Brunch here was lit! Walked in to a DJ spinning great music. The food was slamming good. Gator bites were like butter and the sauce was awesome. Crab boil was fresh and delicious and the gumbo was kick A. Our waitress was hilarious, upbeat and all over it!! You wanna party for brunch hit up Bucky Moonshines!!

If you love New Orleans food, this is the place !!! It’s hard to find good Cajun food outside of New Orleans. Had boudin balls and fried green tomatoes, topped with the Tennessee hurricane. Food was hot and homemade (hand, battered and dipped). This is my first time trying this place and I already love it. Definitely will be back. Love the loud music and the atmosphere. It’s just like being in New Orleans. Service was awesome, from beginning to the end.

Had one of the best brunches I’ve had in Dallas here! Things pick up around 1 on Sunday and it is such a fun time with the live DJ! I had the chicken and waffles off of the brunch menu and it was phenomenal! Can’t wait to go back and try more items!!

It's a whole vibe! Went with my cousins for our monthly brunch and walked away completely satisfied. Except for the bottomless mimosas. "Bottomless" is an automatic note to self that there's minimal champagne in the mimosa. 🤨😏 As for the food, it's top-tier. I got the shrimp and grits along with a Belgian waffle. I don't know what they use, but they're the BEST waffles I've ever eaten! The shrimp and grits are cheesy. They shrimp could be broiled/grilled, in my opinion, because they look like they came thawed out of a bag of frozen shrimp, but it's still good. And make sure you ask for your syrup to be heated. It makes the whipped butter melt perfectly. 👌🏾 The DJ was playing the jams. They even had a karaoke type element to it. My one cousin even got on the mic, much to my horror 😳🫣, but we had a blast! If y'all haven't been to this spot, I highly suggest you go.

Bartender was cool and trying to make small talk. We got there at 9pm so too early bc it was dead but he showed me a video of it packed at 1am so will have to come back later. The DJ was throwing jams! Good music. I liked the roof top vibe.

Coming here solo as a brown guy from Toronto was a very interesting experience. Black culture where I'm from is predominantly Caribbean, Southern Black culture is something I've only had third-person experience of. I was circling the neighbourhood for a bit, unsure of where I should go since I was on my own. There was a girl promoting the place outside of the club, she told me it was still free entry at that point of the night so I was sold. Pat down was thorough, which is understandable given the local gun culture. I ordered the Red Ball subbed with vodka from a chill bartender, price was right especially for a club. It was very early in the night so the main floor wasn't very active yet, so after some time I wet up to the rooftop to vibe out. I noticed a sign that prohibited cannabis...but EVERYONE was smoking blunts hahaha. The vibe on the rooftop was cool, it was awesome hearing southern rappers in a club like Lil Boosie, Webbie etc. because you don't ever hear that type of music in Toronto clubs. People weren't exactly friendly but not hostile either, I felt comfortable even though I was by myself.

This place is a hit or miss at times. The music is typically extra loud and the DJ tries to sing or plays pass the mic 🎤 to any and every body. I'm sure it fun for most, but I come for the food and convo. Lol! I guess I'm introverted like that. But the service and my extra dirty martini 🍸 were good! You cannot miss with their chicken 🐔 wings. They always hit! The fried crawfish tails 🦐 were good with the cocktail sauce. I also had the fried catfish with the dirty rice and topped w/ a crawfish sauce. It was just okay. I took it home to my mom. My daughter got the chicken wings & waffle 🧇. It was great, fluffy and buttery 🧈. This is not my first time here, nor will it be my last time here. The chicken is just that good!

We met for our Galentines brunch and so glad we picked this place. It was such a vibe. Good music DJ interaction with the customers had us all singing along. $7 bottomless mimosas it was more juice but for $3 more we ordered a side of champagne. Everyone’s food they said was good. I got the Mac & cheese with popcorn shrimp. Shrimp was good but Mac & cheese a bit dry. Calamari was good but small serving. Friend pickles were good. All the servers were awesome and friendly. It was our first time but won’t be the last!

I stopped by here from a friend's recommendation, and it wasn't bad at all. I liked the atmosphere of the inside but outside setup. The food was decent and the music tolerable. The only thing that I didn't like was paying to park, but in that area you have to pay everywhere! It's like $7 for a long time (more than needed) everything else was like for overnight stays (who needs that?) Be careful it's all kinds of walks of life walking around there!

