Opinions de Serious Pizza Dallas
The place is beautiful and the drinks are even more esthetically pleasing. The bartenders were helpful and made some delicious drinks. They have a wide variety of liquor to choose from. They apparently have a speakeasy bar in the back, I believe it's only open on weekends. We didn't try any food but judging by other reviews it's amazing. We will without question come back here.
Let me tell you this place passes the vibe check. The playlist they had playing was so fire. I also loved that their was a DJ that came in later to turn the place up. I went on a Sunday around Brunch time. The Bartender was so fire! He made out drinks super fast and overall was just cool. I also loved that there was this secret looking room in the back. This spot is just overall dope. I will be going back!
One of the best meals and dining experiences that I have had lately. We arrived and were immediately greeted and seated. We had some amazing cocktails served creatively and thumbs up to the mixologist! The food was stellar! Each dish continued to wow me. The dumplings were some of the best that I’ve ever had. When you visit, you have to ask about the secret menu. You will be very happy that you did. Happy eating!
At first I thought Neon Kitten was all IG hype. Now I'm convinced it's one of my favorite new bars in Dallas. The cute decor, friendly service and unique food and drink options make for a great stop. I wish their patio was as cool as the rest of the building but it doesn't change my thoughts on the place.
So far the best place in Dallas! The food was amazing and the bartender is generous with the pour. I had the chicken and waffles, the waffles were perfect and the chicken was just right. However the star of the meal was the side of grits!!!! I will for sure go back just for those....ORDER THE GRITS! The restaurant itself was well appointed and trendy. The staff was very friendly and always checked to make sure you were doing ok. The owner, Im guessing it was the owner, greets you at the door and makes sure everything and everyone are ok. Also there is a speak easy behind the bookcase. Put this place on the list.
Fun, upbeat atmosphere with a great playlist and cute aesthetic. The food is what feels like a modern fusion take on Asian food, and it was delicious. Be sure to ask your server what they recommend so you can learn more about the menu. Delicious cocktails and apps, and mouthwatering dishes. Our sever was Jenn and she was absolutely amazing. We had a bit of a hard time deciding, but she helped us with recommendations and we loved what we got. On top of helping us order, Jenn was fun, never let our glasses reach empty, and gave amazing service. 6 out of 5 stars to her. Especially when we got sake bombs. Do yourself a favor and order sake bombs! It’s a lot of fun.
This place is adorable and the employees are super friendly. Highly recommend the pork belly benedict. Drinks are unique and cute. They do add an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of party size, so just be prepared before you go.
Visited for the first time an I'll tell you look for the blue walls and pink flowers. Late at night Neon Kitten is difficult to spot but i think that makes it even more worth to find it. Again Neon Kitten doesn't have any marks but when you enter the entire room erupts in greetings. The Osaka (Hello Kitty glass) is a must and as a yellowtail fan you'll love the Yellowtail Jalepaneo. Reserve in advance and this place is perfect for date night and hanging with friends.
Amazing Lunch! Everything was so good. Loved the Shrimp Fun Roll. The Pumkin puff is the perfect ending to your meal. Bring friends. I have been looking for a good Dim Sum Place. This place is under priced for the quality of their food. Go now before they raise their prices!
This is one of the best ever restaurants/bars I’ve been to. On top of the cute ambiance and cute drinks, the food and the service was impeccable. Everyone made us feel so comfortable, warm, and overall we had such an enjoyable time. The servers had banter with us, especially Scott. Even thought they were understaffed due to COVID, we did not wait long for the food or drinks, they’d always check up on us to make sure everything was good which it was. The food was fresh with exquisite flavors and even thought we couldn’t decide, Scott chose an amazing combination of delicious dishes for us. I’m definitely coming back here again, especially to reorder the HelloKitty drink! 10/10 place that everyone should go to!
Neon Kitten is a gorgeous stop on your nightly rounds in Deep Ellum. I loved everything we were able to sample on our trip, the bar staff, wait staff and manager are sure to make your visit feel like you're part of the family.
DELICIOUS!! Atmosphere was so fun and hype, and the food even impressed my very hard to impress brother in law who couldn’t stop raving about everything. Cocktails were delicious too. The service at first was odd and slow, but then the owner Bob came and took care of us and it was only up from there. His suggestions were great and we loved talking to him. I love how they cheer everyone on as they walk in. Would definitely come back!!
This is a top ten establishment in dfw! I swear I've live in many places. I've visited NY city, Chicago, DC, Miami, Orlando, Belgium, and this would be my top 10. It's a vibe. The anime friendly environment. The owner is a gem. The staff...chefs kiss. The food is under priced for the quality and authenticity..hats off to the chef...best bar...
Genuinely enjoyed this spot. Their cocktails and appetizers were very creative and a hit. we also really enjoyed the staff.
We had an awesome time the Bar Staff was great and the dumplings were delicious. We had the pumpkin, shrimp and siu mai.
Went with some friends and they accidentally overbooked but this ended us up in the back speak-easy part of the bar and I’m glad! The bar tenders were phenomenal! They were very attentive and creative with their drinks which were really good. Unlike the front of the bar, there was no menu, which made the experience that much more exciting. The food was also delicious and aesthetically appealing! Despite the hiccup with getting us a table, they were able to remedy the situation with a quickness and professionalism. Great customer service 👍🏻
This is our favorite pizza joint in the DFW. The atmosphere seems slightly punk rock to me, but my maybe I'm just projecting. It's fun to watch the chefs toss the dough in the air. The delicious pizza is so large it's necessary to tilt the box sideways when entering through my doorway. Our family of 4 can usually eat about half of the largest pizza and save the other half for lunches the following day.
I’m not easily impressed, but this specific location is FIRE! Everyone on staff is excellent and happy to be there! It really shows what kind of management is present. Although I love everyone there, one really stands out…LISA! She’s always going out of her way to provide top tier service! She’s genuinely the energy of the environment!
Home of the Huge Slice! I ordered a slice that was the size of a whole pizza. The pizza it came off of was about a yard across. I can't imagine taking a whole one of those home. I don't think it would fit the oven or the fridge. I had mine topped with Buffalo Chicken. It was awesome! I highly recommend it.
Absolutely a spectacular pizza location. The pizzas are fresh, the venue is clean, and the service is outstanding! The manager is a Gem!!!! This likely the best thin crust pizza I have eaten. I ordered a slice as I was on the move but when I tell the slice was substantial it was filling. The crust is light, crisp but not hard. The pizza it seems is brushed with a butter sauce which makes it so good! I will definitely be back again, and again, and again!!!
My friends and I decided to take out the whole box of their largest pizza for the experience and it was the best decision we've done while we were in Dallas, Texas 😂🍕 If you're looking for a unique experience while enjoying amazing pizza, I definitely recommend this pizza restaurant! Definitely worthwhile ⭐😁
Here we goooooooo!!!! My wife decided to take me on a lunch date to try Serious Pizza. We are frequent visitors of Epic East and had been waiting on this place to open (its been open since July 24. When you walk in the ambiance reminds you of a late 80s to early 90s diner wich was super cool. You walk to the kiosks to order your food and don't worry if you're not tech savvy, it's very easy to navigate. Our onion rings and loaded fries came out 1st and they were exactly as we expected. Shortly thereafter, 2 massive slices of pie were ready. I ordered the meat lovers and she had a pepperoni. The slices reminds me of a traditional NY slice without that brick oven crunch. To make things even better Kelsey was SUPER AMAZING in assisting us with condiments and explained how we can get a midday drink if needed. Serious pizza is must try for a great thin slice of pie. Make sure you speak to Kelsey when you come in.

