pizzas are also excellent, by the way. We order them for office lunches sometimes.
The food was very good and the service was quick. There was some miscommunication between two servers we had, but it was very minor. The service was quick! My fiance and I were seated in the back next to the pizza oven, which was fun. We liked the interior design of the restaurant, but the house music also gave it a weird early-2000s club vibe. Didn't match the aesthetics. A little pricey for what you get, but that's inflation for you.
They’re very generous with the amount of pasta in an order. Could have used a bit more bacon for all the pasta. Pizza was good and had a generous amount of cheese. Tiramisu was my favorite bite of the meal. It’s light for a tiramisu with lots of chocolate and coffee flavors coming through.

Service is excellent, and food is tasty and fresh. First time here, while visiting friends, and I ordered the meatballs, pasta, and creme brulee.
Celebrating birthdays is always great when you have great food and a vibrant atmosphere. We recently came here just for that purpose and to try some Italian fare. The place was easy to find with plenty of parking. Inside was spacious and nicely done with Italian accented waiters which definitely lent to the authenticity. As a large group we ordered a few rounds of appetizers from garlic bread to the caprese vegetale, both were quite delicious. On to the main dishes. Vegetarian pizza, pizza with potato and rosemary, and a classic Margherita all failed to wow me unfortunately. Thin crust Wood fired pizza is know for its crisp crust and this was not it. Flavor wise it was decent but not anything that would make me come back for it. The pasta I ordered was what I was really looking forward to, spinach and ricotta ravioli in the creamy red pepper sauce... So disappointing. The ravioli was chewy and the sauce lacked depth of flavor. Overall maybe the other dishes they serve are on par but I won't come back.
Food and service was very mid. Pizza was possibly dewed up underneath so the middle got very soggy, the outer crust was chewy not crisp. If you are into rolling up a pizza when you eat it you probably won’t have an issue, although I have an issue with that. The pasta was alright. The fritti antipasta was breaded pretty well. There was only 1 waiter for the entire restaurant on father’s day night so you can imagine how slow things were. One of our beer was poured all over the glass on the outside and I witnessed a couple drops on the outside of the glass falling into my dad’s glass of water. Quite disgusting. A waste of the atmosphere. My mom also pointed out everyone seemed to just be doing their job and not really liking to work there which is kinda sad and it shows in the food and service.

Service was prompt and attentive. Prosciutto arugula pizza was good, wish the crust was more charred and blistered. Squid ink pasta was tasteless and watery, squid pieces while generous was very disappointing. Price of Italian sodas were $4 on the menu but $5 on the bill. Atmosphere was very nice. Games were playing on the big screens. Plenty of parking in the back. Vegan options.

Margarita Pizza was ok, should be more crispy on the bottom (felt like Pitta Bread). Chicken was tasteless, not even a reminder of Italian kitchen.
Chicken Alfredo with spaghetti pasta not on the menu, chicken was chewy meal salty, The short rib ravioli was short of any ribs overdosed with salt - Horrible. Spaghetti squid ink also inedible with excessive salt. $140 down the drain..
This place charges around $20 per item for poor quality ingredients. The pizza and pasta I tried weren't very good. The pizza was rather generic and the pasta sauce was light and disappointing. The pasta itself was not fresh at all. Tasted like dried pasta you'd buy from the grocery store. There were bugs flying around and landing on the table and around the food. The water glasses came dirty with stuff floating in the water. Not a nice place to take a date at all. The service was at least okay but I would not come back.
I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated. The place was average at best. The vibe and service was good but there was no item that is worth recommending. We ordered the Antonella's favorite gnocchi and penne Salsiccia. The gnocchi looked very appetizing but that was all. It did not live up to it's looks. The gnocchi was sticky and the sauce did not have a good taste. The penne pasta tasted better especially the sausage but still wasn't worth the value. Also, for a fine dining restaurant it was surprising that there was no complimentary bread that they served. I was looking forward to the bread since they did have olive oil and balsamic laid out on the table. If you're looking forward to eat Italian I'd give this place a miss and try a different one.

Great food! Very sloppy service… Tried the Campbell earlier, that one had great food and service but this one not up to the mark. The server took forever to get the drinks and dessert. Even after reminders. Also seemed a tad rude. Will stick to the Campbell location.