We’ve been going here for years and it’s under new management now. We went there for Sunday funday. My meal was ok. The chicken was too overcooked but I still enjoyed the waffles. The family enjoyed their meal! The dessert was amazing!!!!

I dig The Nines, the women are attractive and active (dancing, drinking and sociable). There is not much negativity from the fellas and the staff assists you the whole night from behind the bar to the front door. Nice location, they are near other bars and restaurants. I have a good time every/time I go.

Love the rooftop area of this place. The downstairs area is pretty small. I don't like the new "dance floor" area. Too small. I liked it better when it was Red Light Lounge. Other than that, it's a chill spot to hang out for drinks and listen to music.

If you're of a certain culture, you'll most likely enjoy this place. The staff was nice, the drinks came quick. Plenty of security guards everywhere. Very good pat down upon entry. The upstairs dance floor was large and if not so cold out probably quite fun. Definitely a place for people liking some booty shaking rap music. I wasn't quite in that kind of dance mood.. lol

I recently visited this restaurant and was initially impressed by the inviting environment and friendly staff. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I had high hopes for the food. I started with the gator bites and calamari, but unfortunately, both were overcooked and lacked flavor. For my entrée, I had the catfish with crawfish. The presentation was appealing, but the taste didn’t live up to expectations. However, I must say that the drinks were the highlight of the experience. They were well-crafted and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a spot with a nice ambiance and great drinks, this place could be worth a visit, but I’d recommend exploring other food options elsewhere.

Located in Deep Ellum, I was excited to see a new restaurant rather than just another bar. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The service was fantastic and my cocktail was nice and strong. However, the food was mid at best. I ordered: Fried shrimp (it was bland and dry - I’ve actually never had dry fried shrimp); green beans (these were decent, had a little spice; macaroni (me and my colleague both agreed it was not good); and lastly, & hush puppies (these were decent). My food was about $30. I don’t feel like it was worth it and I don’t plan on going back. There’s food at other establishments in Deep Ellum far better.

Bouncer that was there tonight needs to go thru training again or something. Groped an entire group of dudes and asked my non binary partner to tell him what exact gender they are so he knew if he should pat them down. Why not just use the wand and let them go on their way? Definitely needs to become educated so this doesn’t happen to more people. Won’t be coming back.

So I’m leaving a one star review because if google could let me leave a zero I would most definitely give it to this “club/bar” for being the worst establishment in Deep Ellum. This bar is disgustingly prejudice. I recently just went last Saturday with me and a couple of girlfriends, me being the only guy out the group who is 5’0 foot, the shortest and smallest out of them, and pretty much everyone else inside the bar was literally manhandled and harassed by a security guard for using the bathroom. Pushed me to the ground for no reason. Behind this, told my friend that he was about to put his hands on me while I’m inside the bathroom?? (And so y’all are not confused the bathroom is for both male and females, it’s literally just one bathroom for whoever needs to use it, even has a sign showing that right outside the door) So when I come out I’m literally on the floor confused as ever to be on the GROUND!!! For NO reason!!! Men like him have a big insecurity issue within themselves for you to go out your way and hurt others who don’t pose a threat and are just being themselves and I’m only writing this review for a lawsuit because once I tried to still be the bigger and responsible person after I was the one getting touched for no reason, I tried talking to the bartender, security outside and several other workers to get the security name and all I got was “were not obligated to give out that information” asked to speak to a manager “I’m the manager for the night” apparently every person I spoke with is a manager up there which is beyond hilarious and ridiculous. But I thank god for the support system I have… filed a police report and spoke with a lawyer, it’s tragic people still have to deal with this kind of stuff in 2024.

I had heard great things about this place and was excited to celebrate my special day here with friends and family but once we arrived everything went downhill. They refused to seat us despite showing proof of our reservation and after waiting almost half an hour we were finally seated. The owner was extremely rude when we tried to bring it up and refused to hear us out. I totally understand the pressure restaurant owners carry but to go out your way and literally tell us to "get out and find a diff club" is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the night was ruined, I would hate for anyone to go through the same experience.

Charged $90 for parking and when I left I was harassed by a guy trying to force me to let him wash my windshield with his bucket and squeegee. There are no gates or parking lot attendants/security or any indication this is a paid parking lot. I was parked here for 3 hours and received a letter saying I parked illegally and owe $90. No parking is that is expensive. I didn’t even spend that much at the club that night. Not safe, ripped off, stay away from this place!