Food was top notch. Service was cool. ambiance was decent. I ate the pizza too fast to take a picture. I have no regrets! You must check it out.

Had a very delicious pizza here. Staff was friendly, service was quick. The large pizzas are so good, especially after a few drinks. Definitely will be back again if I'm in Dallas.
We got really lucky eating here Sunday evening. There was no wait at all. In fact, the place was empty. Usually I'd take that as a bad sign, however, the food and service was great. My favorite was the morel shrimp dumplings and salmon sushi. Delicious!! Service was great and friendly. It was good, but I doubt I'll come for a second visit since there was only 2 memorable food items for me; but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it.
Parking is a beast in the area although the parking lot wasn't too far a walk. We actually passed the restaurant since there wasn't a sign. When you walk in you're greeted by all the customers and staff members so forget about shying away, there's no time. We had outdoor seating but it was rather cozy and great for hanging out especially if your party is a little louder. We ordered their infamous cocktail served in a Hello Kitty. So cute, we got our IG worthy photos and Snaps for days. Servers were nice. We ordered a little bit of everything. The cocktails were definitely the main attraction and food was for eating during or after a few drinks.
Neon Kitten’s presentation is on point! Their staff gave us a warm welcome and were super friendly. The dim-sum has a nice twist to it and their beef tataki is delicious, but their drinks and sushi were just ok. The problem was their ventilation system was awful - by the end of the night we were choking from the smoke from their grill (to be fair, I have asthma, so that’s probably why it affected me so much). Not sure if they were having an issue with their ventilation system or if it’s always like that. I would recommend checking them out, but if you have asthma you might want to sit in their outdoor patio area.
They sell by the slice ($5+toppings) and it's a huge slice! Marinara sauce isn't well spiced... like a watery pomodoro which makes the cheese + toppings slide around. I will admit, its a pretty greasy pie (see photo) but for the price I won't complain! Crust isn't anything special on its own, requires dunking in the provided ranch to help it go down
This is a great place to get a slice. And i mean a HUGE SLICE!!! As soon as you walk in you can smell that dough.... That fresh baked bread smell. Mmmmmmmmm!!! 😮 The selections are really good. They have several sauces you can jazz up your pizza with. They also have a ton of toppings on the veggie side and a fine selection of meats... Sausage, pepperoni and on and on. Did i mention the huge slices. One slice comes off their 30" pizza. That's right, 30 glorious inches of crust sauce and cheese. Service is fantastic. At one point i noticed another slice on our table. Was it an extra or a leftover. Nope!!!! Somewhere along the way my slice ripped in half kind of... They replaced it with a source that was not split in two... For free. I was amazed. They do have smaller pizzas by where is the fun in that. Good for the large 30" pizza is enormous!!! They have sodas, tea's and all sort of healthier things to drink. You won't be disappointed!!!
Well the saying EVERYTHING IS BIGGER IN TEXAS is synonymous with this place,in fact they should have gone with the name"Texas Pete's Ugh!"\n1 slice in itself is a mini pizza and it was good as well…
Pizza is okay but don't expect to get a glass of water. After spending $17 on two slices I'm not allowed to have a cup to get my own water out of a 5 gallon igloo cooler. Don't think I'll be back.

Went for their Valentines day event and the music was extremely loud; to the point we had to yell to talk. The food was good but I not the best compared to other locations. The drinks were strong and would definitely recommend as a drinking spot if the drinks weren’t so expensive. The steak was my favorite part of the food.
We run the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market. Anthony stopped by and offered us a large pizza for a review. They made us half and half the Philly Cheesesteak and the Special White. I’ve never had either one before. Frankly, I’m a traditional pepperoni and extra tomato sauce person. These were okay. I feel like the crust should be crisper. I do think that would help. I love that Serious Pizza is open super late!! That’s being a good neighbor and is an asset to Deep Ellum.
So this is my second time coming here. The first time we came here, we waited for 2 hours and when I noticed other people getting their pizza before us, I went to the counter and they said they forgot our order. No apology, nothing. I got my money back and didn’t come back. This time when we came, we got our pizza, it was good, but when we went to place our order, there was a homeless man standing at the counter smelling strongly of urine. It smelt so bad my husband and I both thought there was pee on the ground but nope it was a homeless man asking them for a slice which they declined. We ordered the 30 inch pepperoni and half pepperoni and jalepenos and a 18 inch meat lovers. They were both good and the frozen fruit punch drink they had was very strong and good as well. It’s just always something when we come here that makes it not be a complete 5 star good experience.

Serious pizza employees and their contracted security denied access to a veteran that was covered under the ADA. They laughed at and mocked him. This behavior cannot be supported.

They would not allow a US Veteran to use their restroom though Texas law requires them to which led to him soiling himself. Horrible business.

Never eat at a.place that shames the men and women who serve this country! This place should be closed, and never be allowed to do business again! As a member of the disabled community, it is my duty to point out this business and the incredibly disgraceful disgusting behavior of their employees.
This is a shameful establishment. They not only refused to allow a disabled vet use the restroom in his time of dire need, they called the cops on him. That isn't all though. As if that wasn't bad enough, the cops showed up and started mocking the guy they turned away (literally slapping their knee while laughing at him), while the employees can be seen laughing along with them. Even more disgusting, when you mention this in a review, it gets ignored. As I look through their reviews, I see responses to most of the negative reviews, but when this topic shows up..... crickets. No apology. No acknowledgement. Nothing. At least look this up for yourself before you dine here. Then you can make your own mind up as to if you want to support an establishment like this. The crust was burnt, the sauce was watery and the service is garbage. They need to start from scratch. Do better. Expand the image I have uploaded to see for yourself.
I have been coming here since 2017. And I will never be back unless they can expand their restaurant. Their food used to be good and come out a reasonable time, now it is unorganized and ridiculous. I called a pick up order at 7:07, and was told it will be done in 20 minutes. I arrived at 7:57 to be told another 10 minutes. At 8:15 I ask about the status and told minimum 3 times from 2 different employees “it is coming out rn”. Now I have been in the service industry for 10 years, and have patience and understanding for restaurant employees. However I didn’t leave the restaurant until 8:15. I can understand having a high order volume and wait, but don’t waste my time. I would’ve been irate to show up at the expected pick up time and wait an hour at the restaurant. In addition to unrealistic and unreasonable wait times I was given food that was drastically different sizes. I paid $20 for 2 slices, had to wait almost 20 minutes, and given food where the quality isn’t there anymore. I suggest if you want pizza order dominos and stop by Kroger for toppings.
